Kayce helped make our wedding day perfect. From the start, she was hands on and attentive. As a couple who were not totally sure what we wanted our wedding to look like at the beginning, Kayce held our hands us through some difficult decison making. She helped keep us on track through a brief but intense planning period, and - to get really specific - she did vital and tedious work chasing down our vendors for COIs (thinking about having to do this ourselves makes me nauseous).
Kayce also did amazing work putting together our beautiful floral arrangements that were the perfect touch to our woodsy winter wedding.
On the day of the wedding, Kayce made sure everything went smoothly. Everyone always says every wedding has that one thing that goes wrong, but everything went perfectly for us.
Kayce is passionate about getting the day right for her clients and we're so happy we worked with her. -

KR Occasions was recommended by a friend to us for a Day of Coordinator and we truly couldn’t have been pointed in a better direction. From the jump, Kayce helped us get organized, caught things we would’ve never known to look for and kept us on track to have the day of our dreams. She also was able to help us laugh and smile along the way, assuaging our pre-wedding anxieties and assuring us she would have it all under control. And that she did! She was both professional and thoughtful with everything she did, and my wife and I can’t thank her enough for helping to make our wedding day as great as it was. -

We hired Kayce for day or wedding coordination but she went above and beyond! She kept us on track for weeks leading up to the big day, asking the questions we forgot to ask, wrangling our venue when they were hard to reach, and making sure all the small details were covered from essentials kits in the bathrooms to a plan for handling over-served guests. Things we had not thought of at all. She was so organized and handled our day with great care and professionalism. -

I don’t think I could say enough good things about Kayce. She is so attentive with her work. She knows everything you need to make your day perfect, and she has it on hand through her inventory so you don’t have to do all the extra work! When things went a little crazy on my wedding day (I’m talking outdoor flooding, pop up tents blowing away, and a last minute ceremony location change), she handled everything with ease and grace! She was able to locate a shop vac to remove water, locate an additional tent set up, and coordinate everyone who was helping out to make my day happen! Things were absolutely perfect with Kayce in charge. I genuinely do not know what I would have done without her! 1000000% worth it to put your faith in her to make your day magical! -

Kayce was wonderful to work with as our day-of wedding coordinator. She not only made our wedding day run seamlessly but she also helped out quite a bit to keep us organized pre-wedding. She helped to vet all contracts and ensure we were considering all of the small details. Day of, I really didn’t have to worry about a thing and was able to just enjoy our day. I can’t imagine our wedding day without Kayce there to make sure everything went to plan. -

Kayce was our wedding weekend hero! She has been so incredible to work with in the planning process and on site and she truly went above and beyond. In the lead up, she'd take last minute calls with us as needed, and she dealt with challenges on site with grace, poise and efficiency. We had a family health emergency at our welcome party and Kayce handled it all, which is really beyond the scope and expectations for our planner. She simultaneously dealt with getting the emergency handled with the EMT, while also making sure my husband and I and our guests were cared for. She guided us on how to restart our party in a tasteful way and shared updates on the status of our family member (who thankfully is okay!). She stayed late with us as well to ensure we were emotionally okay and everything was running smoothly.
At our wedding, our venue / caterer didn't prepare enough food, and Kayce quickly handled getting more food locally to feed our guests. We had an issue with our buses making a return trip, and she even drove our guests home personally.
We could not recommend her more-- she is an absolute star and gem of a human and despite these challenges, made our wedding weekend so special! They were all handled so well we were not bothered and got to celebrate and be present, as she tackled them all for us. Hiring Kayce was the best decision! -

Weekend coordinator
KR occasions was very helpful in organizing and executing our entire weekend wedding. Kayce was excellent and made sure everything was exactly how we pictured it. She stayed at the estate for the entire weekend and helped to set up and break down a rehearsal dinner, reception, and brunch. She worked with all of our vendors on a timeline that was perfectly executed. Overall, hiring KR Occasions for our wedding took so much stress off of us and we were able to enjoy our event. -

Kayce was absolutely amazing! She was so on top of everything, which helped ease my nerves before the big day. I hired her as a day-of-coordinator, and I can't imagine the stress I would have been under if I didn't have her. She was very communicative and was great at handling last-minute issues that came up. I am extremely disappointed with my experience working with Kayce. She made the horrible mistake of DOUBLE BOOKING us and another couple for the same wedding venue/date. She took no accountability for her actions.
When we met her, she was the event/wedding manager at our venue. She left her position at our venue in Spring 2024. As our venue still required a day of coordinator, we hired her as our day of coordinator. This was a mistake, as we found out less than 3 months from our wedding that, while she was still employed at our venue, she DOUBLE BOOKED us and another couple for the same dates. To have this fall through the cracks for almost a full year is shocking, especially since remembering details such as dates, names, timing, etc is a key responsibility of her job.
She is very clumsy with details, and we have seen many other red flags while working with her. For example:
- She has missed scheduled calls and forgotten about rescheduled calls
- She did not notify us when she left her position at our venue
- There was no handover communication
- She has called my fiancé by the wrong name
- She spelled my last name wrong in our retainer contract for her services as our day of coordinator
- Our retainer contract contains grammatical errors
At the end of the day, she is no longer our day of coordinator, and our venue is handling the mess she left behind.
