Truly the best day of our lives

Kristen photographed our engagement and wedding, and will call her any and all other special occasions that will happen in my life. She makes you genuinely smile and look/feel pretty, and has a way with making everyone feel comfortable, including dogs. Working with Kristen was easy because she can read you and know what she can ask of you or the type of pictures she can get, and they are nothing short of amazing. With her bag of tricks, fun personality, and eye for detail, Kristen is a true professional. We are thrilled with all of our pictures, and can not wait for the next time we get to document a fun day.

All I can say is AMAZING!!! She was so much fun and easy to work with. We had our 3 dogs with us in our engagement pictures and she knew exactly how to get them to look. We got so many compliments on them and could not have been happier. If you want your 4 legged friend in the picture she is the one to go with. If we were not getting married in Mexico she would be doing our wedding.

The first look on my wedding day was unforgettable. Kristen chose a beautiful setting for Chris to see me for the first time - a sequestered garden by the church in late Spring, it was truly picture perfect. I tear up looking at the photos as you can see the raw emotion in our faces. Kristen's photos are beyond beautiful, they are artistic, they capture the entire essence of the emotions we were experiencing on our wedding day.

It was such an honor and a pleasure to have Kristen photograph our wedding. Kristen came so highly recommended, that we paid her travel expenses to join us for our beach wedding in Rosemary Beach, Florida. The photography is such an important part of documenting this big day, and we didn't want to chance using a photographer whose work we weren't familiar with. Kristen is so talented and has the ability to capture all the beautiful (and silly) moments, big and small. Not mention the way she uses the natural light is phenomenal. You won't be disappointed. By far one of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding was having Kristen handle the photography. She did an outstanding job and is definitely the BEST of the best.

I feel like pictures are often the chaotic and overwhelming part of a wedding but with Kristen this was not the case. Kristen has the perfect balance of being directive, calm, hilarious and supportive while working with you. Her talent is undeniable, she has an eye for the perfect lighting and is so creative when it comes to different shots. We took my bridal portraits at The Swan House ( President Snow house in the Hunger Games - yeah she has connections ; ) ) and she made me feel like a rockstar. I had the best time and it made me so excited for the pictures during the wedding weekend. When I saw the bridal portraits I teared up because they were so wonderful. The wedding party and my husband and I had the best time working with Kristen and the pictures are beautiful and truly one of a kind. We have gotten countless compliments not only on Kristen's work but also her awesome personality. We have referred her to multiple friends and will continue to do so! Thanks for everything Kristen! You rock!

Kristen is a true professional and is highly experienced. She is fantastic to work with, puts everyone at ease, and great in collaborating with all of the other wedding vendors. Kristen was AWESOME!!! Professional, fun, and super talented! She was great with our "pre ceremony" photos, coming up with tons of creative places for us to stand, but captured the candid as well as the posed. She was fantastic during the ceremony too, somehow without being "in the way" (I don't even remember seeing her!) she managed to take amazing, up close photos. And at the reception, she made sure to capture our special moments, as well as those of our guests! She really is just the best! I have friends that are photographers too, but for something as important as our wedding, there was no question who we wanted to hire!

Kristen Alexander is a professional of the greatest caliber. Her photography is absolutely magnificent. She seamlessly captured my duaghter's wedding flawlessly. The absolute BEST photographer! Kristen photographed my 8-hour scavenger hunt engagement and my wedding. Beyond being so attentive and fabulous, she made sure that every important detail down to the engraving inside our wedding bands was captured. Her artistic perspective was so cool and the moments she captured are priceless. I cannot thank her enough for providing the most special memories that will truly last a lifetime thanks to her skill, artistic perspective and amazing work ethic. Last but not least, she is so down to earth and the most fun to work with. She adapted to every variable and situation and captured everything!

Kristen and her sister Kim were and a breath of fresh air during a stressful yet exciting time. I had struggled with previous photographers not listening to what I was looking for, instead telling me what their vision was. My experience with Kristen was incredibly different. After a very frustrating search to find a photographer for my wedding, I was finally referred to Kristen through another photographer. I checked out her work on her site and contacted her immediately. She responded within an hour of my initial email (on a Sunday night) and I booked her the very next day. Kristen was absolutely wonderful. She was always quick to respond to any of my emails and was helpful in other areas of my wedding planning besides photography.

I am the type of person who hates having my photo taken and usually ends up with some cheesy smile on my face, but Kristen put me at ease. From the first time we met Kristen at our engagement shoot, she seemed like an old friend. She laughed and joked with us and was able to put me at ease.

The pictures from the engagement shoot, bridals, and wedding day turned out fabulously. She knew how to get the best shots out of us, and I didn't have any cheesy grins on my face! What was even more satisfying was that I had people comment after seeing Kristen's photos that they belonged in a bridal magazine!

Kristen does truly excellent work. You can tell she absolutely loves what she does. Honestly, I cannot say enough positive things about Kristen and her work. I would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat. And for any Mormon brides out there, Kristen was raised Mormon and understands the uniqueness of Mormon weddings with regards to the temple aspect.

Kristen Alexander was a joy to work with. I would not have had my perfect wedding experience without her. She was positive and calm, which made me laid back on my wedding day. She was extremely accommodating to my requests and went out of her way to get a shot I wanted. Kristen and her sister Kim were without a doubt the best vendor we worked with for my recent wedding. She was immediately responsive, flexible when my rehearsal dinner timing dictated she stay on several hours longer than contracted, and an absolute pleasure at every step.

Most importantly, the photos we've seen so far are incredible. We are thrilled with the output and the actual process could not have been easier. My husband had FUN taking the pictures - how many times have you actually heard a bride say that before? I cannot recommend Kristen Alexander photography more.

Kristen was an amazing part of our special day as the photographer at our wedding this past September. I was very nervous about the photographs as my now-husband is camera shy and does not tend to smile well when the camera clicks. Well, Kristen was able to get wonderful smiles out of him and even had him chasing butterflies around the botanical gardens ;-) She made the before and after pictures fun in a way that I did not realize they could be. And the pictures were fabulous and everything that I could have dreamed of. We are so grateful that we found her and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a fun, talented, and professional photographer.

So much fun and such beautiful photography! Kristen (and her sister, Kim) worked tirelessly and with such enthusiasm to capture all of the important moments for the wedding party and family during our entire wedding weekend at the Emory Conference Center Hotel in Decatur, GA. The Groom is a photographer himself and he cannot say enough wonderful things about Kristen and her work. The best part was viewing 21 photos of our event within 24 hours of the occurrence! We loved that! And the pictures were amazing!

After meeting with 7 different photographers, I knew that Kristen Alexander was truly the perfect photographer for our wedding! Choosing a wedding photographer was almost as important to me as deciding where to get married! Your wedding pictures are what you have for the rest of your life to remind you of your wedding long after the details have faded from your mind! After meeting with Kristen I knew automatically that I couldn't have anyone else shoot our wedding! She is the MOST professional yet fun and down to earth photographer & she fit in like she was a member of the bridal party--it was like having a friend at the wedding, not a photographer. Her eye for photography is amazing & she works extremely hard to give you something at your wedding that no one else has yet to have--I truly appreciated that because as a bride you want your day to be special and not like everyone else's day or pictures! Kristen did an amazing job on our engagement pictures, wedding pictures and we loved her so very much that she did our Christmas pictures as well :) She is not only an amazing and professional photographer but she truly loves her job and that makes a difference when you work with someone! Kristen Alexander provided EXCEPTIONAL service at my wedding this past April 16, 2011. I recently ordered multiple large photos for my family room, from my wedding, and they look amazing. So many people who have seen the photos ask who the photographer was. She captured the day to a tee! I look back at the pictures now and tear up as it has already almost been a year. She captures the emotions of me, my husband, and my family far more than I expected and better than most wedding photographers I have seen.
The quality of her work far surpasses many other local photographers. I interviewed 5 other companies and knew the minute I met her I wanted to work with her. She is flexible, cheerful and does the type or artistic work that I wanted out of my photographer. I had decided not to hire a video company because I wanted my photographer to be able to express the day through her photos. She did this and more.
She is extremely response, and very flexible. I certainly had special requests and she did what she could for all of my requests. She captured every single detail of the wedding that I requested and I felt like I had a friend taking my pictures at my wedding (which to me was important because it made me and my groom more comfortable -hence better pictures). It is VERY VERY important when choosing a photographer for the biggest day of your life that you are comfortable with them. Kristen will make you feel at home!!!
I would HIGHLY recommend her. You will not go wrong with Kristen!

Kristen and her sister did an AMAZING job for my wedding! I got married at Reynolds Plantation at Lake Oconee, and she was fun yet professional to be around. She was great at directing the wedding party "traffic" on where to go, how to stand, making you laugh, etc. She made the pictures stress free and very fun! Even at the reception, she was guiding us on how to cut the cake, the garter/bouqet toss, planning our exit, everything!!! The day after our wedding, my husband and I both agreed that Kristen was our saving grace. She is fantastic and my wedding experience would not have been the same without her! - Jodi Viau

Kristen Alexander is not only an incredible artist, but also a fabulous person! My husband and I loved getting to work with her for our engagement photos and wedding day. She is so laid back and fun to work with, and makes taking pictures SO EASY. She knows exactly what to tell you to do to make the pictures look flawless and, of course, professional. She was exactly what I was looking for on my wedding day. I wanted a photographer who would make me feel calm, relaxed and HAPPY; and Kristen was just that! My wedding planner was less than adequate (that's a different story), but Kristen and her sister, Kim, went as far as to help find my bouquet at the reception when the wedding planner was no where to be found! There are so many important details to plan for the wedding day, and every aspect comes together in brilliant concert to create the memories you will have for the balance of your life. But, there is no doubt that beyond the dress and the sentiment, there is nothing more important than the photographs of the day. Kristen Alexander was the perfect photographer. Rob and I could not have made a better choice. She captured the mood and the romance...everything we envisioned in our mind that the day would be! The album she put together was simply beautiful. Aside from the artisty and the resulting composition, working with Kristen was like having a friend in our midst. She had a calming presence, which is priceless on a day when your heart is racing for a million reasons, and worrying about your hired vendors should not be one of them.
