OVER THE TOP - as the Father of the Bride - I was was blown away with the time & effort from Kay & I only observed from afar. Her attention to detail was amazing and her follow-up to assure all the loose ends were tied up was unbelievable. I was included in every update & the details were overwhelming. This was the second wedding that the family used Kay...only hiring her the final week for the first wedding but after seeing everything that her service entailed, I approved my wife using her upfront for the latest wedding. Frankly, it was a mistake for not including her sooner in the process in the first wedding. She was worth every penny. -

Kay is 5 stars all around. She is the wedding planner to hire. Kay provided the help we needed as we were planning a wedding from out of town. She knows and helped us select the venue, and wonderful vendors who delivered a beautiful wedding and a great experience. Kay kept us organized and on track with what needed to be done when. But best of all Kay managed the wedding weekend and wedding itself so that my husband and I could enjoy our daughter's lovely wedding. It was wonderful. Thank you Kay for your help! -

Kay was something special, yet something different for each us during the entire wedding process.
For my husband, Kay was the book keeper extrordinaire. She completely kept us in line w payment schedules and she helped us stick to our budget. Joe says Kay is worth her weight in GOLD!
For me, Kay kept me on tract w a monthly/weekly list of things to do. Kay went with me to important vendors. Kay has exquisite taste. Het input was priceless, or yet oh so valuable!
The day of the wedding Kay had an amazing itinerary everyone. The entire day ran like clock work! Kay was at our house for pre wedding photos and she totally saved the day with a near wedding dress zipper disaster. Her calm demeanor kept us all smiling and kept our mood relaxed and joy filled.
At the church and reception Kay remained behind the scene keeping us on a tight schedule so that everything flowed magically, as we desired.
As for the bride, who is a perfectionist, Kay TOTALLY got her! Our daughter loves GREAT Customer service. Kay is always Prompt, friendly and professional.
We have 2 other daughters. Someday they may get married, I look forward to working with Kay again!

Kay was AMAZING! I knew from the moment I got engaged there was absolutely no way I could plan my wedding alone, especially working full time and traveling a lot!! Kay kept me us on track and made everything so simple and easy. Wedding day went as smooth with Kay running the show, I don't think the wedding could have gone any better. If you want the best of everything, with flawless execution and a vendor that makes your special day as important as their special day, I would chose Kay! Kay was a joy to work with! She pays close attention to every detail and because of that, our wedding planning experience and wedding were everything we could have ever imagined! Kay is well known in the wedding industry in Dallas which made for a smooth planning process as she already knew all of our vendors. There was no questioning a certain vendors professionalism as Kay already knew them all. My mother, husband and I say that without Kay's help we never could have pulled off such an amazing wedding and the memories we'll have for a lifetime! -

Kay was a fantastic consultant and kept us grounded through the final weeks before my sister's wedding in March 2016. She entered the process smoothly and took charge of details and coordinating meetings with all our vendors, understanding what we wanted and offering her suggestions from years of experience. We got to do the fun stuff and she took care of every detail, from coordinating the church rehearsal and ceremony, reception venue, flowers, lighting, DJ, decorations, and cake, to making sure everyone's glass was charged for toasting and so much more. She kept in close contact and stayed calm, patient and professional through every meeting and all the last-minute details on the big day. Her professionalism impressed our guests and family, too. At the same time, Kay's warmth and genuine care made her more than a coordinator or vendor - she was truly a part of the celebration! What a joy to work with her and share this special time with her! -

Our wedding was beyond what we could have ever dreamed and it was all made possible by Kay! She is the most incredible wedding planner and an even more amazing woman. Not only does Kay do an amazing job with every tiny detail I never would have thought of or had a clue how to handle, but she also cares so deeply for our family and was always so sensitive to our personal needs. I am convinced Kay Watson is the reason my daughter's wedding ceremony and reception went off without a hitch! We were able to enjoy the party and the special time with our family and friends rather than worry about whether the details that go on behind the scenes were being handled. Because of Kay, we could feel like guests at our own party!
I found her opinion to be invaluable in the months leading up to the wedding as there are so many decisions to be made. I could count on Kay to give me all the facts to make a decision and I valued her opinion when I needed help with a decision. I felt confident the entire time that we were on track and the event would be a success. It was simply a wonderful experience and I cannot recommend Kay Watson enough. -

I knew within the first 30 seconds of our initial meeting that Kay was the person I wanted to guide me throughout the wedding planning process, and not once did I second-guess that decision. Kay has a true relationship with countless vendors, and those connections allowed me to work with people that I trusted to run every aspect of the wedding. She attended and took notes at every vendor meeting, anticipated (and therefore prevented) all possible snafus, and allowed me to stay calm throughout the wedding planning process.
The week of the wedding was completely stress-free, and I can honestly say that my wedding was everything I could’ve ever dreamed of and more… all because of Kay. I wholeheartedly recommend Kay Watson to every bride in DFW; she really is the best in the business. -

As mother-of-the bride the fee I paid to Kay was the best money I spent on the entire wedding! She was absolutely AMAZING! First of all, she is the most organized, calm and fun person to work with and she has an intimate working relationship with virtually all of the vendors in North Texas. She helps you with every detail making sure you have the best vendors, the perfect venue, that you haven't forgotten anything, all the while helping you stay within (or pretty close to) your budget
.
Most importantly, Kay allows the bride, groom, and the bride's family to ENJOY the wedding. If there are glitches during the event, you will never know about them. Truly, she created the perfect, stress free wedding experience. -

We cannot sing Kay's praises enough. What a bargain. Kay was in attendance at most every visit with our vendors and took copious notes. She always made important comments and considerations that we would never have thought about. She quickly understood our Daughter's "vision" for the wedding and kept everything true to form. She ran the rehearsal masterfully and on the evening of the event, Kay was virtually stealth... we relaxed and enjoyed the event - the ceremony, the guests, the reception - while Kay made sure everything was on time, "automagically"! Everything about our daughter's wedding was exceptional but, without question, Kay was the best spend we made!!! -

I truly can not say enough wonderful things about Kay Watson and her wedding planning/coordinating services. Hiring Kay was easily the best decision my parents and I made throughout the entire wedding planning process.
To start, Kay is incredibly professional, but still warm and easy to talk to. My family and I truly felt like she was there for us from the first moment we met to the final moments after the guests left.
Kay also provided us with a detailed planning timeline which really helped keep me on track with the process down to the final days before the wedding. I live in New York City, but my husband and I married in Dallas, so being organized and on the ball was of the utmost importance and Kay's timeline was spot on.
Another pro to the incomparable Kay Watson, is that she attended every single vendor meeting with us, which provided my parents and I with the piece of mind that come wedding day, Kay knew every detail of our vision and dream for the wedding. And while Kay was an active participant in those vendor meetings, I never once felt like she took over the vision or tried to impose her vision onto ours. Kay offers her expert advice at the most beneficial times (i.e. "I've seen this work well/go very badly before") and was 100% focused on helping my parents, groom and me create the design and event that we were dreaming of.
Ultimately what Kay's services allowed me was a no stress wedding. I repeat, NO STRESS!!! That for us was truly priceless. Her timeline kept us on track and helped to focus the swirling details in my brain, and her thoroughness allowed my mother and me (and father and groom), the opportunity to relax, enjoy the day, and then party it up that night with absolutely no worries as to whether everything was perfectly orchestrated to create our once in a lifetime wedding.
So in short, if you want to make the best decision you could possibly make during this entire wild process of planning a wedding, get Kay...she's the one.

Our daughter was married in October 2014, Kay was our wedding coordinator. She was absolutely wonderful to work with, very professional, knowledgable and organized. Kay attended every vendor meeting with us, understood our daughters vision and kept everyone on track for both the rehearsal and wedding. Initially my parents and I weren't sure we needed a wedding planner, but within 5 minutes of our first meeting we were sold. Throughout the entire planning process my parents kept saying, "Kay is the best money we've spent." Her knowledge and information is priceless. She has built wonderful relationships with all of the best vendors, and this made everything run smoothly. She knows who is good, who is overpriced, and helped me build the perfect team of vendors. Kay came to vendor meetings and asked very important questions that I would have never known to ask. The day of my wedding was completely stress free because of her. Kay was a lot of fun to work with and she is very knowledgeable and experienced. She was very helpful in providing suggestions for the venue, hotels, florist, and bakery as well as other vendors. She is a very detail oriented person which is what is needed when it comes to planning a wedding! She made sure that we kept to the day-of-event timeline and everything went off very smoothly. She was great to have at the church and reception to make sure that all that was planned was completed and nothing was missed. Kay is absolutely the best money we spent on our daughter's wedding. She was such a consummate professional in all aspects - from the tiniest details to the largest decisions. The vendors she recommended were delightful to work with and very professional. Her years of experience helped us avoid many pitfalls and outright mistakes. She also had a HUGE calming influence on our daughter, helping her to separate the critical from the superfluous, and keep her decision making on an even keel. In retrospect, trying to plan our daughter's wedding without Kay would have been tantamount to attempting the D-Day invasion of France without the careful planning of Gen. Eisenhower - an impossibility! -

Kay is an extremely helpful, organized and professional wedding coordinator! She provides a very organized timeline of events for your wedding and puts on a beautiful ending production! We had many meetings before my wedding and she was very on top of every detail and every role for every person in the wedding. She offers amazing up to date advice on your decisions and whats "trending" in the wedding industry. She met my every expectation during the wedding planning process and mentored my husband and I as the wedding planning was happening. She is one of the sweetest lady's I know and consider her a great contact to have for future events and weddings for my "non married" friends! My mom and husband and myself believe she was the best investment for our wedding! We could not imagine our wedding without her by our side!!! 5 stars across the board for Kay!! -

Kay Watson is fabulous! My daughter's wedding was absolutely beautiful and the reception was fantastic! We received so many compliments. Many guests remarked that it was the best wedding/reception they had ever attended. Kay's attention to detail was phenomenal. She took care of everything and was a complete pleasure tow work with. Kay was such a joy to work with while planning our only daughters wedding. She was so helpful in keeping us focused and we were never overwhelmed by all the planning that needed to be done. The day of the wedding was such a wonderful day, relaxing & stress free knowing that Kay had it all under control. We were able to spend very precious time together with our daughter without worrying about things getting done. Kay was so professional, courteous, and just amazing the entire time. Kay was a vital part of my wedding planning! Even though I lived out of town, she was always able to meet during my short visits to Dallas. She helped my mother and I make decisions and took care of the crazy requests we wanted. She helped us find vendors, and had a great relationship with everyone we chose.
Looking back, there are parts of my rehearsal and wedding day that would have hit a glitch if Kay was not there to smooth things out.
We really enjoyed having the one-on-one attention from Kay. Our day was not passed off to anyone else. She was easily accessible during the planning, and on the big day! -

The day of the wedding goes by so quickly that several months after my daughter's wedding, I asked her if she would like to replay that day and do it again. She said, "No, because I am afraid it would not be as perfect.". Kay's many resources and attention to detail helped make daughter's wedding absolutely perfect. Even when she traveled, she made herself available to me. She answered all my questions, no matter how silly and amateur they were. I found Kay Watson to be extremely helpful in planning my daughter's wedding. She has worked with many vendors and could recommend those that were particularly suitable for the kind of event we wanted. She's a great problem-solver and follows through on details. Unfortunately, my father became very ill and was admitted to the hospital the day before the wedding. It was such a relief to know that all of the arrangements were in Kay's competent hands. -

When looking for a wedding planner my mom and I were looking for someone who was really going to be detailed oriented and very organized. I was living in D.C while trying to plan a wedding in Dallas so having a wedding planner who would be able to work with all the different vendors and plan meetings while I was in town was really important. Kay went above and beyond my expectations of a wedding planner. Not only was she a delight to work with, she was incredibly organized, professional and easy to get a hold of any time of day. I never had to wait long for a response from her and she really helped remind me of deadlines. She was able to work with all the different vendors we had chosen and set up all of the meetings with the different vendors for when I was in town. I don't know what I would have done without Kay, she was truly the only reason that I was stress free and considered an "easy bride." I never had to worry about something being late or a vendor not remembering something because Kay kept so on top of everything and sent out reminders and list to all vendors. The day of the wedding was just perfect and I was able to just enjoy everything because of all of her hard work throughout the event. I cannot say enough great things about Kay and I continue to recommend her to all of my friends who get engaged. -

Kay was truly amazing! I am a very organized person, and to see someone MORE organized than me, I knew she would be perfect. I don't think we could've gotten through the day without her. Her attention to detail, and always available to answer questions when things got hectic and crazy really helped keep the wedding planning an enjoyable and fun process.
Kay is bright, knowledgable, very professional and consciences of everyone's needs. She always has the willingness to go the extra mile. I would recommend her to anyone as a "can't miss candidate", and I am certain that she will make your special day better than you imagined. -

I honestly do not know how I would have had the time or energy to plan such a beautiful wedding without the help of Kay Watson! She went out of her way to make sure that all of the details were taken care of so that I could just enjoy the process without any extra stress. Kay made the wedding planning process so much easier! She is very professional, responsive and organized. She had great insight, advice and always had the answers to my questions. Kay met with me several times during the planning process, attended our tasting at the wedding venue and answered my emails when I had questions that came up. I knew I wouldn't have to worry about a thing the wedding weekend with Kay there. She made the rehearsal go so smoothly and helped everyone know where to be. The wedding day was carefree because she was on top of everything! All I did that day was show up, get ready and have fun. She took care of all the little details behind the scenes and kept us on schedule with the band, caterer, etc. Hiring Kay as your wedding coordinator is the best advice I can give you. She will make your life so much easier! I loved working with her and would recommend her to every bride. -

I spoke to several "top" Dallas wedding planners before hiring Kay (kaywatson.com), and she was the most personable and helpful of all of them. She was easy to communicate with and very responsive.
I hired her for the "week-of" service, and she took care of everything vendor-related for the entire week. This service also includes monthly "check-in" meetings for the months before the wedding; she can also provide vendor recommendations if you need them.
The day of the wedding, I didn't want for anything, and it was due to her (and her assistant's) expert coordination. Kay remembered everything, from helping me find my lipstick to overseeing the set-up and take down of the venue. I gave her my own items (DIY projects, place cards, etc.) the day before, and she had them all set up perfectly. She created a wedding day schedule. She even made sure my diabetic husband ate regularly the day of the wedding!
I don't know how she did it, but she had everything under control. Not only that, but my friends and family were unbelievably impressed at how well the wedding was coordinated. Her years of experience really come through, and we are so glad we invested in the enjoyment of our wedding day!
Kay was an invaluable resource for our wedding and I highly recommend her. -
