Beautiful place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everything about Kyle House was perfect for our daughter's wedding. The space, the vintage vibe, the food, the bar, planning, location, and price were better than we could have ever hoped for. Guests are still complementing the food and the overall ambiance of the location. Everyone says the same thing..."Simply Magical."

Amanda was great to work with, very responsive and helpful through the whole process. The venue is simple but elegant and beautiful. We didn't need to add much, if anything, of our own accents to make the place special.

The Kyle House was one of, if not, my first choice for a wedding venue! Not only is it full of history, and perfectly mirrors the old Victorian architecture of mid to late 19th century, the house has already been thoughtfully decorated to illuminate the beauty of its interior. With decorating, and catering included in Amanda’s services, she was also able to recommend a florist, bakery, and transportation for our event. We ended up going with all of Amanda’s suggestions, and felt very confident about how our venue would be organized on our big day! Also the catering for our event was sublime. Thanks again! I can not recommend the Kyle House more for your event venue needs :)

Amanda was amazing. The whole process was seamless and everyone was pleased with how beautiful the venue was.

Jim and Amanda were great throughout the entire planning process! Amanda was always quick to respond to my many questions and made both the planning and day-of events stress-free. My bridesmaids told me repeatedly that this was the calmest wedding day they have been part of. Also, if you choose The Kyle House as your venue, it is worth every penny to hire Michelle Day as your planner. She works at this venue frequently and is SO helpful. My mother and I were so grateful for both Michelle and Amanda. When we arrived at the venue the day of the wedding at 11:00 AM (wedding was at 6 PM), Michelle had already picked up the cupcakes and had the entire venue decorated! At the end of the wedding, Michelle had all of our decorations (you do not need to buy much since the Schaals have almost everything you need) packed up and delivered to the house next door where my parents stayed (an additional perk that you can rent the house next door!!) in less than 30 minutes. Cannot recommend this awesome venue enough!

It is every girl’s dream to have the perfect wedding with no surprises or accidents. The Kyle House made this happen for me! The Kyle House was absolutely Ah-Mazing!!!!! There is nothing for me to complain about. Everything was Perfect! My guest absolutely fell in Love with that place and I’m still hearing about how delicious the food was! Thank you Jim and Amanda for your perfection, great communication and kindness! I’ll never forget this place! It is where my dream came true!

This was the best decision for our wedding day! The team assembled at the Kyle House is top notch and they make everything so easy. I would also SERIOUSLY recommend hiring Michelle Day as wedding coordinator since her rates are so reasonable and she made the day work. I received so many compliments on the venue and the food, many people said it was the most beautiful wedding that they've been to!

Kyle house did such a great job! The food was great, the venue was absolutely charming, and the staff was super attentive and helpful. The locale needed hardly an decorations, because it was so gorgeous.

We could not have picked a better venue for our big day. Almost everything we needed was included, which took so much stress off us. Jim and Amanda were amazing tonwork with and went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. I would never go anywhere else if we could do it again.

The Kyle House is simply stunning and has a vintage, romantic feel to it. It's easy to communicate and plan a wedding from another State with the owners, and they are very friendly and prompt to respond and flexible to work with. This venue is also amazing because it is everything you need in one spot! You have a separate "get ready" room for the bride and groom and wedding party. The chapel- barn and the reception are a quick walk across the hall and there's even a cute cabin included for your "honeymoon" after wedding night, right across the street! All linens, centerpieces, etc are included. The venue is already set up with a sound system inside the reception area and into the chapel-barn, if you didn't want to hire a DJ, you could literally plug your phone up with a playlist and have everything you need. Oh, and goodness, the food IS AMAZING. Your guests will rave about the food long after your ceremony is over, the owners of the venue also own a catering company, so pick this venue and you don't have to worry about booking that separate either! You can't go wrong with this place, it's just perfect.

I can't say enough good things about Jim & Amanda/Kyle House! Our wedding this February went perfect (I'm not even kidding, we don't have a single "bad story" to tell). The staff, food, environment was wonderful! If you're wanting an intimate setting but at the same time not feeling confined/claustrophobic then the Kyle House is perfect! Jim & Amanda were so great to work with! Amanda was always in contact with me between questions, checking in, etc throughout the entire 6 month process for us. The venue comes with so much between decor, table pieces. You almost hardly have to decorate anything because it has so much character on its own. I also highly recommend hiring their coordinator they partner with, Michelle Day. If it wasn't for Michelle then I can't imagine our wedding going as smooth as it did!

The Kyle House was absolutely magnificent! Everything about the day was perfect and the look was exactly what we wanted it to be. The ceremony in the barn was exactly what we wanted and the flow and atmosphere in the house for the reception was perfect. Great place to have your wedding!

The Kyle House was amazing! The location is very unique and beautiful, the food was amazing, the staff was very professional, and I couldn't have asked for a better venue. Everyone raved over the house and the food. The house and barn are full of character and not much decor is needed at all. Also, everything was included: location, food, staff, linens, furniture...it was wonderful to have one vendor for everything. Loved every minute of our day!

Jim and Amanda Schaal, proprietors of the Kyle House, provide a lovely setting for special events. We had my granddaughters wedding there and everything was perfect from the pre-wedding dressing rooms, to the cozy chapel, the delicious food at the reception and the warm welcoming rooms to visit in. There are numerous places both inside and out to take pictures.

This was a beautiful venue for a cozy winter wedding. Not only is the Kyle house a great venue, but the owner Jim Schall is the caterer and the food was outstanding. We would highly recommend this venue.

The Kyle House is a beautiful place to have a wedding and reception. Due to cold weather we moved our wedding inside by the fireplace in the ballroom and it was gorgeous. The food was delicious and the night flowed very well. Jim Schaal was flexible and wanted to make sure that we were happy. We stayed in the log cabin next door for our wedding night and was so relaxing to just walk across the street at the end of the night. Jim even went and bought an electric blanket to make sure we were warm in extremely cold temperatures. I would highly recommend this venue.

This venue is perfect. Everybody is so knowledgeable and helpful! Even planning my wedding long distance was easy, there was always somebody on the other end to help.

What a fabulous place for a wedding! The house is just beautiful. The food was to die for and the service was terrific!

Beautiful venue with great staff and space. Plenty of room for both wedding parties, guests, and food. Their catering was excellent, the place was exceptionally clean, and parking easily accessible.

Elegant, all inclusive location and hassle free.

My husband and I selected the Kyle House in large part because they made it so easy and (reasonably) affordable. Neither of us wanted to have to do a lot of planning, and Amanda and Jim made it easy to just say yes. We used their menu (which was amazing!), their centerpieces, their decor, and even convinced them to make us bread pudding (which I still dream about) so we didn't have to deal with a cake. Amanda was very flexible with timing and everything else and the catering staff did an incredible job with the crazy combos of special dietary restrictions we gave them. I could not recommend anyplace more highly, especially for busy folks or people who don't want to have to make a billion choices. You can certainly customize your wedding here, but there was not a pressing need to do so. So we actually got to relax and enjoy the wedding ourselves.

We were blown away by the promptness of the staff, their positive attitudes and professional behavior at The Kyle House! The owners, Jim and Amanda Schaal are very responsive to phone calls and emails and will sit down with you as many times as you would like to discuss your big day. The venue is incredibly beautiful and unique! There are new renovations in the barn that really add value to the venue. They are the caterers for the venue as well ... and it's worth every penny! Every single guest we spoke to raved about how delicious the food was. We would highly recommend this venue!

I already reviewed Schaals Catering--they own and operate Kyle House, but I will review again! This was a PERFECT setting for our intimate wedding (around 40 guests). Being on the same property but having two separate buildings made it beyond easy for us to rehearse/decorate the day before and all get ready the day of. The groom ended up hanging out downstairs and I was upstairs....we didn't see each other but it was nice knowing we were in the same place. Kyle House is beautifully decorated, and they provide every thing you *NEED*, the only time decorating is necessary is if you had a specific theme (I brought my own centerpieces in). I was so appreciative that they had all the misc items that I needed on site (cake stand, serve ware, linens, audio in the barn chapel) and it was all included in the venue fee. If this venue is your style it can definitely prove to be very budget friendly. Our day was absolutely perfect.
