So thankful for them!

I don't know what we would of done if we did not hire these girls! They turned our wedding dreams into a reality and I will be forever thankful. There were a few hiccups that day due to things I had wanted, and they worked through each one flawlessly. Thank you SO much!!

Once in a lifetime wedding!

We absolutely loved working with Christina and Trinity! They were very knowledgeable about the venue and answered all of our questions. Christina was AMAZING with helping as things got closer and the weather looked bleak. It was supposed to downpour all day the day of our wedding but she did her research and gave us options, advice, and her expertise living in the Keys was perfect! Not a drop the whole night :) One thing I definitely recommend is having a day of coordinator - at first I wasn’t sure if we would need it, WE DID. Christina was our coordinator and kept things moving in a timely manner, coordinated all our vendors and took away all the stress from my husband and I. The food was delicious and everyone loved it. We both highly recommend their services!

Hiring Keys Planning & Events was the key to making our destination wedding perfect!

Christina was amazing! Her knowledge of the venue and familiarity with each of the vendors selected (photographers, DJ's, hair & make-up artists. etc.) made our wedding easy to coordinate from Virginia. Christina did everything! We gave her a little guidance as to what we wanted and she handled the rest. It was amazing!

Thank the wedding gods for Keys Planning & Events!

Hiring a "month of" coordinator was hands down the best decision I made during the wedding planning/budgeting process. I have planned many large events myself and being the type A that I am, I originally thought that I was going to do it all on my own. Luckily my then fiance convinced me otherwise and we decided to get a planner, at least for the last few weeks/day of. We worked with Christina in the weeks leading up to our wedding and she made our lives so much easier. She went through an extensive and very thorough checklist with us to be sure everything was squared away before the big day. On the day of. she was so helpful and made sure everything was set up beautifully and just how we had envisioned. She also made sure our drinks were full and we were eating, which was awesome! We have been to 8 weddings in the last year and I have not seen one coordinator as on top of it as she was. I truly do not think our day would have been as amazing and perfect as it was without her. You NEED to hire Keys Planning and Events for your wedding!

So thankful for Christina!

We hired Keys Planning and Events for Day of Coordination and decoration for our wedding at the Key Largo Lighthouse. Throughout the last several months leading up to our wedding we worked closely with Christina to sort out the last minute details. We were planning our wedding from England and Christina always made herself ready and available to chat despite the time difference. Christina did a wonderful job coordinating our selected vendors and was so easy to work with. Our best man even coordinated a surprise for us with the help of Christina, which turned out lovely. She was amazing to work with and we were really thankful for all of her help. We weren't sure about hiring someone as we felt we could probably handle it ourselves but we are so thankful we decided to hire them. Christina made things very easy and free of any stress. On the day she made everyone feel very calm and did a great job setting everything up with little direction. Her personality is one of her strengths as a coordinator.

Wedding planning from a far

Planning a wedding from another state can be very scary with trusting every detail will be just the way you want it, with Keys Planning and Events everything was covered and it was done in a very professional manner. We could not have asked for a better venue at Coconut Palm Inn and having everything fall into place with music, hair and make-up and photographer. Thank you again for such a wonderful experience.

Great wedding planning company

Keys Planning went over and beyond for my wedding. My wedding had to be moved because of Hurricane Irma and they helped me along the way with all the changes. They are a great team. Highly recommend. I was so calm on my wedding day because I knew everything was going to be ok. :)

These girls were great! There wasn't one detail that they didn't think of. We lived out of town, so needed extra guidance on the "flow" of things, which they provided. I am a little demanding at times, but they didn't mind (or at least act like it:) and always responded. They are really great and what you are looking for if you want someone to handle everything!

Trinity and Christina were amazing day of coordinators and we couldn't have done it without them. They were detail oriented, friendly, incredibly organized, and solved all sorts of problems without distracting the wedding party. I hired Trinity as my day-of wedding coordinator (really, it should be called MONTHS-of wedding coordinator) to help me tie up all the loose ends and plan the details of my Tavernier, FL beachside wedding. Living in Fort Lauderdale, it wasn't easy for my husband and I to find all of the last minute decor and finalize details because we do not live in the Keys. Trinity was a lifesaver for us. She is excellent at communication- text, phone call, email, everything! I felt like I was working with a friend! She is extremely personable which is great because hello- it's your wedding. You want vendors on your team who make you feel loved and special. If you're a bride like me and did not have a wedding planner, I HIGHLY recommend hiring Trinity as your wedding coordinator. These ladies know what they are doing! We took it upon ourselves to plan the whole wedding and eventually found it to be too overwhelming to cover every detail and still work. Between our initial venue canceling on us, and living two hours away, we just knew we needed a local's help. We reached out to them about two months before the wedding and they assured us that they would be able to help secure the remaining vendors and cover all the finishing touches. They have a great network to work with and were able to answer any question we had. Christi made our day so easy and stress free... even with the rain!

Trinity was so much more than my Day Of Coordinator, she became my friend, my unofficial bridesmaid, my therapist--everything and more that I needed for my wedding weekend. We were in a unique position as our wedding venue was damaged from Hurricane Irma and we were left with 6 weeks to replan our entire weekend. Thankfully Trinity was able to work her magic and secured us a bigger, better, MORE AFFORDABLE venue, plus helped find a new rehearsal dinner place, coordinated with changing vendors, anything and everything.
She is so detail-oriented and helpful that she anticipated me needing things before I even realized it. On the day of the wedding she was there with two assistants who personally guaranteed my husband and I had the night of our lives. From making sure we tried all the apps at the cocktail hour (because we were busy taking pictures) to keeping our glasses full and our timeline in check, all we had to do was enjoy the night.
The absolute best decision I made in the planning process was hiring Trinity. She has a true love and desire to ensure all of her couples have the best wedding ever and it is so evident in the hardwork she does. Our wedding was that much more memorable thanks to Trinity and her team.

Everyone told me to get a day of coordinator and I never really realized how much I needed one until Trinity came around! WOW! We had a couple of phone calls and met with her once before the wedding, and she left no corner unturned! We went over everything and she brought up things I could never have thought of on my own. She is one of the most organized, proactive, yet genuine people I've met. I did not worry about one single thing my wedding day and that's because of Trinity and Trinity ONLY! She even took lead in organizing my other vendors and coordinating to help them do their best job. Trinity was hands down our most organized vendor and our best wedding decision. Trinity was a life saver! I was not only planning a destination wedding, but also finishing up graduate school. Needless to say, time was precious. Loved having the opportunity and blessing to work with Trinity! Not being from FL and being military and unable to make the trip to the Keys prior to the wedding weekend, Trinity was our lifeline and assisted us with booking all of our vendors and attending tastings. Having our wedding only two months past Hurricane Irma Trinity worked nonstop to put us at ease and immediately follow-up with vendors to ensure contingency and backup plans were made :) She was attentive to our needs even 11 months out from the wedding and put us on a game plan fast to book the best vendors! During the days leading up to my daughter's wedding, Trinity was always helpful and willing to do things our way, even if she had different ideas. She was, at the same time, very candid with what she knew would not work. However, whatever decision we made, she was extremely supportive and helpful. Trinity outdid herself the day of the wedding. Under torrential rain in a venue that had no alternate space, she did everything in her power to make sure that the party would go on. She was outstanding! I would hire her again with my eyes closed. I highly recommend her!

Trinity went so above and beyond to make our wedding what it was that I don't think we'll ever be able to thank her enough. It poured nonstop on our wedding day and I didn't have to worry about single thing because she took full control, worked her magic, and kept the party going despite the rain. It is very rare for me to give 5 stars to someone in a review, especially when you have to do it in 5 different categories. However, Keys Planning and Events, specifically Trinity VanSteenburg, deserves every bit of every star given.

Trinity was our second wedding planner hired for this particular wedding. Trinity was hired 4 months before the wedding date. Although we had been planning the wedding for 6 months prior to hiring her, everything seemed to be falling apart under the last wedding planner’s control, and we decided to start over from scratch. Trinity understood the challenge and accepted confidently. She hired all new cratering companies, rental companies, and coordinated with the photographer and videographer. All details were decided, organized, and finalized within a month or two.

During the week of the wedding, all the guests and I stayed at the Coconut Palm Inn. This is the same place we held the ceremony and reception. Trinity met with us a few days prior to the ceremony to iron out the final few details. She also made it a point to stop by on occasion throughout the week to ensure we were comfortable and remind us that she was available at any time. On the day of the wedding, Trinity never left the resort. She, along with her staff directed vendors, organized the layout of the rented items, and even made sure to personally bring me a plate of food during the cocktail hour.

This is a wedding planner who listens to your ideas, and gives feedback based on her experience. This is a wedding planner who is very friendly but maintains the utmost professionalism. Most importantly, when needed, this is a wedding planner who was always available for us.

For the rate she charges (variety of options tailored to your needs) there is essentially zero reason you shouldn't have her and her team helping you make it to and through your big day. I have never worked with a more professional, dedicated and caring planner (for any event that I have planned) that comes close to Trinity. From the moment we made contact, she was the perfect partner to help bring my vision to life on the grounds of a property that needed everything brought in. She connected me with other outstanding vendors, found beautiful furniture that met my obscure needs and provided incredible and amazing staff on the day of the event. I hired Trinity as a day of planner but you get much, much more than that! She will meet with you before, be at your rehearsal, give you advice, call all your vendors, help you get supplies at a discount, and make sure your wedding is exactly what your envisioned! Other day of planner in the keys will charge 4 times her rates and only be there during your wedding day, and not know what is going on. I definitely recommend Trinity!

Trinity was absolutely amazing for our wedding in Key Largo. Not living in the keys, she took care of all the details and we did not have to worry about a thing. She did great with organizing the catering, the dj as well as the cake which was amazing! She was very detailed oriented and it showed!

Working with Trinity was amazing! I could not have done it without her. I had a pretty big destination wedding (125), with bad weather conditions on top of that. She worked with my venue and my vendors to make sure it all worked out perfectly with the last minute changes. They figured it out without stressing me out, and I know it wasn't an easy task. Trinity was an amazing wedding planner! It downpoured as our ceremony was supposed to start and she handled everyone for us. Getting them inside or under the tent. She even made beer runs from our tent to the bar (which was a good distance) in the rain and winds for our guests. She was awesome and we couldn't have had a better wedding planner or coordinator.

I can’t thank Trinity enough for all of her help planning my wedding! I had planned on doing everything myself, but a month before the wedding I realized how hard that was going to be, especially since I was coming from out of state. I reached out to Trinity, and almost immediately my stress was relieved. She’s incredibly thorough in planning, which allowed me to relax and trust that she would have everything under control. She had some great ideas that I hadn’t thought of and was a great sounding board for ideas I had. My husband didn’t necessarily see the point of hiring a coordinator, but after the wedding he thanked me for hiring Trinity because she did so much to make our day run smoothly. She’s definitely a great decision!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Trinity. She's more then just a wedding planner. She becomes your friend and truly cares about your day almost as much as you do. She's definitely a great person to have on your team when planning your wedding. I don't know what we would've done without her! We actually had some very big issues with the wedding planner from the venue we originally chose. For a variety of reasons we ended up changing our venue and started the planning process pretty much from scratch 2 months before our wedding date! Again, there just aren't enough words to express how grateful we are that we had Trinity to help us pick up the pieces and plan our wedding in less then 2 months. I didn't even get stressed out over all the problems we encountered because I just knew after speaking with Trinity that everything was going to work out somehow. Sure enough, everything turned out amazing and definitely exceeded our expectations!

I don't live in Key Largo and travel constantly. I needed someone who understood my vision and headed me in the right direction when I needed it. Trinity kept me updated and advised which vendors would be a good fit for me. Her advise and choices were excellent. Trinity was referred to me at the last minute. By last minute, I mean less than 3 weeks away from my wedding. She helped me with flowers, cake, decorations, day-of-coordination. Trinity was amazing! She was our day of wedding coordinator and she went so far above and beyond! She did two walk-thrus a few days prior to our wedding which she wasn't on contract for and she came earlier then scheduled on the wedding day to check in. We feel extremely fortunate to have come across Trinity from On The Fly Girls for our wedding on May 31st! She was the day of coordinator and did an outstanding job. There were several last minute issues with the rental company we selected and the linens that were delivered not fitting the tables. When no one could reach the rental company, Trinity literally got in her car and drove there to get the issue handled- a true lifesaver!! How lucky were we to get Trinity only a month before our wedding as our Day of coordinator? I feel like we won the lottery. She did it all. She ran around taking care of everything. I spent some well needed time alone in my room, rehearsing my vows, while Trinity took care of EVERYTHING.
I wish I could tell you everything she did, but I don't even know, because she just took care of it. Above and beyond that, Trinity and I spoke on the phone several times for a long time. She asked me every question she needed to put together the timeline. She asked me things it never even dawned on me to consider. She came early in the morning, ran the timeline, rehearsed with us all and did not leave until about 12 hours later.
Trinity is the epitome of detail oriented, which is what you want. Hire her!!!

Trinity was a Godsend! We are locals in Florida, but living in West Palm and planning a wedding in the keys (Tavernier, FL) would have been a nightmare without her. From the moment we met her until after the wedding, she was professional, and delivered on everything on time, and went above and beyond to make our wedding weekend spectacular. Our wedding day was more beautiful and magical than we ever expected and that was thanks to all of Trinity's hard work. We got married at Coconut Palm on MM 92, and the space was perfect for the intimate wedding that we wanted. The staff was extremely helpful and the hotel was beautiful. Trinity made beautiful decorations for our welcome table and for the tables herself, to help us keep the cost down, and they turned out fabulous. She also put together the best looking candy table ever! The day of the wedding I didn't have to worry about a thing, Trinity took care of all the vendors and kept the guests and wedding party in line. Even with the rehearsal dinner and the Sunday brunch she organized everything and it was fantastic. Shrimp Shack did our rehearsal dinner and our wedding food, and they were amazing! Everyone kept commenting on how great the food was at both (thanks Jill!). We had a very large brunch at Chef Michaels, and they even had little purple decorations out for us (purple were the wedding colors). I would and have recommended Trinity to several new brides since she covers South Florida; she honestly was the smartest thing we did when planning our wedding!

In order for a wedding to be successful the one million and one details need to be handled by an experienced professional. Trinity works off a finely-tuned, precise timeline that contains the exact time everything needs to start. So many moments stand out in my mind—the "First Touch" picture, seamlessly helping transition the guests from the ceremony, to the cocktail hour, to the reception, to the dancing, having beverages for the bridal party and allowing them a moment to freshen up before the pictures, even having the matches ready to go for the last dance where everyone surrounded the couple with sparklers—all these moments and a thousand more were expertly handled by Trinity, which resulted in a perfect event. She even noticed that the bride and groom were barely able to eat their own cake before they were rushed off to the dance floor, so she had two huge pieces set aside and delivered to the honeymoon suite! The groom especially appreciated it given that the coconut chocolate filling with rum glaze was his choice and his favorite ever. She never skipped a beat, and so many of my guests commented on how hard they saw her and her A+ staff working and how courteous they were. Also important was the pre-wedding preparation. Trinity attended the food tasting and gave great advice about what food combinations work best for outdoor events, and she personally took charge of making sure all the vendors were on time and ready to do the job they were paid for. The best advice I can give any prospective couple is to budget for a wedding coordinator; it is well worth the expense. When the evening was over my daughter said the words every mom wants to hear: "Thank you for giving me my dream wedding." I can honestly say it would have never happened without Trinity!

Trinity was great for my day of coordinator. All of my vendors were familiar with her, and all have worked with her in the past. I knew I didnt have to worry about that. She really helped assist me with setting everything up the day of the wedding, I had nothing to do with any of that. I just got ready all day with my girls which is what a bride should do on her wedding day. Trinity kept the time line going, and was very alert as to what was going on the whole night. She was there in the morning of our wedding, and stayed until the reception was over. She took care of giving my vendors tips, etc. She really took care of my husband and I and made sure we got a big plate of food to eat. She definitely is experienced with weddings and knows how to make sure your whole day runs smoothly. Trust me you dont want to coordinate your wedding alone, it takes a lot of stress and responsibility off of you!

Pulled off a gorgeous wedding in under 30 days!

We chose Keys Planning and Events because they were very responsive, kind, organized, and were confident they could pull off our wedding in the Keys in under 30 days, and they succeeded! The wedding was absolutely gorgeous down to the littlest details. It was exactly how I envisioned it. The food was amazing. Many of the guests still talk about how incredible the tuna wontons were! Would absolutely recommend!

I thought planning a destination wedding was going to be so difficult to pull together. By chance I contacted Trinity and immediately hired her. Best decision! She went above and beyond and was such a pleasure to work with. Hire her, this girl knows her stuff!

Trinity was amazing, my husband and I lived in the UAE and initially tired to arrange the wedding ourselves. We were soo pleased that we were referred to Trinity - she was fantastic. Some of our items like venue, registrar was already arranged but she was invaluable with suggestions for other vendors and after the mix up with our cake lady (caused by me) was able to suggest an alternative lady who baked us exactly what we wanted. Also hvaing never been to the Keys before turning up a week before our wedding her local knowledge was invaluable. In the end our wedding was exactly what we wanted, relaxed, beach side family wedding :-) and we have Trinity to thank for that.

Trinity was SO helpful in planning our wedding.. trying to do it from North Carolina was not easy - we had tons of questions and she was always able to help. The day of, Trinity was literally a godsend. I seriously didn't have to do anything - she had everything set up perfectly and looking back at pictures I am just so happy with how everything turned out, it was exactly what I had pictured in my head. There wasn't a point in the day where I was stressed or worried at all, I knew Trinity would be there to alleviate anything that could have gone wrong. I definitely recommend her services.

Trinity was great from the very beginning. We got in touch with her about catering and made an easy choice to let her handle all of the rentals and set up. She is willing to help with any task, no matter how large or in out case, small. The food was great, the decorations were great, and she was extremely helpful throughout the entire planning process.

Trinity was GREAT! She helped me after I found several rental companies that were less than helpful. She was very accommodating and flexible and the only complaint from my guests was that tables we stripped a bit early...however, there was a time limit on our contract so that's how it goes. Great job, great stuff, great people.

Cussed at my family was on site for 30 minutes.

I hired a wedding planner to be sure my family could relax the day of the wedding and that did not happen. If it weren’t for my sisters stepping up to help, I would have been setting up my own wedding. Not the experience I was expecting for $5500 in total invoices paid. Her employee Christina quit halfway through my planning process and I believe she was the reason this business ran before her departure. (Notice when her positive reviews stopped.. 2018)

A few of the issues I experienced:
- I was told I would receive a discount if I rented items from her. I did rent $2500 worth and no discount off the planning services ($3000).
- I coordinated a date drove 5 hours to visit the venue and she had an excuse as to why she couldn’t make it morning of.
- prices changed after I decided not to use her for catering. Chargers went from $1 to $2.
- We verified one of the rentals I was renting from her could be delivered by a certain time. 5 minutes before said time she said “we tried to deliver the tables this morning and the gate was locked so we left” so my sister had to finish setting up after showering and getting ready. (And when she did arrive she informed us she only had 30 minutes for the rehearsal and she was leaving).
- the makeup artist she recommended also didn’t show up to the trial on my trip down.
- I ordered pizzas to be delivered and gave her phone number to verify the morning of. She told the pizza company she didn’t order them so they had to drive to the venue to verify the order day of.
- She was on-site the day of my wedding for less than 30 minutes because she had another event. She sent her catering manager to cover for her and told him “your only responsibility is napkins and chargers” (Might I remind of the $5500 total invoice) and after a lot of frustration and pleading he stepped up and helped and did a great job. I did tip him because he worked very hard to recover the night.
- When asked why she wasn’t coming to the venue the wedding day she cussed and yelled at my new sister in law.

DO NOT HIRE. I would give anything to go back and save myself and my sisters the stress of dealing with her.

Do not hire- fraud

I feel that it is important to write this review because I do not want any other bride to experience what we did. Please beware, this company is a scam.

I am the sister of the bride. My sister hired Trinity to be here wedding coordinator. First encounter with Trinity was not good. She did not show up to the initial meeting. She had an excuse why she cancelled last minute.

On the day of the rehearsal, she did not show up until 4:30 with tables. She had another excuse why should could not be there that day until 2 hours before rehearsal started to drop tables. She dropped the tables and left. Never helped at all. We were stuck setting up all of the rehearsal decorations, tables, table clothes, everything. When she showed up for rehearsal, she let us know that she only had 30 minutes until she had to leave for the night. When we spoke with her earlier that day she mentioned she would be there all day tomorrow (wedding day) With the exception of a couple hours.

Wedding day she showed up for 20 minutes before she made an excuse that she has to leave again. Never saw her the rest of the time. We were left to set decoration, move chairs, and help organize for the wedding. She ended up sending a person from her office that handles food catering to run the wedding. When we called her she started to yell at us, complaining about a wedding that she was at. Not sure if this was a double booked weekend but no one should have to experience the lack of customer service that we experienced with this company. They should not be allowed to collect money from people if they do no help with the wedding. FRAUD!! BEWARE
