    The single best decision we made when planning our wedding!

    Hiring Kelly & Co. was the single best decision we made when planning our wedding. Kelly and her team gave us the wedding of our dreams! When we first started working with Kelly, we had a venue and photographer, but not much else. We only had a vague idea of what we wanted for colors and design. Kelly was able to take our ideas and flesh them out into a full and GORGEOUS vision. It captured exactly what we wanted so perfectly. She helped us chose vendors that worked perfectly with the vision and budget. Kelly made the entire process SO much easier than it would have been otherwise--arranging vendor meetings, dealing with all the nitty gritty logistics, and thinking through every detail.

    The day of the wedding was perfect--my husband and I were able to be in the moment and enjoy the entire event without worrying about a thing. If anything didn't go exactly as planned, I was blissfully unaware (as were our guests). Kelly and her team made sure everything flowed smoothly, from flipping our space after the reception to even making sure we had snacks ready in our hotel room at the end of the evening. We had so many comments about how the ceremony and reception captured our spirit as a couple. Our guests had a blast, and we did too.

    I honestly cannot imagine a more perfect day, and it's all thanks to Kelly & Co!

    Head Over Heels is the absolute best!

    I had the pleasure of having Natasha coordinate my wedding this past October, and she did a fabulous job. She is so organized, attentive to detail AND big picture, and did an excellent job directing my massive family/wedding party at our rehearsal and on our wedding day. Natasha allowed my fiancé and I, as well as our families, to feel completely at ease on our wedding day. It was the greatest gift of all - to be able to enjoy our big day fully without any worries, knowing that we had Natasha and the Head Over Heels team running the show!

    Kelly, Natasha and team made our wedding day a dream come true and are worth absolutely every penny! We had a long engagement (1.5 yrs), and met with some other planners who would only book us at full-service rates that were over our budget and needs. Kelly was happy to take us on for a partial planning service (we already selected our venue, which included catering) without any unnecessary strings. She jumped right in getting us set up with photography, video, DJ, and hair + makeup within a few weeks of signing the contract. Kelly has a fantastic list of suggested vendors – everyone she suggested was top-notch, and across various price points. She helped us work through our budget and let us know where we should and shouldn’t think about cutting costs, and what was realistic for the kind of wedding we were hoping for. Kelly coordinated all of our contracts, reviewing each line item and following up when there were price issues or changes. Natasha joined Kelly for a lot of our meetings, and was a wonderful addition! She asks great questions at vendor meetings, takes detailed notes, and understood our vision incredibly well.

    While working with Kelly and Natasha for the last year, my husband and I constantly said how happy we were in our choice to work with Head Over Heels – we knew the price was well-worth the peace of mind and time-savings during the wedding planning process. On our wedding day, we felt that even more.

    Our reception was dream – every detail was exactly as we visualized, and that is all thanks to Kelly and the HOH team. The flowers and décor were picture-perfect, and even better than we imagined. All the minor details were perfectly thought-through, and Kelly was happy to jump in to move things along and make sure everything ran smoothly. We had a top-notch vendor at every turn, all suggested by Kelly, and it made for an absolutely incredible wedding day.

    Kelly was AMAZING from start to finish. I never doubted a single thing that would happen that day because we talked through it tons of times. She worked hard for us via texts, phone calls and endless emails. Her girls were spot on on the day. Everything went flawlessly. I loved working with Natasha and Allie. They were so sweet and supportive. When vendors wouldn't want to do it our way Natasha stepped in and assured me that me that everything would be perfect. They worked long and hard to get my day perfect and I would recommend them to anyone needing a planner! It was fabulous!

    Wow! Kelly was amazing to work with! She was very organized and had everything prepared and ready to go before our big day even started. I have to admit that there was a struggle to let someone else plan this most important day of my daughter’s life. Yes my daughter and I did not agree on everything either. What I was amazed is that Kelly found a way to make us both happy and to slowly build our trust as we moved ever closer to the wedding day. She contacted and sent schedules to every one of our vendors and made sure everything was in order prior to our wedding day. She was also very quick to respond (text, email, phone) whenever we had questions or if something unexpected came up during planning. Everything was taken care of the day of and we didn't have to worry about any of it.

    So by the day of the wedding, Kelly had earned our full trust and we were all able to enjoy the wedding day and knew that she would handle any issues that may arise. It was so nice to give our full focus was on our special day and absorbing the joy from every moment, confident that Kelly would just handle it. We also enjoyed working with her assistants, Natasha and Ali, and also with Lauren. What a beautiful team they make! Hiring Kelly to be our planner was one of the best decisions I made throughout the entire planning process. If you're looking for a planner or are still debating on whether or not you should spend the extra money, please take my advice and go with Kelly. Your wedding is too precious to trust just anyone and it is flies by so quickly, we are so happy we chose Kelly. No one else could have pulled off this miracle with such grace, joy and love.

    I just wanted to thank you all so much for all of the hard work that each of you put in to making our wedding so awesome! Especially Kelly! I know I might have not have been the easiest to deal with at times but I am so happy and grateful for each of you for dealing with me. Everything looked absolutely beautiful and just as how I had pictured! :) You made the day effortless and and allowed us to focus on friends, family, and fun. The design was impeccable and execution was flawless. I am so glad we decided to have you for the whole wedding process. All of the vendors were phenomenal, and I felt like it went off without a hitch! Best wedding planners in CLT and I will defintely refer you to any future brides! :)

    Words cannot describe how much I appreciate the amazing job Head Over Heels did with my wedding. Lauren was my head planner and she is absolutely amazing. Nothing but good things to say about her professionalism and organizational skills on my wedding day. She tactfully dealt with several situations on the wedding day and I had several people tell me it was the best wedding they had been too. Everything went smoothly and it was the most perfect day. Lauren you are the best!!!!!!

    Kelly and the whole Head Over Heels team are beyond amazing!! Hiring Kelly was one of the first things we did once we got engaged so she was right by my side through the ENTIRE planning process. There is so much more to planning a wedding than I ever imagined, but Kelly is such a pro - I can honestly say I would not have survived the last year without her! She has wonderful relationships with the best vendors and was always on top of EVERY single detail to make sure everything was exactly what we wanted. She was so wonderful I even asked her to help me with our rehearsal dinner which she was an absolute angel for doing! Kelly truly went above and beyond for us and I could never thank her enough for everything she did to make our wedding weekend a dream come true. As amazing as she was during all of the planning, countless txts & emails, meetings with vendors, and even a few of my crazy meltdowns lol It was the day of the wedding that Kelly and the Head Over Heels gals just absolutely blew me AWAY!! Everything was absolute perfection! I felt like a princess in a fairy tale the whole entire day. They took the worry out of everything! There is not a single thing I would have changed. They made everything go so smoothly - I literally had zero stress because they totally had everything covered. I will never forget the first time I walked into the reception to see the decor for the first time. I had pictured it in my mind so many times, but it was far more beautiful & magical than I ever could have imagined! Kelly even added a few surprise touches that she knew I would LOVE! We got sooooooo many compliments on our wedding & I have no doubt in my mind that Head Over Heels is the reason!!!

    There truly is not enough that I can say about Kelly and her team at Head Over Heels. My review will not do Head Over Heels justice. From start to finish Kelly was very responsive and knowledgeable about the wedding planning process. She knows practically everyone in the Charlotte area that is in the wedding business. She was super helpful in making sure we found vendors that were classy yet stayed within our budget. After seeing her previous work we were so comfortable to leave details to her and her teams discretion during the wedding day. During the wedding day her team was amazing. They made sure everyone was where they needed to be and made sure we stayed calm. The day was simply amazing. I definitely recommend Head Over Heels for any couple!

    Where do I even begin? I could not imagine my wedding without Kelly Martin. When I began my wedding planning process I became interested in the idea of a "day of" coordinator to assist with flipping my venue space. I didn't think I would need a total wedding coordinator. However, when I met Kelly, I just knew. From that point on she was my go-to.

    Kelly was spot on throughout the entire process. Whether it was by text, phone calls or emails she was always so available to me. Even if it was past midnight, she would text me right back without hesitation. She always made time for my questions and concerns. Kelly, made me feel as if I was her only client despite having other events going on. She just "got" me, not only as a bride but as a person. I have a very hard time envisioning the final product of something and when I would get overwhelmed over something she would always reassure me how beautiful it would all turn out. I wish I could attach all the pictures to show how amazing everything looked.

    Additionally, the vendor choices Kelly gave us were amazing! Each vendor exceeded all my expectations! Our food, cake, linens, etc. Everything turned out amazing! The best part is that once the decisions were made, Kelly and her team took it from there. I never had to worry about contacting anyone, returning anything. She took all those tasks away and just let me focus on other things. Kelly and her HOH team were so sweet in helping with the final details of my wedding. Whether it was going to get a card holder, order napkins or even buying something as small as wood glue-they did it all and were right there if we needed anything prior to and during the big day.

    This review cannot express how thankful I am for Kelly and her team. Not only was our wedding flawless, but I feel that I gained a true friend from it. If you are looking for a wedding planner, do yourself a favor and reach out to this wonderful team.

    My husband and I had our wedding at Champagne Manor, which I found randomly searching venues online. It was an incredible venue, but I think the absolute best part was they recommended Kelly Martin at Head Over Heels for a planner. When we first met with her I knew she was going to be incredible! She was so easy to get along with and I could tell she really listened and understood what was important to us. She exceeded every expectation and then some!

    From that moment on I honestly don't know what I would have done without her! She found all of our other vendors (all of which were INCREDIBLE as well) and she was able to make the wedding of our dreams come to life, and somehow be even more beautiful than we could have imagined! She took a lot of what we talked about, plus my pinterest board, and really got to know us, which made our wedding completely unique and totally us! If anything went wrong the day of, I had no idea because she dealt with absolutely everything so well!

    I honestly don't know how she kept everything organized so well. I am in a PA program and know for a fact I would have been a complete mess and things would have been total chaos if I didn't have Kelly keeping everything on track for me! I feel so lucky to have had her help planning our special day, and I feel even luckier to be able to call her a friend because she truly is the most amazing person!!

    If anyone ever needs a planner, Kelly is 100% the best option! She was able to work with our budget and give us the best options that we could afford, and in addition she made our wedding the most special day I could have ever asked for. I love you Kelly!! I truly can never thank you enough for all you did for us!

    I honestly cannot begin to explain how much Kelly Martin did for my wife and I as our wedding planner. We had THE most amazing day, and absolutely none of it would have been possible without her.

    From the very beginning of the whole planning process we felt like Kelly was in our corner and cared about our special day as much if not MORE then we did. Kelly is attentive, creative, dedicated, organized and TALENTED. No matter what your budget, Kelly has the expertise and artistic ability to give you the wedding of your dreams. Her ability to manage all of the vendors and moving pieces is amazing. She's a multitasking pro and can simply do it all. All of her suggestions were relevant and tasteful. She gets to know you, know what you like and can just create this vision of a perfect day that you'd never be able to create on your own. Best of all is her enthusiasm in working with her clients. Kelly's reputation more than speaks for itself, and I feel special knowing that she was willing to work with US in the first place!

    For every couple who comes on this website looking for a wedding planner, I would recommend Kelly 100/100 times. She is a remarkable woman who is a consummate professional and is truly at the top of her craft. I am proud to have been able to work with Kelly, and am proud to now call her a friend. If you're looking for a planner, do yourself a favor and call Kelly! I promise you, you will NEVER regret it!

    Kelly was INVALUABLE to our wedding planning process. My fiancee and I had a very short timeline to pull everything together - approx. 5 months. Kelly helped us get right to work figuring out all the elements needed for the overall feel of our wedding. I was not a bride who dreamed of her wedding day her entire life, so I felt extremely overwhelmed with all the decisions that needed to be made & who to work with. She knew right away which vendors would fit our needs and our budget.

    Kelly was ALWAYS available to me - phone, text, email, calls. Kelly is great at reading people, and could easily tell if I was starting to feel overwhelmed during vendor meetings with all the decisions that had to be made. She was quick to jump in and provide her professional opinion so I could narrow down the options & make the best decision for our wedding.

    On the day of our wedding, Kelly & the HOH team worked tirelessly in 95+ degree heat to get everything set-up for the event & ensure the day flowed smoothly. Both Kelly & her team were extremely attentive to us & our guests - checking-in with us as the evening unfolded & never making us feel rushed to move onto the next thing on our timeline (cake-cutting, toasts, etc.). I've heard from several girlfriends & various family members that they felt the night was "FLAWLESS" - that is a testament to Kelly & her HOH team.

    Honestly, our wedding day was more than we could have ever hoped for! I TRULY believe I was able to absorb so much of the day & just be IN THE MOMENT with our family & friends because I felt incredibly confident that Kelly would handle anything that came up. In trusting Kelly to take on the planning, timing & flow of the day, I was able to experience all of the intense, joyous emotion that marked the occasion. I cannot thank her enough for all of her time, energy & support. She is an OUTSTANDING planner & an EXCEPTIONAL person.

    I know Kelly Martin, owner of Head Over Heels, on a personal and professional level. I had the privilege to work as one of her part time planners a little over a year ago and needless to stay we have remained close since I had to leave. Working in the wedding industry allowed me to begin the wedding planning process with a little more knowledge then the typical bride. I was familiar with other wedding planning companies and vendors in the Charlotte area, and there a lot of great options to choose from but there was no question in my mind I wanted Head Over Heels there on my big day!

    Head Over Heels is hands down the best Wedding Planning company in Charlotte. Kelly and her team work around the clock to make their brides happy. They are there for you all day, every day, throughout the planning process. There is absolutely nothing her and her team wouldn't do for you; from making sure you and your significant other have a fresh beverage in hand to safety pinning your ripped bustle. Kelly's entire team wears more hats then you can imagine.

    The planner in me wanted details of how the setup was going, and confirmation that our transportation, florist and band were all set and ready. Within a few minutes of my million and one questions, Kelly gladly reported back to me along with pictures to make sure everything was what I wanted it to be.

    From the moment my now-husband and I met Kelly, we knew we were in the hands of an extremely qualified and outstanding professional. She is an excellent listener and advocate for her clients, which allowed us to trust her completely during this process. She kept our vision and requests at the forefront of decisions, never letting anyone try to pressure us into something we didn't want for our big day. She was spot on with all of our vendor options, making sure we met with people that matched not only our vision but our personalities. In addition, she always made sure our vendors were on the same page and held all of them accountable, which resulted in a smooth, stress-free wedding. Even in moments where I felt overwhelmed by the process, Kelly's ability to keep calm and put things in perspective put me at ease - which is the reason I have her saved as Kelly "Lifesaver" Martin in my phone. I can't imagine planning this day without her - her sense of humor, work ethic, and attention to detail made it so much easier for my husband and me (and our families) to enjoy the day. We now have a great friend in her and would recommend her in a heartbeat!

    Kelly and her team were absolutely wonderful! I did not see the need nor did I want the extra expense but my daughter & the caterer talked me into it. I could not have had such a beautiful, magical & flawless day without Kelly & team. Kelly is a professional. She is confident yet calming,a task master but flexible with an incredible eye for detail.
    This is a second marriage for both of us and we wanted our wedding in the garden patio, lake side with a sit down dinner on the porch. We had 68 guest.
    Kelly transformed my porch into a beautiful setting with flowing table cloths, flowers and lots of candles. My guests called it magical. Kelly had every detailed covered. The synergy between her and the other vendors were amazing, creating a relaxing & fun day for all. Everyone kept commenting how calm I was. I knew Kelly had everything under control. Do not hesitate to hire Head over Heels & team. Kelly will deliver more than you even expect!

    I can't even begin to describe our wedding planning/preparations/wedding day with Kelly with Head over Heels. I was one of those people that didn't think we needed a wedding planner. Oh my gosh, how wrong I was. Kelly was beyond amazing. She did everything possible to make this the most special day of my daughter's life. She literally took care of EVERYTHING. She orchestrated the most efficient, smooth running day...when usually the wedding day is a hectic day, she made everything perfect and full of joy. My daughter and I didn't have to worry about a thing. Her creativity, connections, energizer battery personality and her compassion and care made this a day we will all remember. I am hearing raves about the reception, and quite honestly we give Kelly and her fabulous team ALL the credit. We sincerely could NOT have done it without her. She traveled here, there and everywhere for us to make everything perfect, and did it all with her precious smile. Every wedding event NEEDS KELLY!! She thought of things we completely forgot about or didn't know. She is organized and truly puts the bride first. I truly can't say enough about her. My daughter feels she's made a friend for life...me too!

    Kelly Martin at Head Over Heels NC was the best thing to ever happen to me. I am still on Cloud 9 thinking about how my wedding was absolutely PERFECT! I'm extremely organized and a bit of a control freak, so I didn't think I needed a planner at first. Well, I can admit when I'm wrong and boy was I wrong. I don't know what I would have done without Kelly. She was worth every penny and then some! You can't put a price on what she did for me. She took so much off my plate, kept me sane, & allowed me to just enjoy being a bride. The weekend of my wedding was the most stress-free & enjoyable time thanks to Kelly & her team. I knew I was in good hands from start to finish and she made my dream wedding into a reality. Most couples are probably so relieved after the wedding is over but ours was so perfect that I would do it all over again next month!

    Overall I am really glad we hired Kelly as our wedding Planner. She was extremely helpful for making decisions and everything came together at the last minute to make our Christmas wedding day come true. I would hire Kelly again if I need other services in the future. She seem extremely passionate and understood the wedding industry extremely well.

    Head Over Heels was by far the most valuable wedding vendor we hired. Maria and her team did our day-of wedding coordination, but they did so much more than just day-of work for us. I loved being able to ask Maria for recommendations and insights throughout our wedding planning process, especially because she seemed to know every vendor in Charlotte. Starting about 6 weeks before our wedding, Maria started taking over much of the logistics coordination, which was an absolute blessing in the hectic weeks before the wedding. Going into the wedding weekend, we were so comfortable knowing that Maria and her team were there to take care of all the details, allowing us to relax and just focus on enjoying the celebration. Maria is professional, very responsive and just knows her stuff. She is an absolute rock star, and I wholeheartedly recommend Maria and the whole Head Over Heels team.

    Maria with Head Over Heels is my hero! We had an outdoor wedding at a private lake residence for 140 guests and could never have pulled off such a wonderful event without Maria and her team. Whenever we needed anything, Maria and her team were right there and usually a step ahead! I would without a doubt recommend Maria and Head over Heels to anyone looking to have the wedding of their dreams!

    Maria Pryschlak was the day of wedding coordinator for my daughter's wedding and she made the entire ceremony and reception an enjoyable event for all of us. When we first met she was calm and knowledgeable which instantly put us at ease. Throughout the process she was proactive ensuring the details were all set and we could relax. She responded quickly to emails and provided feedback when appropriate. Her team present at the venue helped insure the evening went very smoothly. I am so glad we chose Maria as she is very capable and understanding of the anxieties associated with a DIY wedding. I would highly recommend her as a wedding coordinator. I appreciate how much she helped us to have a very memorable ceremony and reception.

    Being a DJ for over 20 years I have always appreciated working with a wedding planner/ director that knows what they are doing ( I don't always find that to be the case). Previous to the wedding that we worked together on October 4th I had not met Maria but I could tell via her emails that she was very organized and very professional. When I arrived at the wedding site, she was already there ( and I got there early) and she made the effort to introduce herself and directed me to where I was to be set up for the wedding. During the entire wedding/ reception she made it a point to check with me on every detail and it was easy to see why the bride had chosen her to run the show. I look forward in working with her again and would highly recommend her in a heartbeat. She was one of the best planners I have ever worked with. You cannot go wrong hiring Maria!!

    Maria was awesome! Always responded very quickly and was available to help with anything! She was patient and so nice to all of our family and wedding party! We had a larger wedding party so I know it was a lot to handle! Can't thank her enough. The day was perfect.

    Kelly and her team at Head Over Heels did an absolutely fantastic job with my wedding planning and day-of coordination! I met with Kelly shortly after picking my venue and could tell from her depth of knowledge and enthusiasm about the wedding market in Charlotte that she was the right choice for me. Kelly helped with every aspect of my wedding, other than the venue and the officiant, and ended up saving me more money than we spent on her (and her team's) services. She was extremely helpful in directing me to vendors (all of whom did a fantastic job), and also in researching new vendors through her contacts in the industry when I wanted a wider range of choice. She attended every meeting with me, regardless of the time of the appointment, and took care of contacting every vendor to set up meetings.

    All of our guests complimented me on the event, saying how happy and stress free me and my mother seemed (we're both high stress, so this was remarkable in itself), and how smoothly everything went. What I was most impressed by, however, was that Kelly went the extra mile after the wedding and took all of our gifts, huge adirondack chairs, lawn games, etc. back to her house so that we didn't have to deal with keeping track of everything.

    I would truly recommend Head Over Heels to anyone - regardless of whether you choose day-of coordination or wedding planning - you won't regret it!!

    We had Head Over Heels take care of the day of planning, and we couldn't have asked for a more professional job! Kelly and her team took care of everything from start to finish, which in turn made for a perfect wedding! I would highly recommend this company if you want it done right!

    I started off the long search of trying to find a day-of planner at our wedding venue. They have an on-site planner that they had contracted, and she was really cheap, so I set up a meeting with her. 2 hours later, she had not asked my fiance and I one question. She did not know anything about our wedding or about us. Perturbed, I turned my search to the internet. Many of the planners I contacted didn't answer or were already booked for our wedding day. Then, finally, I stumbled upon Kelly at HOH. She answered my emails within minutes, and we set up a meeting. The first thing she said was "tell me about your fiance!" What a relief! We instantly clicked. I knew I had to have Kelly and her team at my wedding.
    I kept her updated here and there with Wedding information. I am a very do-it-yourself bride, and I was hoping she would have enough information to put together a timeline! And that she did--her timeline was so on-point. When the big day came, I had no stress. Even though we started 30 mins. late, Kelly had it under control. She pushed all of the vendors to get their jobs done, when they needed to. Everyone was in the right place at the right time, and I am not aware of anything that went wrong--which is how it should be! Kelly is the bomb, she knows all the right questions to ask and all the right things to do. She had every detail covered. She made my wedding a perfect and glorious day and I could not have asked for a better person to have been my wedding planner! Thank you Kelly & team! Our wedding would not have been perfect without the help of all of you!!!!

    From day one, working with Kelly Martin (Head Over Heels) was AMAZING! My fiance and I resides in Knoxville, TN and was planning a wedding in Charlotte, NC. I immediately knew that we would need help with planning and coordinating our wedding. Based off reviews on wedding wire, we gave Kelly a call. At our first consultation we hit it off right away. They were everything we needed in a wedding planner. I've told Kelly plenty of times that they were God-sent :) Kelly was very professional, attentive, and prompt. She responded to all my requests and correspondences in record time. Whenever there was a bump in the road (and trust there will be during the process), Kelly was right there to handle it all!     Kelly was a huge help to us during our year-long wedding planning process! There is no way that we could have pulled off our wedding successfully without her. She really helped us take our vision and make it a reality. She was genuinely excited about our wedding and the fall motif that we wanted, which made it so much easier to work with her because she had suggestions that we didn't even think of. She thought of every little detail and made the process much less stressful. Our wedding ended up being so much more than we could ever dream of and our guests said that it was the best wedding that they had ever attended. The work that Kelly and her staff did to make our wedding day amazing was above and beyond!

    My wedding planner was Kelly Martin. Words cannot even begin to describe what a blessing Kelly was to our wedding planning process! She is the most organized, caring, fun, and optimistic person I know! I could NOT have had the wedding I did without her! She is such a perfectionist and very detail oriented - like me! She was incredibly flexible and worked around my busy schedule! She was easy to get in contact with and responded quickly to all my texts and emails. We got along great and developed a friendship along the way. Not only was she my wedding planner, but she was my supportive friend :)

    My favorite thing about Kelly was that she always kept my wishes and desires above everything. When others tried to change my vision or make suggestions on how we should run our wedding, she would always stand up for me and remind them that the bride had the final say. This was so important to me because I don't really stand up for myself. She often times knew me and my wants better than I knew myself!

    Her connections with the professional wedding vendors in the Charlotte area was also very helpful! She is so knowledgeable about the vendors and what they offer, that she could suggest ones that would fit our vision and budget. She took the guesswork and research out for me, which was great! I trusted her completely and was never disappointed! She truly had my interests at heart and never pressured me into anything.

    My wedding day was absolutely perfect! I actually got to enjoy it and not stress about anything!! I can't say enough good things about Kelly and Head Over Heels. It was the best wedding decision I ever made! I would highly recommend them to any bride. Kelly deserved way more money than she asked for. It's such a great deal for the service you get. She went above and beyond, and my husband and I are forever grateful!

    It is with a 5 star rating and the highest of praise that I write this review for Maria Pryschlak, Wedding Planner from Head Over Heels.  Our daughter interviewed several planners from the Charlotte, NC area before choosing Maria and, early on, we learned that she is, indeed, worth her weight in gold.
    In the wedding industry, reputations are made and ruined easily; word gets around quickly.  Maria Pryschlak has been planning weddings for many years; her diligence has paid off in an industry where many people come and go!
    Maria knows the business inside and out, from vendors, venues and everything wedding- related. And she does her homework; if there is something she isn't familiar with, she finds out! She knows the "who's who" in Charlotte and who to avoid - every bit as important! 
    More than helping the bride plan her dream wedding and making it happen, Maria has incredible people skills.  She is soft spoken but easily takes command of any situation that arises. Maria wore many different hats and handled every incident with aplomb.  Anything we asked of her, she was willing to tackle.
    Maria Pryschlak was intuitive to the bride and groom's needs and never disappointed. Furthermore, she was available to anyone else in their circle who reached out to her.  She surrounds herself with well-qualified assistants, all necessary to get the tremendous job of hosting a wedding done successfully.

    When I started working with Kelly she immediately gave me great ideas to form a perfect wedding. She was very helpful in answering questions and guiding me in the right directions.     Maria at Head Over Heels was nothing short of a joy to work with! She was SO very helpful to me...from giving suggestions on vendors, getting vendor discounts, offering tips to help save on costs, communicating with vendors, offering ideas to make our day unique and special, to just checking in to see how I was doing. She is ALWAYS accessible via phone, email, or text. Her response time is faster than anyone I've ever seen...seriously! It doesn't matter what time of day you reach out to her, she is speedy (and I work some crazy hours!) Maria even emailed me several times the week before my wedding just to see how I was doing and if I needed anything at all from her...now that's service! Her assistant, Lauren, was fantastic as well and I can see she will follow in Maria's footsteps! All in all, Maria was worth the money we spent three times over. I can't express how much stress and pressure she took off me, allowing me to enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime experience!

    I can't say enough good things about Kelly! She's so amazing, sweet, so professional, so accommodating and flexible. She handled the details of my wedding and gave me peace of mind. She went above and beyond what I expected to make sure I had a great wedding! She was faced with many challenges from my venue to her not being familiar with my culture's customs but she handled it like a champ and made sure the wedding happened without a glitch.     Kelly (now OWNER!) of Head Over Heels was the first planner who responded to my e-mails when I decided I absolutely could not plan my wedding without help. She was friendly, prompt, genuine, professional, and yet down-to-earth throughout the whole process. She didn't respond to my e-mail with, "I'm sorry, but we only take weddings with budgets of $50K+" like some other planners. She never encouraged us to go beyond our budget, but rather helped us navigate and negotiate which things to prioritize (wedding flowers) and which things to minimize (a towering 7-layer cake for 80 guests; a live band) to fit within our budget. Kelly is extremely detail oriented and saw to it that no stone was left unturned. She responded promptly to all e-mails and calls, and ensured that our wishes as a couple were met and respected. Kelly went above and beyond. For example, we had initially planned a sparkler exit, but when we found out a week before the wedding that the reception venue wouldn't allow fireworks, Kelly arranged for glow sticks through our DJ, and footed the bill to boot, apologizing for not "looking into that sooner." Kelly connected us to the best, amazing vendors within our budget and helped us negotiate every detail in every contract. She was our advocate so that we could sit back, relax, and enjoy our wedding day to the fullest (which is nerve-wracking and emotional enough!). Do yourself a major favor and invest in Kelly for full-service wedding planning. She's worth EVERY PENNY!

    Wow I am so pleased and impressed with the performance of our planner Kelly Martin, no detail was too small for her and she always was looking out for our best interest with our vendors.

    She made this event a huge success, saved us money, which more than made up for the cost of hiring her services and most importantly took the stress out of wedding planning for us.

    We made an amazing decision by hiring Kelly Martin of Head Over Heels to be our
    wedding planner - she was extremely professional, responsive, and kept everything
    running smoothly. Kelly has an enormous network of, and knowledge about, vendors
    in the greater Charlotte area. More importantly, she knows "what works" and "what
    doesn't work" when planning a wedding and reception. Kelly's role as our wedding
    planner was extremely crucial since we live in the New York City area and had limited
    availability to travel down to Charlotte during our wedding planning process. In short,
    Kelly was the quarterback of the A-Team. She worked with us to hire the best and most
    appropriate vendors for our wedding, and helped us get an incredible value from all.

    Kelly always took the time needed (whether it was during the day, evening, or weekend)
    to meet with us, catch up on the phone, or respond to emails to answer all of our many
    questions and comments. The attentiveness and attention to detail Head Over Heels
    provided was remarkable and resulted in a flawless wedding ceremony and reception
    that still has our guests talking about it a month later!

    We were thrilled with Kelly Martin!
    As the groom, it's my job to judge our planner's performance not necessarily based upon my satisfaction, but on my bride's. Based on what I saw from my (now) wife, Kelly gave her the wedding of her dreams; and she'll do the same for you too!

    Our wedding was in the Charlotte area, but we were planning it from Missouri with an international guest list. Not only did Kelly gracefully overcome geographic challenges, but she also flawlessly incorporated very unique cultural traditions, themes, food, music, and decor.

    Everybody will need their planner to "go-to-bat" for them at some point in the process. At the slightest mention, Kelly knew how to get us what we wanted, when we wanted it. She stood up for us in every situation and got us the best deal possible.

    When it comes to being detail orientated, aligning with your needs, showcasing their flexibility/customization skills, creativity, and providing incredibly personalized attention, nobody beats Kelly Martin at Head Over Heels.

    Let's put it this way; the service we got from Kelly was worth five times what we paid. But more than that, Kelly treated us like she would treat her best friend. She has the unique ability to put herself into the wedding; viewing the process both from the planner's perspective and that of an active participant.

    Bottom line: There is nobody who could have made a more perfect wedding experience than Kelly Martin at Head Over Heels.

    Kelly Martin with Head Over Heels was wonderful to work with. Prior to our wedding at The Palmer Building, Kelly was readily available to provide us with recommendations and examples on anything that we may have needed. She is unbelievably organized, and helped to keep us on track every step of the way.

    We started planning with Kelly about a year out from our event, and she was great about developing a timeline of deliverables, and helping to make sure that no detail was left out – the final event was everything I could have wanted, and leading up to it would have been a thousand times more stressful if not for Kelly’s help and her ability to keep everything together.

    During our actual event, Kelly was there whenever we needed her, while at the same time never in the spotlight. She kept everything on schedule, and always made sure my husband and I, as well as our wedding party and families had everything we could have needed. It would not have been the same event without her help – and we definitely would have forgotten something along the way if she was not there to catch us.

    I would recommend a planner to ANYONE planning a wedding. We would have not have been as relaxed, and we definitely would not have been able to enjoy the night as much as we did without a great planner there to make sure everything was perfect.

    As an out-of-town bride, I needed a LOT of help planning my wedding-- I didn't have any idea how to find vendors, and my time in-town was limited. Head Over Heels provided a list of vendors to choose from, gave venue recommendations even before I signed a contract, and was there on my big day to make sure everything went smoothly.

    In hindsight, I wouldn't even THINK of having a wedding without having someone I trusted to coordinate everything, and I wouldn't choose anyone but Head Over Heels to do it for me. The vendor list and support alone was worth the cost, and every vendor did a fantastic job.

    Excellent advice, an artful eye, and professional service at a reasonable price. Highly recommended!

    I am soooo glad I hired Laura and her team for our wedding. I went to a wedding show with the primary goal of finding a wedding planner. I talked to several of the planners in attendance and Laura was by far the most down to earth, friendliest one I met. I immediately knew she was the one I wanted to hire and never regretted the decision for a minute. Her vendor recommendations were excellent, she was extremely helpful in dealing with some difficult vendors, and she and her team made it possible for me to completely relax on my wedding day knowing that everything would be set up exactly the way I wanted.     The girls at Head Over Heels were so down to Earth and easy to work with. I planned my wedding and let them stress about it all on the wedding day so I could hang with my girls. It was perfect!

    Laura and her team were great! She was always easy to get in touch with and whenever I had a stressful moment she was there to help! She was wonderful and so was her team at the wedding/reception. All in all, I had no worries going into the big day and a lot of it was from the help I received from HOH!! Definitely would recommend them to all of my friends!

    Head Over Heels was perfect for my wedding... Wow those girls really did a wonderful job. I know a few weeks has past and I'm still thinking how helpful Laura and her staff were. I can't thank Head Over Heels enough for helping me during this stressful time. I also would like to thank my personal attendant from HOH for retrieving my 'special' grooms gift. You saved me... :)

    Loved Kelly at Head Over Heels. She made the wedding day go so smoothly, and even got absolutely soaked helping keep the band's equipment dry during a sudden downpour. She was extremely organized and reminded me about at least 10 items or plans that I had overlooked. Head Over Heels was perfect!

    I am the mother of the bride. We live in Connecticut and my daughter in Charlotte,NC where she got married. Maria Pryschlak was fabulous! She was responsive to all our emails and so very helpful and very flexible in organizing and putting together the wedding that my daughter and son-in-law dreamed of. We would highly recommend her.

    We found this wedding planner to be excellent. Although we had some last-minute problems with a couple of our vendors, she resolved the issues immediately and behind the scenes so that we had no aggravation whatsoever.

    Kelly Martin of Head over Heels was excellent. I work full-time with business travel, and have 2 pre-teens. Kelly handled so many of the details but always engaged my wishes and decisions at just the right time. She is super organized so Kelly would make sure I was focusing on and making decisions on the priority matters. I never felt overwhelmed by too many things at once. I had not met Kelly before hiring for my wedding, but she learned my likes, interests, and needs very quickly in the process. That helped so much when finalizing the details. Head over Heels was recommended to me by the manager of my selected reception venue. He stated their organization was superb and I totally agree. My husband and I had a great wedding day thanks to Kelly!

    Definitely could not have put together such a beautiful event without Kelly and her team. If there were problems during the event I had no idea-they took care of everything. it was a fun, fantastic night we will always remember.

    The owner has nothing but excuses, so I am sharing my thoughts. First, the wedding party trolley left us at the church. 3 HOH team members were inside, and no one stayed to make sure that one of the 2 trolleys didn't leave. Next, my bustle broke. While that is not Maria's fault, if she had the video I sent showing the bustling available, maybe it would have been done correctly and not broken in the first place. But she let her phone die, and could not watch the bustle instruction. It was only one bustle point that broke and it should have been pinned at ONLY that point. I was better prepared than Maria, she did not have safety pins as outlined in the contract. Once they located safety pins, they did a horrific job. I asked a family friend, a wedding planner, pin the dress, but the girls would not back off. They pinned it, with pins extremely visible all the way across my dress AND they hiked it SO high that the seam of the hem was halfway up her calf, AND the lining was showing. In our photography contract excessive editing 150.00/hr: hiding their pinning in hundreds of photos is in fact excessive editing. The timeline was another issue. While Maria was helpful via emails, the timeline was sent MULTIPLE times with incorrect information, and not done in a timely manner. Vendors emailing and asking for it, and it had not been done. I essentially did the timeline myself, with her help via email. The only thing HOH did that was helpful, was packing up after the wedding. We brought everything to the venue on Fri, she was supposed to meet us there, but never showed. The HOH team set up at the venue on Sat, but we could have done that ourselves for the grand that we spent, since the wedding wasn't until 7pm. Overall, we are extremely disappointed with the service provided AND the lack of follow up, only excuses.
