Melanie is the best of the best, she is a true consummate professional who made our entire wedding planning process such a breeze. Melanie used her decades long experience to match us with the best vendors for our vision and to help us execute our dream day. She is responsive, professional, communicative, and extremely well connected (seriously, everyone in the industry knows her and loves her). I cannot emphasize enough how easy Melanie made the entire process. She kept us on track and eased any worries we had throughout the wedding process and on our big day. I’m so glad to be married but sad to do it only once because it means we can’t use Melanie again! -

If you're thinking about cutting corners or skipping out on a vendor to save money, do not let it be your wedding planner. Hiring Melanie was hands down one of the best decisions we made. She went above and beyond to make sure our day was flawless. She is incredibly responsive, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure. I truly can't imagine going through the planning process without her. Worth every single penny and then some. -

Absolutely Amazing
Mel is absolutely amazing to work with! She helped me bring my wedding vision to life, was super organized, and was cognizant of the budget that I needed to work when it came to vendor quotes. Mel has an eye for detail and had our wedding day timeline planned out perfectly! It made the day feel stress-free and I was able to enjoy the beautiful day with my favorite people. Mel is the best and I recommend her to anyone that wants an amazing, beautiful, and stress-free day! -

Melanie is a wedding necessity!
A wedding planner is not a want.. it's a need! We could not have had a more perfect wedding day, all because of Melanie. She took the stress away from planning such an important day and made it enjoyable for us and our family. You truly don't know what it takes to put on a wedding but Melanie does and she is amazing at that! Highly highly recommend! -

I hired Kimberly Rose Events and Melanie, the owner, a year before my wedding. I had never planned a wedding before and even though I am Organized , a Planner and Type-A I did not want to do it alone. Melanie is the best of the best and she was two steps ahead of me in planning, suggestions, organization and always thinking ahead. She set us up for so much success that the day of our wedding I could relax 100% knowing everything and every detail was taken care of. She is a great communicator, loving, kind and has been doing this for years. Don't hire anyone else! -

Mel and her team were amazing! Weddings can cause a lot of drama and they handled it so I didn't have to worry! 90 days out from the wedding, they took over everything and it took such a weight off my shoulders. The day of they made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. It rained almost the entire day and I told them I really wanted to have the ceremony outside - they made it happen and it was the best day of my life! I highly recommend using a wedding planner but these ladies went above and beyond! -

Melanie was invaluable to our wedding and the most wonderful person ever! And she is so passionate about what she does!! We had to postpone our wedding due to COVID and she fully supported us and helped make it so easy. She even went above and beyond and sent us a super sweet gift & note in the mail. We planned from another state and she was so flexible and met with us any time we were in town. We always looked forward to meeting because Melanie is such a fun and positive person who we loved chatting with but could also get down to business and cover everything we needed that was wedding related. When we made plans to visit, we would just let her know the dates and she would work with our vendors and schedule everything for us....THIS WAS SO HELPFUL. She also saved us from spending hours going down the rabbit hole of searching through endless vendors online and then handled all of the communication with those vendors. And the wedding day itself....we can't even fathom how we would have done it without her and her team. She worked tirelessly the entire time and literally orchestrated the entire day from set-up to clean-up while we (and our family/friends) got to just enjoy the day and show up! Our parent's were especially thankful that they could enjoy the moment/greet guests and not be worried about helping get things together. Throughout the entire process, any time we were feeling stressed or worried about something, Melanie was such a calming presence and always ensured us she would take care of it and everything would work out and be beautiful...and thanks to her it was. She totally understood our vision and pulled it off better than we could have imagined. We can't thank her enough!! -

Outstanding!
I cannot recommend Melanie Jannicelli highly enough. Melanie absolutely knows this business. She provided us with wonderful guidance and recommendations when contracting our vendors. She was always available to answer any questions. If she didn’t have the answer immediately, she followed up very quickly. She was totally on top of everything. I had no worries leading up to the wedding, and no worries day of. In addition to being amazing in her role as a wedding planner, Melanie also became a friend. She is kind, fun to be around and a really great person. You will absolutely love working with her. She is worth every penny! -

Melanie is an absolute dream to work with! We truly cannot say enough good things about her. As a new venue, Melanie really helped us to get our feet off the ground. Especially throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. She has been so helpful and supportive. We would honestly consider her apart of our team of outstanding vendors. She never turns down a challenge and is always willing to take on the crazy ideas we have up our sleeves. Where to start!! We moved to Colorado at the end of May after our original wedding had to be cancelled due to COVID. We started looking around at venues and once we settled on one they recommended a few planners. We had our first zoom call with Melanie and we knew she would be perfect to help us plan our dream day! She captured everything I had wanted and it was perfect! On our wedding day, she handled everything and coordinated with all of our other vendors and the day flowed smoothly and perfectly. They sent the wrong suit for our son and without any panic she let me know her assistant was driving him over to replace it ASAP (1 1/2 hours before go time!!). I couldn’t recommend anyone anymore- if you’re looking for a planner that truly knows what they are doing, Melanie’s your girl! -

Melanie is a top tier wedding planner whom I've known for a few years now (I'm a wedding photographer). She planned a wedding for a couple of mine at the St. Julien Hotel in Boulder, Colorado. Her attention to detail that day was extraordinary -- everything was in place, on time, and just as her clients had envisioned. She keeps the wedding day running smoothly and is super sweet and fun at the same time. I recommend her without reservation for any wedding that you're planning! -

One decision I would have never changed is hiring Melanie and her team at Kimberly Rose Events. Mel was extremely responsive to anything we needed or any questions we had. She was reliable. Kimberly Rose Events is THE best!
Melanie and all the girls at KRE are not only wonderful to work with but are wonderful people! Melanie was there with anything I needed and always answered my questions right away. Melanie gave me recommendations for all vendors such as florist, caterer, DJ, etc. She has worked with these vendors for a long time and knows many of them personally – which made my wedding day team professional and reliable. On my wedding day I didn't feel stressed in the slightest because I knew Melanie and her team had it all covered. If you are looking for a planner, definitely go with Kimberly Rose Events! -

Melanie is a dream to work with - so kind, passionate about her work and very knowledgeable about who the best wedding vendors are. We utilized all of Melanie's recommendations and resources and could not have been more pleased with the outcome for my daughter's wedding on June 1, 2019. All of the vendors we used were true professionals and we had so many wonderful comments on how beautiful and meaningful my daughter's wedding was. Melanie is a great communicator, very organized and took care of all the small details leading up to the wedding day and on the day of which was so wonderful. I did not have to worry about wedding day timelines and didn't look at the time once because I had full confidence in Melanie and her team in keeping everything flowing beautifully! I really was able to enjoy every detail of my daughter's wedding, which is priceless! I would highly recommend Melanie and Kimberly Rose Events for your wedding planner - such a ray of sunshine and such a delightful person to work with, especially when wedding planning can be stressful at times. Spectacular!
Melanie was our backbone and handled everything with utmost speed and precision. Any questions or changes that we had she took care them immediately. Our night went off without a hitch and was absolutely perfect. We often talk about wanting to go back! If it wasn’t for Melanie overseeing our day it would’ve been rough! I first met Melanie when she planned my sister's wedding. I was recently engaged and I knew right away that I wanted Mel to plan my wedding too! Through the whole process of planning our wedding, Melanie was supportive, creative and responsive. She helped us keep our timeline and stay within our budget. We even had to change our venue last minute and Melanie went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of. All of the vendors she recommended were incredible too! We are grateful for all of Melanie's support and hard work to help make our wedding everything we hoped and then some! When you work with Melanie you not only get an amazing wedding planner, you get to spend time with a really special person as well. She is the absolute BEST! -

She has great communication skills, she's very attentive to detail, creative, organized, and very enthusiastic. She has a way of staying calm even in the most hectic situations. On our wedding day, it rained so hard that several of our plans had to be adjusted last minute. Melanie seamlessly made all the necessary changes without any of our guests even noticing. She was very attentive and on our wedding day everything looked amazing. She was worth her weight in gold. If your looking for someone who knows what they are doing and want to stay in any budget she's your girl. That was the most important for me and she made sure we did. I simply cannot say enough good things about this company and its owner Melanie. -

Meeting Melanie at first, I loved her. I thought we had a lot in common, I thought she was super sweet and I thought we just cliqued, so I thought she’d be the perfect wedding planner. Looking back, she definitely had me fooled. I paid Melanie 3,000$ to plan my wedding. That’s a pretty penny. Funny thing is, I actually don’t remember anything she did. At first, she tried to be helpful, sending me florists I should go to. She actually sent me the option for one of the most expensive in Denver.... so I kindly declined that offer because it just wasn’t in the budget. I told her I can do my own flowers (I eventually ended up hiring somebody much more affordable) but Melanie kind of scuffed because I’m sure she missed a commission from the florist she recommended.
Flash forward to when I texted her throughout the process, 2 1/2 months before my wedding, she actually got married and was unable to communicate for an entire month... not sure why she would take on another bride if she can’t communicate so close to my wedding. But, again, I let that go and was still very nice.
I actually ended up blocking rooms out for my guests, finding my perfect dress shop, my food, florist, etc. I actually don’t remember her helping me do anything except telling me where to rent my rentals (even though I actually wanted to go vintage and provide a different glass plate, she said she didn’t “recommend” that) lol.
Finally, the rehearsal and wedding day. After I had Melanie send out an email to the guests at the rehearsal not to be late- guess what!!!! We all stood in the heat for 35 min because the wedding planner-MELANIE was late! A lot of the guests were appalled at how much I spent for her and how she was late and didn’t even apologize when she eventually pulled up.
Finally the cake topper, the wedding day.
She brought her assistant (who you have to pay to eat and for service too, be prepared) and she was not the nicest to me, but I didn’t let that bother me.. what did bother me was... MELANIE NEVER PUT OUT MY GUEST BOOK. I found out after the wedding and was pretty hurt. Also, her trusted assistant who was supposed to be the best dress bustler, didn’t bustle by dress correctly and I have ample photos of it completely askew... awesome! Lastly, she canceled our goodbye ride for the night because “it was taking too long” and my new husband and I drove back to our hotel with my mom!
Basically, I paid 3,000$ for my guest book not to be put out, for her to be late to my rehearsal, to ride home from my wedding with my mom because our wedding planner couldn’t be patient, for my dress not be bustled, and me to do absolutely everything.
I waited months to do this review so I could just calm down because that’s how furious I was! I loved my wedding and my sweet husband, but this is something I will NEVER forget. I’m not usually a high maintence person, but this was my wedding day and I spent SO much $$ on her and she did NOTHING.
Please save your money and your time, this girl truly manipulated me into thinking we were friends and then just screwed me out of my money.
