Best wedding decision

It's impossible to express just how thankful my husband and I are for Kimberly. We could not have planned our dream beach wedding from out of state without her!! She was incredibly responsive and communicative, super organized and on top of everything, and a wealth of knowledge and experience. She will be the BEST and MOST WORTH IT decision of your entire wedding - can't recommend enough!!

A true expert at wedding planning!

We hired Kimberly way back in 2019 as our wedding planner when we decided to get married in Florida. Our entire family lives up North, so we had no clue where to start when it came to venues and vendors. Originally we worked with Ashley before COVID, but after postponing a whole year, Kimberly took us under her wing. Kimberly is straight forward, fun, and truly cares about her bride and grooms vision coming to life. If it's possible to execute, she'll make it happen - explaining what to expect without the fluff, which I really appreciated. There can be so much drama and stress surrounding a wedding and she really helps you keep things in perspective and encourages you to make the wedding what you & your partner want it to be! Planning a huge event like this takes a lot of hard work and I knew I didn't have to worry about anything slipping through the cracks with her in charge. I still felt extremely involved with all of the decisions like I had wanted, but didn't have to think about what was coming next and could really just be in the moment with each part of the process - this made planning SO fun! If you're searching for a planner look no further - she won't disappoint and helped us create a stunning, magical, fairytale wedding people are still talking about today! I get teary eyed just looking at how everything came together perfectly!

Kimberly, Brittney, and team are extremely professional and know how to make an incredible event happen. The planning before the event was very thorough and when the unexpected happened (as it always does) day of, Brittney was on top of everything. Highly recommend!

The most amazing planners EVER

First of all, if you are looking for a reliable, amazing, real, and trustworthy planner for your big day, STOP LOOKING RIGHT NOW AND HIRE KIMBERLY HENSLEY EVENTS. Let me start by saying I was completely burned by a less than reputable "wedding planner" prior to hiring Kimberly and her team. Money was stolen from me, I was lied to and ended up having to go to court over it all to get my money back (all during planning my wedding... super stressful.) So needless to say, I was extremely skeptical about other wedding planners and who to hire after all that mess. I got a good vibe from Kimberly instantly and she showed genuine compassion for what I was going through and was very much so honest and to the point with our first conversation. She stayed that way throughout the process. Ashley, who was my actual wedding day planner was just AMAZING in so many ways. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better wedding day planner. She was so real and COOL to be around and deal with. Kimberly and Ashley both were SUPER patient with me when I had my moments of panic or overreaction during the planning process and were SUPER helpful with advice regarding decisions I was having trouble making myself. I just absolutely loved these two and was sooo grateful to have found them. There is a reason they have been voted best planners over and over again. On wedding day, Ashley was like having a bestie by my side having my back through everything. Through all the minor issues and annoyances, she was so fiercely supportive and amazing. There were a few issues that took place throughout the night that were handled by her without me ever even knowing until afterward, which in my opinion was very professional and absolutely how it should be. All in all, this team is exactly what I needed for the best day of my life. I will recommend them a thousand times over until I'm blue in the face. Hire this company, you will NOT be disappointed.

Beyond Perfection !

My husband and I got married on 12.07.19. We decided to choose Kimberly and her team for wedding planning. I worked with Britney Crespo from Jan 2019 to December 2019 and she was great ! I like to have things planned out and I did not want to tackle my wedding day all by myself. Of course, family offered to help however I wanted us all to enjoy the process and that day without a worry :) Kimberly and Brittney did not disappoint and did just that ! They were both so quick to respond and Brittney literally answered every single little question the whole year.

Brittney eased my worries throughout the whole process and with her guidance and expertise, asked me questions to think about that I did not even consider to help make my day special. She also helped me so much with the decor . I had an idea of what I wanted for an elegant beach wedding but she was was the one that put my inspiration to life. I am also so thankful for Brittney as my venue switched venue coordinators (three different ones throughout the year and one two weeks before the big day). I felt more comfortable with Brittney as she helped ensure all the details were passed over and reviewed it with the venue.

Our wedding day was absolutely beyond perfect as the day was even better than I could have imagined ! I've been told by others not to expect perfection on my wedding day as things may go wrong that are out of my control. I have to say, my day went without a glitch and I have Kimberly and Brittney to thank for that ! The money towards wedding planning was so worth it and is really priceless. Beyond amazing!

Kimberly blew me away. I struggled a lot with trusting people during planning my wedding and I had a very specific vision. She went above and beyond what I was hoping for as my planner. She completely helped me execute my vision and connected me with the most amazing vendors. At one point during my reception, I asked if she had a hair tie and she without thinking ripped the one out of her hair she was wearing, thats just who she is. She goes above and beyond for her brides and to make their vision come to life!

Day-Of Wedding Planner

We hired Brittney Crespo as our day-of wedding planner through Kimberly Hensley Events. Although she is considered a “day-of” planner, she checks in with you several months prior to the wedding to ensure you are on the right track with planning.

Brittney was always very organized with writing down our plans/ideas and understanding our vision. She brought up logistics/concepts/questions I would not have thought about myself. We shared google docs to keep our ideas organized/easy to reference.

She was very helpful with examining all of our vendor’s contracts and making sure everything lined up with our plans. She made sure all of our vendors requests/needs were met for their set-up.

Brittney made sure our day ran smoothly from start to finish. She worked closely with the banquet captain of our venue prior to and during the wedding day. I was never stressed or worried on my big day. We were thrilled with how our wedding turned out and would recommend Brittney to anyone planning a wedding or other event.

Couldn’t Have Planned My Wedding Without Then!

I wasn’t sure whether I needed a wedding planner for my wedding, but after talking to Kimberly Hensley for the first time over the phone I felt like it was necessary. Kimberly gave me advice on changing my wedding date during our initial phone call (before I even hired her), which ultimately saved my wedding. Kimberly was already committed to another wedding the weekend of my wedding, so she suggested her lead planner Brittney. Brittney is incredibly sweet, friendly and easy to talk to. She’s also super organized and knowledgeable. She was patient with my indecisiveness and I valued her opinion on pretty much every wedding detail. Kimberly was also very involved in my planning, which I thought was extremely thorough. They both attended my meetings with the venue and florist, which was very helpful. It was invaluable to know every step of the way that Brittney and Kimberly had everything under control and that I did not need to worry about anything. They were extremely communicative and easy to reach when I had questions. The wedding went off without a hitch, I got so many compliments from friends and family about how perfect everything was. Brittney was calm, cool and collected the day of my wedding, which in turn made me more at ease. Brittney and Kimberly are the perfect combination of professional and fun. They were on top of their game every step of the way, but at the same time I felt like they were friends of mine helping me! KHE was worth every penny and I would highly recommend their services.

The best!

If want your wedding day to truly be the best day of your life, you need to hire Kimberley Hensley Events!!! Brittney was an absolute dream to work with, and I know my wedding would not have been as amazing as it was without her. I started working with Brittney about 2 months out, and she went above and beyond to make sure everything was being taken care of. She was so on top of everything, that my wedding planning stress immediately melted away once I started working with her. She was so detail-oriented, professional, organized, and on top of that such a joy to work with. She was extremely responsive and would answer all of my questions quickly (and there were always a lot), and always made me feel at ease. She even sent me the CUTEST wedding guest book alternative when I told her I was still looking for one, and it was an absolute hit with our guests. When we got to do a first look of our reception space, I was BLOWN away--everything was exactly how I wanted it and truly beyond my wildest dreams. She made the transitions on the wedding day effortless, and she made sure we were always comfortable and having fun. The value you get out of hiring her is ten fold. Brittney is simply AMAZING!!! Incredible Planner!

From the moment we talked to Kim on the phone, we knew she was going to be incredible and that we would be in good hands. As two busy working people planning an out of state wedding from Boston to Florida, we were thrilled to have the peace of mind that everything would be covered and no details would slip through the cracks! Some favorite things about Kim: 1) she is INCREDIBLY organized, and her process is streamlined to make you feel extremely secure throughout each stage of planning 2) she's fun, hilarious, and makes what can at times be a stressful/annoying process really enjoyable 3) she is incredibly supportive of your vision for the day and will fully deliver on it (and then some!)..... Perfect Planner!

They say that the universe brings you exactly what you need, just when you need it and that's what it felt like when I first connected with Kimberly. After finding her information through a venue my fiancé and I were considering, I made the initial phone call just looking for some basic information and knew immediately that she had to be our wedding planner!

As a busy professional and a bride who had absolutely no idea what I wanted or what putting together a wedding would entail, Kimberly was an amazing partner for me and my fiancé. Her planning process is simple to complete, yet provided us the opportunity to develop a unique event that completely reflected our relationship and celebrated the life we are creating together. Her process helped my fiancé and I to articulate exactly what we wanted our wedding weekend to feel like for our family and friends and the end result was perfection!

Thanks to Kimberly's suggestion we found an amazing venue that we would never have considered. She listened to everything that was important to us and matched us perfectly with every vendor along the way. She was accommodating to my busy schedule and found ways to keep us on track to our timeline and our budget without seeming overbearing.

Kimberly did such a great job of getting to know us and helping us identify what we wanted for the event that every decision we made through the process seemed so easy - from catering to flowers - her eye for detail was spot on and brought things to life I never could have imagined.

Leading up to the wedding she gave me great advice on how to handle everything and made sure that I had nothing to worry about during the event except enjoying every moment. On the day of the rehearsal Kim made sure all of our wedding party and families were clear on how the ceremony should flow and we were able to have a wonderful time at our rehearsal dinner with no stress!

When the wedding day came she coordinated a complete transformation of the venue, managing all of the vendors, rentals, caterers, lighting, etc. We turned a beautiful beach house into a glittering magical dream wedding complete with Tiffany Blue and silver accents, a bacon bar, live musician, and a party that our family and friends will be talking about for years. We had many guests tell us it was the best wedding they have ever attended!

Just Amazing

Honestly, there are not enough words to describe how amazing Kimberly is. From our very first phone conversation to our fun texts after the wedding, Kimberly has been an absolute dream. About 5 minutes into our first phone conversation, I knew she was the planner for me, she was/is organized, easy to talk to you, and just perfect. Before Kimberly the thought of planning a wedding in Florida from NYC seemed like the most daunting and stressful thing ever, but she made the entire wedding planning process, dare I say it…fun! Kimberly makes you a personalized wedding timeline that lays everything that needs to be done in a not overwhelming way and makes every wedding task tangible. From her spreadsheets, documents, and pinterest boards, everything is seamless and nothing slips through the cracks. Every 1st of the month, she checks in and makes sure everyone is on the same page and to make sure the Bride isn’t going crazy yet ;-) Kimberly always answered emails, texts, and phone calls, regardless of how crazy my questions were. Our wedding day was the absolute best day of our life and we 100% owe it all to Kimberly. From the rehearsal where she was informative to our family and bridal party, the day of the wedding, the ceremony was seamless, she turned the ballroom into my dream come true, and the entire day/night was magical. When I first contacted Kimberly Hensley events I was told that she was unavailable and I'd need to with Brittney. I was disappointed at first but little did I know that she would be a Godsend! Brittney was the single most instrumental factor of the success of our wedding. She was meticulous, organized and knowledgeable. She was able to answer every question we had, recommend ideas and execute our plans. The decision making process was made easier with her prior experience of the areas vendors. Brittney brought our vision to life! We are beyond thankful for her guidance and would use her for any event we had moving forward.

I'm not sure where to even begin this review because nothing I can write will even come close to explaining how much Kimberly did for our wedding, how much we loved everything she did, and how thankful we are for her. If you're reading this, you're probably looking for a wedding planner, as was I in Feb. 2017. After speaking to a handful, I spoke to Kimberly and my decision was easily made. She was kind, friendly, confident, and understanding of the fact that at the time my fiance and I were in the middle of 6 months living 1,000 miles apart and that I was in the middle of a graduate program. Kimberly and I spent 14 months planning my wedding. Each month we received a checklist of what would be done that month and if my travel or school schedule required us to move things up or push things back, we did! Kimberly provided us with several vendors in each category and was open to our suggestions from vendors we've heard good things about as well. She worked her magic and absolutely stayed within our budget which was very important to us. She understood and constantly kept in mind what was important to me and what was less important. She gave us the independence to make our own decisions but was 1000% available for every question and to talk us through some of the harder choices to make. Her experience in the area and in the industry is unmatched. The vendors she provided us with and the decor she crafted for the day of was 100% on point. All of our guests had a blast, ate well, and complimented us on the flowers. Most importantly, Kimberly made wedding planning a positive, enjoyable experience. I have had so many friends who look back on their wedding planning as a terrible and stressful experience and I am so glad my experience was different - all thanks to Kim.

I honestly don’t know how to begin to thank Kimberly for planning our wedding! Living in Maryland and having our wedding in Florida seemed like an impossible feat before talking to Kimberly. For an entire year, she was in contact with us by phone, email, text and even Skype! She is so personable, enthusiastic and truly an expert in her field. Throughout the entire process, Kimberly kept our minds at ease - from finding our perfect venue, to assisting my husband with selecting his suit, to fully understanding my dream to have a “cocktail style” reception, (which even my husband was wary about, at first!) to ensuring every last detail on our wedding day and even putting away all of our DIY decorations in our suite at the end of the night. We also appreciated her genuine honesty. She truly listened and worked with all of our ideas - no matter how far fetched they may have seemed. Even though we had our own ideas about how we wanted our wedding to look, we truly valued her opinions, such as what lighting would look the best in a tent or if the color pallet for my bridesmaids’ dresses would complement the groomsmens’ suits. Kimberly’s opinion was the first person whose opinion I sought on that matter and her assurance that wood bow ties would look stunning, was ‘ dead-on’. I know it sounds so cheesy, but literally all of my hopes and dreams of how I envisioned my wedding came true! As for our budget Kimberly stuck to it and made sure to give us options within it. She kept our shared budget google document up to date so that there were no surprises when it came time to make payments. Her schedules made the process manageable. My husband and I never felt overwhelmed by any of numerous large and smal, details that go into planning a wedding because Kimberly took the time to organize every detail for us. Every month, she would send us a check-list of what we should expect to accomplish and what to look forward to in the coming months. To say that Kimberly was ‘fantastic’

No words to explain our gratitude for Kimberly and the unforgettable wedding she planned for us! Despite the stresses of planning a destination wedding, Kimberly made our minds at ease and made the planning process so easy for us. The year and a half of planning was nothing but excitement and anticipation because of the organization she had throughout the entire process. Kimberly always answered us promptly and made sure we felt connected and reassured during the planning. From the clearly laid out timelines to detailed checklists, all details were brought to us so we never felt unprepared. Kimberly Hensley is the real MVP of wedding planners!! We had Kimberly plan our wedding from start to finish. She is hands down the greatest planner ever. She is very organized and helps keeps you organized throughout the entire process. She is very knowledgeable about vendors and Venues in the area. She seems to know everything and everyone. Every vendor we used for our wedding we absolutely loved and were in our budget. At the end of the whole process I felt like I could tell anything to Kim and felt like she became a one of my good friends. Kimberly is a wedding planner who sticks with you every step of the way. She's your advocate and her objective is to ensure that you have the wedding you want - and she drives you and your team to actualize that vision.

She worked with us for a year-and-a-half and was always available for questions, meetings - she structured our planning such that it minimized stress and we created the wedding day & evening of our dreams.

The word that comes to mind when I think of Kim? Lifesaver. I could NOT have done this without her. My then-fiance (now hubby) and I are both from Florida, but live in Washington, DC. We knew we wanted our wedding down south, but weren't sure how to make all of our wedding dreams come true while also juggling a 900 mile difference between us and the venue and our high-stress, long-hour jobs in politics and communications. In comes Kim! I knew from the moment I first spoke to her that she was one. She came off as competent, organized, down to earth, honest, and someone who gets sh*t done. Just how I like it! Throughout the entire 18 month planning period, Kim kept us on-time and on-budget, and was so helpful and flexible when we would have last minute work and family emergencies that kept us from our portion of the planning process. If you have any hesitation about hiring Kim as your planner - stop wondering and just do it. It'll be the best decision you make throughout the whole process and is worth every penny. Plus, she has one heck of an eye for pretty details :) 5 stars!

She was so real and honest and cut to the chase - I LOVED IT! I felt 100% confident in her abilities from day 1 and she didn't disappoint. I was of the impression that wedding planners are for people who just have too much money and didn't want to deal with wedding planning at all--it's basically just an unrealistic expense to spend in an already greedy industry. That is until I got engaged--and I began trying to plan a wedding in St. Pete while living in DC. Cue my first panic attack and I furiously began googling wedding planners--basically wanting to test the waters. Kimberly Hensley kept popping up in my search so I figured ok I'll give her a call, see what this is all about. I was converted the moment I began talking to her. Then my mom called because she was also skeptical--and an hour later my mom calls back and says she's hired. Having her on board was the absolute 100% best decision we ever made during the planning process. You can be as involved or not involved you want in planning. We were very involved but she still pulled a TON of leg work.

One of the best perks about Kim is she provides us a list of all preferred vendors (within our budget!!). Speaking of budgets, the other perk--and honestly the #1 reason to hire her besides the day of coordination--she works out a budget for you and seriously helps you stick with it. She lets you know what is realistic when it comes to spending your money on certain things. We stayed in budget... which is unheard of! We also got little perks from vendors because they came recommended from her. You can text/email/call any time--she is very responsive!

As for the day of, everything went seamless (at least on my end). I've been in a LOT of weddings, and you can really tell the difference between weddings that are just done by the couple and ones with day-of coordinators/planners. If you're googling a planner, you clearly know the benefits of one... just do yourself a favor and just call Kim already! And if you're worried about the price--it really wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be and she was worth every single penny.

Where do I begin with all the wonderful things I can say about our experience with Kimberly…We did not originally plan on hiring a wedding planner, but soon realized we knew nothing about planning a wedding. Kimberly came highly recommended by my mom’s coworker. After a quick phone conversation with her, not only did I want her to help plan my wedding, but I also wanted to be friends with her. From the moment we hired her, the planning was stress-free and actually enjoyable. Choosing vendors was a breeze. She would give us a handful of options for each vendor that were available for our wedding day and within our budget. We knew that we could not make a bad decision because she had already vetted them all.
We planned our wedding with Kimberly from a far (we live in Washington DC) in about 6 months. We never would have been able to pull off the perfect wedding she delivered on our own and with our sanity intact. She was able to take our very conceptual vision and turn it into a dream come true. She was honest about what our budget would get us and kept us in line with our timeline and budget throughout the process. She was always reachable to answer questions and provide her expertise whenever needed.
Our wedding day was absolutely perfect! The day flowed seamlessly. We could not have dreamed of a better wedding day. Our guests were so impressed with every element of our wedding (venue, food, flowers, décor, etc.). At the end of the night before our grand exit, I said to her, “if anything went wrong, I didn’t know about it.” To which she responded, “Nothing went wrong!” Everyone warned me that something would go wrong. Well with Kimberly, everything went exactly as planned. This is why you hire a wedding planner. But do not hire just any wedding planner, hire Kimberly Hensley.

Even as a destination bride, I never imagined having a wedding planner. Sunset Beach Resort, Siesta Key, FL, provided Kimberly's contact information, and one other planner, for more information on weddings held at the venue. After an introductory discussion with Kimberly, and Instagram/ internet researching, I KNEW hiring Kimberly was the absolute best option.
My goal for our wedding planning was to be stress-free and to ENJOY the process. Kimberly's planning process made me look forward to each month's "To Do" email. She answered emails/ telephone calls promptly and answered millions of my (sometimes stupid) questions with honesty. She provided vendors that were right on budget, slightly below, and slightly higher and would explain the advantages of each, making decision making seem easy. Furthermore, I knew if Kimberly was recommending vendors they were going to be amazing (and up to her caliber).
In addition, while developing our decor concept, I relied on Kimberly to take the lead. Although I had a general idea of how I wanted our venue to look and feel, I did not have any concept of the details. I trusted Kimberly. I knew her style, loved her taste, and knew she would create the most beautiful setting (which I'm sure took her a lot of time and energy to create with minimal ideas from the bride)! The outcome was more beautiful that I could have ever imagined.
Above all was Kimberly's KILLER support and coordinating skills during the week and day of our wedding. With Hurricane Hermine hitting the gulf coast 2 days prior to our wedding day and a power outage on the day of, Kimberly coordinated effectively and improvised as necessary. Although I'm sure both situations were stressful on her end, I fed off her positive energy and remained calm.
I feel as if any review does not suffice for my sincere appreciation for Kimberly Hensley. She is the best in in the biz and hiring her was HANDS DOWN the best decision I made the entire planning process!

Kimberly is a real gem! She is so wonderful to work with. She understood exactly what we wanted for our wedding and did everything she could to work with me and get it all done, with perfection. You can tell that she absolutely loves what she does and is amazing at it. She was born to make events marvelous, organized, tasteful, and extremely memorable. It was truly a pleasure to work with her on the most special day of our lives. Thank you, Kimberly. Just keep doing what you do, and rocking it out every step of the way!

When I started planning my wedding, I did not expect to get a planner. About 2 months in it was my mom who suggested we look into getting one. Kimberly had been recommended to her by a couple friends so she asked me to at least talk to her. After 2 minutes of that phone call I told my mom we HAD to have her. Kimberly was without a doubt the best investment we made in the entire wedding process. She helped me step by step with what to do, when to do it, provided suggestions and opinions when asked, and advice on working with other vendors. She has AMAZING taste and is up to date on ways to do different things. That came in handy when I had an idea and didn't know exactly how to execute it. It was also very nice to have someone reassuring you that you are on track with everything, because if you have never planned a wedding before you have no idea what should be happening when.

Something I really appreciated was how organized and professional Kimberly was in understanding how to deal with vendors. Finding all of your vendors is made 10X easier when you have a professional providing you with their personal recommendations. (I ended up loving all of my vendors.)

The day of my wedding was flawless. I am a control freak and was a little nervous about how I would do letting go of being in charge on the actual wedding day... let me tell you not once did I worry about a single thing. She was completely in control, making sure everything went without a hitch.

I had a vision for my wedding and Kimberly helped me bring it to life. My wedding would not have been as beautiful as it was without her help. If I had to share one recommendation to someone who just got engaged regardless of how much you have planned or how much help you want, it would be to HIRE A PLANNER (and do yourself a favor just hire Kimberly because I am completely convin

Kimberly was absolutely AMAZING! From our initial meeting, she understood our vision and what we wanted for our wedding. She helped us with every aspect of our wedding and had so many great ideas and suggestions. She handled all the vendors and helped us pick out the vendors that fit our personalities and wedding the best. We loved everyone we worked with that day! She was so organized and on top of everything.
My family is a bit crazy and she handled them so great. She made sure everything ran smoothly and perfect the day of. It couldn't have went more perfect.
My husband was a bit on the fence about hiring a planner for our wedding. He thought we could handle everything. Once the wedding came he agreed that we could have NEVER done it without her. It would have been such a mess if we didn't have Kimberly. We had absolutely no stress or worry that day and that is exactly how every bride and groom should feel on their wedding day.
I would recommend her to everyone!! My biggest piece of advice for future brides would be to hire a planner and make sure it's Kimberly!!

I can't imagine what I would have done without Kimberly!! I never imagined that I would hire a wedding planner when I got engaged, but reality set in and my fiancé and I realized we had no idea where to start. Yes, we knew we needed a photographer, a caterer, flowers, but no one tells you there a million things you need to know before you hire those people. I had plenty of friends that said that we could do this without a planner because they did it, but then I remembered how stressed my friends were and how disorganized some of their weddings were. My fiancé and I knew we did not want that so we decided to invest in a planner. We did our research and met with a few planners and then met Kimberly. She was everything we had read she would be. We immediately knew she was the planner for us. We set forth on our planning with Kimberly by our side. Every step of the way Kimberly provided the best, the VERY best vendors, vendors we would have never known existed, she kept us organized with a handy calendar and kept us on track with our budget. I know that we would have gone over budget with out Kimberly's guidance. Fast forward to our wedding day. It was beyond perfect; the timing, the vendors, the organization, the flow...you name it. It was beyond a magical day for us. We didn't worry about one detail of the day. We had so much fun planning with Kimberly, she really keeps things light and is funny. She knows how to keep brides (and their mothers) calm. She is unbelievably knowledgeable, knows everyone in the industry and has the best connections. Girls......you are crazy not to hire a planner to help you with your wedding. Planners are worth their weight in gold so if you think you can't afford one (we had a budget under $30K) or you think you can do this on your own you should pick up the phone and call Kimberly. There aren't words to describe how PERFECT Kim was for planning our wedding. I was an out-of-state bride that had NO CLUE what I wanted my wedding to be like (my husband had no idea either!). We didn’t have the largest budget, but knew we needed a planner to avoid being miserable during the 1 year planning process.

Throughout the planning process, she found us AMAZING vendors within our prices range, allocating more of our budget to the things that mattered most to us (like photography). Every single one of our vendors were exceptional. She handled all the coordinating with them.

Her keen eye for design was apparent on our wedding day. I told Kim, here's $X for a budget, decorate as you wish! The day of, worked at the speed of light to make our wedding venue look like it came out of a bridal magazine. My husband and I, and our families, were able to relax and enjoy the morning of. It still felt like 'our' wedding because we were involved with her ideas along the way, but so much less stressful.

Day-of and during the rehearsal, she was a godsend. Everything from floofing my dress before I walked down the aisle, to bringing us drinks before we entered the reception to dealing with some rather startling hiccups during the festivities, she ensured that my husband and I were as carefree as possible and had the best night of our lives.

Kim was everything my husband and I could have wanted in a wedding planner and more. She was punctual during meetings, kept up with a wonderful timeline, kept us within budget, was extremely knowledgable, creative, down-to-earth, and GETS STUFF DONE. Seriously don't even think twice about hiring her!

I cannot express fully how much Kimberly meant to us. You know how when you are young you imagine your dream wedding and hope it one day comes true? Well, all I can say is that I had that and so much more thanks to all the time, hard work and energy from Kimberly Hensley. She truly made a dream come true. She always was available to discuss wedding ideas and planning items. No question was too big or small to discuss with her. She went above and beyond so many times in the wedding planning process I can not thank her enough. People always say there is something that goes wrong on your wedding day. Truth be told, if that happened I would never know because she handled everything so expertly. I feel so lucky and blessed that I found Kimberly ahead of time for our wedding, our wedding was one for a lifetime thanks to her.

Kimberly is amazing. Actually, amazing isn't good enough to describe her! If I could give you 100 stars I would. When I got engaged I knew from the start that I wanted Kimberly as my coordinator She is a popular one, so I worked with her to find a date and venue that fit her schedule. :-) it was important to choose a date that she also had open. haha
What makes kimberly so amazing is her kind soul. She genuinely cares about her brides. She is also extremely knowledgeable about the industry. Each and every wedding she had is amazing. I am a wedding planner myself but I knew I wanted and needed a planner to handle everything the day of the wedding. Kimberly was the only person I trusted for this prestigious role. ;-) Kimberly was not only my day of coordinator but was also my savior! I was planning my wedding from Indiana so I reached out to Kimberly a number of times for advice and she was there to help every time.
The day of my wedding was the best day of my life, and much of that is because of Kimberly. People kept asking me if I was nervous and I kept telling them no, because I knew Kimberly had everything under control. I was able to relax and have complete trust because of Kimberly. I can not thank her enough.
If there is one thing I can recommend to every bride, it is to HIRE A WEDDING PLANNER!!!! Your wedding is the biggest day of your life, why would you ever want to take risky chances and put your stress and peace of mind in jeopardy?! And if you are smart, you will hire Kimberly. :-)

I knew Kimberly would be a good choice for us and our wedding planning/coordinating needs, but was blown away by how she absolutely CRUSHED it on our wedding day! Who has time for paragraphs? This is my 'Kimberly Best Of List':
- She responds to your calls, texts, and emails lightning fast. Does this woman sleep?
- She knows all the vendors and caterers and venues, so don't stress it, if you want to see it/try it/hear it/feel it/envision it, she can make it happen.
- She will put up with question after question and not make you feel like a bimbo for asking -- which is HUGE; when someone hears you out, calms your nerves, and answers sincerely and confidently and validates your concerns and at the same time squashes them, you have found the right person to work with.
- She has tricks up her sleeves and makes magic happen.
- She is the queen of timelines and details and logistics. Very important. As someone who has planned many events, I get a bit giddy when I get to work with someone else who has it together and can slam out a well-planned and organized event. She. Doesn't. Miss. A. Thing.
- She will joke with you and keep things light and fun, but will also keep it real.
- She works tirelessly on the day of your wedding to make sure everything is in place, on time, and as perfect as you imagined it.
- She is the bride and groom's advocate.
- She helps you focus on the things that are important on your wedding day.
- You feel comfortable and completely taken care of knowing Kimberly has the plan and will put it in action.

I've been excited to write this review since my wedding day. If you were like me shortly after I got engaged, I thought that planning a wedding could not possibly be that difficult and that a wedding planner was an expense I could do without. I'm sure I could have done it on my own, but not with the happiness and sanity that I did alongside Kimberly. She truly is such a partner in the process. She helped me plan a beautiful, magical day without the stress that I so often hear about. She has a knack for understanding what you want and/or helping you decide what it is you actually want. The things that I prioritized, she prioritized. She was always, always available, which was amazing. On the day of, when rain threatened to put a damper on my entirely outdoor wedding, she kept me calm and smiling because I knew that she had it covered. All I had to do was enjoy my husband, family and friends, and I did. She helped me execute what I can safely say was the happiest day of my life and I don't know how to thank her enough. Dear Lord...where do I start?!?! Early on in the planning process I realized that I may have it all together professionally but when it came to planning a wedding I was a mess and all over the place and couldn't make a decision to save my life. Enter Kimberly Hensley. From my first email conversation with her I KNEW she was the perfect planner for me...and my now hubby knew it too and hired her on the spot as a wedding present! BEST WEDDING PRESENT EVER!!!! First of all, she's cool, honest and direct! My kind of lady!! Kimberly walked me through every decision and narrowed my choices down and consistently helped me get out of my own way through the entire process. Literally every vendor I chose that she recommended was beyond amazing and more than I ever expected.
She kept me stress free and confident and when the day finally came I had a sense of peace that I didn't think would be possible on my wedding day. She worked her butt off to ensure everything I had envisioned came to reality and even more so! I keep describing our special day as perfect, and it really was! And I KNOW without a doubt it was because Kimberly had our back the entire time and there was no way it could have been anything but perfect. As much as I'm trying, I know I'm falling flat in this review because there simply are not words to describe how much she did for me and how much my husband and I both will always appreciate her. Hiring Kimberly to be my wedding planner was the single best decision that I made in the wedding planning process. I shopped around before choosing Kimberly and the choice became obvious after speaking with her. She was so down to earth, making you feel like you have known her for years, but yet very straight forward on what the process was going to be like. Her organization was incredible, making you feel at ease that no detail was ever going to be forgotten. I was a out of town bride and also in the middle of a major move so I literally could not have planned this wedding without her! She makes you feel relaxed, or as relaxed as you can be in the process and truly makes it enjoyable for the bride. From beginning to end, she does it all! She treats your wedding as if it was her own wedding and makes you feel special, which is incredible with the amount of weddings that she does every year. She was able to take my vision and help it become a reality. My day was perfect and it was largely because of her!! I would recommend her to anyone!!

Where do we begin about Kimberly? She is cunning, edgy and real. She is your advocate and friend. Stylish and hilariously smart. Not for the average bride. She thrives on the non traditional and will focus on the emotional necessities of your special day. My wedding day was so relaxed because I knew she was there. I miss her so much now that I'm married. It was an instant connection and any bride should be so lucky to have her as their planner. My husband, who was originally skeptical of wedding planners, misses her, as well and said it was our best decision in all of our planning.

If I could give any piece of advice to a bride it would be to GET A WEDDING PLANNER! Besides saying yes to my wonderful husband, saying yes to choosing Kimberly as my wedding planner was the best decision I ever made about my wedding. She helped to manage the finances, picking out details, keeping everything on an efficient time line, organizing all the vendors, and managing the wedding day. She was honest, thoughtful, available when I needed, and I now consider her a friend. All of the vendors that I used were because of her recommendations and they were all top of the line. I have nothing but happy memories of the wedding planning and the wedding itself and that's how every bride should feel after there wedding is over. I definitely recommend Kimberly Hensley Events for any bride looking for a great wedding planner with a sophisticated and elegant eye for details.

I cannot say enough great things about Kimberly! She made the wedding process so easy and non stressful. I had my wedding in St. Pete's beach and since I'm not from the area Kimberly helped me select all of the vendors and helped pick out the venue. The florist, DJ, violinist, hair and makeup person etc. were all amazing. Kimberly was able to take my vision of the wedding and make it even better. She is responsive, professional and incredibly knowledgeable.

Kimberly was there the day of the wedding to organize everything and make sure the timeline was perfect. I didn't have to worry about anything so I could focus on looking my best and not tripping over my own dress. : ) I would recommend her to friends, family, and really anyone who considers the idea of planning a wedding a huge, daunting task. With all the things she did and all the time she spent on my wedding, Kimberly's fee in my opinion is incredibly reasonable. Seriously, this woman knows weddings and will make yours memorable and beautiful!

Kimberly is absolutely amazing. I was in graduate school while planning our wedding and with the long hours and stressful exams, she was a life saver! From day 1, she helped with everything that I needed to think about for our wedding. She accounts for everything and brings multiple qualified vendors for everything, from music to flowers to venues etc.....

She did a great job of getting to know me and in turn made great suggestions for the decorations and arrangements that matched my personality. Because of her, there were no Bridezilla moments :) . She helped me with every step of the process and made me feel 100% comfortable the entire way through. She even gave me a month by month list of items that needed to be finished which made sure that I was stress free and was not scrambling to get ready for the big day.

If she already hadn't shined enough, the wedding day is where she shines even brighter. She is organized, decorated, and coordinated....Everything was gorgeous, and went so smoothly! I did not have to deal with any drama and even our guests were thoroughly impressed with Kimberly. My wedding was everything I had hoped it would be and Kimberly was a big part in making that happen. I highly recommend Kimberly to anyone planning a wedding or event. I can't imagine having done any of it without her!

We could not have done it without her. When we started the planning process, we couldn’t really envision what we wanted. A year later, Kimberly had helped us have the day of our dreams.

Through just a few conversations, she got us. Who we are, and what we wanted. She always brought us multiple choices for everything (as we asked), but sure enough her first choice was always the right one for us. We can’t say enough about Kimberly, and would recommend her to anyone!

Words can't express how amazing Kimberly Hensley is!! Prior to even booking her for our wedding, she went above and beyond to lead us in the right direction. She took the time to get to know me, my husband, my mother (very important), and our family. Every email, call, and text was answered before I even hit "send." She listened to me as I rambled and stressed over everything. Her attention to detail and ability to pick up on every thought I had was remarkable. She is extremely personable, loving, understanding, and willing to do what needs to be done. There is no way we could have put our wedding together without her. From the moment I met Kimberly, I was instantly less stressed about the planning process. She broke down our year of planning month by month to keep us on track and less stressed! She made and attended vendor appointments with us and was with us every step of the way. She had great vendor recommendations and amazing experience to help bring our vision to life! She was awesome during the planning process, but she was a complete ROCK STAR on our wedding day. I CANNOT imagine our day without the help of Kimberly. The day was beautiful, stress-free and seamless-if anything went wrong, I have NO idea! Kimberly was able to execute everything how we wanted it and we truly had the best day ever. Secondly, I had no idea everything that was involved in wedding planning. Her "day of" planning actually starts 6 weeks prior to the wedding, when she told me to leave the vendors to her. She outlined everything, down to the reserved seats in the front row for our close family. There is a reason why she has so many outstanding reviews. She is meticulous, organized, and made the entire process so fun. I literally felt like I just showed up the day of the wedding. One of the most important aspects that I hadn't considered was the timing. Kimberly made the entire event run smoothly and come together perfectly. I'm so happy that she was there to help me through this process!

Kimberly is AMAZING. If you need a coordinator for your wedding, she's your girl! I can't tell you how wonderful it was to have Kimberly coordinate our wedding. She was so prompt in all of her communications, and so calm on the day of the wedding - she made ME calm!! From the very beginning when we first met Kimberly she was not only professional but personable. She handled putting everything together on the wedding day so that me, my mom and my bridal party could relax! Everything was just perfect.

I planned our wedding from out of state and knew I needed someone local to manage the logistics for me. Kimberly was recommended by my caterer and I feel so fortunate that she was available on my wedding date! I contracted with her for her "Bride's Assistant" services which is so much more than I expected for "day of" coordination! Nearly everything on my checklist those last several weeks leading up to the event were things that she handled for me. Needless to say, it took a huge amount of work and stress off my plate. She was professional, organized and so very helpful with advice and even recommendations for other vendors if I was stuck during planning. She was also extremely flexible with my schedule, as I only visited once before the wedding. My husband and are beyond happy with the way she orchestrated our day, managed all our vendors and kept everything on schedule! We didn't have to think about a thing except enjoying ourselves with family and friends. It was an absolutely perfect day, thanks in very large part to Kimberly! Don't think twice, just hire her!

words cannot describe how thankful we were to having Kimberly as our day of coordinator for our wedding. She was absolutely amazing. If there is 1 piece of advice I can give you to make sure that you are stress free on your wedding is to hire at least a day of coordinator. I am very organized and had the time to plan my wedding but wanted to make sure I had someone there to help a little along the way as well as be there on the day to make sure things ran smoothly.

Kimberly was always very prompt at answering my emails, even months before my wedding when she had other weddings to focus on. She always gave great advice and seemed to have an answer to anything and everything. She even set up our transportation for after the wedding for us.

The day of my wedding I was so relaxed and so thankful that Kimberly was there. She helped set up my decor and made sure that everything ran on time. She brought us cocktail hour food in the bridal suite and brought us drinks while we were taking pictures. She even brought my father in law back to his hotel at the end of the night!

Do yourself a favor and hire Kimberly Hensley you will not be disappointed!!

This review took me a while to write because no words can truly express my graditute for having Kim as our wedding planner. Since the day we met for our consultation, Kim has been supportive, encouraging and excited for me and my husband. She is so easy to talk to, made us comfortable throughout the whole process, and really just got what our vision was for our wedding. We wanted a planner to help guide us through the planning process, find some awesome venders and take care of the logistics the day of the wedding- Kim did that and so so much more for us! As the mother of the bride I was warned by MANY friends to get my daughter a wedding planner. The more I heard it the more I thought perhaps we should. OMG Kimberly was so amazing. She had all the answers and provided so many ideas we never thought of. Most of all as the mother I didn’t have to do anything but enjoy helping my daughter with HER day. The church and the reception venue were all taken care of, EVERY detail exactly the way my daughter wanted. I can’t say enough good things about Kimberly and all she provided for us. It was the BEST spent money I ever thought I was wasting.

If you want your day to go perfectly and still be able to enjoy every moment of it, then hire Kimberly Hensley! She was hands down the best decision I made in the entire wedding planning process.

From the very beginning, Kimberly was so personal. I knew from the first email that she was the one to hire. BUT… being that I am a diligent decision maker, weighing all my options before choosing, I still interviewed other planners. I compared prices and packages, and read tons of reviews. But in the end, it was Kimberly who stole my heart. She really got to know ME and what I envisioned for my wedding (even before I hired her!) She is super organized (which I LOVE). She has a tried and true timeline that she modifies to fit your needs. My company unexpectedly relocated me half way across the country midway through the planning process. I went on a wedding hiatus for a couple months, but Kimberly adjusted and got us right back on track!

Kimberly will see that your wedding is exactly what you want. And if you don’t know exactly what you want (like me), then Kimberly will help you figure it out. Every bride is different and Kimberly will be the first to recognize that. She always had my best interest at heart and totally adapted to my style. She knew me better than I knew me! It was a little surreal, but the reality is Kimberly Hensley knows weddings and she knows brides. And speaking of what else she knows… she knows a ton of other awesome wedding vendors! I had the best combination of people working to put together my perfect day. Everything was just gorgeous and the whole day was so smooth. The best part was that my husband and I got to enjoy every moment because Kimberly was behind the scenes making it all happen.

All of our guests had a wonderful time and couldn't stop raving about how beautiful and put together everything was. In the words of our families, it was the “Best Wedding Ever.” Thanks to the great work of Kimberly Hensley!

Kimberly was amazing to work with. Impeccably organized, professional, and extremely knowledgeable in her field. My husband (yay!) and I are both in medical school and our schedules are crazy and sometimes unpredictable. Kimberly was flexible and understanding. She always kept me on track and on time. She was also very mindful of my budget and never offered me a vendor or option that I couldn't afford. There were so many things that went on behind the scenes negotiating with vendors that I never knew about until they were resolved, which made the process just about stress free.
The big day was absolutely perfect; I wanted to live in it forever. All of my visions came to life in a tasteful and elegant way. (Many things looked exactly like my Pinterest board!!) I received many compliments from guests about how great everything was. All the vendors were organized and on time. I was truly able to just soak in the night and enjoy my party. I don't think many brides can say that.
If you're wondering if you need a planner, I vote yes. If you're wondering if Kimberly is your girl, double yes!! She's amazing, you won't be disappointed!

Words cannot describe what Kimberly Hensley did to create our perfect wedding day. We decided on using Kimberly’s full service plan due to our busy/conflicting schedules and couldn't be happier. From start to finish she was absolutely AMAZING.

I had lost my mother in 2003 and knew this would be an emotionally difficult time for me. Kimberly took the role of being there for us with anything and everything we needed through every step of the way.

Kimberly was always professional, organized, and prompt in responding emails. Kimberly always gave us her complete attention even though you know she had other clients she was working with. She also provided us with great advice/choices on all our vendors; that were within our budget and "theme" of our wedding. Kimberly even attended all our vendor meetings and was never "pushy". She kept us on schedule and we never felt rushed or pressed for time. She shared her ideas and listened to ours; to make our prefect wedding day a reality.

On the day of the wedding she made sure everything went smoothly and kept us focused on OUR day. She was very calm, cool, and collected and provided a detailed list of events for the day. I kept hearing from everyone, that "Something will not go as planned and to not stress on the day." But I never had that problem. The Day was exactly as we had planned, stress free, and AMAZING. Actually it was even better than we could have ever imagined. Every guest had nothing but awesome things to say about our wedding, they are still talking about it!

Kimberly was a blessing from the beginning to the end. I can honestly say the best choice we made was hiring Kimberly Hensley! Best Day Ever!

Fabulous, thoughtful, organized are just a few words that come to mind when I think about Kimberly Hensley Events. Kimberly Hensley herself was a true pleasure to work with; professional, fun, kind, works well with others and always managed to find a way to yes- even when asking for the near impossible.

Being a busy bride and groom (as we all are ;) ). DH and I made the best decision in working with KHE as she planned our entire wedding with us; from start to finish she was there with us every step of the way. From selecting venues, caterers, desserts, linen, music, lighting, ceremony site, officiant, bridal party make up, venues for our guests to stay, brews to be poured, bridal party attire, flowers- you name it, she was there.

That's not all! Kimberly was also on site for our rehearsal dinner and day of the wedding as well. KH ensured that all members of the wedding party, friends and family were provided clear direction of where to be and at what time, along with the flawless coordination from ceremony site to reception (despite the rain).

Words truly cannot express how thankful I am that DH and I had the opportunity to work with Kimberly. KHE is well worth the investment, and ended up saving us a substantial amount on our budget due to her connections within the wedding/event community. The best wedding advice I can give to any one would be to hire Kimberly Hensley Events for your wedding, or next event.

Kimberly is amazing!!! I don't know what we would have done without her. We hired her as our day of coordinator.

From our first meeting, she offered great advice on vendors, set-up, decor, logistics, etc and with her experience she thought of things I would have probably missed (one example: she pointed out the aisle would need to be extra wide to accommodate 3 people across. If she wasn't helping we might have had a traffic jam when my mom, dad and I walked down!).

Kimberly confirmed all details with the vendors to ensure the day went flawlessly. She also set up all of our decor. She arranged flowers which saved us money with the florist.

Kimberly has the perfect personality for a wedding planner. She is strong, firm and makes sure the bride gets what she wants but is also very sweet and classy. I knew she was representing me and our event well.

The whole family was well informed about what to do and where to be at all times. She made sure we stayed on schedule without being pushy.

I would highly recommend hiring Kimberly Hensley! I was conflicted about hiring a day of coordinator. I wasn't sure I was having "that" kind of wedding and there were so many other expenses. I enjoyed wedding planning as well. I am sooo happy we had Kimberly! She is worth way more than her fee and really she probably saved us money overall. It would have been impossible to have the relaxed day we had on the wedding day without her help.

Kimberly was such a pleasure to work with. I chose the day of package, and in our initial call she was extremely helpful, recommding bands, caterers, etc. Throughout the planning phase she was always available and very quick to reply to texts or emails. She was the point of contact for all my vendors and made planning stress free. They day of the wedding, she was there beginning to end, and she went above and beyond my expectations. The wedding could not have been more perfect and it couldn't have happened without Kimberly! During the six weeks of planning with her, everytime I saw her, I wanted to hug her for making everything so easy for me. I will recommend her to everyone planning an event! Definitely worth it!

Words cannot express how grateful I am for having Kimberly by my side during the wedding process! I was a DIY bride planning a destination 1920s themed wedding at the Powel Crosley Estate from afar. At first I honestly wasn't considering hiring a Day of Coordinator and instead have someone I know take care of it, but the more I thought about it, I really needed a professional to pull this together. Kimberly was just that, and her Bride's Assistant package was exactly what I needed! I had received a few quotes from other vendors and hers stood out from the competition by far. Once we talked over the phone I knew she was the person I wanted to work with. She began working with us a few weeks before the wedding to get all my contracts and the timeline finalized. She was readily available whenever I needed her and gave great advice along the way. She even worked super hard to make sure that not only did I get to do all of my out-of-the-box ideas like setting up a champagne tower, but that the wedding party and family were able to relax too. Even when things went wrong like the wrong flowers coming in, or when we realized that I bought table numbers 12-25, and not 1-25, Kimberly was cool and quick to come up with a solution that ended up looking great. Kimberly also comes with an awesome assistant. These girls worked so hard to make our big day everything I dreamed it would be. Thank you for your guidance, professionalism and miracle-making skills! I highly recommend KHE for your party planning needs!

My one piece of advice to every girl planning a wedding is to have a short engagement and hire a wedding planner and I would highly, highly recommend Kimberly!! From the minute I spoke to Kimberly I knew she was the best person to make our dream wedding become a reality. From the beginning Kimberly worked hard to understand our vision and bring it to life all within our budget and within our five months timeline. There is no way we could have pulled off the wedding without her. She found an amazing location and a “Dream Team” of vendors. Her day of coordination was absolutely invaluable! Right before our wedding was suppose to start a huge thunderstorm started to roll-in. Kimberly took charge, got everyone arranged and we were able to start the ceremony 15 minutes early and were able to get our outdoor beach wedding in before the rain started. She then worked with all the vendors to re-arrange our reception timeline on the fly to ensure we got everyone in despite the rain. Thanks to Kimberly, I didn’t have to worry about anything and was able to sit back and enjoy my wedding!!

From the beginning, her excitement for her job could be sensed through her emails. She was always professional and helpful. She listened to my wedding day ideas and turned them into a reality. I think I am the only person that had two planners but one person. I contacted KHE and Jodie responded on behalf of the company. I felt at ease with Jodie and I knew Kimberly was always in the wings to monitor and step in if needs be. When I met both ladies I knew right away they would not let me down. Kimberly was not my main contact but she made sure to keep in the loop and was there to pick up were ever she was needed. I never felt that I was unimportant and even though by the actual wedding day I had a new company I was very glad to see Kimberly was there, following thru to the end. Wow! Kimberly Hensley is more than just a planner...she instantly became our friend! After interviewing several different planners, we fell in love with Kimberly during our phone consultation. We knew that she was the best person to make our dream comes true. Being an out of town bride/groom, finding the right planner with the right personality was extremely important. We hired her as a full wedding planner from start to finish. She went out of her way to ensure our wedding was perfect! And it was!!! She made sure we stayed within budget and made sure our theme flowed throughout. She is very hands-on and was available to talk to us whenever we needed her! Kimberly is absolutely the BEST at what she does. She immediately got my vision and made it come to fruition. Our wedding day went off without a hitch because of her and her lovely assistant. I was a busy fiancé working in a high demanding job, in the midst of buying a house, and embarking on the biggest change of my life. I was about to lose my mind even thinking about planning a wedding.

I couldn't have been happier with my decision on working with Kimberly; without her, my wedding would've never happened. Kimberly helped me to stay on track with all the decisions that needed to be made, provided AWESOME referrals for vendors (was completely happy with everyone she referred) and was always available when I had a question. When you first meet her, she will tell you to not be fooled by her calm demeanor she is a completely different person at the wedding; she wasn't joking. The day of our wedding, she was all over the place working all the logistics. I didn't have to worry about a thing! And, the wedding went off without a hitch. After the reception was over Kimberly and her assistant returned the venue to the state it was when they arrived. The only thing I had to do the next morning was to pack my vehicles and go home. Couldn't have asked for a better day! Would definitely refer her to anyone planning a wedding!

I found Kimberly via a referral and I could not have been happier. She helped me with full wedding planning since both my husband and I had extraordinarily full schedules with our jobs. She was fantastic in every way. Helped me bring my wedding vision to life, helped me stay on budget, helped me make choices and provided me with amazing vendor referrals. I found Kimberly via a referral and I could not have been happier. She helped me with full wedding planning since both my husband and I had extraordinarily full schedules with our jobs. She was fantastic in every way. Helped me bring my wedding vision to life, helped me stay on budget, helped me make choices and provided me with amazing vendor referrals. In many regards she went above and beyond what I expected a planner to do and put some people (rehearsal dinner vendor) in check when they needed it :). Kimberly is a wedding planning rock star. I cannot sing her praises enough. She is extremely professional and so passionate about her work. In just a short meeting it is easy to see how much she enjoys planning. Her excitement is palpable. For the year that we worked together I honestly felt like I was her only client, even though I knew she had so many others. She knows and has great relationships with all of the best vendors, and she has a fantastic eye for design. She kept me on target and worry free throughout the entire planning process. The biggest obstacle I faced was envisioning the wedding that I wanted, but with the few ideas Kimberly was able to pull out of me she was able to take them and run. Every detail of the ceremony and reception was exactly what I wanted. The entire day ran without an issue, and if there was one I certainly did not notice! She kept all of the vendors organized and the day/night flowed beautifully. The best part of working with Kimberly was how down to earth she is. It was so easy to build a great relationship with her, and I miss her already!

Kimberly was central in creating and executing our wedding! I consider myself a very organized and prepared person and was a little concerned about finding a planner who would share my level of detail. Kimberly not only met my hope, but exceeded it! It was apparent from our first phone meeting to the day of the wedding that she had thought of everything and as a result, the entire day was incredible without a single hitch. The day of our wedding, we were able to completely enjoy, relax, and live the moment. We never had to worry about if, when, where, or how things were coming together because Kimberly was steering everything from the hotel to the church to the reception. I was comforted knowing she would handle any surprise should they arise and she would do so with grace and poise. Prior to the wedding, we exchanged
emails frequently about details as Kimberly was not only our day-of coordinator but also helped with décor. It was great to have her for vendor recommendations and an honest perspective on ideas that would/would not work with our venue and our vision. Kimberly has fantastic design concepts, is budget conscious when researching purchases, and is also just a pleasure to work with! Her services are very reasonably priced and she is a bargain for as much time, energy, and warmth she pours into her work. I not only had an amazing wedding coordinator but gained a friend and would recommend her enthusiastically and without reservation!

We used Kimberly as coordinator for our Jan. 18 wedding.
I honestly don't know what we would have done without her!! She is simply fantastic. First of all, she is beyond organized, which should make brides feel very relieved! Throughout the process, she was one step ahead of us. She is also a good listener, and provided her opinions when appropriate but was also respectful of what we wanted.
She is extremely responsive to emails and is always willing to talk things over on the phone as well. In addition, she is pleasant to be around and fun to talk to.
In hindsight, we would have used Kimberly to do full-scale planning for our wedding. I would recommend her to anyone.

I was a UK bride trying to organise a wedding for 40 people at the Grand Plaza Hotel in St Petes. It had been proving to be a nightmare to source the vendors and trying to arrange the wedding myself . I had the concept/theme of what I wanted but need somebody to step in fast and organize for me and that is exactly what KImberly did !!

Kimberly is simply the creme del la creme and knows this business inside out ! She has a brilliant array of vendors on her books, who she uses dependant on the type/style of wedding she is catering for and as our theme was birdcage/vintage she suggested the perfect assemble for our wedding.

From day one I emailed Kimberly what I wanted and explained the difficulty I had with the hotel contact and Kimberly assured me she would act as my no 1 point of contact and would act as an intermediary between myself and the hotel. She took this onboard, along with my ideas and started ASAP, firing emails straight back at me ...this lady does not sleep as your wedding is her no.1 priority! She is overwhelmingly organised and on the ball and you can be rest assured she has everything in hand...she was chasing me!
Kimberly would email and frequently rang me to have regular catch ups. We met several times before the big day, she even made the effort to come to a pre-wedding party we were throwing so she could get to know the guests before hand !

To conclude Kimberly Hensley Events is without a shadow of doubt, the best event planner there is! She is superb and utterly amazing at what she does and such a beautiful person....all you need to do is sit back and let her work her magic !:) Thanks for everything Kimberly Hensley Events, you made my dream wedding come true !!! xxx

We started interviewing day-of coordinators seven weeks before our wedding. Initially we thought our friends would help us with the setup of the event: what we thought we needed was someone who could oversee all of these activities. At our first meeting with Kimberly, she told us that she loved that we had thought of all these things and were so organized, but said, “NO. A coordinator should do all these things.” She wanted our friends to relax and be the invited guests that they were supposed to be. She thought so much of our guests’ experience, and was willing to do all the things that we didn’t know we could ask a coordinator for. I said to my then-fiance, “Kimberly will do it better than I could.” I felt confident that Kimberly would execute our vision perfectly and better, leaving us the time to get ready, and relax with our family and friends.

In the weeks leading up to the wedding, Kimberly was not only available, but went above and beyond to envision our site plan; talk with all of our vendors; secure details we weren’t able to do from afar, such as measuring the space for our tent and finding parking; and conduct detailed Skype sessions with us to go over it all. Kimberly worked with us to reimagine our site plan, as the dimensions of the beach backyard had changed. The day before our wedding, she ran our rehearsal professionally, working well with us and our family members. On the day of our wedding, a family emergency required us to move our timeline around. I called Kimberly immediately, and not only did we rework the timeline, she also set aside food for our family, and contacted the vendors to tell them of the change. Our family and guests never knew the difference, and felt relaxed, happy, and welcome at the event. My sister was impressed with how unobtrusive Kimberly was during the event, yet assertive when she needed to be. My husband and I feel so fortunate to have booked Kimberly, who played a major role in making our day a spectacular success.

Kimberly is amazing! It's so worth it to spend on a planner. Not only did she alleviate my wedding stress, she recommended the awesome reverend and DJ that we used. I've been to plenty of weddings where the bride and her mother are gathering linens and centerpieces at the end of the night. I didn't want that to be me so I hired Kimberly Hensley Events for day-of wedding services. About a month before the wedding I handed over all of my contracts and Kimberly took over everything. She responded to my emails and phone calls immediately. She coordinated with the caterer and met several of my venders at the wedding site for me. She took all of the decorations off my hands at the rehearsal. On the day of the wedding she arrived at my hotel room at noon to take care of transporting my dress and finishing up any last minute details. The ceremony started on time and the reception flowed perfectly. My groom and I exited in a halo of sparklers to the after party and she took care of all the cleanup. I cannot say how thankful I am for hiring her! My only regret is that I didn't have her plan the whole thing...

Kimberly was absolutely great - I got her name from someone I had met at the nail salon of all places - I never even talked to another planner before hiring her. She was the biggest asset to our wedding - from the start she provided guidance in my planning and offered great recommendations for other vendors. She recognized that we were having a very budget friendly event and worked with it. Without her, there is no way our wedding would have been as great as it was. The day of the event there were many little things that happened that could have derailed set up (Rain!, wrong tent being delivered, etc) but she handled it all without bothering me (I never knew half of the things that went wrong until after the reception was over!). She worked so hard the day of setting up the venue and staying late into the night to clean up. I highly recommend Kimberly to anyone who is in need of a wedding or party planner, she was AWESOME!!!

We had our wedding in October 2013 and met Kimberly Hensley at a tasting for our caterer. We spoke to her briefly and ended up hiring her as a day of coordinator. Other coordinators we spoke to were much more expensive and didn't seem to be on the same page as us, unlike Kimberly who understood us from the get go. We met with her a few times a few months out to go over what we wanted. She was very organized and attentive to our ideas. She worked with us to give us ideas when we needed them and advice on what was too much when we got carried away. She really started to step in a few weeks out from the wedding, contacting our vendors, finding out details for us, and making sure we were on track and where we needed to be in our planning. She never tried to take over or suggest things unless we asked her and she always had the answers we needed. She kept us calm when something went wrong or when we were freaking out about the weather. Kimberly ran the rehearsal well and made sure everyone knew their role and where they were supposed to be. On the day of the wedding she kept everyone on time and made sure our decorations were up and in place. She was in contact with the vendors making sure they were in place and were doing what they were supposed to. We can't imagine trying to do everything she did ourselves. She was a great planner and we couldn't be more pleased with our experience with her, she was a lifesaver.

Kimberly is absolutely fabulous! My family and I hired her over a year out from my wedding, which was Sept. 6, 2013. From day one, she came prepared and took lots of notes - without even knowing if we were going to hire her, she took the time and care to prepare a plan for my husband and I's dream wedding. She never pressured us and let us take our time in choosing the perfect wedding planner for our vision. Well, Kimberly was that perfect planner! Right away, she sent over our timeline and budget, then went right down the list from there to ensure we were always on the right track while helping us to solidify our visions and aspirations. Kimberly met us on numerous occasions to make sure we were getting everything we wanted. She helped us choose our venue and even went venue shopping with us! She picked out only the best of the best in vendors for us to choose from, and even was there with us each step of the way to help us in our decision. From the cake to the DJ to the florist, Kimberly always presented vendors who were top notch and most importantly in our budget range. When it came down to our wedding day, Kimberly set up everything exactly how my husband and I envisioned it. It was truly spectacular and worry-free. We did not have to worry about a thing afterwards either! Kimberly and her staff packed away all of our wedding decor and gifts into our car and it was ready to go for us the next day. Kimberly even decorated our honeymoon suite with rose petals, candles and champagne on ice! Talk about someone who cares about making you feel like a million bucks!

Kimberly will take your wedding to a place you have only dreamed of. Hiring her WILL make your wedding planning process 100 times easier and it will be beautiful in the end. Her timeline allows you to sit back, enjoy your wedding day and focus on the most important day of your life...marrying your best friend!

Kimberly is with you every step of the way. I was an out of town bride, coming from Boston. I wanted to bring some DIY and unique touches to my wedding. I interviewed 6 event planners. First, Kim offered the most involvement while still being a "Day Of." She was open to offering vendor experiences and helping brainstorm at any time. In addition, she would begin reviewing my work WEEKS before any other planner would. And for the same or less than other planners.

But most importantly, I felt Kim was able to give me MY wedding. Interviewing 6 planners, I saw a lot of wonderful planners that, however, offered similar concepts of what a wedding included and looked liked. And NONE of them was the chic, modern, unique image I was looking for. They were beautful formal and beach weddings, typical to Florida. But I was from out of town and wanted to bring some of my home town culture/event expectations into the Florida event scene. Kim did not respond with cookie cutter responses, ideas, and images. She took what I said and built on the ideas, offering advice that worked. I felt safe that on my wedding day, if I wasn't there to make the decision, Kim would be and that her decisions would represent what I wanted because she knew me and the look I was going for.

Kim stands out as an Event Planner. She has energy and ideas like a great planner. She also has a special ability to align herself with people as individuals and provide unique experiences tailored to each event and each vision.

From the very start Kimberly continually exceeded our expectations. We only made one trip down to Florida during our year engagement. All other vendor meetings, site visits, and consultations were done by Kimberly. Her notes, photos, charts, and lists were always thorough and I never felt like I missed a step being all the way in Ohio. She helped us select a dream team of vendors based on my style, requirements, and budget. Our venue was outdoors which adds several layers of complications that never frazzled Kimberly. There must have been a thousand e-mails exchanged over the year, and many Skype calls, but Kimberly always maintained a genuine sense of excitement and enthusiasm about our wedding. She’ll definitely make things happen for you but will also use her professional experience to guide you in the right direction if she fells a certain idea needed ‘tweaking’. She’s got a great personality so we also just had fun working with her.
On the day of the wedding I got ready in the house on the property of the wedding. Not once did I go outside to see how set up was going, or to make sure things were in places we’d specified they’d be. I completely trusted Kimberly’s organization and attention to detail to execute the event as we had planned together. She must have working a 14+ hour day on the day of the wedding. My husband and I along with our families can’t say enough good things about Kimberly. Peace of mind on your wedding day is priceless. As a wedding planner myself I know these days come and go so quickly. The most important thing a couple can do is let go of the details and just enjoy the moments with the loved ones that are there to celebrate with you. Kimberly allowed us to do that completely and we will be ever grateful.

My daughter was married on 4/20/13 and Kimberly was great. She went above and beyond expectations. I live in Nashville, Tn. and my daughter found Kimberly and it was the best investment we made for Jen's wedding. She was married on the beach and it was beautiful. Kimberly handled everything on the day of the wedding and all the issues that come up during the planning. We had a problem with the original venue and Kimberly stepped in and handled everything including finding another venue. To say Thank You sounds so minor for all the things that she did. She is wonderful and I will miss talking with her. She treated our family wonderful and became part of it.

Although I was not the bride (I was the MOH) I wanted to talk about how much I loved Kimberly and her assistant. I saw first hand the amount of dedication and work she put into this event. I know of at least two fires she put out....but didnt find out about to after the wedding. This is proof that she did her job to the fullest because we were all oblivious to these things. Not only was she on top of everything but she was professional, kind, and willing to work hard. If you don't hire Kimberly your crazy.

I found Kimberly through another wedding planner and I am incredibly happy I did. She was the BEST utilization of the wedding money I spent.

From the first time we met, I knew I wanted her to help execute my wedding. She was on time, held herself high, spoke with great confidence and listened to my wishes. She was quick to lend suggestions when I asked for it and was able to fully understand how my one night was suppose to be.

I hired her for "day of" services but honestly, I felt like she did so much more. She contacted my vendors the week before to make sure everyone was going to arrive at the appropriate time, she attended the rehearsal the night before, and she created a timeline with me that helped the night flow flawlessly.

When the BIG DAY arrived, Kimberly showed up ready to work. Her and her assistant, Anna, were great. They pulled together all of my hard work and my visions and worked effortlessly with all of my vendors.

During pictures, I peaked my head into the reception venue and got a huge smile on my face. The place looked amazing.

I'm not going to lie, I feel as though my wedding was one of the best I have ever been to, much of that credit is due to the fantastic vendors I selected, but the majority of the props go to Kimberly Hensley Events. Without them, I would have been stressed out not knowing how it was all going to come together.

I owe them the BEST DAY OF MY LIFE 3>

Kimberly was an amazing event planner! She really put us all at ease and made us feel comfortable about everything. She was my day-of planner, meaning she was with me the entire day of the wedding and she also helped get everything organized the month before. I met with her about 3 times before the wedding to go over every detail of the event and we also emailed and talked on the phone. She spent hours with me making sure I had everything figured out and running smoothly. She also got in contact with all of my vendors and would relay information to them so I didn't have to go back and forth with everyone. Kimberly Hensley made sure every aspect of our wedding went exactly as we wanted. From the day we met with her, a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders and she made sure every little detail was covered and perfect! Our wedding would not have been as flawless as it was without her hard work, organization, and precision to detail. Kimberly is the organization queen! She was in charge of all of my vendors from 6 weeks prior to our wedding and on the day of. She took care of our gifts the day of - made sure they were beautifully displayed in the honeymoon suite and was all over the place. She was calm and decisive and responsive within a minute of my texts and emails. She was professional and "with it." She was the only one that was allowed to handle the vendors so the messages didn't get mixed. I let her handle everything and she was strict to her timeline that she created. She was there at the rehearsal and the day of was in the room with us making sure the hairdresser and makeup stylists were on time and keeping a good schedule. Everything was perfect, thanks to Kimberly. You can trust her to get everything done. She was referred to us by our florist and we were so glad we had her coordinate our event!

Kimberley was amazing! She met all of my expectations and more , I highly recommend her to anyone that is looking to have a flawless wedding... She kept everything on track she never made me feel pressured and she provided great recommendations for other vendors. My entire family agrees that she was the best investment we made to pull this wedding off without a hitch.

Kimberly Hensely was absolutely fantastic and made my big day stress free. Very professional and would definitely recommend her to anyone. I would use her again for any other event I have in the future. A true blessing :)

Kimberly was referred to me by a close friend. From the moment I met her I knew she was someone that cared about what we wanted and would make it happen. She was available for me and was ver conscientious about all the nees of our weding. I could have never done it without her.
