  Passionate, Creative, Gifted Photographer

  Kayla is who you want and need as your photographer! She is creative, energetic, professional and heart-felt. She herself is a true beauty and is able to capture the beauty in others. My (now) husband and I initially felt uncomfortable getting our pictures taken, but with Kayla's leadership she was able to make us feel at ease. Her photos are stunning, beyond our imagination. She is a wonderful person as well as an incredibly gifted photographer. I HIGHLY recommend her as your photographer for any life event!!

  Wizard with a camera!

  Where to start!? So I’ve been blessed with knowing Kayla right when she first started to dabble in photography. Right away you could tell it was her natural talent. We’ve always kept in touch, even after I moved, but after I got engaged the only thing about my wedding that I was certain about was that she absolutely HAD to be my photographer! Working with this woman is super easy, she makes you feel so comfortable, and may dabble in a bit of comedy! 😉 Even though my husband and I are awkward penguins she made us look like celebrities. I can’t help but sing her praise, she’s truly worth it! Thanks again Kayla!

  Absolutely Amazing

  I first met Kayla when she was the photographer at my friend's wedding a couple years prior and when I saw her wedding gallery I was blown away!
  
  The most important things for me when choosing a photographer were that I wanted genuine, real, happy moments to look back on. I knew we needed to have the posed photos, too - but more than anything, I wanted to look back at the pictures and laugh and smile and relive that day. I'm getting emotional just writing this review because Kayla delivered that and so much more. Our pictures are absolutely STUNNING!
  
  During the planning process, Kayla was quick to respond and always made me feel like I was her most important client. She magically made myself and my super-shy fiance feel so comfortable behind the camera and she even inspired us to take our dream vacation/honeymoon AND encouraged us to be better humans with one of her incentive programs. I even ended up doing a boudoir shoot with her (something I NEVER thought I'd feel confident enough to do) because she just makes you feel so relaxed - like you've known her for years.
  
  On our wedding day, Kayla kept things running smoothly and checking in with us often to make sure we didn't need anything. She made us laugh and captured truly genuine, timeless, and beautiful photos that we will look back on and truly treasure forever. I can't thank her enough for the magic she captured for us!

  As soon as I got engaged, Kayla was the first vendor I reached out to - I was willing to work around her availability to have her shoot our wedding because I've always been so impressed by her photography. Her images are bright and joyful, and she always seems to capture the most stunning moments. It was SUCH a great time working with her for our engagement and wedding photos - she is hilarious, skillful at posing you in a way that doesn't feel posey (is that word?!), and makes you feel so cozy in front of the camera. It's clear that she genuinely cares about her couples, and after spending so many big moments with her I'm grateful to consider her a close friend. Looking through Kayla's photos of our wedding, I'm transported right back to the day. I still tear up every time I look at our album! Can't recommend Kayla enough...

  Amazing!!!!

  Mike and I had Kayla do our wedding/engagement photos and we don’t have enough good things to say about her!!! She is the sweetest person and makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera. We had so much fun at our engagement shoot, and on our wedding day with her. Not only is she a joy to be around but her work is absolutely beautiful. We could not have been happier with the way our photos turned out and the moments she captured. I hope I’m able to work with her again in the future :)

  Incredible!

  Where to start?! My husband and I met Kayla at a wedding a couple years prior to ours and absolutely loved her work. We knew from the start of our own wedding planning process that Kayla was the only option. In fact, she was the first vendor we booked before we even nailed down a venue–no joke.
  
  Once you meet Kayla, you’ll know why! She’s the most genuine person you will ever meet and we’ll instantly feel like you’ve been friends forever. She has a way of making even the most awkward people (and dogs) feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. Almost a year later and we still get compliments on our photos!
  
  Kayla was so easy to work with, professional, extremely talented and has a style all her own.

  A dream come true!

  Kayla Coleman is the best of the best. Not only is her artistry beyond compare. Her photos look like a piece of art or the cover of a magazine! But when Kayla comes into your life, you never want to let her go. She is so authentic and has such a beautiful soul. In just a short time, you see her goodness and light. We love you Kayla💗

  Beyond words amazing!!

  I don't even know where to begin to praise Kayla for her ability to perfectly capture a couple in some of the most important moments of their life. I met Kayla when I was MOH in my best friend's wedding and from that moment on I knew there was no one else that would shoot my wedding (and I wasn't even engaged at the time!)
  Her ability to instantly pick up on a couple's whole vibe is incredible. She was the only vendor I worked with who genuinely wanted to know who my husband and I were as people and as a couple and her dedication to this shows through in her beautiful photos. She captured our essence impeccably. She not only is an amazing photographer but she is an amazing friend and person to have in your corner on your wedding day. She helped calm me down through stressful moments and suggested me husband and I take 30 minutes to just be by ourselves taking some casual photos that turned out to be some of my favorites from the day. I could continue to write a novel about Kayla but I am sure my point has been made. You cannot go wrong booking Kayla to capture your engagement, wedding or any other important day!!

The moment when I panicked that my dress was showing a weird never-before seen crease? I turned to Kayla, she nodding assuringly and told me she'd not let me know go out there looking anything less than perfect. She cried tries of joy as my husband danced alongside his mom in her wheelchair. Simply put, Kayla is a PRESENCE - an addition to your day, not just another vendor. Stylistically she just gets it - the warmth in her photos is almost palpable, the brightness, the joy, the honesty. Nothing feels forced or posed. I was never plucked from something to get a shot. She was there, quietly, lovingly, supporting us and documenting with her artful eye the best day of our live.   We booked Kayla for our engagement session and wedding and I don't even know where to start! Starting with coordinating our engagement session, she was so flexible on dates, times and locations. It's so easy to see with emails alone how extremely kind and thoughtful she is. She made us feel SO comfortable when taking our pictures. If you love natural light and non-posed pictures, Kayla is your person. Her ability to capture such gorgeous photos when doing the most simplest things is amazing. She is seriously worth every penny. The quality of her work and the numerous number of pictures that come out amazing is unimaginable which makes choosing favorites nearly impossible. We haven't had our wedding yet, but clearly Kayla Coleman Photography is the best decision about my wedding. Highly recommend her, just check out her website and you'll see :)

  Truly Amazing!

  I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Kayla! From the moment we met, I felt that we were old friends. She is such a genuine person with an incredibly huge heart and infectious smile.
  My husband is SUPER awkward in front of a camera so he was very nervous about our engagement photos. Kayla has a wonderful way of making you feel comfortable. She brought music, told us funny stories and had us laughing, we both were at complete ease the entire time.
  I am a very OCD planner (even more so planning my wedding) and sent Kayla numerous emails during the planning process. She was always very responsive and answered all of my questions in detail. Her willingness to go above and beyond is truly unparallel.
  Kayla shot our rehearsal dinner and got to know our family, friends and bridal party. It was really no surprise that everyone loved her just as much as us! Having Kayla shoot our wedding day was something special. Her ability to make our entire bridal party of 22 + Family feel comfortable in front of the camera is what sets her apart.
  My sister got engaged 5 months after our wedding day and her number one criteria was having Kayla as her photographer. She set her wedding date based on Kayla’s availability. I recommend Kayla to every bride!

  We loved working with Kayla! Her photos are great, and both our engagement and wedding sessions were fun and easy. Kayla seems to genuinely enjoy what she does, and this joy is infectious! We would absolutely recommend her for engagement, wedding, or really any photo sessions!

  I can't say enough WONDERFUL things about Kayla. I live in New Mexico and got married in Charleston, SC. The pictures of our beach wedding are incredible!!!!! I normally hate getting my pictures taken and she made the process so fun. She documented EVERYTHING but was never once intrusive or took away from the special moments of the wedding(it was a small wedding with 50 guests). We only communicated via email until we met on the wedding day. She was super responsive with any questions I had. She was so helpful with tips on hair and makeup and anything else I needed. It felt like she was as excited about the wedding as we were. You captured moments I will treasure in my heart forever! Thank you, Kayla!

  Kayla's work is beautiful and it's something you can easily see by visiting her website and social media outlets! However, what you can't see is who's behind the camera and that part is something even better! Planning a wedding and dealing with vendors can be tough--everyone says they're a professional and knows what they're doing. Not Kayla, she is very much a professional but takes the time to get to know you, what you like, and is highly flexible on helping you with whatever it is you need to be comfortable--which can be a lot with a Type A bride like me :) To me, she was the easiest of our vendors to work with and such a warm, loving person to want to be around! You can't go wrong with her in every category!

  Kayla's work is beautiful and it's something you can easily see by visiting her website and social media outlets! However, what you can't see is who's behind the camera and that part is something even better! Planning a wedding and dealing with vendors can be tough--everyone says they're a professional and knows what they're doing. Not Kayla, she is very much a professional but takes the time to get to know you, what you like, and is highly flexible on helping you with whatever it is you need to be comfortable--which can be a lot with a Type A bride like me :) To me, she was the easiest of our vendors to work with and such a warm, loving person to want to be around! You can't go wrong with her in every category!

  We are SO thankful that we had Kayla behind the lens to capture our wedding day! Kayla was the first vendor we booked for our Maine wedding (a year and a half in advance!) and it was the best decision we made throughout the planning process. Not only is her photography breathtakingly beautiful, but her amazing personality, passion for her craft, and professionalism made her an absolute joy to work with. She made my husband and I so comfortable throughout our wedding day and worked with all of our crazy requests for family portraits and more. She even uploaded a "sneak peek" of our photo gallery just days after our wedding, allowing us to relive some of the best moments from our big day. We haven't even seen the final gallery yet, but knowing her talent and dedication, we already know we're going to fall head-over-heels for each image. Kayla, you are truly the best around and we're so happy that you followed your heart and turned your passion into a successful business. We, and all future couples, are SO lucky for it! From the moment my husband and I met her for our engagement shoot and again on our wedding day, we felt like we had known Kayla for years. She made us (and our family) feel so comfortable and natural, like an old friend.   Kayla did both our engagments and wedding photos and she was our favorite vendor to work with and we absolutely loved her. Not only are her pictures gorgeous but Kayla is awesome - easy to work with, fast at communicating, professional yet really relaxed and fun. Highly recommended!

  I don't know where to start, Kayla is just a beautiful girl inside and out and just so encouraging from the day I met her. She was so easy to work with and had a amazing personality. We had a engagement session with her and it ended up raining and she still managed to get awesome shots of us. And with the wedding she was there from early in the morning till the end of the night. She is such a hard-worker and has a awesome talent as you can see from her website. I couldn't have asked for a better photographer. My husband and I are so grateful to have her part of our wedding and to be there capturing our love story.
