  So helpful and easy to get along with!

  Full transparency, I am posting this review as a wedding DJ who has worked with Kate Taylor a bunch of times. As a wedding DJ, it's very important to me to have fun and easy to work with vendors the day of the wedding. We dont want boring energy and we dont want over the top stressed out planners. We are so lucky every time we get to work with Kate because of how awesome she is. She steps in when she needs to, but also knows which vendors she can trust to do their thing.
  
  I've seen her go above and beyond for her couples and their vendors. She is truly great at what she does and I appreciate all the talent she brings to each wedding

  Kate made our day!

  JUST HIRE HER. In all honesty, my husband was a little hesitant and didn’t think we needed a wedding coordinator — needless to say it took a LOT of convincing. Fast forward to the morning after our wedding, he confirmed that hiring Kate Taylor was one of the best decisions we made related to wedding planning.
  
  After months of stressfully planning our 200+ guest wedding on our own (on top of getting married at a brand new venue), the moment we transitioned everything over to Kate, it truly felt like a HUGE weight was lifted from our shoulders. She has an incredible way about her where she’s both very calming and friendly, while also being in complete charge of every little detail, logistic, vendor, and issue thrown at her. Despite all of the chaos that happens at a wedding, she makes sure that you as the bride and groom are completely left out of any unexpected obstacle and are just there to have as much fun as your guests. We absolutely loved working with her and our wedding would not have been the same without her. If you’re looking for a wedding coordinator or planner in upstate New York, you MUST book Kate Taylor. You won’t regret it!!

  Just Hire Her!

  Kate Taylor and her team were simply put amazing. She was responsive, helpful, organized, and knowledgeable. We knew we needed a planner as we live 3.5 hours from our venue and had to bring all our vendors into our wedding property. Kate knew the venue so well and she has such a great rep with all the vendors in the area. She picked all the right vendors that made our dream wedding possible as well. We appreciated that she was realistic with our budget and helped us plan around that and pick vendors that worked within those parameters. Day of she was phenomenal as well. We had a few things that needed fixing day of (which happens at every wedding) and Kate handled them wonderfully without a second thought. Again, just do yourself a favor for your sanity and hire Kate :)

  There are not enough words to describe how amazing Kate and her staff are. Connor and I had hired Kate for 4-6 weeks from the wedding date and from the start she was amazing, professional and extremely flexible with Connor and I's crazy schedules. She truly has a passion for this and is meant for the role. When it came to the few days before the day, she made the process of getting all the last minute details appear effortless and made our dream come to life. She even went above and beyond day of from the start including helping my mom, having cool drinks ready (water and alcohol) as it was a gross 90+, humid day and even when my other venders gave her challenges it was all handled and I didn't stress about one thing. She and Lexi are pro's at bustling and were there through the entire evening to offer drinks or ask if Connor or I needed anything. I tell everyone the next best decision after marrying Connor was having Kate and her staff to help with our day. I am thankful for them and all they did to help make Connor and I's day so special.

  Kate Taylor is a Superhero

  Kate Taylor is a super hero. I am someone who stresses over every small detail so wedding planning felt like an absolute monster to me. When my wife and I decided to work with Kate, everything felt so much easier. We didn’t have to worry about setting up hotel room blocks, we didn’t have to coordinate with all the vendors on when they should arrive, we didn’t have to come up with our own schedule or decorate the venue ourselves. Kate did it all. And she also had drinks ready for us as soon as the ceremony finished! Throughout the entire process she was easy to get a hold of and was always flexible with our decisions! 100 stars out of 10. We would recommend her to absolutely everyone!! (Also she knows every Adirondack wedding venue like the back of her hand!)

  Kate is a Godsend

  I want to start by saying that my fiance started our wedding planning journey adamantly against hiring a wedding planner, but by the end he emphatically agreed "BEST MONEY WE SPENT".
  
  I interviewed several planners prior to deciding on Kate. After speaking with her and hearing about all her experience, I was sold. I was planning a wedding in a destination I'd never even seen and I knew I needed help. Kate seemed so calm and sure, like there would be nothing to worry about.... We signed a contract for partial planning about a year before our event. I immediately went into "Go-mode" and started pulling together ideas, vendors, etc... Kate was very busy with all the 2020 weddings that got pushed into 2021 but was still available to answer my millions of questions. I had a few panic moments like "oh god, how will we pull this off" and Kate was always there, always calm. On some days I felt like I was very behind, like there were a million things I needed to do, and she always helped to keep me on track - assuring me it would come together beautifully.
  
  And boy did it! On the day of the wedding, Kate arrived with a smile on her face ready to work. She popped in my dressing room to say hello, deliver my bouquet (which she made herself!!!) and tell me I had nothing to worry about. I don't even quite know how she did it.....setting up the ceremony, doing our florals, decorating the tables and the tent....all by herself. But sure enough, when I walked out it was all completed perfectly. She was able to work within our budget and still deliver our absolute dream day. I still can't get over how beautiful our florals were. She got them wholesale to save us some money and assembled them herself. GORGEOUS. The table-scapes were just as beautiful. Not to mention all the behind the scenes things she did for us such as negotiate with vendors, help us plan a welcome dinner, coordinate with my parent's on a last minute request, etc etc etc. She did it all with grace and professionalism. I genuinely don't think you could shake this woman even if there was a tornado headed straight towards the venue. She'd simply say calmly "I've got a back up plan, don't worry." and handle it without a second thought.
  
  I can't imagine our special day without having Kate by our side. She is literally born to do this job. If you don't hire her, I'm worried for you. ;) BEST MONEY WE SPENT! A thousand star rating.

  Wedding Planner

  Kate and her team made planning our wedding seamless! Kate was very responsive, answering our many questions and keeping us up to date with vendor information and billing. She took our ideas for our wedding and blew us away! She was so creative with our decor, planned the timing of our day perfectly and took the stress away from us so we could enjoyed the day with family & friends.

  Wedding 9/25/21

  I hired Kate because she had done some weddings at our venue before. Little did I know how valuable of an investment should would end up being! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect, she did such an amazing job. Plus I felt so stress free the entire week before the wedding, knowing she had it handled. I was able to enjoy myself and not have to run around dictating to vendors or guests. Also before our wedding we had some hiccups with our venue, and Kate was more than willing to fight for what we wanted as a couple and help save the day! I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone!

  Amazing care in month-of planning and day-of coordination

  Kate was so incredibly helpful throughout our wedding planning process. While everything was up in the air with NYS COVID regulations for large gatherings, she remained positive and realistic, and helped us be prepared for when the day came, regardless of the constantly changing regulations. She helped us get organized and made sure we had all details prepared, so once the day came I trusted that with her help we had everything under control. On the day of the wedding, Kate was on top of every aspect of the day. Her organization and actions allowed us to have a super relaxed and stress-free day.
  One amazing thing that really set Kate apart in my mind was the collection of decorations/signs/accessories she had to contribute that matched our rustic venue (the Promise Gardens). It was so great not to have to purchase miscellaneous things like additional wooden rounds, seating chart paned window, and various small signs that were beautiful details.
  I really believe Kate goes above and beyond (after it rained she squeegeed the patio!), and I would strongly recommend her to anyone!

  Fantastic!

  Kate helped my now husband and I navigate the uncertain waters of having a covid wedding. She communicated and adapted very well, and ultimately our day was perfect! Couldn’t have asked for anything more. We are so grateful!

  Do yourself a favor and hire Kate for your big day! She gets your vision, pays extreme attention to detail, and is very quick to respond to the million questions you have as a bride! I never had a doubt throughout the entire planning process that we were in the best hands with Kate and her team. Her relationships with local vendors and ability to coordinate all of the moving parts of a wedding day is nothing short of impressive. She helped to make our wedding day the most perfect day and made sure that we were able to enjoy the weekend with friends and family while she took care of everything. Look no further - she's the best there is!

  Can't Thank Kate Taylor Enough!

  Getting married during a global pandemic was overwhelming and an emotional rollercoaster. I will never be able to thank Kate Taylor enough for all she did to make our special day happen last September.
  
  Kate helped guide us through New York state's COVID restrictions and timeline. She remained patient and supportive as we were forced to change our wedding plans over and over again. She was honest and transparent while staying positive and encouraging - continuously throwing out ideas and recommendations. Kate helped us manage adjusting our day, canceling specific vendors we could no longer have like our live band, etc.
  
  Despite many challenges we faced during the planning process, Kate managed to help us pull off the most beautiful and intimate wedding celebration with our families at Saratoga National. It wasn't the day we had originally planned for but it was absolutely perfect in it's own way. Kate was with us every step of the way, including day of. She helped to make our day stress-free and helped to handle every little detail (including running back to the hotel for my after dinner outfit when I had accidentally left it behind!)
  
  Additionally, while we were also planning our wedding long distanced, Kate was so knowledgeable of the local and regional wedding industry experts and all reputable businesses and helped us put together a fantastic vendor team - everything from florals to our officiant.
  
  We couldn't have done it without you, Kate! Appreciate you and know you'll continue to make couples' big days happen for years to come.

She recommended and coordinated with vendors leading up the event, and was an all-star the day of. She pulled together our furniture and decor in a way that was better than we had imagined and was super quick to adapt the layout to accommodate a small burst of rain. Relax and hire Kate!

  Treat yourself and hire Kate and her team for your special day! We hired Kate to be our DOC and it was totally worth every penny!   Helped keep our perfect day stress-free!

  Kate was our "month-of" planner and was a god-send.  She was in touch several times before "month-of" to make sure things were moving along smoothly, and when it came time for final prep she was 100% on top of everything.  All vendors were coordinated, schedules confirmed, details nailed.  On the day of, I did not have to worry about a single vendor knowing where to go or what to do because she was already on it.  I avoided being a stressed out bride thanks entirely to Kate!

  Katelyn was very responsive to all our request and listened carefully to our vision! She helped us keep on budget and made great suggestions to save $$$$ while still putting together an absolutely beautiful day!

  Wedding planner worth every cent

  We had a wonderful experience planning our wedding with Kate. She coordinated between me (all the way across the country) and my mom (in Saratoga Springs) along with all our vendors in Saratoga. Everything went perfectly smoothly. Kate was responsive and helpful at every step of the process, and knew exactly how to save us the most money. Any worries I had ahead of time she quickly alleviated. On the day of I had no worries that everything would go smoothly. Every part of the wedding was perfectly orchestrated, with everything in its place and everyone exactly where they needed to be. Kate's assistant Lexi ran the actual wedding as Kate had a larger wedding to coordinate, which we knew ahead of time. She did a fantastic job! I could not have been happier.

  Don't walk--RUN to book this planner!

  If you're wondering whether or not you should book Kate, let me tell you: do it. After moving out of state, I didn't know where to begin with planning. Kate literally handled everything from start to finish. She listened to what we envisioned and made our wedding day so, so, SO much more beautiful than I could have ever imagined--all while sticking to our budget! Kate made me feel like a guest at my own wedding; I didn't have any stress and she thought of everything in advance. I can't thank Kate enough for making our wedding such a great time and absolutely recommend her for planning your big day.

  I never thought I would hire a planner to help with our wedding, but hiring Kate & her team (shoutout to Lexi!) was the BEST decision we made when planning our wedding. We planned a NY wedding from FL, Kate & her team went above and beyond what we expected. We met over the phone several times to review details and Kate's recommendations to change some of our plans made our day that much better! Her vendor recommendations were perfect. We felt no stress all weekend, when last minute issues arose, she quickly took care of them. Kate and her team are extremely professional and detail oriented. They ensured our day was perfect and that we stayed on schedule throughout the entire day and night! I would recommend KT Events 100% for your wedding, they made our day everything we wanted

  Kate is remarkable! All around professional, creative visionary, and knows her stuff! We had a destination wedding in Lake George. My husband and I left everything to Kate.   Hire Kate!!

  I can honestly say I had the absolute best wedding and didn't have to much besides pick out my dress. How insane is that?! Kate is amazing at being the point of contact for all of your vendors and makes sure everyone and everything come together perfectly.
  Kate made what is known to be one of the most stressful experiences a couple will go through an absolute breeze for us. Most couples are scrambling at the last minute to get everything together but with Kate...we were able to relax and just enjoy each other. Even as we approached the last week before the wedding, she had everything taken care of and there was nothing left for us to do. The complete lack of stress we experienced was invaluable--- we cannot thank Kate enough for everything!

  My husband and I were married on 5/11/19 and it was a real life fairytale due in huge part to Kate! Kate goes above and beyond what is expected of her and makes sure every aspect of not just the wedding day but also leading up to your wedding day falls perfectly in place. I did not worry for a single second the day of the wedding knowing we were in Kate’s hands and I can not explain how much that meant to be able to take in every second without having to worry about anything going wrong or the timeline because Kate had it covered. She was tremendously helpful every step of the way even from the very beginning before the first vendor was chosen. She works with all of the areas top vendors and will point you in the right direction of building your dream team! Kate is one of the most passionate people I have met in this industry and she clearly loves what she does. Our wedding day would not have been the dream it was if it were not for her!
