I'm writing from the perspective of a bridesmaid – Corina and Linda are a dynamic team that really do put together a perfect package for any wedding. I’d suggest this venue for any bride/bridal party. Our time spent at Khimaira Farm was relaxing and so much fun. We could really focus on our bride -- they had everything else taken care of! -

As a bride, you want the day to be perfect. The perfect day starts with the perfect setting and the dream team to make it happen. Look no further, Khimaira is both and more!
The farm is the perfect country setting with so much rustic class and incredibly romantic. From the incredible mountain views down to the personal touches Khimaira and their venue team puts on every single wedding to make it personal and so "you", there is no better venue around. We live in Northern VA and no venue in our area in a 50 mile radius could offer what Khimiara can. The prices can't be beat for their wedding package and the feeling of certainty you get when working with this fabulous venue team that your day will be everything you ever wanted is unmatched.
The business is family run which is amazing. Linda was a dream to work with and her lovely daughter Corina made our vision come to life with stunning table scapes and breathtaking arbor decor that I don't think a master florist could have accomplished. Planning with this dynamic duo was a breeze and communication was stellar. The process was so incredibly easy from the payment plans, to the decor planning to the scheduling and all the moving parts of our big day. Our wedding on October 26th, 2019 went perfect. So many of our guests complimented the professionalism and beauty of the venue. The wait staff, bartenders and other services they provide are worth it, use them! Our family and friends are still raving about how beautiful our wedding was and how they haven't seen a venue like Khimaira ever. I even had two friends getting married next year message me and beg me for contact information and details.
If you are looking for a rustic, romantic, mountain wedding well within a decent budget and a dream team to work with... Khimaira is your place. You won't be disappointed :) -

Perfect venue!!
Corina did such a wonderful job bringing our vision to life!!! We are SO GLAD a friend recommended Khimaira Farm to us. The mountains in the backdrop of the ceremony and our pictures were just breathtaking and all of our guests immediately knew why we fell in love with Khimaira Farm. Two friends got married here 5 years ago and when we told them we couldn’t find the perfect venue...they knew Khimaira would be it! As a low-key bride who didn’t want to do a lot of work myself Khimaira was perfect! For a low fee, they’ll do all the decorating and coordinating for you! Throughout our wedding they did they a fantastic job keeping my husband and I on schedule, moving our guests from place to place, etc. it was the perfect venue, perfect family-centric staff, and the most beautiful location. Our caterer (Hank’s) also gave us a great price because of how much the venue does for them, too- vendors love working with Khimaira! -

Much more than just a venue
The gorgeous mountain back drop for the ceremony drew me to this venue. I had no idea that the actual best part would be Linda, her daughter - Corina, and the staff. Every detail was executed with thought and care. As a bride, my day ran incredibly smooth. My guests were wowed by the beautiful ceremony and reception. My uncle, who has been in the wedding industry for years commented that this was the most organized and well run wedding he had ever seen. This venue bundled decor, place settings, coordination, set up / breakdown and so much more with Linda and Corina calling all the shots. Corina made the reception area more beautiful than I could have imagined and was on top every single detail for the day. This venue and their owners saved me from an incredible amount of stress and resulted in my dream wedding :) Lastly, Corina, captured some absolutely stunning shots from the day that were unique from what my photographer got. Right before Christmas Linda and Corina mailed these high resolution photos to me via flash drive along with a personalized ornament. Such a wonderful early Christmas present and great way to relive the best day of my life.

Having been to several weddings since ours, I cannot say enough how much of a godsend Linda and her daughter Corina were for our wedding. With their team, they went above and beyond to make our day so smooth and magical. None of the weddings we’ve been to after ours have been nearly as seamless or without hitch. They really knew their stuff! And we are so grateful. So many people have made comments to us about how ours was the best wedding they’ve been to and that’s all due to Linda, Corina, and their wonderful team. We received so many comments form our guests afterwards about how the staff was amazing and, of course, I have no disagreement! I am also so grateful for all the money that was saved with decorations (since they recycle from old weddings and you can just pick out whatever you want to use from their Pinterest page) and place settings and almost everything, really. They have a concierge service where you can customize how much of their extra services you’ll use and most things on there save you much stress and money. I also love that they donate leftover flowers to a local nursing home and the leftover food to a shelter. They really have a great system and we were so blessed to have gotten to have our wedding at Khimaira. Linda and Corina were so attuned to my vision for the wedding and somehow carried it out in a way that made it even better and more beautiful than I had imagined. I cannot speak highly enough. They literally made our day as perfect as humanly possible. I could sing their praises for days.

Wedding planning, as everyone knows can feel overwhelming and stressful. There is so much to balance. For me, the place I would be married was the best important item to book. I wanted a place that was beautiful and represented me and my fiance's values, a place that had character and a feeling of home, while also being a place that would be cost-effective and make my life easy. I didn't want a typical catering hall, but I also didn't want to do a lot of DIY-ing. Khimaira Farm and the mother/daughter team (Linda and Corinna) could not have been more perfect. Many, MANY people told me that my wedding was the most beautiful and fantastic wedding they'd been to. The ceremony was right up against the picturesque Blue Ridge mountains. Linda and Corina handled ALL the details from flow of the evening and an unimaginable amount of in-theme decor that they had in their collection. They even handled ordering bulk flowers and did an AMAZING job with table set up. When I walked in I was truly taken aback. It is obvious from all of our interactions throughout the months leading up to the wedding and day of that these ladies are PROS. They've done this a million times and they have everything under control. Also, I really liked that because it's a farm, you can bring your own alcohol and hire any caterer you want, So I saved a ton of money on alcohol and food. Last but not least, Linda and Corina make you feel like family. It was truly the most amazing day, and I have Khimaira Farm to thank. THANK YOU LINDA AND CORINA! -

Best decision ever!
From the moment we walked in the door to view the venue as a wedding option, Linda made us feel like family. Their two wonderful dogs greeted us at our car and she hugged us upon meeting us. The venue was nothing short of spectacular and the view cannot be put into words. We booked the venue a year and a half in advance and Linda and Corina were so responsive and helpful along the way. They reviewed our contracts to ensure we weren't paying for unnecessary items with our vendors and took our pinterest board ideas and blew them out of the water. The day of the event was so laid back because they handled all of the particulars and ensured we had nothing to worry about. I cannot recommend them enough to my family and friends for their nuptials because Linda, Corina and the Khimaira family are simply the best! -

I'm speechless when it comes to my experience working with Khimaira Farm. If I could dream my perfect wedding, Linda and her daughter Corina executed it.
I planned my wedding all the way from Chicago, and the process could not have been smoother in terms of the back and forth. The family is very easy to reach and so helpful when it comes to choosing vendors and planning. They gave us recommendations on catering, hotels, makeup artists, and so much more and all aspects were all phenomenal.
When I visited Khimaira in-person, Corina was holding her baby, showing me napkin sample colors, AND table decoration options all at the same time. Talk about some serious multitasking! I love telling that story because it's so clear this is a family run business who all work so diligently and hard. They are so passionate about making everyone's days special and never act like they're bored of doing it. In fact, when I thanked Linda and Corina for making our day so special, Linda even shed a tear. Looking back at this experience, I feel like I gained an extra family with this venue.
Cannot recommend Khimaira enough! If you're second guessing, don't! Do it! -

Having our wedding at Khimaira Farm was like having family host our special day. We felt an immense sense of love the moment we stepped on the farm to see the venue for the first time. Our guests absolutely adored the venue, too. Indeed, the most compliments we got were about the farm. Khimaira's expansive fields, well-tended gardens, and elegant barns are beautiful during the day, and the whole place takes on a magical quality at night. Our photographer mentioned how much she enjoys photographing there (so much so that she got married at Khimaira, too).
Linda, Corina, and the rest of the Campbell family worked with us to make the day perfect. They are the reason we didn't get stressed about wedding planning - they handled the decorations, logistics, day-of flow, and our endless questions. They helped us envision the ideal day, and then they delivered flawlessly. Linda and Corina even helped smooth over a last-minute family spat for us! And because the Campbell family works so closely and often with folks in the area, all the vendors (e.g., caterer, transportation, DJ) knew exactly what to do at Khimaira. It was like a community came together to throw us a wedding! We couldn't be happier with our choice to have our wedding there, and we're going to go back to visit soon. Having our wedding at Khimaira was the best decision. -

We were so lucky to have stumbled on Khimaira Farms when we started off on our wedding adventure! Of all of the many decision we made during the process, this is one of our absolute best and easiest. Linda and Corina made every vision we had come alive with constant support and attention to detail over our two year engagement. Despite hosting a significant amount of weddings throughout the year, they gave us 110% of their time when requested and made sure we covered everything during our meetings. Things that I hadn't even thought about magically appeared where needed the day of without prompting. We didn't have to worry about coordinating all the steps of the day. Honestly, I couldn't recommend a better team. They made our day seamless and such a beautiful occasion. We are still receiving compliments when we run into guests, telling us that this was the best wedding that they have ever been too and the loveliest venue. In retrospect, not only were Linda and Corina on point and organized for every step, they are unfailingly kind, which made them a joy to work and spend time with. Thank you so much, Linda, Corina, and the rest of the Khimaira family and team! (PS. It also says a lot about a venue, when other vendors are thrilled to be working with the venue as well, which we saw/heard from all of our other vendors. Many of them even offer discounts because Khimaira provides so much in-house!) -

The absolute best wedding we could have ever asked for! Corina, Linda, and team did everything we asked for. Listen to all of their advice and suggestions. It will help make your day go so smoothly! Even the time they recommended for our wedding was spot on because they know the weather patterns well and know best when the sun sets, when it typically rains, etc. There is no need to stress with this crew because they will take care of everything you could think of and even the things you wouldn't think of but should have thought of! It was truly the PERFECT day. -

The team at Khimaira is absolutely incredible. The venue itself is like something out of a movie, so natural and so beautiful. The team is efficient, kind, responsive and creative and their list of recommended vendors is a perfect tool to build your dream wedding as is their connection to the community in Luray. You cannot go wrong with this venue! -
Amy Sent on 02/10/2018We got married at Khimaira Farm May 7th 2017, and can honestly say I would give them 10 starts if I could. This was the first and only venue we looked at, we knew right away this was the place! It’s absolutely gorgeous. Linda is so great to work with, she went above and beyond for us. They decorated the place so beautifully it was exactly what I envisioned. They have sooo many decorations to choose from it’s great to not have to go out and spend extra money on items that will just be used once. All our guests still talk about how beautiful of a venue it was, the view of the mountains is amazing, pictures don’t do it justice. If you are thinking about getting married here, I highly recommend doing so. Linda is just awesome! If you get married here I promise you won’t regret it.

We were just dating but we fell in love and knew we would be married there. The venue is perfection, stunning mountain views and the barn is charming and chic. Its family owned and that shines through with the service you receive. Linda, the owner is responsive and knows what she is doing. When you meet her she treats you like family. she takes the time to get to know you and your style to make your day special. All the decor is included in the price and the family has an open barn day when every piece in every color is set out for you to choose. I had a private pinterest board that Linda was on. She created tablescapes that were beyond my expectations. She knew what I wanted and took the time with her staff (which includes her talented daughter) to make my dreams come true. All of our guests were equally enchanted by this jewel. I just wish I could re live this day again. -

Linda and her team were absolutely wonderful, helping us with last minute details and calming us down during those stressful wedding day moments. The venue is unbelievable! Breathtaking views and a cozy atmosphere were exactly what we were looking to have at our wedding. The added bonus of fresh wild flowers and closets upon closets of decorations sealed the deal.
Khimaira was the one and only stop on our list of venues...that is how much they impressed us.

Literally dozens of the guests at my wedding said it was the most gorgeous wedding they've been to, and everybody had an awesome time. Linda is the best, and Corina is so sweet! They really do give the most personalized service there, and the amount of decorations that they have available for use is unmatched and a huge source of savings. Make sure you book extra early (at least a year, if not 2 in advance), and take a good look at their Pinterest page to figure out which decorations you'd like to use (there are a ton of choices, so keep good notes!). And definitely take advice from Linda...she knows what she's talking about.

Katie Sent on 09/28/2013We worked with Linda and her farm for our wedding and absolutely loved it! They have a gorgeous field and farm that can be used for the ceremony and an incredibly beautiful, completely renovated barn that serves as the reception venue. Linda was incredible to work with and let us visit as much as we wanted before the wedding to plan decorations, etc. They have this HUGE decorations closet full of votives, cake stands, mason jars, linens, paper lanterns, etc - basically anything you could want - that you can use as part of the fee to rent the venue. It was a huge help to our budget to use these items to decorate that past brides had left behind and then we left a few things for future brides to use! You pay a reasonable fee and have the farm for the whole day of your wedding (and the evening before to pull out decorations and also to have your rehearsal). You also bring in all of your vendors so you can make the style, food, etc however you would like / best fits your budget and there's so many options with what you can do and what Linda and her staff can help with.
