I cannot recommend Kate from KC Events enough! My husband and I hired Kate to help coordinate our wedding at the Free Library on October 4, 2025. Not only did she make our wedding day run seamlessly, but she also made the months leading up to it so much more manageable and far less stressful.
Kate created a detailed and realistic timeline (she is truly gifted at knowing exactly how much time everything needs!!!) She helped coordinate with our vendors and the venue, ensuring everyone was aligned and prepared. She was always calm, organized, and incredibly responsive, and she supported me through every moment (including listening to me cry and stress over potential bad weather!!)
Kate has an amazing ability to anticipate needs and I felt like she could read my mind. Hiring Kate was easily the best money we ever spent!! -

Kate was everything we didn’t know we needed for our wedding. We found planning pretty easy throughout the whole process, so we didn’t think a planner was necessary. About 7 weeks before the wedding we realized there were just a handful of small things day of we didn’t know who would be handling, and I panic researched who I could pull in. Kate had some amazing reviews so I emailed her in the middle of the night praying she had my date open and thank gd she did.
From day 1 she was on top of emailing and connecting with all of our other vendors, ensuring they were all aligned on timeline and all other day of needs before we got to the wedding day, so nobody was questioning a thing on the actual day.
She kept everything moving so smoothly day of, wrangling family and wedding party to make sure they were always in the right place. Helping the venue figure out some small hiccups the day of, and ensuring that we didn’t have to do anything but enjoy ourselves day of.
Absolutely hire her if you can! Thank you so much! -

Kate was far and away my favorite vendor to work with throughout the wedding process. She is a wealth of knowledge and is happy to offer advice and support in any way she can. She is polished, organized, and she knows her stuff. She also goes above and beyond to make sure you wedding day runs smoothly, and is extremely hands-on with the other vendors. Early on in the wedding planning process I wasn’t sure if I needed a day-of coordinator since our venue came with an on-site coordinator, but I’m so happy I went with Kate. If I were getting married again tomorrow she would be the first vendor I would reach out to. -

There are not enough words to describe how much I love Kate! From the moment I met her, I knew she was the person to help take care of every last detail of our wedding. She is beyond organized, professional, and truly made my day incredible. If you are looking for someone who takes care of all of the little things that could possibly go wrong, think of things you haven’t even thought of, keep everyone organized and on schedule, and seamlessly coordinate the day, she is your girl.
Because of Kate, my family, husband, and in-laws, could truly be in the moment and enjoy the day.
If you’re unsure about hiring a planner (even just for the day of), you will not regret it. Absolutely worth every penny!

Kate did a phenomenal job!! We had a fairly small wedding on 9/22/24. We only had 50 guests, plus 2 bridesmaid and 2 groomsmen. If you’re having a small wedding, you still need a wedding planner! There were so many things going on the day of the wedding, and Kate was on top of everything!! She made sure the vendors were sticking to the schedule and helped out with anything else we needed, big or small! She even took some great pictures throughout the day so we were able to have them that night. She really made sure that we were able to just relax enjoy our day. I highly recommend her!!! -

Working with Kate was the single best thing we spent money on for our wedding!
My husband and I truly cannot recommend Kate enough! She worked SO HARD to make our day seamless and I genuinely do not know how we would have pulled it off without her. Kate was invaluable in providing vendor recommendations, coordinating with our vendors in the weeks leading up to our wedding, and making sure everything was smooth and stress free day over. This ended up being particularly vital because our venue coordinator ending up quitting just days before our wedding and Kate did not miss a BEAT. It also doesn’t hurt that Kate is super fun and definitely one of the girls :) I ended up spending a lot of time with her my wedding day and it felt like spending time with an old friend. Truly was the best money we spent on our wedding - if you’re getting married in Philly and looking for planning or coordination I cannot recommend enough. -

Kate is the best!
For a little background, we had our 180 person wedding on July 13th at the Ballroom at Ellis Preserve. We hired Kate for a "Day Of" coordinator, which turns into a "weekend of" coordinator, "3 months of" coordinator, an anxiety easer, family wrangler, a very good reminder, organizer, and detail gatherer.
Kate's personality is perfect for any bride, she is calm, funny, professional, eager to please, organized, and super detail oriented. SHE wants to make you happy and will put up a little fight if need be to any vendor or venue person. SHE WORKS FOR YOU and WANTS YOU to be HAPPY!
Kate will make sure your day and weekend runs smoothly. She will be there pretty much every step of the way. She was extremely helpful for the rehearsal the day before. Without her present, I (the bride) would have had to wrangle family and friends to make sure they are in the right place at the right time. As the bride, you are honestly so worried about you too and trying to remember what you need to be doing during the rehearsal to not mess up the big day. SERIOUSLY, it takes a village, hiring her will make your life so much better.
The cost of the services were very reasonable considering the amount of work she does for you and what she helps with. I truly cannot imagine what the couple months and weeks before the wedding would have looked like without Kate. -

We used Kate for our 9/22/23 wedding and she was so great to work with! She was so organized, prompt, and always kept us on top of what needed to be done. Kate was always responsive when we reached out to her. She came to our final meetings with vendors to coordinate timelines and made sure they knew our vision for the day of. On the day of the wedding, Kate made sure we stuck to our timeline, we got alllll the photos we wanted, and everything was set up how I had detailed it! She handled family drama well and kept it professional. Kate made sure I was well taken care of. She even saved us late night snacks to eat later when she noticed they were going fast. I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Kate. I first reached out to Kate just about a year before my wedding and I am so glad I did. She was actually recommended to us from our venue/caterer (you already know she’s good when vendors say they enjoy working with her). Although I felt comfortable planning the “big” things on my own, I knew I’d need the extra insight, help, and professional coordination. Working with Kate was one of the best decisions I made. Throughout my entire planning process, Kate checked in with me. She offered suggestions, asked if I needed help, and was always willing let me vent to her about something (very necessary as a bride)! I am a terrible communicator, which made the check-ins from Kate that much more appreciated and helpful.
She is a kick-ass coordinator and truly knows her sh*t about weddings. If something went wrong on my wedding day, I wouldn’t have even known. Our entire day ran so smoothly and I can definitely attribute that to Kate and the way she’s able to work with the other vendors. I was able to fully enjoy my day and not worry about the little details. For that alone, I am so grateful.
I can’t say enough about Kate and how much I appreciate her for helping make our day so incredibly special. Seriously, she’s amazing. -

Kate was an amazing wedding coordinator! She helped me so much with my wedding planning from the beginning to the end! She was so responsive and was always there at any time to give advice, ideas, tips, and just general planning. I did not know much about planning a wedding and was very stressed but she made everything so easy and gave me answers to all of my questions. Kate also reached out to my other vendors and was on calls with me as well. On the day of the wedding she set everything up and helped take everything down - I did not have to do a thing when it came to set up and she made my visions come to life! She navigated the day smoothly and left me with no worries at all! I would highly recommend Kate Carroll - KC Event Group - for your wedding coordinator! She was a lifesaver! -

Seriously - stop looking for other wedding coordinators. I was lucky enough to get connected with Kate through a friend. At this point, she has helped three of us plan our big days! And she did not disappoint. Kate is exactly the person you want to work with - she’s prompt, will push you when you need pushing (especially if you’re the type of bride who is like “oh yaaaaa I actually didn’t get my marriage license yet” aka me), and she could not be sweeter. She puts so much care into every detail and ensures you’re on the same page every step of the way. Not only did she help so much leading up to the big day, but the wedding day would not have been the same without her - because she makes relationship building a priority, I learned to trust her SO early on, so when there were points in the night where I was nervous or stressed, she talked to me like a best friend and chilled me out. She does her job well because she brings so much of a human element to her job (which is really hard to find in a planner/coordinator), she is genuinely on your side and will do everything she can to make it the best day ever. I could write a recommendation a novel long. -

Two words: BOOK KATE! Working with Kate was an absolute pleasure. From the moment we first spoke over the phone to the post-wedding "checking in" texts -- Kate has been phenomenal. It is evident that Kate is truly passionate about the work she does, and takes pride in her craft. She is a true professional -- a strong executor, a great communicator, and manages to balance a "get stuff done" mantra with a fun and magnetic personality! Kate took time to understand our vision, and what we were looking for in a coordinator. We booked her "Wedding Management" package and Kate went above and beyond at every turn -- starting within hours of sending an initial inquiry! For many months leading up to the wedding, Kate helped us get organized, connected with our key vendors to keep them on track, and provided ideas/advice when needed. Every email I sent, call I made, or text I sent her way -- Kate was on it 110% and then some. On the day of the wedding, Kate took the lead and made sure every detail was to the level we discussed -- keeping us on track, but also providing flexibility throughout the day (much needed in some instances!) Kate, THANK YOU for making our wedding all that we could have dreamed of and more!! -

Kate was the calming force throughout our 2 years of planning due to Covid. As soon as we hired Kate as our Wedding Coordinator, she was organized and provided structure for us beyond what a typical Wedding Coordinator would provide. When our wedding was postponed in 2020, she was incredibly accommodating and offered to move our date to 2021 without hesitation. We had many ups and downs with other vendors throughout the postponement period and Kate was always there for advice and as a confidante. She truly went above and beyond expectations! At the wedding itself Kate was extremely detail oriented and kept the ship moving. Our wedding was anything but traditional and Kate adapted to the conditions and was a force. We couldn’t have done it without Kate and appreciate everything she did more than we can possibly say! If you’re looking for a highly organized, patient, get it done coordinator we could not recommend her more! -

Just Hire Kate
Some of the things we were dealing with prior to our wedding were: moving to a new state two weeks prior to the wedding, finding a new job, and dealing with new Covid restrictions 72 hours before the wedding. Without Kate, I don't think our wedding would have happened. We were so disorganized and honestly a bit burnt out to really plan our wedding. Kate never got mad at us for having nothing planned or doing everything last minute. She just stepped in and got sh*t done. Our venue changed their policy the day before our wedding requiring vaccinations from guests and vendors. She contacted all our vendors for records and when we found out two vendors were not vaccinated, she handled it immediately. My biggest and probably only regret is not getting a picture with Kate on my wedding day. So for those of you reading, just hire Kate and please remember to get a pic with the boss lady that will make your wedding the best day ever. -

Kate is the absolute best! I’ve been an event planner so I knew I needed a “Day-Of” Coordinator, but the rest of the family took some convincing. Everyone is so happy they listened to me and that we hired her. She’s so personable and made our day run perfectly. We clicked instantly, and my bridesmaids and family all love her now. I can’t imagine how our day would have happened with her taking care of everything behind the scenes. She has a great sense of humor and understands that the process is extremely stressful and all you want to do on the day of your wedding is to be there and let someone else handle the logistics. She was always checking in on us (in the good ways), keeping everyone on schedule, making sure we had everything we needed and being the necessary “authority figure” to make sure that the venue staff was following our wishes, not the other way around. She helped us really finalize our schedule and details to make sure we had enough time to do everything we wanted, including a last-minute private time between just the two of us before the ceremony so that we could settle ourselves and be in the moment and give each other that last little pep talk and one last “I love you” before the “I do’s”. I can’t say enough good things about Kate, but you need her on your vendor team! -

Kate was an absolute dream to work with. During the era of Covid when everything with weddings was touch and go, she was always prompt to reply, ready with a check list, and solution oriented. She helped us navigate issues from not knowing what our reception would look like with the ever changing capacity restrictions to post-wedding vendor issues. As someone who is incredibly type A I may have met my match with Kate’s unparalleled attention to detail. On the day of the wedding I felt confident letting everything go and placing it in Kate’s capable hands, and it was truly everything I could have dreamed of and more. I’m pretty sure by the end of the weekend my mom was ready to welcome Kate into our family because she made our wedding the best day of our lives, I cannot recommend her enough!!! -

Kate is absolutely phenomenal! She was my rock through multiple wedding dates and helped me navigate postponements and vendor communication, making sure I didn't miss anything. She was an absolute rockstar the day of my wedding and any little thing that popped up was handled and the day went off perfectly! She even had lollipops to keep the flower girl/ring bearer attention and behavior up during photos! She was truly invaluable to our wedding day and I can't recommend her highly enough. -

Fairly early on in our planning, we knew we wanted to have a coordinator to give us peace of mind and to ensure there would be no hiccups (at least that we would know of on our wedding day). When we started reaching out to coordinators, I immediately clicked with Kate and the rest is history. We already had most of our major vendors locked in, but Kate made her presence known almost instantly. She was organized, extremely communicative and a calming even during stressful moments.
Our wedding date was set for May 16, 2020 and we were set to go, only the most minor details remained. Then, March came and with it COVID-19 to the northeast region of the country. Just like that we knew that the wedding we had been planning for over a year and a half was not going to happen. Kate knew more than anything that we wanted to get married on our wedding date, even if it might look slightly different. Saying she went above and beyond for us is an understatement. 60 days out, government buildings were beginning to close, and I had my first breakdown thinking we would not legally be able to get married. Kate called every county within three hours to see who was open and could help us. I received a call on a Wednesday morning from Kate asking if we could leave work and drive two hours away since she shockingly found someone who would give us our marriage certificate. Of course, we dropped everything, and we were back on track to getting married, thanks to Kate.
Knowing that we had our certificate was a huge relief but there was still a pandemic in full force with a lockdown in place and mandates changing daily. Kate was on top of everything, keeping track of where the state was and making sure she knew exactly what we wanted so that she could deliver. Since our 200-person affair was no longer viable, I told Kate we wanted a “secret”, intimate wedding with just our immediate family of 10 (which luckily was all that was legally allowed). She coordinated with HollyHedge Estate, our venue, who graciously offered their facilities to us on the 16th ; she made sure all the little details, which had been changed a million times were in place; and, she kept our secret through the wedding, which I knew must have been difficult, especially since she was working with two of my closest friends during the same time.
May 16, 2020 ended up being our dream wedding. It was a gorgeous spring day and HollyHedge Estate was the perfect place to marry. Kate was there with us and our family from start to finish. She made sure this old fashioned bride didn’t see her groom until she walked down the aisle, that our family members stood where they needed to so our photographer, Matt from The More We See, could get his shots, and that at the end of the day we were legally husband and wife.
I joked early on in our planning process that hiring Kate would be the best money we ever spent, and looking back on how everything played out, those words could not be truer. We owe Kate so much and are eternally grateful to her.

Best Day Ever! Kate was a saving grace on our wedding day, making our vision come to life. She was organized, communicative, passionate, kind, attentive, and calming presence. From our first phone meeting I knew that Kate would be the one to help ease any anxiety about our wedding. There are not enough words to fully express how happy my husband and I are to have worked with Kate. If you are on the fence of whether to hire a coordinator, I recommend doing it now with Kate. She was always a text or email away, responsive, and provided many great ideas of things we should do to organize our wedding. Kate helped us arrange the bridal party during the rehearsal, was with me getting ready, helped set up/clean up our venue, kept us to a timeline so that we could maximize our dancing, and always ensured we were cared for and relaxed. When we had a vendor who was not very accommodating, Kate worked her magic to help ease tensions and get a better outcome than we originally could have planned. Our wedding went smoother than we could have imagined because everything was handled by Kate. Whether my bustle breaking, a bridesmaid dress rip, or a difficult vendor, Kate stepped right into action to solve the issue within seconds. Kate is SIMPLY THE BEST! -

Kate contacted vendors and really focused on making sure my sister and brother-in-law had the best day. She got us a microphone less than 24 before the ceremony and created table numbers out of thin air when a few went missing. Our only regret was not bringing Kate on from the very beginning of our planning journey. Highly recommend Kate!!

It’s quite difficult to put into words just how grateful we are to you and just how valuable you were during the entire wedding & planning process. I will do my best!
From the moment we connected I had zero doubt that you would be the most important addition to our vendor squad but even then it seemed like somewhat of a luxury vs. necessity. I was wrong. The venue seemed to provide everything one would need as far as timeline and coordinating for our big day. I wasn’t about to let you go that easy! I knew I would still need someone there as Rob and I’s advocate for the day. Wasn’t that the truth?!
During the process, you were always available. Whether to answer questions or ease my mind. In the short weeks prior it was CRYSTAL CLEAR that you were irreplaceable. When I saw you had reached out to all our vendors to establish yourself as their point person, that alone was such a big deal to me. The day I got that email, I was running a fever and feeling like it was the worst time to fall ill. With so much to do and so many people to be following up with, I was feeling so flustered. What a relief it was to know you had it handled.
This brings me to the day of our rehearsal. The wedding venue, essentially a wedding factory, that we thought had a handle on EVERYTHING, didn’t even have their coordinator there to be present for the rehearsal?!!! The owner had no idea who anyone was and anything that was discussed as far as our vision for the evening. Thank God for you. You took charge as planned and did not let the owner boss you around. You stood up for us and made sure our wedding was exactly as we’d planned. YOU made sure we had a rain plan, thankfully not needed but it definitely came close!!
