Alexandra Sent on 12/26/2017Carin and Wendy were truly the DREAM TEAM! We hired her for Day of Wedding planner services and they truly went ABOVE AND BEYOND for our wedding day. Carin the owner is the most organized person you will ever meet! I was a little nervous about hiring anyone because i am extremely controlling and it's very hard for me to let others take over; especially when it came to our DIY wedding. But she makes sure to know every single detail for your day, from the small details to what you want out of the day, the timeline, she handles the rehearsal the day before, handling vendor issues, keeping photographer within the timeline, and making sure the whole day runs smooth. She is super personable and all around the sweetest person ever! She took 100000 lbs off my shoulders and my stress basically disappeared when I met with her and went over all our details. She did more than I could ever imagine and even gave me some words of encouragement before walking down the aisle. I would truly recommend her and her team a million times our wedding day would've never been the same without her and Wendy!!!! <3

Let me start by saying how incredibly fortunate we were to have chosen Wendy as our planner! She was the BEST. Our perfect day would not have been what it was without her. She was extremely organized and didn’t skip a beat throughout the whole process. She quickly responded and followed up on emails, gave honest recommendations, reassured us if we had any concerns, and was there the day of with her team to make sure everything ran smoothly. Wendy was our wedding planner and was exceptional from start to finish! From the beginning she took the time to get to know us and our vision for our wedding and then miraculously made it happen without one hiccup! Every detail for our three day event was thought through with meticulous attention and every vendor she matched us with was extraordinary. Wendy made the entire process easy and stress free - we honestly could not have done it without her! Her assistants, Kim and Tisa, also went above and beyond. Many of our guests commented to us that it was the most amazing, most beautiful and overall best wedding they had been to! And every guest raved about Wendy, which says something!

Fantastic and Flexible
Wendy was amazing! We hired her for month-of coordination and we secured the major vendors, but then she swooped in and made all the details thereafter super easy—for both us and the vendors. We had our wedding planned for a beach but we were rained out but she fixed everything very quickly and we were married on a beautiful veranda. Not what we had planned but just as perfect! Also, I had to worry about nothing the day of. I was able to focus on my wedding and have lots of fun. If we had hired someone else with less experience with our venue, we likely would have gotten married inside, but Wendy knew our venue (Baker’s Cay) like the back of her hand and came up with the idea for the veranda. We are so thankful, and think having Wendy was one of our best investments in our wedding day. -

Amanda Sent on 03/18/2018When we decided to do a destination wedding in the Florida Keys we chose to work with Carin at Key Destination Wedding & Events, and I am so glad we made that choice. From the moment we met with Carin to learn more about her and the services she offered, we knew she would be the right person to help us plan our wedding. Carin & Wendy are both extremely knowledgeable about the Florida Keys area and all the local vendors. They were so helpful in setting up appointments, tastings, and vendor meetings for us and ensuring we chose the best vendors for our budget and style. Through their help, I felt like I was able to establish relationships with each of our vendors and not feel like "just another bride" coming through.
When our venue was destroyed by Hurricane Irma in Fall 2017, and we had to find a new location just 4 months before the wedding, Carin was able to help us find a new venue that we loved even more than the first venue. I don't know what we would have done without her help - her expertise of the area and her inside knowledge of the state of the Keys after the hurricane was invaluable.
On the weekend of our wedding Carin & Wendy were there every step of the way, helping with set-up and break-down, and ensured everything ran smoothly. Throughout our wedding weekend I was truly able to sit back and watch it all happen and soak up every moment. Choosing to work with Carin for full-wedding planning was the best and most-important decision we made for our wedding. -

I actually couldn’t have done it without her!
I truly cannot imagine my wedding experience without Wendy. The thought of planning a destination wedding really overwhelmed me and I didn’t feel like I had the time to create the wedding I truly wanted. Luckily I found Key Destination Weddings & Events! Wendy was always available for questions I had, and had a solution for every issue I ran into. Even though the idea of a destination wedding felt scary at first, working with Wendy really made the experience seamless.
The day of my wedding, all I had to do was walk down the isle, eat cake, and drink champagne. Wendy and her team handled every little detail allowing me to truly enjoy the day. She managed all the design elements of my wedding as well, and was able to create the modern tropical vibe of my Pinterest board dreams. I am forever grateful to Wendy for creating this day and these incredible memories for me! -

If you're on the fence about hiring a planner/coordinator, DO IT. For yourself, for your family and friends-DO IT. Wendy and her team made my wedding day so stress free even my family was confused. They did everything-from arranging the gift table and florals and signage to having a flower girl basket I stupidly thought the florist would provide (they didn't). I would have been a mess sending my mom to Walgreens had Wendy not taken charge and with no qualms, went and got a basket with no problem at all. They kept the whole day on time so nobody was bored and waiting around for us or any particular vendor-I didn't answer my phone all day, and they brought all the stuff in the bridal suite back to my hotel room so I didn't have to lift a finger. These girls were worth their weight in GOLD. This was all for our little 35 person scaled down, twice postponed ceremony after 2 years (which they were also amazing at accommodating our 2 date changes!). If you have more than 50 people at your event-you need to hire KDWE! -

We hired Wendy and her team as our Month of Wedding Coordinator and it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We were coming from New Jersey and we wanted someone who not just knew the places but could also help us in that final crunch time. She made so many great recommendations after I gave her some invoices and pointed out things I should look into or do. One example was getting string lights for the beach area which I never would have thought of if not for her and our guests talked about how good of an idea that was. The day of the wedding also could not be more smooth. She was there early to make sure we got everything we ordered and were all in the perfect places. I am a worrier and I was nervous I was going to be anxious the whole day and during the wedding but Wendy put my mind at ease and we had the absolute best day ever in large part due to Wendy and her team. -
