Working with Cheryl-Anne and her team was an absolute dream. From the very start of the planning process, Cheryl-Anne guided us through every detail with remarkable clarity and care. She took the time to explain exactly how everything would unfold, which made the entire experience feel seamless and stress-free. Since our wedding was hosted on a family property, meaning every aspect of the day had to be brought in, her expertise and organization were invaluable. Her experience in the industry truly shines through, as she is exceptionally knowledgeable about her vendors and maintains excellent relationships with each of them. This ensured that every moving part is executed beautifully. Beyond her professionalism, Cheryl-Anne was incredibly receptive to feedback and worked collaboratively to bring our vision to life. As a bride who needed plenty of reassurance along the way, I felt completely supported by her and her team every step of the way.
When it comes to day-of coordination, I genuinely don’t think there’s a better team in the business. Our outdoor wedding began with what can only be described as a rainstorm of biblical proportions; torrential rain, fierce winds, the works! Yet, thanks to Cheryl-Anne’s foresight and careful planning, the day continued without missing a beat. Her team’s quick action turned what could have been a disaster into just a small footnote in an otherwise incredible celebration. Choosing Cheryl-Anne was, without question, the best decision we made during our planning process. Her professionalism, kindness, and calm under pressure demeanor made all the difference. We would wholeheartedly recommend her and her team to anyone looking for a wedding planner who delivers excellence with genuine care. -

Cheryl-Anne and her team made my dream wedding happen. We hired her team nearly 2 years in advance (thanks COVID) and she was available and helpful throughout the entire process. I honestly could not have planned a more perfect day. Cheryl-Anne is so personable, detail oriented and INCREDIBLY organized. She checked in months, weeks, days, hours before the big day -- and of course was there on the big day as well! We told her our general wish and budget for a vendor and she gave us a handful of options within days. She has a vision that I could have never seen on my own. With all of our meetings leading up to the big day - it felt as if she truly got to know my husband and I and it showed in not only in her recommended vendors but also in the final design. Every detail about our wedding felt like us. I can honestly say there was not a single hiccup on our wedding day because Cheryl-Anne and her team were always three steps ahead. There was always a plan B and C!!
If you are considering a wedding planner but aren't sure -- I can say with the utmost confidence that it is worth every penny. Cheryl-Anne and her team are worth EVERY PENNY. I would pay to have this team plan my wedding over and over again. I would recommend her to my dearest friend and to my sister. I honestly cannot recommend her highly enough. -

Working with Cheryl-Anne and Katie at Kast Events was THE best. Throughout the whole process, we knew we were in great hands. Cheryl-Anne really listened to our desires and interests so that our vision could come to life on our wedding day.
Throughout the actual wedding weekend, the team managed so many details and moving pieces calmly and efficiently so that our family and guests could be fully present in enjoying the celebration. For that, we are incredibly grateful. By the end of the weekend we really felt like they were close friends.
We love CAK and Katie and absolutely recommend this team!! Thank you thank you thank you! -

I am so grateful that we were able to work with Kast Events for our wedding day. The team was so helpful in the planning process and very responsive to all of our questions. They were really involved and no detail was too small! I truly don't know what we would've done without them the day of, either. They made everything run absolutely flawlessly and made it so we could just relax and enjoy the wedding. Can't recommend enough! -

Best wedding decision we made!
Cheryl-Anne was hands down the easiest and best decision we made for our wedding. After my intro call with her, I immediately knew I found our planner. She's patient, calm, and took any stress I had of planning away. She's extremely organized throughout the planning process and takes the time to learn about you and your partner and listen to what is important for your big day, while also sharing unique and creative ideas that we didn't think of. Cheryl-Anne absolutely nailed our wedding vision - truly exceeded all expectations we had! We could not have been happier working with her and her team. We would not have been able to get through all the planning, details, logistics, timelines, or the wedding day without her! Her team is the best! Thank you for making our dream wedding a reality! -

Our wedding wouldn’t have happened without this amazing team!!!
My Maid of Honor used Kast Events for her wedding in January 2021, and I immediately fell in love with Cheryl-Anne! Soon after was planning my own wedding for March 2022 and Cheryl-Anne was the first person I thought of before planning anything else!! Cheryl-Anne and Katie are incredibly professional, sharp, organized, fun, creative, and simply AMAZING!! They made our dream wedding a reality while also keeping me in line!
The day of our wedding it was so amazing to just show up and no one had to worry about a thing. I wasn’t stressing about what we had to do, where we had to be, where anything was, nothing. We just enjoyed the day and I was so incredibly grateful for that, not only for myself and my husband, but for our parents!
I would recommend Kast Events 10 times over, No question!!!

Cheryl-Anne and her team organized the most beautiful evening that could not have been created without their acute attention to detail, responsiveness to our individual character, and of course, their own magical touch. They possess supreme taste and incredible class in all facets. The Kast and Co team, from start to finish, were a pleasure to work with, extremely professional, and knowledgable. Their personal attention went is second to none. One such instance amongst many, was on the day before our wedding, there was a massive downpour at our outdoor venue. Cheryl-Anne worked from sun-up to sun-down to drain the tent and grounds of the rainwater. They truly went above and beyond and we cannot recommend them highly enough. -

If you are looking for a team with professionalism, knowledge of the area, attention to detail, easy going demeanor and lots of fun, you should contact Cheryl-Anne and Katie. Every single time, I (mother of the bride) had a slight panic attack, Cheryl-Anne said, "we've got that!" I felt so comfortable knowing everything for our daughter's special day was going to go great. They didn't even panic when the Tar Heel basketball team (bride's alma mater and devoted fan!) went into overtime against the number one team in the country. The game threw off our day of schedule slightly, but Cheryl Anne adjusted easily. You can not go wrong with this team! -

I hired Cheryl-Anne and her team as day-of wedding coordinators. I'm SO glad I did because they were so much more than what I expected! We had a large wedding and they helped me throughout the entire planning process. They answered hundreds of questions and were very detail oriented. They contacted all of my 15+ wedding vendors the week before my wedding to confirm everyone would be arriving on time on the day of our wedding. On our wedding day, Cheryl-Anne ensured that everyone and everything was where it was supposed to be. I'm talking about a "to the minute" timeline which she printed off copies and handed them out to the bridesmaids and groomsmen. Our wedding day ran extremely smoothly and I sat in the bridal suite the entire morning getting my hair and makeup done not worried about what was happening downstairs or outside because I knew Cheryl-Anne had it handled. They are a small team but extremely efficient and professional. I would highly recommend Kast and Co! -

An Amazing Experience
Cheryl-Anne was absolutely phenomenal with my daughter's wedding. As I live a broad it was import to have someone local to help with organizing the wedding. She took care of every single detail to perfection. Additionally, all the vendors she recommended were excellent. Cheryl-Anne is not only excellent at what she does, but is also charming and a real pleasure to work with. We could not have had such a beautiful wedding without her help. Thank you Cheryl-Anne. -

HIGHLY recommend Kast Events! Cheryl-Anne and her team were absolutely fantastic. Because of COVID, we ended up working with Cheryl-Anne for 15 months planning our wedding, and my husband and I commented to each other often that she was the best wedding decision we made. She made sure everything ran smoothly and according to our vision. She always responded quickly, had great recommendations for all of our questions and needs, and she executed on our requests absolutely flawlessly. We truly cannot thank or praise her and her team enough for the peace of mind they gave us and our families - we enjoyed every moment of our day knowing that they had it all covered. I'm so thankful I found Cheryl-Anne and her team. I could NOT have planned my wedding without her by my side. My husband and I got married at The Merrimon-Wynne House in Raleigh. Cheryl-Anne stood out from the beginning. She is kind, organized and extremely thorough. At our wedding rehearsal Cheryl-Anne came prepared with print outs of events so our family knew when they needed to arrive at the wedding. On my wedding day, I didn't worry about a thing because I knew she had it handled. The morning of our wedding, it rained. Cheryl-Anne set up the seating chart inside, changed it to outside when the sun started shining and moved it back inside when it began to rain again. She did this with such grace and calmed my nerves each step of the way. My wedding was a month ago and I still have guests commenting on how beautiful our day was. Cheryl-Anne, thank you for giving us our dream wedding. I would recommend you to all my family and friends. -

Cheryl-Anne and her team were absolutely amazing. We switched our venues in Raleigh due to the pandemic and Cheryl-Anne helped put together and execute our plans in a short time period of time. She was quick to respond, very professional, gave amazing suggestions, and was a great support through the process. Leading up to the wedding and on the day of, hiring Kast Events allowed us to enjoy the time and not worry about the details. YALL - Cheryl Anne is actually a God send. I have no idea how this wedding would have happened without her. She single-handedly made our wedding the best day of our lives. COVID changed our plans so many times and Cheryl Anne was right beside us renegotiating contracts and helping us dream and redream our day. She answered phone calls at the weirdest hours to work around my nursing schedule with no questions asked. She makes you feel like you are her only client. She takes your vision and brings it to life. She is such a genuinely kind person who is so clearly passionate and knowledgable about what she does. If you choose Kast events Cheryl Anne will feel like your wedding planner, best friend, & shoulder to freak out on all in one. Couldn't love her more! -

There are no words to describe how amazing Cheryl-Anne and her staff were for my daughters wedding. They made sure every detail was taken care of. They kept us on track with what we needed to be doing. Planning a wedding and rescheduling a wedding during covid times was difficult and they made the process seamless. They became friends and knew us and what we wanted and they walked with us every step. The week of the wedding we didn't have to worry about one thing because they handled everything. Using Cheryl-Anne was the best decision that we made. -

If you are contemplating using a wedding planner. STOP RIGHT THERE. DO IT. It was the best thing in the entire world. My husband and I are both active duty military; he was deployed to Iraq and I was in a very demanding position. I wanted to be put all my efforts into our wedding but knew work would get in the way. We discussed it and decided to go forth with searching for someone to help. If you are confused on who to choose to be on this journey with you. STOP RIGHT THERE. CHOOSE CHERYL-ANNE AND HER OTHER HALF, JUSTINE. These two women are/were my fairy godmothers. I gave my ideas and the vendors and they made my vision come to life. I was so overwhelmed once I saw everything we planned together before my eyes. Cheryl-Anne thought of EVERYTHING. From the first design meeting until our grand exit, perfection. Our family and friends could not stop talking about our day into the following week. The relationships they have with vendors is incredible and was seen throughout our day because of how seamless everything moved. The stress you think you will have the day of, was nowhere to be found because of them. I could not have asked for better women to be on our side. I love them so much and cannot wait to see what else they have planned for other couples in their future. -

I worked directly with Cheryl-Anne and Justine at Kast Events and I cannot even begin to describe how amazing they are. I was planning from long distance and they made everything so incredibly. I was more laid back about making decisions which was probably for the best - I went with basically everything they suggested and my wedding day was a literal fairy tale come to life. I gave them some basic color schemes/ideas and it's like they took the picture right out of my mind and created something amazing. I never dreamed that the day would be so perfect and it is all thanks to Kast Events. They worked so incredibly hard so that I didn't have to.
Cheryl-Anne also did my florals - I was speechless when I saw how beautiful they were and the guests could not stop talking about them.
I cannot recommend Kast Events enough - whatever is is that you are looking for I promise you will not be disappointed!!!! -

Kast team was unbelievable. Every detail covered. Always professional. Pleasure to work with, from the first meeting right through to the last minute of wedding. Also, the flowers and arrangements were beautiful. The day itself ran without a hitch and without any surprises. And as parents of the bride, that is exactly what we needed. If we had another daughter, Cheryl-Anne and her team would be our first call. -

Beyond her knowledge of local vendors and exceptional talent with flowers, she is sweet, very communicative, reliable, and professional. She REALLY knows the market and helped us pick out incredible vendors. She designed the ceremony and reception and created exactly what we wanted- she is a great collaborator and listener. She is always available and responsive, and truly made me feel supported as a frantic bride! Although she was at a different wedding on our day, her assistant Allison was with us- equally awesome! Cheryl-Anne was with us every step of the way and created the day of our dreams. She makes it look EASY, too! I cannot recommend her enough!!!

That’s how we felt when we walked out of Cheryl-Anne’s office after our first meeting. It was immediately apparent that she wasn’t just a wedding planner, but also our dear friend. By the end of the planning experience, Cheryl-Anne was even more than that… She was family. Throughout the entire process she was there for us every step of the way. From handling complicated family logistics to intuitively solving theoretical conflicts before they even arose, she was our rock and we wouldn’t have gotten through the experience without her. In addition to her organizational awareness and emotional intelligence, she was also our greatest champion. She understood our vision for the wedding from the very beginning and could speak in our stead to every single vendor, greatly reducing our stress levels. Her suggested ideas were always fantastic and perfectly aligned with our dreams for the wedding day. Simply put, she added magic into every aspect of the experience, culminating into one of the single greatest days of our lives. It wouldn’t have happened without her and for that we will always be eternally grateful.

I had very strong feelings about the look I wanted for my reception and Cheryl-Anne made my dreams and vision a reality in every way. When I had budget concerns, she helped me choose a few areas where we could scale back without losing the overall effect. She thought of details I wouldn't have thought of and was on top of every aspect of the rehearsal, wedding, and reception. On the day of the wedding, everything went like clockwork and it was quite simply a perfect event. Cheryl-Anne had a baby a month prior to my wedding and still never missed a beat. She was attentive, professional, and responsive. In a word...wonderful! -

Our special day was all I had hoped for and more. I know Kast Events played the major roll to make it a special night for my wife and me, as well as our guests. We will always choose Kast Events when we need to plan a special event in the future.
