Jessica was wonderful! Our trial was a success so I had very minor tweaks to the final day. Her pricing is reasonable, she is on-time and reliable (which is most important for a Bride!) and got along with everyone she encountered. I didn't have a wedding party, however my mother, sister and SIL all had services and were thrilled with her. Thanks Jessica! -

I can’t recommend Jessica enough! Jessica is a true professional. We met for my trial and tried out the wedding makeup and hairstyle and it looked even better on the big day. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day and my bridesmaids and mom looked stunning too. She was able to enhance everyone’s natural beauty. Jessica and her team are super reliable, organized, and easy to talk to, and made me feel completely at ease. Jessica is an amazing photographer too, she’s a true artist! -

Jessica and her team were amazing. She even triple checked with me when a bridesmaid wanted a similar hairstyle to me, and talked me down once or twice ;) She was on time, super accommodating. I looked amazing, the makeup and hair stayed put all day. God forbid I have to have another wedding, I'll be calling her back ;) -

Hiring Jessica was one of the best decisions I made for our wedding. For me, it was important for my wedding party to look and feel amazing and Jessica + her team did exactly that! All of my bridesmaids (& MOB/MOG) were so happy and blown away with the teams talent! I also can't thank Jessica enough for my hair... seriously I can't get over how well you did!!!

Such a wonderful experience!!! Jessica was absolutely amazing to work with! Huge plus that we were able to book for both hair & makeup services. I wanted a very natural look, and she delivered just that. She knew exactly how to keep my make up true to me but added the perfect touch of sparkle to make me a Bride! She literally can take your inspiration for what you want your look to be and she makes magic happen! From the beginning she made me and my girls feel so cared for. I could not have been happier and felt so beautiful as a bride should on her wedding day! -

I want to start by saying I was really nervous when I started searching for hair and makeup for my wedding. It was so important to me that I felt like myself, and I typically wear very little makeup. I wanted to look stunning, but natural. I’ve been in weddings where I felt really pretty, but I didn’t feel like I looked like myself under all those layers of makeup. Jessica and her team BLEW ME AWAY! Jessica has such a talent and completely understood what I meant. I felt like the best version of myself on my wedding day and I completely have Jessica to thank for it 🥰 not to mention she is such a delight to be around! We had so much fun getting ready the morning of, and every single one of my bridesmaids told me this was the best hair and/or makeup they’ve ever had done (and at this point we’ve all been in a lot of weddings!). I can’t wait to do a boudoir shoot with Jessica for a future anniversary present! -

Gina Sent on 03/23/2018Jessica was hands down the best decision I made in the entire wedding planning process. She is so wonderful, this review won't even do her justice. I had a brunch wedding and our start time for hair and makeup was 4:00. She was there on time and I never had a single worry about her being there and working magic. I went to my initial hair trial and left feeling great. I looked at her Instagram and decided to look into boudoir photography. It wasn't something I had ever considered, but I couldn't imagine doing it with anyone other than Jessica because she was so nice and made me feel so comfortable. It isn't cheap. But I cannot even begin to describe how worth every single penny I paid on it the boudoir shoot was. I felt so incredibly empowered and she made me feel like a model. Not to mention the photos are AMAZING. She is truly the best. For someone who was trying so hard to not pay a lot for my wedding, I really hated the idea of spending that amount of money on hair/makeup/photography, but I can say that it was easily the best money I spent. I cannot possibly recommend her enough. Also, all her pricing is online and accurate. Which is the BEST because quote forms stress me out. :)

Claire Sent on 11/07/2016I'm so happy I chose Jessica to do hair and makeup for me and my bridal party! She was so responsive and easy to work with! It was so nice having her come to us to do hair and makeup - made the day so much easier! I loved my hair and makeup and it stayed in place all night. She even gave me a little "touch-up" bag with my lip stick color, hair spray, bobby pins, and blotting sheets just in case I needed them throughout the night. Highly recommend!! -

Jessica Sent on 10/15/2016I used Jessica for my bridal portraits and for my wedding day. She definitely exceeded my expectations, my hair stayed in place and my make-up was absolutely flawless. She takes bridal beauty to a whole new level, not to mention she is the sweetest!! The day of my wedding I was super busy, we had to rearrange a few girls around the hair and make-up schedule, which she puts together herself ahead of time, which took stress off me, due to them helping me with reception details, she was so accommodating, even made a special trip to my reception venue, to double check my hair, make-up and do a few touch ups before my big walk down the aisle. I highly recommend Jessica, I will be using her again! -

I had no idea what to look for when I initially started my search for a hair/makeup artist for my wedding, but when I found Jessica on WW and noticed the Chicago area phone number, I knew she had to be good people. Going to her in-home studio for my trial really sealed the deal, I felt absolutely beautiful when I left there and it was so much fun talking with her. On my wedding day, she not only did my hair/makeup, but my 2 matron of honors as well. They both looked gorgeous and I was beyond thrilled with my hair and makeup for the day, Jessica really helped me create the perfect bridal look for my day! Jessica, you truly are a talented artist, and I wish you lived next door so you could do my hair/makeup every single day! -

So, I'm an NYC bride getting married in Austin. When looking for a hair/makeup artist, I had no idea where to start. There are so many options and I was slightly overwhelmed. When I came across Jessica's page, I liked her pictures, her pricing seemed slightly more affordable, and she had good reviews, so I made a leap of faith and booked her.
Well...I picked the right person! She honestly was the icing on the cake of the whole wedding weekend. Not only did she adjust her schedule so I could squeeze my trial into such a short window, but she's the whole package! She's friendly, listens to what you want, and I felt like I had just walked onto the red carpet. I'm not kidding. I am almost embarrassed at how many compliments I got. My hair and makeup is exactly what I envisioned, and it lasted through the 97 degree heat and all the way to the after party. She also did my 3 bridesmaids' hair, and they looked beautiful. And, she comes to you! My bridesmaids and I were able to relax and get ready at the venue with Jessica, so there was no last minute rushing or stress. She was practically one of the girls! I didn't know the morning of your wedding could be that stress-free! Jessica, thank you!!!

I am so happy that I used Jessica Roop for my hair and makeup for my wedding! Jessica was really responsive and helpful with creating my timeline and gave her honest advice on the timing of everything. We ended up getting ready at my house instead of the venue and our stylists, Bre and Juliette, did such a wonderful job! Along with me (the bride) getting hair and makeup done, all my bridesmaids and mother also got theirs done. Everyone was really happy with the turnout! One of the stylists made my flower girl (who's 4 now), a mini lip gloss and she LOVED it! Wouldn't put it down all night. She felt so special!
Overall, it was a really laid back morning, which was just what I needed on my wedding day. I really appreciated the ability to have the stylists come to my house, on time, and everything lined up with the timeline. Bre was super helpful in getting my extensions in and hearing the feedback I had after my trial run. She listened, gave her professional advice, and I'm really happy with the outcome! Would definitely recommend using them for your wedding! -

Jessica and her team did a fantastic job! They did hair and makeup for me as well as some of my bridal party for my big day. Jessica was so wonderful to work with and made me look so beautiful. During the trial, she listened to exactly what I wanted and was happy to adjust anything to make sure everything looked just how I wanted it. It was important to me for the makeup to look natural, and not too glam. She did a great job of bringing my hair and makeup vision to life! On the actual wedding day, I asked for a few changes from the trial and she made them without a problem. She was so professional and personable, and was just a joy to hangout with on such a stressful day! My hair and makeup stayed perfectly throughout the whole day. It even survived all the tears and some pretty intense head banging and dancing during the reception. She gave me a little touch up bag that I didn’t even end up needing because everything stayed so well. I would definitely recommend Jessica to any bride who wants to look and feel their best on their wedding day! -
