She not only keeps the whole day running smooth for both couples and vendors alike, but also can handle any obstacle / issue that a wedding day can through at her without blinking an eye at it! Do yourself a favor and hire Kate for your wedding planner/coordinator! You will not regret it! -

Kate was an absolute pleasure to work with! She answered questions promptly, and explained things very clearly! Our daughter’s wedding on 10/4/25, @ The Lodges at Cresthaven was just spectacular, and totally stress free as Kate was on top of everything, including setting up decor. -

Full transparency, I am posting this review as a wedding DJ who has worked with Kate Taylor a bunch of times. As a wedding DJ, it's very important to me to have fun and easy to work with vendors the day of the wedding. We dont want boring energy and we dont want over the top stressed out planners. We are so lucky every time we get to work with Kate because of how awesome she is. She steps in when she needs to, but also knows which vendors she can trust to do their thing.
I've seen her go above and beyond for her couples and their vendors. She is truly great at what she does and I appreciate all the talent she brings to each wedding -

Kate Taylor and her team were simply put amazing. She was responsive, helpful, organized, and knowledgeable. We knew we needed a planner as we live 3.5 hours from our venue and had to bring all our vendors into our wedding property. Kate knew the venue so well and she has such a great rep with all the vendors in the area. She picked all the right vendors that made our dream wedding possible as well. We appreciated that she was realistic with our budget and helped us plan around that and pick vendors that worked within those parameters. Day of she was phenomenal as well. We had a few things that needed fixing day of (which happens at every wedding) and Kate handled them wonderfully without a second thought. Again, just do yourself a favor for your sanity and hire Kate :) -

There are not enough words to describe how amazing Kate and her staff are. Connor and I had hired Kate for 4-6 weeks from the wedding date and from the start she was amazing, professional and extremely flexible with Connor and I's crazy schedules. She truly has a passion for this and is meant for the role. When it came to the few days before the day, she made the process of getting all the last minute details appear effortless and made our dream come to life. She even went above and beyond day of from the start including helping my mom, having cool drinks ready (water and alcohol) as it was a gross 90+, humid day and even when my other venders gave her challenges it was all handled and I didn't stress about one thing. She and Lexi are pro's at bustling and were there through the entire evening to offer drinks or ask if Connor or I needed anything. I tell everyone the next best decision after marrying Connor was having Kate and her staff to help with our day. I am thankful for them and all they did to help make Connor and I's day so special. -

Kate is a Godsend
I want to start by saying that my fiance started our wedding planning journey adamantly against hiring a wedding planner, but by the end he emphatically agreed "BEST MONEY WE SPENT".
I interviewed several planners prior to deciding on Kate. After speaking with her and hearing about all her experience, I was sold. I was planning a wedding in a destination I'd never even seen and I knew I needed help. Kate seemed so calm and sure, like there would be nothing to worry about.... We signed a contract for partial planning about a year before our event. I immediately went into "Go-mode" and started pulling together ideas, vendors, etc... Kate was very busy with all the 2020 weddings that got pushed into 2021 but was still available to answer my millions of questions. I had a few panic moments like "oh god, how will we pull this off" and Kate was always there, always calm. On some days I felt like I was very behind, like there were a million things I needed to do, and she always helped to keep me on track - assuring me it would come together beautifully.
And boy did it! On the day of the wedding, Kate arrived with a smile on her face ready to work. She popped in my dressing room to say hello, deliver my bouquet (which she made herself!!!) and tell me I had nothing to worry about. I don't even quite know how she did it.....setting up the ceremony, doing our florals, decorating the tables and the tent....all by herself. But sure enough, when I walked out it was all completed perfectly. She was able to work within our budget and still deliver our absolute dream day. I still can't get over how beautiful our florals were. She got them wholesale to save us some money and assembled them herself. GORGEOUS. The table-scapes were just as beautiful. Not to mention all the behind the scenes things she did for us such as negotiate with vendors, help us plan a welcome dinner, coordinate with my parent's on a last minute request, etc etc etc. She did it all with grace and professionalism. I genuinely don't think you could shake this woman even if there was a tornado headed straight towards the venue. She'd simply say calmly "I've got a back up plan, don't worry." and handle it without a second thought.
I can't imagine our special day without having Kate by our side. She is literally born to do this job. If you don't hire her, I'm worried for you. ;) BEST MONEY WE SPENT! A thousand star rating. -

Kate is an absolute pleasure to work with. She helped us plan the perfect backyard wedding at the rental house we own. She recommended and coordinated with vendors leading up the event, and was an all-star the day of. She pulled together our furniture and decor in a way that was better than we had imagined and was super quick to adapt the layout to accommodate a small burst of rain. Relax and hire Kate! -

Can't Thank Kate Taylor Enough!
Getting married during a global pandemic was overwhelming and an emotional rollercoaster. I will never be able to thank Kate Taylor enough for all she did to make our special day happen last September.
Kate helped guide us through New York state's COVID restrictions and timeline. She remained patient and supportive as we were forced to change our wedding plans over and over again. She was honest and transparent while staying positive and encouraging - continuously throwing out ideas and recommendations. Kate helped us manage adjusting our day, canceling specific vendors we could no longer have like our live band, etc.
Despite many challenges we faced during the planning process, Kate managed to help us pull off the most beautiful and intimate wedding celebration with our families at Saratoga National. It wasn't the day we had originally planned for but it was absolutely perfect in it's own way. Kate was with us every step of the way, including day of. She helped to make our day stress-free and helped to handle every little detail (including running back to the hotel for my after dinner outfit when I had accidentally left it behind!)
Additionally, while we were also planning our wedding long distanced, Kate was so knowledgeable of the local and regional wedding industry experts and all reputable businesses and helped us put together a fantastic vendor team - everything from florals to our officiant.
We couldn't have done it without you, Kate! Appreciate you and know you'll continue to make couples' big days happen for years to come. -

Do yourself a favor and hire Kate for your big day! She gets your vision, pays extreme attention to detail, and is very quick to respond to the million questions you have as a bride! I never had a doubt throughout the entire planning process that we were in the best hands with Kate and her team. Her relationships with local vendors and ability to coordinate all of the moving parts of a wedding day is nothing short of impressive. We had a wonderful experience planning our wedding with Kate. She coordinated between me (all the way across the country) and my mom (in Saratoga Springs) along with all our vendors in Saratoga. Everything went perfectly smoothly. Kate was responsive and helpful at every step of the process, and knew exactly how to save us the most money. Any worries I had ahead of time she quickly alleviated. On the day of I had no worries that everything would go smoothly. Every part of the wedding was perfectly orchestrated, with everything in its place and everyone exactly where they needed to be. Kate's assistant Lexi ran the actual wedding as Kate had a larger wedding to coordinate, which we knew ahead of time. She did a fantastic job! I could not have been happier. -

I can honestly say I had the absolute best wedding and didn't have to much besides pick out my dress. How insane is that?! Kate is amazing at being the point of contact for all of your vendors and makes sure everyone and everything come together perfectly.
Kate made what is known to be one of the most stressful experiences a couple will go through an absolute breeze for us. Most couples are scrambling at the last minute to get everything together but with Kate...we were able to relax and just enjoy each other. Even as we approached the last week before the wedding, she had everything taken care of and there was nothing left for us to do. The complete lack of stress we experienced was invaluable--- we cannot thank Kate enough for everything!
Enjoy being engaged, enjoy your fiance, enjoy your family and your friends---leave the wedding stuff to Kate. Love love love her and cannot recommend her enough!! -

Kate was such a blessing for our wedding on 5/18/2019. Not only did she make sure EVERY detail was set ahead of the big day but she handled the logistics the day of as smoothly as possible. Everything flowed so well in huge part to her timeline planning expertise. Kaitlyn Sent on 10/03/2018I thought I could do everything myself to prep for my wedding without hiring a professional, until a couple months before when it hit me that I didn’t even want to try! The thought of worrying about centerpieces when I was supposed to be fully present & enjoying my day didn’t excite me, so we researched day-of coordinators. After interviewing a few different coordinators, it was clear that Katelyn was the most knowledgeable, resourceful, professional & experienced. She proved to possess all of these qualities from the start to finish!
Katelyn gave me peace of mind when she got involved a couple weeks before my big day. She was honest about what was possible and direct about what needed to be done. She was in contact with my vendors several weeks before, which took a huge weight off my shoulders. We had an issue with the table and chair arrangement a couple weeks before and, just when I was about to lose it, Katelyn stepped in and handled it. Like a boss. She’s coordinated so many events that she just knows what to do no matter the situation! She took care of ordering my linens and napkins, but I planned on folding all 250 napkins myself a few days before. When I told her that, she said “no stress for you, my team will do it.” Katelyn handled the day with grace; I can’t even imagine all the problems, both small and large, that she dealt with that I’ll never even know about!
If you’re on the fence like I was about whether or not it’s worth it to hire Katelyn, I can say without hesitation that it was 110% worth it! -

I live in Massachusetts, but got married in Lake George, NY, so having Kate as "boots on the ground" in an area that I was relatively unfamiliar with was crucial. Her opinion of local vendors was spot on and vital, and she took so much off my plate - from welcome bag stationery to hair and makeup to shuttles to a room block and welcome party to wedding set up and clean up and so much more. As soon as I handed over my box of "wedding props" to Kate the Friday before my Sunday wedding, I was overcome with a sense of relief that the entire event was in great hands, and, most importantly, those hands were not mine! I was able to completely relinquish responsibility for the day and let me tell you, that feeling is SO worth it. -
Liz Sent on 09/12/2018What can I say about Kate Taylor...except that besides my husband, hiring Kate was the second best decision I ever made about my wedding. My husband and I had a crazy vision for a glamping / music festival style wedding and Kate brought our vision to life. Over the course of almost 2 years, Kate handled every aspect of this event with expertise, patience, and passion. This included the coordination of ALL logistics. From trailer bathrooms and showers, to 3 days of food and drink service, to mapping out the venue (a raw piece of land), all the way down to selecting rental lounge furniture, Kate did it all. When Kate takes on a job, she does not rest until it is perfection (for real, one night she repeatedly woke up and left her tent to restart a bathroom generator). Lastly, since I could go on forever, I want to say that Kate does an excellent job of managing the inevitable emotions and stress that come when clients plan large and important life events. We are very thankful to Kate and everything she has done for us.

We had a large wedding (250 people) and the venue we chose doesn’t come set up, you have to bring in tables, chairs, linens, place settings, and glassware. There is no way we would have been able to organize all of this, for that many people, without causing some sort of stress. Kate took care of everything! Kate recommended an amazing DJ, a wonderful florist, and also a great rental company. She organized all of the vendors, and even came to our rehearsal to organize our large family, and bridal parties. Being able to enjoy our wedding, knowing that behind the scenes Kate was making our day flow smoothly— was priceless.
If you’d like to enjoy your wedding day, sit back relax, dance and have a great time— we highly recommend hiring Kate Taylor.

This is all I needed to hear to hire Kate Taylor to be my wedding coordinator.
As brides, we spend so much time, energy, emotion and money into creating our special day. Why shouldn't we be a guest at the wedding?! Kate was always available to respond to texts and emails. She would give me her honest opinion on everything and an outsiders prospective on how she thought my ideas would roll out. I found that I started asking her questions and feedback more than my family / bridesmaids. :-)
The weekend of my wedding she was there to literally take care of everything. Overseeing the set-up, ensuring the ceremony space was how I envisioned, keeping my now husband on his timeline, following up with vendors to make sure they knew where they were going and being the person that walked behind me to ensure my dress looked perfect before "the aisle." Honestly...all I had to do the morning of my wedding was wake up, drink mimosas and get my hair/make-up done.
After the I-Do's she was the person that steered us to the photographers so we captured every photo we wanted. She was the person that stood there with a glass of white wine and came to me every other photo so see if I wanted a sip. She was the person that bustled my dress and helped "steal me away" in order to change into my dancing dress. She was the person I looked to if I had a question or a need.
I cannot say more about Kate Taylor and her desire to create the perfect day for YOU! After the wedding I found myself still texting her an emailing her because I felt I had made a friend throughout this entire roller coaster of wedding planning.
I cannot say more great things about Kate. If you want to be a guest at your own wedding, hire Kate! -

She was able to give me so many ideas and pointers that I would never have thought of myself. I hired Kate for day of coordination, and she went above and beyond my expectations. I did not have to answer phone calls or questions from vendors the day of the wedding - Kate took care of it all. We were referred to Kate from one of our bridesmaids and she was responsive from the beginning! When it got closer to the wedding she helped us construct our timeline and met with the venue coordinator to make sure we were aligned on our day plan. The day of the wedding went smoothly though there were some mishaps that Kate responded to once it was brought to her attention. She also made sure we were comfortable all day and even packed all our things and mailed our marriage license out herself! She was kind and very caring of us and didn’t miss a beat. We’d recommend her again and again! -

We hired Kate as a partial wedding planner about two years before our wedding. Living across the country from our venue, we specifically wanted someone familiar with the area and its vendors. In our initial meetings, Kate spoke about her strong relationships with local vendors, her organizational style, and her commitment not to overbook herself so she could give each couple the attention they deserved. She also emphasized her flexibility and responsiveness, which gave us confidence in hiring her.
The first several months were steady and positive, with regular meetings and aligned expectations. However, about eight months into working together, Kate’s reliability and communication declined significantly. She began canceling meetings at the last minute, missing meetings without notice, and not responding to emails for weeks at a time despite multiple reminders. When she did respond, important details were often forgotten, requiring us to repeat conversations. Each time we raised our concerns, Kate reassured us things would improve, but the same issues continued.
One of the most disappointing areas was decor planning. From the beginning, we made it clear that decor was a major area where we needed support because we lived far from the venue. Despite months of emails and attempts to begin the planning process, Kate either avoided the topic or gave vague responses before moving on to other matters. Ultimately, we had to design, source, and plan all of the decor on our own, which was one of the very reasons we had hired her in the first place. On the wedding day, she did follow our written instructions and set everything up correctly, but the actual planning process—which was supposed to be part of her contracted role—was left entirely to us.
Other contracted responsibilities were also handled late or inconsistently. Our room blocks were booked only a few months before the wedding, leaving less time for our out-of-town guests to plan travel. Kate attributed the delay to unresponsive hotel staff, but when we later called the hotel ourselves, they answered immediately and provided the information she had said was unavailable. Similarly, our guest transportation was delayed until the last minute. After months of unanswered questions, we learned only a few weeks before the wedding that our preferred vendor was no longer available, forcing us into a much more expensive option that Kate did not confirm until about a week before the event.
Vendor communication was also a recurring issue. For example, Kate received payment instructions from our hair and makeup artist but never forwarded them to us. Instead, she gave us verbal directions that turned out to be incorrect. On the morning of the wedding, we discovered that the vendor required cash only, forcing us to scramble and send a family member to the bank while getting ready. These issues could have been avoided if Kate had simply shared the vendor’s emails with us.
A deeper concern was Kate’s lack of professionalism and respect regarding identity. One of us is nonbinary, and throughout the planning process, we had to repeatedly ask Kate to use correct non-gendered language such as “spouse” instead of “husband.” While she eventually corrected her language when speaking with us directly, vendors told us afterward that she mocked my spouse when we were not present. Specifically, she made comments about their suit, which was green with white embroidered flowers, and joked about it to others in a dismissive and unkind way. Learning this after the wedding was deeply upsetting and disrespectful.
In addition, while Kate initially assured us that she does not overbook herself, during our week-of meeting she casually mentioned that she had several weddings booked for the same weekend as ours, and even more in the days following. While those events were not on the same day as ours, it confirmed our feeling that our wedding had been deprioritized.
On the wedding day itself, Kate was professional when speaking directly to us and managed the logistics and timeline competently. However, her appearance was noticeably unprofessional for a seasoned wedding planner. While we didn’t mind personally, several guests and other vendors commented on her attire, which consisted of a workout jumpsuit, flip flops, and hair pulled back in a messy claw clip. Combined with the other issues, this gave the impression that our wedding was not treated with the level of respect and care we expected.
Overall, while Kate did manage the day-of logistics well, the planning process leading up to the wedding was stressful, inconsistent, and at times disrespectful. We cannot recommend her for anything beyond day-of coordination, and if you are an LGBTQ+ couple, we strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Respect, communication, and follow-through are essential qualities in a wedding planner, and unfortunately, those were lacking in our experience. -

Unfortunately, we had a bad experience with Kate as our wedding planner. Similar to another review, Kate's communication was sporadic and poor. She would assure us that she had everything taken care of with our vendors, only for us to find out that she had either 1) not contacted them at all or 2) provided bad information to them. Kate was also in charge of making sure that all of our belongings were removed from our venue and placed in the trunk of my parent's car. One of those items was our iPad that we used for a video booth to capture memories from our night. The morning after our wedding we could not find the iPad. We called Kate and she was incredibly unhelpful and didn't seem concerned at all. Thankfully, we called the venue and they located the iPad in the caterer's tent (???). We had to drive 40 minutes back to the venue the morning after our wedding to pick it up. We also lost several other items that we have yet to locate and will probably never get back. Luckily, we had fantastic people (like our caterer, DJ, and photographer) to make sure our day went smoothly, in spite of Kate. I am not one to write bad reviews, but the service we received was so bad that it is warranted. Literally find anyone else to plan your wedding.
