Wendy and her team are amazing. From the beginning of wedding planning, she was very responsive and quick to answer all of my questions. She was able to execute ideas that I could envision in my mind but was not able to fully explain. Leading up to the big day, I was so nervous, but looking back had no reason to be! Thanks to Wendy everything was perfect. If you want a stress free wedding day and someone who can fully execute your vision- you need her! -

She had clear goals and recommendations for each chapter of planning. Her preferred vendors list is a collection of incredible people who genuinely care about making your day everything you’re dreaming of. And Wendy’s reputation precedes her—everyone at our venue and every single vendor raved about her and told us we were in good hands. Nothing made that more evident than the big day. Everything was precisely timed and I truly was able to enjoy the day knowing that Wendy and her team had everything handled. Not a single decoration was out of place and it was even more beautiful than I imagined. That absolutely would not have happened if not for Wendy’s guidance, leadership, and vendor recommendations. I couldn’t have been happier. Her assistants Craig and Tisa were also a delight to work with and showed patience and care for our family members. From the very beginning, the wedding planning process was smooth, organized, and surprisingly stress-free. Wendy kept us on track with manageable assignments each month, which made planning our entire wedding feel easy and enjoyable instead of overwhelming.
When the wedding day arrived, Wendy and her team took care of absolutely everything. To this day, we still have guests telling us it was the best wedding they have ever attended and that everything was perfect. That was all thanks to Wendy and her incredible team. If there were any issues or problems behind the scenes, we never knew about them because they handled everything seamlessly.

After choosing the coconut palm inn in taverneir for our wedding, the GM Tracey recommended Wendy and her team to us and we were so glad she did! From start to finish Wendy was personable, organized, helpful, calm, flexible, and kind. From our first initial planning calls to our last, Wendy made the whole experience as stress free as possible and truly kept our vision, likes, and interests while helping us pick vendors for our special day.

Our Key Largo Wedding
We are from Indiana, so having a destination wedding can be difficult especially when you’re not from the area. Wendy was helpful is every way when planning my wedding states away! And she was even more helpful the day of the wedding. I never felt overwhelmed even when things didn’t go as planned. She was in constant contact with me the entire month of my wedding. I cannot recommend Wendy more. Especially if you’re having a destination wedding!! She’s everything you want and need in a planner!!! -

We hired Wendy and her team as our Month of Wedding Coordinator and it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We were coming from New Jersey and we wanted someone who not just knew the places but could also help us in that final crunch time. She made so many great recommendations after I gave her some invoices and pointed out things I should look into or do. One example was getting string lights for the beach area which I never would have thought of if not for her and our guests talked about how good of an idea that was. The day of the wedding also could not be more smooth. She was there early to make sure we got everything we ordered and were all in the perfect places. I am a worrier and I was nervous I was going to be anxious the whole day and during the wedding but Wendy put my mind at ease and we had the absolute best day ever in large part due to Wendy and her team. -

We had a destination wedding in the Florida Keys and my goal was to be 100% stress-free on our wedding day. Wendy and her team made that happen! I went with the month-of coordinator option since I was planning a wedding from out of town. Wendy was so helpful in the months leading up to our wedding, answering any questions I had via email about the process and regarding vendors. In the weeks leading up to our wedding she really went to work and made sure everything was taken care of with vendors and that each and every bit of the day-of schedule was ironed out. I am honestly not sure how I would have gotten by without her! I'm generally a great planner myself, but she knew so much about the process that I had absolutely no idea about. My wedding day was virtually flawless, and any minor issues were dealt with easily. I even broke a shoe fifteen minutes before walking down the aisle and Wendy was there in mere minutes with super glue! Absolutely phenomenal. I honestly could not reccommend Wendy and her team enough! Everyone at our wedding told me I was the most stress-free, happiest bride they had ever seen, and I know that was largely due to Wendy and her team having everything handled! -

I actually couldn’t have done it without her!
I truly cannot imagine my wedding experience without Wendy. The thought of planning a destination wedding really overwhelmed me and I didn’t feel like I had the time to create the wedding I truly wanted. Luckily I found Key Destination Weddings & Events! Wendy was always available for questions I had, and had a solution for every issue I ran into. Even though the idea of a destination wedding felt scary at first, working with Wendy really made the experience seamless.
The day of my wedding, all I had to do was walk down the isle, eat cake, and drink champagne. Wendy and her team handled every little detail allowing me to truly enjoy the day. She managed all the design elements of my wedding as well, and was able to create the modern tropical vibe of my Pinterest board dreams. I am forever grateful to Wendy for creating this day and these incredible memories for me! -

Fantastic and Flexible
Wendy was amazing! We hired her for month-of coordination and we secured the major vendors, but then she swooped in and made all the details thereafter super easy—for both us and the vendors. We had our wedding planned for a beach but we were rained out but she fixed everything very quickly and we were married on a beautiful veranda. Not what we had planned but just as perfect! Also, I had to worry about nothing the day of. I was able to focus on my wedding and have lots of fun. If we had hired someone else with less experience with our venue, we likely would have gotten married inside, but Wendy knew our venue (Baker’s Cay) like the back of her hand and came up with the idea for the veranda. We are so thankful, and think having Wendy was one of our best investments in our wedding day. -

If you're on the fence about hiring a planner/coordinator, DO IT. For yourself, for your family and friends-DO IT. Wendy and her team made my wedding day so stress free even my family was confused. They did everything-from arranging the gift table and florals and signage to having a flower girl basket I stupidly thought the florist would provide (they didn't). I would have been a mess sending my mom to Walgreens had Wendy not taken charge and with no qualms, went and got a basket with no problem at all. They kept the whole day on time so nobody was bored and waiting around for us or any particular vendor-I didn't answer my phone all day, and they brought all the stuff in the bridal suite back to my hotel room so I didn't have to lift a finger. These girls were worth their weight in GOLD. This was all for our little 35 person scaled down, twice postponed ceremony after 2 years (which they were also amazing at accommodating our 2 date changes!). If you have more than 50 people at your event-you need to hire KDWE! -

From the moment we met with Key Destination we felt so comfortable with them. We couldn't have planned this wedding from up in New York without all their advice and support. Planning a destination wedding is never easy, booking and planning a destination wedding just prior to the COVID pandemic taking over the world even less so, however, one of the best decisions we made was picking Wendy Cole of Key Destination Weddings to be our wedding planner! Even before I became a bride, I have always been a bit stressed/particular/anal/hands on/and dare I say, difficult (lol), and becoming a bride, then a COVID bride, magnified these qualities ten-fold. Wendy handled my millions of questions, emails, concerns, and anxieties with ease and grace. When interviewing different planners, I really was looking for someone that I not only clicked with and shared my vision for the wedding, but also was very familiar with the other vendors, venue, location, etc. Wendy checked all of these boxes and more! Not only did she used to be an event manager at my venue, which made her very familiar with the ins and outs there, but she also took care of making an incredibly detailed (11 page!!!) wedding outline which had every possible detail that you could imagine, and even some that you would never think of on it. We chose the “month-of” package, which included pretty much full planning from approximately one month out from the wedding, however, because I was a destination bride, I also chose to do the “Design” package, which included her taking care of all design details for the ceremony and reception from the very beginning. We had multiple, several-hour phone calls, I shared my Pinterest boards, and my Google spreadsheet with her and she became intimately aware of my exact vision for the wedding. Then, she created Design Boards for each event which showed the exact floral designs, rental items, as well as ceremony and reception setups for me to see. It was as if she entered my brain and was able to get it all down on paper in a way that I never could. And not only did she do this, but she EXECUTED it flawlessly. Between coordinating with my MANY vendors, keeping everything moving smoothly, and troubleshooting any issue (which I don’t even think there were because everything was so perfectly done, and if there was, I never knew about it which is how it should be!), she really made our dream come true. Even down to the little things at the end of the night that I never would have thought of: she took our card box and personal décor/details items back to our hotel room so we could continue enjoying and go directly to our after party, she found my earrings that I ditched somewhere halfway through dancing and laid them on the dresser for me, saved our “Bride” and “Groom” place cards and placed them on our bed with the leftover flower girl rose petals arranged in a heart, AND left us a beautiful hand written note and bottle of champagne. Wendy, I cannot thank you enough for planning, creating, and fulfilling every aspect of our beautiful wedding, we are forever indebted to you. For any future bride reading this, CHOOSE WENDY and KEY DESTINATION WEDDINGS. You will be glad you did!!! -

The Best Around!
Wendy and the KDWE team is incredible. There is no simpler way to put it. I'm an event planner myself and understood the value of hiring a planner to help coordinate all of the last minute wedding details. My main worry was making sure to have the right person, who understood my vision and could follow through and execute without my involvement. And believe me when I say Wendy exceeded my expectations and went above and beyond in every way possible. She was organized, timely, creative in problem solving, responsive and incredibly kind. She made me feel like she had my back and would do anything needed to ensure a smooth and memorable day. If you're on the fence about hiring a planner or not, I strongly encourage you to talk to Wendy. The main benefit in my opinion is that it will allow you (and your family and closest friends) to truly enjoy your day instead of worrying about the set up, decor etc. You won't regret working with Wendy or KDWE!! -

Wendy was my month of coordinator Feb 2021, and I could not have done without her. We wanted a casual flowing wedding and there were many timing details that I had not thought about which she advised on, and they were certainly needed. She was willing to work with my ideas about timelines and my more casual approach to the evening. She did a great job keeping us on track and at the same time, it had the unhurried flow I was looking for.
She did not allow anything to concern me on the day and I was grateful to know that she was outside dealing with caterers/musicians/table settings - all the little details that can become overwhelming, she just handled without having to ask me questions. If there were any areas of concern I have no idea, which is exactly how it should be.
She made herself available to me before the wedding when needed and was a great resource of local knowledge. She knew all the vendors we chose to work with and had a great relationship with them all so worked with them on schedules and coordinating deliveries, setups, and breakdown. I did not get involved at all on the day - and that is very hard for me as I like to be in charge and in control of things I have planned and have a vision for. I trusted that she would execute my vision and she did 110%.
I would recommend Keys Destination Weddings to anyone looking to get married in the Florida Keys. -

Carin and Wendy were amazing wedding planners! We interviewed over 5 wedding planners and after speaking to Carin, we knew that she understood what was important to us. We got married in Key West, Dec 2020. Carin was a great communicator, reliable, organized, and made everything come together. Carin's services was well worth every penny and more! Carin guided me through every decision on my wedding day. For example, Carin gave me bride tips on how not to cry when walking down the aisle by looking up at the sky. Carin coordinated with the venue, caterer and rental company. Another example of Carin's amazing job was when the linen for the tables came in too short and she immediately took care of it by calling the rental company and having them bring back the correct size (hours before the wedding ceremony). Wendy made sure I had dinner and was hydrated throughout the Reception. -

They were very prompt in responding, patient, understanding and accommodating, especially navigating through all of the challenges of COVID. Every single detail was accounted for throughout the planning process. On our wedding day, Wendy and Carin were there behind the scenes handling everything and perfecting every detail. Our day was completely stress-free. My husband and I were able to be present, soaking up and enjoying every moment of our wedding celebration. INDESCRIBABLY AMAZING! My wedding weekend was storybook perfect thanks to Carin and Wendy!
There is nothing you can’t dream up that Carin and Wendy can’t coordinate for your wedding weekend! They nailed everything from the design and music to the food and fireworks. Everything flowed more than smoothly and every attendee said that it was the best wedding they’ve ever attended. This is especially amazing because shortly after dinner and right when dancing began a rain shower came pouring down, but Wendy didn’t skip a beat even though we chose an open air outdoor reception without a tent. The DJ threw up an awning and our friends and family danced the night away under the stars and rain. I look back at the photos from the amazing photographer Carin introduced us to and I see all of the unforgettable moments and intricate details that Carin and Wendy put together to make this a wedding I couldn’t even dream of. I am so beyond grateful and lucky to have had them and would recommend them to everyone for all types of planning services!! -

Best wedding planners EVER!!!!!!
Carin and Wendy were such an important part in the success of our wedding.
When my close friend recommended them, I didn’t doubt it and gave them a call. Since then, they were beyond amazing.
We felt they were so involved in our wedding as if it was theirs, always active answering to our questions by phone or email. They explained how they worked and asked us what we had in mind for our wedding and worked to make our dreams come true! They are very professional, organized, they know many vendors and share their recommendations with you and if you provide them with a new vendor, they are great as making it part of their team and getting everyone on the same page.
The day of, they are AMAZING! They show up early with their team (of amazing planners) and set up absolutely everything without bothering the B&G. It seems they are invisible and at the same time you see them taking care of absolutely everything! They even make sure you eat and drink enough water! How sweet is that? :)
They take care of all your belongings, envelopes, gifts.
Very happy to say that because of them our wedding was a success!

Planning a destination wedding can be challenging and stressful! Since we decided to hire Wendy Cole and her team, our stress level went down! Wendy's attention to detail was a huge reason my wedding was so successful. She spent hours on phone conferences with me and my mom. When it came to the day of, her goal was to let me and my mom enjoy the day...stress free. When I first saw everything, I was amazed. Wendy and her team made my wedding vision come to life. She didn't miss one detail!! Additionally, the team did an amazing job organizing and collecting all of our personal items after the reception. I contracted Keys Destiination Weddings to help me with my wedding planning on a very short timeframe. My wedding date was decided & planned in less than two months. Wendy was my wedding planner and she was nothing short of amazing! Wendy provided me with a wealth of resources for vendors which helped a lot! Due to my short term situation, a lot of those vendors were already booked. However, Wendy kept providing me more vendors and made sure I had everything lined up for the big day. Once I had my final consultation with Wendy, she took over...
On my wedding day, I was actually able to enjoy the entire event! Wendy had everything under control and planned down to the minute. All of my guests commented about how my wedding “flowed so well”. No one got bored, everything kept moving, and everyone had a great time! Wendy truly made everything come together & she was on top of it!

When I started planning my wedding, I thought I could do it all myself. I contemplated the need for a wedding planner at all, thinking I could save money there. Ultimately, I decided to hire Wendy and Key Destination Weddings, which was 110% worth it. There is no way anyone could do everything on their own and still enjoy the day. Wendy thought of so many details that I wouldn't have considered, and also helped me keep a level head when I would get stressed out. Our Wedding turned out to be absolutely perfect, mostly due to Wendy and Karen from Key Destination Weddings!
