KC is the best.

I was honestly a little nervous about my hair it's pretty fine, and often looks great for the first 5 minutes after a blow out but after that it looks like I rolled out of bed.

KC used hair extensions I got, and made my hair look like perfect well into the night. I had it mostly down with one clip and the curls looked perfect. After a long day of pictures, dancing, and after-party head banging. I woke up and even after sleeping on it looked decent enough to primp a bit and go to my wedding brunch.

KC is also a solid person, very chill, professional. It was a pleasure to have her around.

KC is an incredibly talented stylist who did an amazing job with my wedding hair. I can't recommend her highly enough. A few highlights:

She's super talented: KC can turn flat, boring hair into a masterpiece. She gave me a hairstyle I didn't think my hair was capable of based solely on one picture I gave her. She also did an amazing job with my Mom and Mother-in-law--their hair looked amazing. Perhaps most impressively, everyone's hair looked good all night, through rain, humidity, and dancing. KC is truly a class act of hair stylists.

KC is flexible and accommodating: KC did a great job at my trial, but I wanted a few adjustments for the actual wedding. She did a perfect job making those few adjustments and my wedding hair was exactly what I wanted. The most impressive part is that, because I know very little about up dos, I know I wasn't communicating my expectations very clearly. KC still managed to understand exactly what I was saying and translate it into a beautiful hairstyle that was just what I was looking for.

She is just a lovely person. KC's cool and collected personality was an amazingly calming presence on my wedding day. I'm so grateful for her everything she did to make my wedding day wonderful!

I had very specific thoughts on how I wanted my hair for my wedding…I also have very finicky hair that does not seem to hold curl or any style for more than an hour without a miracle happening. So when I started searching for a hair stylist, I was super picky. After a failed trial with a different company I came across KC’s name through a makeup vendor. I looked her up and found she was one of the few hair stylists that has some pretty complex style up-dos in her portfolio.
When I had her over for my trial I was super impressed with what she did with my hair! She listened to my concerns, looked at a couple examples from Pinterest, and then worked her magic. My hair turned out amazing and lasted throughout the day! KC was super patient with me and was open to the “accessories” I wanted to add to my hair style. The day of the wedding she was cheerful and made sure by hair was perfect and to my liking. My mother and bridal party all loved what she did with their hair was well! My hair lasted over 12 hours in my Chignon updo, and I received MANY compliments from our guests on how well my updo looked!

KC did an awesome job for my wedding! She created unique braided styles for each of my bridesmaids and a loose updo for me that I loved. I tried two other hairstyles and couldn't figure out a style that worked for me, and KC nailed it on the first trial. She is a master at what she does and a relaxing presence during what can be a stressful day! Many thanks!

My MOH and I had the pleasure of working with KC! We both showed her pictures of our vision and she replicated them beautifully. I live in NY but was married and Alexandria and didn't have time to do a trial and she still styled the bridal hair of my dreams. Per the recommendation of my local stylist, I came with hair extensions which she incorporated into the style with ease. Our reception was outdoors in the good old VA humidity and it still looked great at the end of the night, even after some hardcore dancing. She was on time, professional, fun and a great value. I would recommend her to any of my girlfriends in the DC area!

Working with KC was wonderful—always professional, and so talented. She and her colleague Stephanie created the most beautiful up-dos that reflected each of my bridesmaid’s personality. After I requested a few modifications following a very helpful trial process, KC took them all into account and flawlessly executed the exact hairstyle I had hoped for on my wedding day. KC was great! She comes to your house for the trial which was nice. All my bridesmaids brought pictures of what they wanted their hair to look like, and it turned out exactly how they wanted it. I did two different trials with my own hair until we found what I really loved, but she was flexible and helpful in figuring out what I wanted. I was very impressed by her. She was also TIMELY, she arrived at 8:00 am at the hotel for our hair which technically would've started at 8:30 am. Highly recommend!

I was most nervous about my hair on my wedding day. It sounds silly, but it's true! You see, I have crazy, frizzy hair that does whatever it wants, when it wants. I had two hair trials and easily picked KC because I could tell she knew what she was doing, and had a lot of experience. The style that I requested during the trial turned out not to be what I wanted (it happens!). But I talked to KC in the weeks between the trial and the wedding, and we worked out what we would do. Then right on the wedding day, I changed my mind again! KC didn't even blink, and she didn't get annoyed. She immediately set to work on what would turn out to be my DREAM wedding hair style -- like she read my mind, only better. KC can adapt to whatever you need, when you need it, and she has great taste. When KC was done and I looked in the mirror for the first time, I heaved a great sigh of relief -- it was perfect. KC provided hair services for my 10.2 wedding (this is the bride!) She provided both trial and day of services. I loved my bridal hair. I provided her a bunch of ideas and adjectives (think whimsical, elegant, romantic) and she made the vision come to life. KC is awesome. I had five brides maids. She did differerent hairstyles for all of us. I had short 20's finger curls, one bridesmaid had an up do, three had long curls, and another had braids. She also fixed a cute crown of braids for my flower girl. She has a very wide range of talent. She can really do anything. In addition to her talent, she is extremely professional, friendly, fun, and overall a very cool person to spend your wedding day with!

Working with KC was a true pleasure. She was always responsive to my many emails, and made things super-easy by traveling to my apartment for my hair trial. At my hair trial, I showed her a few photos, we talked about what sort of look I wanted, and she whipped up a style that I liked so much that we didn't even have to try anything else. She re-created the look beautifully on the wedding day, and many guests complimented me (and my bridesmaids) on my hair and the bridesmaids' hair. KC was so friendly and fit right in with our morning-of-wedding chatter and chaos.

KC provided the hairstyles for my daughter's October 25th wedding. She did a wonderful job on my daughter and the attendants, & everyone was so pleased. She was very responsive when we "tweaked" the style she had done at the hair trial, and my daughter's loose side bun was so beautiful and perfect for her classic vintage lace dress. She knew what to do with the attendants even when we really hadn't planned on a style for them. She was great to work with and we felt very comfortable with her.

KC and her assistant did an amazing job on my bridesmaid's updo's. I grew up with my mom as a hair stylist and initially I was a little worried about never meeting the person who would do the hair for my wedding. Working with KC was such a treat, her work so wonderful and she helped our whole group look and feel their best on the big day! I really enjoyed working with KC during the months leading up to the wedding, she was responsive and helped with suggestions for how to style everyone's hair and complete the look.

She even helped me map out the "getting ready" schedule which was great since coordinating everyone's hair & make up can be a bit hectic. The morning was stress free and it was fun spending time with KC, all the bridesmaids and family members commented on how fun it was to work with her!

I was so happy with how my hair looked on my wedding day thanks to KC. She was able to give me exactly what I wanted based on a picture I found online. KC was great. I hired her to do my hair, as well as my eight bridesmaids, two junior bridesmaids, and three moms. KC came to my house to do a trial for me and one of my bridesmaids. We both loved what she did but my the style I chose did not get rave reviews from my bridesmaids. So I found a few other options and KC came back to my house several months later to do a second trial. The second one was perfect! On the day of the wedding, KC arrived early with all of her supplies and a colleague to help with all of the styling. They were both really friendly and fun to be around, and responsive to all of the girls' requests (most of whom had no idea what they wanted to do). When one of the girls finished early, we asked if one of the flower girls could jump in line and get a couple of curls. It looked so cute, we asked if the other three could as well! KC took it all in stride and all of the girls looked amazing and were done right on schedule.

I love KC! When I got married, she was still doing both hair and makeup, and she did an amazing job on both. My trial was great, but there were a few tweaks we both agreed on, and she followed through on my wedding day. She showed up to our hotel room right on time, was kind and calm, and made all of us feel at ease. I had a stress zit right between my eyes and she made it disappear!

I have been in enough weddings to know that it's difficult as a hair stylist to please all the members of the wedding party. Amazingly, my four bridesmaids and my mom were all thrilled with their styles, and they were all totally different and just what they asked for.

KC isn't cheap, but you get what you pay for, and in the end, her expertise is worth every penny. I felt so gorgeous that day, and my hair and makeup lasted all through the night even in the heat and humidity. Highly recommend KC!

KC did my hair for my wedding and I could not have been happier. I showed her a picture of a hair style I wanted, and she recreated it exactly. My hair stayed place all night -- everybody said I looked exactly the same at 1 am as I did when I walked down the isle! She did the hair for several of my bridesmaids and they were all thrilled as well. She was flexible, very affordable and was a calming presence when we were all getting ready. KC did such an amazing job on my hair as well as my bridesmaid. Everything stayed perfectly in place throughout the ceremony and reception without being over hair sprayed as some stylist do. I received complements all night on my hair and could not have been happier with how my bridesmaids hair turned out based on how they wanted their hair styled. KC is very professional and responsive to e-mails. She also plans accordingly to the timeline and when you would like everyone to be ready which was nice so we were are able to do pictures before the ceremony. I would highly recommend her if you want a stress free day.

KC and Stephanie did such an amazing job me, my 6 bridesmaids, my mom, and my mother-in-law's hair! KC perfected my style when I had my trial a few months before the wedding and it was absolutely perfect the day-of! From the first photo to the last my hair looked exactly the same! KC was fantastic. She is a gem among hairdressers; she actually listen to what you want and does it! She's a sweet person and I enjoyed working with her. My bridesmaids and mothers were all very happy with how their hair looked. I must give credit where it's due; KC deserves an award. I came down with a bad case of nerves on the morning of my wedding and was non-stop throwing up. If it wasn't for my bridesmaid's prescription nausea medication, I might not have made it down the aisle. KC was a calming force and did my hair, even while I had a garbage bag in between my legs! It was hard trying to figure out how to get my hair and makeup done for an early Sunday wedding, when no one else in my wedding party or family wanted theirs done. Alot of companies have a minimum person requirement, and beauty salons aren't open as early as I needed them to on the wedding day. I was so lucky to find KC! She came to our house for a trial, and stayed professional and calm as my screaming children ran around the house and created chaos. She was pleasant, friendly, on time (actually even a little early) and got the work done quickly, but beautifully. She has the perfect blend of professionalism and friendliness and I was so relaxed getting everything done on the wedding day. She listened to what I wanted exactly, didn't try to push any other make-up or hair ideas on me and was patient and responsive to all my billions of weird questions and concerns. My make-up and hair lasted from 8 in the morning at my house, through a windy 2pm ceremony with a ridiculous amount of tears, a ton of hot and sweaty dancing, and lots of yummy food and it was still going strong at the hotel about 1 in the morning. No touch ups except for an occasional lip gloss was ever needed! I would definitely use KC again for any special event and will be telling everyone I know about her!

K.C. Felton was AWESOME to work with. She is so patient and laid back - she is the perfect person to help you get ready (and stay calm) on your wedding day! She was very professional and did a great job on everyone's hair. She did 5 bridesmaids and my mom's hair in addition to mine and she made everyone look FABULOUS! I was so happy with the way I looked - she made me look like a better version of myself. She was also very flexible and was just a joy to work with. I would absolutely recommend her to a friend for a wedding or special occasion.

KC was such an amazing and wonderful stylist. It was such a pleasure working with her. She is extremely kind, flexible, and hard-working. During the trial, KC took the time to do my hair and make-up just as I had envisioned. She listened to all of my ideas and was a joy to talk to.
On our wedding day, KC did an incredible job with my hair and make-up. I absolutely loved how my hair and make-up looked. Both my hair and make-up continued to look great throughout the entire wedding day. I received many compliments on both. KC also styled my bridesmaids' hair. She did a wonderful with each one. Their styles also lasted the entire day.
Just as we were about to leave for the venue on our wedding day, it started pouring. This is right after we had gotten our hair and make-up done. KC was so kind that she offered to get my car and drive it up to the hotel entrance in the pouring rain. KC greatly exceeded all of my expectations. I couldn't have asked for a better stylist. :o)

KC was so AWESOME!!! For the trial, she did such an amazing job and was able to copy the pictures perfectly that I gave her! I was so pleased that I couldn't make my decision for my hair until about 2 weeks before the wedding. KC even brought extra things for my hairdo to help make it look better. Her and her assistant were able to do my 9 bridesmaids, 2 flower girls, my mother and myself all before my 2:30 wedding! They were amazing, and we were done early! Not to mention, everyone's hair looked great. KC and I were SO excited about how my hair came out, it was better than the trial and better than I had expected! I was just so happy and it really made my day perfect!! Thanks KC!

All I can say is "WOW"! KC and her assistant Stephanie were absolutely amazing on teh day of my wedding! Everyone looked and felt beautiful! I can not thank her enough for my hair and make-up. It truly set the tone of the entire day & event. I had a zillion compliments and will eagerly recommend her talent to anyone in the area. KC is also super-cool, easy to talk to and "one of the girls". It was a pleasure meeting and working with her for my big day! THANKS KC!!!

KC did my and my 5 bridesmaids' hair for my recent wedding. She was very responsive to my emails as we planned for the hair trial and wedding day. The day of the wedding, KC styled my bridesmaids exactly how the each wanted their hair to look, which was great as many of my bridesmaids had short hair that we thought were too short to style. Everyone's hair looked beautiful and stayed put until the end of the day.

KC did an amazing job on all the hair for my wedding day! I decided on my wedding day to switch to a style I hadn't tried at my trial run, and KC did a great job in helping me figure out what would work best with my dress/veil. I received a ton of compliments on my hair, and people noted that all of the bridesmaids each sported a look that looked natural on them. And everyone's hair held up through 10+ hours of wedding activities, on a hot and sunny day. KC was so easy to work with and she managed to finish 7 of us on schedule. I would recommend KC in a heartbeat -- well worth the money! Book early since she fills up quickly!

I was a little worried about finding a hair and makeup person because the experience can make or break your day. Luckily, I found KC because she was great! She was super nice and professional. I had a trial with her at my apartment that went really well. I was very happy with the products she used (mostly MAC). My makeup lasted all day and my hair stayed well. She also did the makeup for my sisters and the mothers, which turned out beautifully as well. I would definitely highly recommend her!

KC Felton was wonderful! I had never treated myself to having my hair and makeup done and was very nervous. KC put my mind at ease, was super flexible, provide great suggestions and made both the trial run and the actual day so much more fun. We got along very well as she is one of the nicest people you will ever meet! I got may compliments on my hair and makeup and it lasted thru out the whole event. I didn't have to re-apply or fix my hair at all and that was a miracle as I am a dancing addict and danced and danced all night long! I would highly recommend KC to anyone. My hope is that I will have somewhere special to go in the future so that I can do it again :)

KC did my hair and makeup for my Spring 2011 wedding. She was fantastic. KC seems to excel and producing natural looks for real brides.

KC was recommended by my awesome coordinators - Graceful Weddings. Disappointed to learn she was booked on my date, I felt a tinge of guilt when that wedding was rescheduled and I snagged KC. I knew I wanted KC to do my hair and makeup after seeing her on several photographers' blogs; her look was natural, restrained and seemed to change with each bride.

Our trial was a lot of fun. She's really easy to be around, very lowkey and friendly. She heard what I wanted and responded well when I asked her to tweak certain things.

On the day of, she arrived *exactly* on time. She was great at making herself part of our group in a very organic way. The makeup was spot on and the hair was great. She did a half-up style for the ceremony and helped place my veil as well. She even tagged along while we did photos in case I needed any touch ups.

I asked KC to stick around 'til after the ceremony to put my hair in an updo for the reception. I have never had such an awesome updo in my life. She was quick and did exactly what she did at the trial. She is now my go-to person for updos for formal events.

I got a crazy number of compliments on my updo at the reception and, as someone who doesn't really wear much makeup, I didn't feel like I had paint on my face. An added bonus was enjoying KC's company over the course of the day. Can't recommend highly enough.

If I could give more stars to KC, I would. That's how phenomenal KC is with hair and makeup. We had such an outstanding makeup/hair trial with her that I was confident on the day of the wedding that everything and everybody was going to look gorgeous. She was able to bang out all three of my bridesmaids, my mother and my hair along with makeup for me and my mother. Yowzah! I wanted the ladies to look pretty but not overly done and to work with their natural hair textures and KC delivered above and beyond. My makeup was to die for - she made me look ethereal and just pretty but not overly done. She even gave me a free lip gloss for the day of my wedding for touch-ups (which I am totally in love with and am going to purchase once this one runs out). She put my veil in for me and designed my hair around the veil and tiara I was wearing and it looked amazing - I wanted something loose and not too perfect or done and it was exactly what I wanted. Thank you KC for making us all look so beautiful, for being so accommodating and for setting the style for our wedding. We couldn't have asked for anything, or anyone better!

KC is wonderful! When I contacted her about a trial for my wedding hair, I already had an idea of what I wanted but was having trouble finding someone willing to take it on. I wanted to have an elegant fish-tail braid and although she had never had someone request it before, she was willing to try it. She is really easy to work with and the braid worked out great in the trial so we went with it for the wedding. Everyone commented that my hair was beautiful and unique! KC also constructed a unique look for my mother and all of the other bridal party members. She was wonderful and put everyone at ease! My hair was beautiful, unique, and perfect for my special day! It also stayed in place all day and night through the ceremony, outdoor pictures, and dancing all night! KC is great! I highly recommend her!

Admittedly, I waited until the last minute - one week before my wedding - to get around to booking a make-up artist for myself and hair stylist for my bridemaids, but I was fortunate enough to find KC! Not only was she thankfully available, but she proved to be extremely talented in doing five bridemaid hairstyles in different, elegant ways that fit their personalities and dresses. She came to our hotel room with all her gear and was efficient, thorough, and friendly. I loved the make-up she did for me - I asked for a light, "sun-kissed" look that she pulled off brilliantly. My make-up stayed on all night and the girls' hair stayed in place despite hours of dancing! She is truly skilled in both hair and make-up, and her prices are comparatively very reasonable. I highly recommend her to other brides and bridemaids in the DC area!

I cannot say enough great things about KC. She did an awesome job on my hair and makeup for the wedding. She also did my BMs hair, which turned out great as well.

I do not wear much makeup normally and have naturally curly hair that can sometimes be a pain to deal with, but KC did an incredible job. She gave me a natural look with my makeup that lasted through the heat and dancing all night. My hair was perfect....exactly what I wanted. I got a ton of compliments on both the hair and makeup.

KC was fantastic, accomodating, and flexible! I am not one for doing hair or makeup successfully, I would even say that I am hair challenged. When I met KC she assured me it would be great the day of my wedding. The day of the wedding she did all of my girls hair just by their description no trials and for my own hair I switched what I wanted to do that day. KC was awesome! I had a picture of the updo that I wanted and she made it happen during the trial. And on the day of, it was even BETTER!! She started working on my hair at 7:30 AM and finished around 8:45 AM. I went through the ceremony, on-location pictures at the park (it was breezy), the reception and dancing (for 4 hours with sweat!) and my hair stayed as amazing as it was that morning! Not a hair out of place! It was great! My sister also loved the updo that she asked KC to recreate.

Not only is KC a great hairstylist, she's got a great personality! Really a lot of fun to be around.

KC was terrific. She did my hair and make-up, my MOH's hair and make-up, flower girl hair and eye lashes for my MIL. She arrived on time/or early for both the hair trial, which took place at my home, and on my actual wedding day. KC had a lovely demeanor, she worked efficiently and really set a relaxed tone for my wedding day. My MOH and I both wore our hair down for my wedding. The hairstyles held up fairly well given a warm outdoor ceremony and quite a bit of dancing, without looking crunchy. When the hairstyles did start to fall (which is inevitable)....they still looked good--just a little flatter. The makeup, held up through the entire night. It never felt heavy and looked flawless with only small touchups of translucent powder and lip gloss. I was worried that my flower girl might not cooperate, but KC had no problem working with her. I didn't give KC a lot of direction for the flower girl hairstyle, but she created an age-appropriate updo that coordinated beautifully with the other looks.

KC did a great job on our hair and makeup. I would recommend her to anyone.

KC was great. She did hair for myself and my four bridesmaids on my wedding day. KC was great! I wanted someone who was willing to travel to where I was getting ready the day of the wedding, and I am so glad I made that choice. She came to my apartment for both the hair and makeup trials (they were separate, as I couldn't make up my mind as to whether I should have my makeup professionally done - looking at the photos, I'm very glad I did!) KC was wonderful! She was laid back and down to earth, which made me feel completely at ease when working around her. She was the first person (other than family/friends) I saw on my wedding day and her calm personality helped set the tone for my big day. She completely understood what I wanted and the finished product looked exactly like what I had dreamed up in my head. KC is a total pro and it's a pleasure to sing her praises. KC styled my mother's hair, my own hair and that of my mother in law's for the big day and end results were teriffic. The styles lasted well into the evening and even held up through quite a bit of dancing. I had told KC that was going for a 1960's feel with my own hair and she was able to turn that request into an updo that was elegant, fresh and fun. I also gave KC a few photos of the style I was going for and she was able to replicate the look easily. KC's professionalism and responsiveness were impressive. She arrived on-time the day, got right to work , and even remained calm and cool as the number of people in my bridal suite began to approach a small circus. I can't recommend KC and her work highly enough.

KC did a wonderful job for our October wedding! I have difficult (very thin and flat) hair, and I was afraid I was going to have to use fake hair for my wedding day. KC took one look at the picture I was trying to re-create and managed to make it look FLAWLESS! She also did beautiful curling iron styles for a few of my bridesmaids and up-dos for a few more.

KC is super sweet, calm and is great with rolling with the punches. We loved working with her and I would highly recommend her to anyone!

KC was on-time (if not early) and VERY easy to get along with. She returned all my emails within 24 hours and was very clear with her contract and terms. She listened to what I wanted and ensured that I got exactly what I needed. All her products are MAC and were very easy on my sensitive skin. I would highly use KC if I ever had another venue that required professional hair and makeup.

She was so laid back and wonderful to work with. She made all of my bridesmaids beautiful and comfortable the entire night. None of our hair fell out and it all looked beautiful the entire night. I even slept in my hair the night of my wedding and it lasted!! KC also traveled to our hotel to do makeup on location the morning of my wedding!

KC walked into my hotel room in Stafford only knowing how I wanted my hair done. All three of my bridesmaids had their hair done by KC as well and she did an amazing job! None of them knew how they wanted their hair and KC created beautiful hair styles that fit the personalities of each of my bridesmaids. Nothing fell out. Nothing moved. Everyone looked amazing!!!

I am not sure where to start. I was very particular with my hair (it is my wedding day, of course), but I was probably a little too particular, and I was initially unsure of what I wanted to do. I scheduled a trial with KC (and others) and tried a few different hair styles. Every picture I gave her, she replicated to perfection, and no other stylist I tried gave the attention to detail that she does. It is so important to see what your finished hair will look like...I wouldn't chance it on the day of because you never know what you may get and if it will hold. It took me a few months, but I finally figured out what I wanted to do with my hair and Heidi Klum was my inspiration. KC studied the picture of the hair (multiple angles) and worked with me to get it exactly how I wanted it through our trials...we even went hair piece shopping together and she made a custom hair piece, which is unlike most bridal hair stylists. KC took her time with me and my hair was absolutely perfect and amazing on my wedding day. Her assistant, Daisy, was also unbelievable. Every one of my bridesmaids (and I had 8 of them) looked absolutely amazing and we were all done on time. Not only did it look amazing, but KC and Daisy were very calm, flexible, and an absolute joy to work with. I honestly can say I have never looked so good, and KC really outdid herself with my hair...I have never received so many compliments. KC has such a great personality and I would HIGHLY recommend her for anyone's wedding day. Thank you so much KC and Daisy!

My wedding hair was gorgeous and I received lots of compliments on it :) KC was a dream to work with. When she came to my home for the hair trial, she truly listened to what I wanted and came up with a beautiful style that matched the style of my dress perfectly. The wedding up-do lasted throughout several hours of dancing and hugs :)

K.C. is truly talented!!! When I walked now the aisle and my now-husband saw me, I have never seen him smile as brightly! Yes, that's mostly because we're happily in love, but I also have K.C. to thank for doing a superb job on my hair and make-up! I had friends and family tell me that I looked like a wedding magazine model (I'm writing this not to flatter myself but to express how talented K.C. is!). I brought in a picture from a wedding magazine (which K.C. used in designing my hair) and before we were leaving for the wedding, someone in my bridal party commented that my hair looked better than that of the model!

I had a complex vision of my hair, involving real stephanotis blooms and crystal hair pins. K.C. did a great job placing them and also making sure they were secure for the entire day. She's really fantastic at doing exactly what you want (making it even better than what you envision!) Another reviewer wrote that she has a calming presence and I have to agree. You'll be spending 2-3 hours with her on your wedding day, so that's important. Also, I was worried that at the end of the day, my hair would be flat and volume-less (my hair is on the thin side and my style was mostly "down") but my hair kept up it's vigor for the whole day and night.

I recommend going for the trial-run. Although my trial hair and make-up turned out great, my wedding hair and make-up was all the better, because I had a clearer idea of what I wanted based on the trial. It's also a good opportunity for K.C. to get acquainted with your hair type, etc.

K.C. is a perfectionist; exactly the type of artist you want to trust to make you look and feel beautiful on your wedding day. Her pricing is very reasonable. Highly recommended.

KC did a great job with me, my mom and my sister (maid of honor). I do not normally wear make-up and was kind of at a loss for what to do, but KC helped me make decisions and selections that were right for me and the look that I was going for. My hair and make-up came out exactly the way I wanted them. She was incredibly flexible and is a fantastic, sweet person. You could not ask for a better experience. Thanks KC!!

KC did both my make-up and my hair for the wedding and I would completely recommend her! My make-up looked natural, stayed beautiful all night and looked amazing in my photos. We did a trial run for my hair and even went "hair shopping" to find a suitable extension for my planned updo. On the wedding day she was relaxed and methodical. The end product was exactly what I wanted and looked amazing! (My crazy bangs fell out by the end of the night but they survived DC winds and dancing and even still looked cute with the styling!) My mom also really liked the blow-out KC did for her too. KC is extremely flexible, communicates well and is easy to work with. I also appreciated her attention to detail and honesty. She is a tremendous value for the service provided. I would wholehearted recommend KC!!

KC was wonderful! We had an excellent practice session to decide on my hair and makeup - she completely understood the style I wanted. She was very accommodating when I told her how many people were in my wedding party, and her associates were friendly and did a great job, too. Definitely leave enough time for hair and makeup, though, because KC wants everything to be perfect, which can't be rushed.

KC was amazing! She was very flexible with traveling both for the trial and for the day of the wedding. This was EXTREMELY important, since my wedding was scheduled for the morning, and I needed to start hair and make-up early. No salons were open that early, so I would have had to pay an outrageous travel fee to go through a salon. Since KC works independently, her fees are INCREDIBLY reasonable -- especially for the high quality of service she provides. Her level of communication was great -- I always heard back from her within a day when we were planning trial dates and deciding on types of hairstyles. Because of her level of experience as a stylist (and, in particular, doing bridal hair), she was flexible enough the day of to change the style slightly since my hair had grown out a little. I LOVED THE END PRODUCT! She did not rush to quickly get my hair done, but took her time to make sure it was done properly and looked great. She took the time to adjust the style so that I would be able to remove the veil and replace it with a tiara after the ceremony. In addition to looking beautiful, my hair stayed put all day! KC was wonderful in every possible way, and I HIGHLY recommend her services!

I know it might seem crazy to give an 'exceptional' rating across the board, but I couldn't have been happier with KC's services and she deserves it. I really enjoyed working with KC for my bridal hairstyle. I did my own makeup, but I'm terrible at doing my own hair, and spent a lot of time trying to find a stylist who could come to my hotel room as I was getting ready (I had a Sunday morning wedding, so most salons weren't open) but who wouldn't break the bank. KC was perfect- her prices are extremely reasonable for the DC area, and the quality of her work is great. She even came to my apartment for the trial a few weeks before the wedding, and was much more flexible in scheduling weekend trials than anyone else I had spoken with. I showed her a few pictures to give her an idea of what I wanted and then let her go at it, and she gave me an elegant partial updo that looked amazing. At the trial, she let me try a couple of different styles so I could pick the one I liked best, and then she reproduced it perfectly on my wedding day. I have extremely stubborn hair, so while my curls didn't stay perfect all night, they stayed MUCH better than I expected them to, without being crunchy-looking from product. KC was friendly and accomodating and a lot of fun to work with, and I highly recommend her.

KC was the best. We used her for hair on the wedding day. She arrived on time, was extremely professional and did amazing work. She helped calm down my nerves on the wedding day. Not only is she talented, but she has a great personality - which really helps on the day of. Everyone loved their hair and commented how great she was. KC was great to work with. I loved my hair and make-up and got lots of compliments on both. KC did my bridesmaids' hair, too, and they all looked great as well. KC did my hair on my wedding day, as well as my four bridesmaids. Everyone loved their hair and everyone's held up all night and still looked perfect! KC arrived right on time and finished right on time, perfect.
