Karissa recently helped to plan and coordinate a Celebration service for a family member. Her expertise in event coordination was incredible - she thought through every detail of the event - from utilizing space and making it as beautiful as possible to efficient food service. She helped us make all attendees feel comfortable and cared for. It was such a gift to trust the details to her, both in the days leading up to the event and the event itself. I cannot speak highly enough of her expertise! -

I can't sing Karissa's praises enough! She was a joy to work with from start to finish, well organized, and is excellent at her job. She made sure everything ran smooth, and took care of every detail so that my husband and I were able to relax and enjoy our wedding. I don't know what we would have done without her! She made sure we had our requested cocktails and appetizers ready to eat when we had some alone time right after the ceremony, she made sure the bridal suite was cleaned up at the end of the night, and she even managed to succeed in the difficult task of putting the escort cards in the corks I had cut, a task we struggled with and she willing took over. Those are just a few of the many tasks she managed to complete day of the wedding that was all done behind the scenes, leaving us to just enjoy the day. I highly recommend Karissa! -

Definitely recommend Karissa
Karissa was incredibly helpful and responsive from start to finish. My husband and I had to make multiple changes due to COVID and Karissa stepped up to help in anyway possible. Even though our day wasn’t exactly as originally envisioned, the day was still perfect and ran incredibly smoothly (thanks to Karissa)! Definitely recommend her for your wedding! -

Karissa was so great to work with as my wedding coordinator. She helped with many decisions and was always there when I needed her. She was always so positive and uplifting! My wedding day went so smoothly and everything flowed perfectly. My guests were so impressed with how everything kept moving throughout the night and told me multiple times it was such a well run wedding. I owe all of that to Karissa!! -

We booked Karissa as a Day of Coordinator, which is a great option for a couple on a budget! While I was okay with stress leading up to the wedding, I knew we would want to truly enjoy our wedding day without any worry. Karissa ensured that everything was in order and ran smoothly the day of.
Two days before our wedding our DJ canceled on us and Karissa was a great help through the very stressful process of finding a replacement. She was honest in saying the back-up DJ our original DJ found was not the best and that we should keep looking for a replacement. She immediately started making calls and sending emails to do everything she could to find us a suitable replacement. While we were freaking out inside, knowing that Karissa was doing everything in her power to find someone last minute helped put us at ease. When we found a new DJ, she immediately was in contact with them to make sure they were caught up on our itinerary and all the details of our big day.
Throughout our wedding day she had a great energy, she was sweet and calm, yet excited for us and able to command attention and order when needed. From her experience she knew when we needed to change/move things around in our itinerary and trusting her judgement paid off. We would highly recommend her as coordinator that guarantees you'll be able to fully enjoy your day while she and her assistant make sure everything goes off without a hitch! -

Karissa and her team were amazing! Her calm demeanor and professionalism was so reassuring on our wedding day. Once she arrived on-site, I could feel a sense of ease come over me as I knew every detail would be handled flawlessly! Her time management throughout our day was perfect and she made sure every detail we planned was executed perfectly.
In preparation for the big day, she was so easy to work with and had easy-to-use templates and timelines to help the planning process go smoothly. She coordinated all of our vendors seamlessly and we didn't have to worry about a thing.
I truly believe that our wedding day, our experience as the bride and groom, and the experience of our guests would not have been the same without Karissa. We were referred to her by a very good friend and would absolutely refer her to anyone who's looking for an organized, professional, and knowledgable wedding planner. Karissa was the first vendor that we booked and I am so glad we did. She was able to recommend great vendors and was so incredibly organized through the entire wedding planning process. We even changed our venue 2 months before the wedding and it didn't phase Karissa one bit. She was able to make everything we wanted come to life for our big day. I cannot recommend her enough for making your wedding the most incredible day. Our day was so seamless and it was because of her. I'm so grateful for her and her services. -

My husband and I got married August 2019 and it was absolutely a dream wedding. Karissa was amazing and went above a beyond to ensure our day was not only memorable but organized. She was way more than a day of coordinator. Throughout the year of planning she provided guise with everything from rehearsal dinner locations, to signage ideas, and even what locations should be detailed on a map for guest. She even made a great suggestion that we hire a transportation company to safely transport guest to and from the hotel to the venue.
On our wedding day Karissa arrived timely with the itinerary she created for us. Our wedding party and family raved about how she was on top of everything, every small detail. My husband and I are so very grateful for Karissa and her skillfulness with making our wedding day incredible. We wish her favor as she continues to assist and passionately bless other couples. -

Working with Karissa was one of the best decisions we could have made for our wedding! Going into wedding planning, I knew we wanted a day-of coordinator we could trust all of the details to so that we could let loose and fully enjoy our day. Karissa was one of the first vendors we booked, and we greatly appreciated her insights and advice along the way as we selected our other vendors. Her detailed and organized timeline was the perfect resource for our family, friends, and vendors to make sure we were all on the same page. On the actual wedding weekend, I especially appreciated Karissa's ability to wrangle our massive group and wrap up the rehearsal ahead of schedule. On the wedding day, when we discovered one vendor made a mistake, Karissa worked swiftly to resolve it and the issue was resoled before anyone entered our reception space. Additionally, we added a fun surprise element during our first dance, and Karissa and Rachel helped us pull it off as a complete surprise to our family and friends and without a hitch. As a person who likes to plan and make sure things go according to timeline, I truly valued being able to rely on Karissa so that I was able to be present in the moment. Book Karissa for your big day... you won't regret it one bit! -

Karissa helped make our wedding flawless! Everything I imagined on my wedding day came to life and my vision was perfectly executed. It was amazing how every little detail was done exactly how I thought it would be. The wedding day also moved seamlessly and if there were any hiccups or issues I was unaware, which is exactly what any bride would want! I don't have enough wonderful words to describe Karissa and how pleased we were to have her as our day of coordinator. She is a complete joy to work with through the entire process and takes any stress about day of details away. I completely trusted her after the first time we spoke and knew she was the right fit for us. She took my vision for our day made everything 100 times more beautiful and perfect than I could have ever imagined. Aside from being extremely organized and having a very concise business model, it is clear that she loves what she does and strives to give her clients exactly what they want and more! From the beginning she makes you feel comfortable with your plans and asks questions and has suggestions with an open mind and a drive to make your wedding the best day ever. The weeks leading to our wedding she was very involved via email and had questions for your plans that you don't even know to think of.. which was awesome! She made sure every little detail was covered!
Not to mention she took care of every little glitch with ease the day before and the day of! ]
We recommended her to all of our friends getting married, and would recommend her to anyone!

I'm told that planning a destination wedding is very stressful but I have to say that having Karissa on my team really made the process simple and enjoyable! I'm a project manager myself so I wanted to do most of my wedding planning and hired Karissa as a day of coordinator and I think it was the best investment I made for that day. She was involved from very early on and handled all my other vendors professionally and courteously. I wasn't bothered with one question on my wedding day because she handled everything so perfectly. At our walk through, Karissa had excellent suggestions for how to make the day go more smoothly and then carried out all of my DIY set up on our wedding day making the pictures that I had in my head come to life. She and her assistant were sweet and wonderfully professional and I can't recommend them highly enough!

Beth Sent on 11/12/2017Karissa was amazing to work with! When I first started wedding planning, I didn't think I would need a day-of-coordinator. But I'm so happy I changed my mind. Karissa was so thorough before the wedding - she really makes sure that she knows everything about your day. She made a very detailed itinerary for our day, and everyone in the wedding party was very impressed by that - it made everything so much easier. The day of the wedding, I didn't have to worry about set up for anything - all I had to do was just get ready for the day. I was so relaxed, and a good deal of that is due to Karissa's help. I would highly recommend her to anyone planning a wedding! -

We requested Karissa waaayyy before our wedding date and she was on top of of everything from start to finish. Karissa was very proactive in coordinating all the vendors and timelines to make everything run smoothly. She was incredibly flexible and reliable. We were planning our wedding from the west coast and met Karissa in person at our wedding rehearsal and after talking with Karissa, we knew right then that the weight had been lifted off our shoulders and we could relax and enjoy the weekend knowing that she would make sure everything got done. She typed up a very detailed and simple schedule that she provided to everyone which made the day of the wedding run smoothly.
I remember on the day of the wedding, the wedding party was waiting for our personal shuttle to take us to the church and there was a bus parked about 200 meters down the road and Karissa sprinted down to it to see if it was ours. That showed us she was not afraid to get her hands dirty and get things done!
Karissa is the sweet, southern, and professional women from Staunton that you would expect for your wedding planner and we would highly recommend her to any of our friends and family. She also had an assistant - Rachel who was awesome as well.

I can't tell you how many emails I sent her with list of questions and she always, always got back to me in a timely manner, I never once had to follow up with her. A month before my wedding she killed it. She was on top of EVERYTHING and I mean everything. She took care of the timeline, communication with other vendors and organizing everyone's arrival. We had an hour long phone call a couple weeks before the wedding for any outstanding quesitons and for her to understand where I wanted all the wedding decor and how I wanted to flow of the ceremony and recetiption to flow. She took all of the stress off of me and anything that did pop up she always made me feel confident that it was going to be okay. I put all my trust into her and I knew it would be perfect. She literally made my vision of my wedding come to life and I could not have done our wedding without her. Even my guest are still talking about how smoothly our wedding went and how organized everything was and of course I always say it was all Karissa! She is the reason my wedding went on without a hitch and even a surprise downpour in the middle of family photos she made it seem like it didn't even happen, she figured out a backup plan and kept the show moving. If you have came across Karissa's page PLEASE think about booking her because I can assure you, you will thank yourself later because I was able to enjoy my wedding and how pretty it was because of her. I cannot thank her enough and i cannot stress how much love I have for her because she made my special day PERFECT!!!! Thank you beyond words Karissa. She was born to do this job!
