Exceptional Creativity and Attention to Detail
We hired J. Scott Weddings for our special day at the Ritz Carlton, Las Colinas. Jessica is an exceptional wedding planner who truly exceeded our expectations. Her attention to detail, creativity, and ability to personalize our wedding made our special day unforgettable; we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We cannot recommend Jessica Scott enough. -

Best decision I made regarding my wedding!
We hired Jessica for full planning and it was the best decision I made my whole wedding! First she was just an absolute pleasure to work with. She is always responsive, kind, honest and just a great person overall. I am pretty type A and picky so the process of planning a wedding was stressful for me before it started, but she first caught my eye when she responded to my initial email just to set up a meeting within minutes! From that moment on she exceeded my expectations. She also has just a great relationship with lots of vendors and this allowed me to have lots of options and also great communication/ relationships with them. She made sure everything and everyone was perfect! I can honestly say my wedding was perfect and everything I wished it to be and more and it’s all thanks to Jessica and her team! Jessica is also extremely creative and can make any vision come to life, I was able to bring ideas to her and she was able to add to it and make it so special! On top of being creative she is very professional and attentive! Always quick to respond to every need and always available for a chat! She made the process of wedding planning and the wedding day seamless and stress free!Jessica is like family to us now and we are so thankful for her and her team! I can not recommend her enough! -

Working with Jessica was a DREAM! She helped me plan the perfect wedding weekend. I knew the things that were important to me and the things I didn’t want at my wedding, but had no idea how to get started. She gave me endless options and suggestions. Not only was she professional and incredibly creative, she was also just a lovely, friendly person to work with. She was so attentive so what I wanted and always made herself available to me. My rehearsal dinner and welcome party was stunning! My wedding was more incredible than I could have imagined. She brought in the best vendors and put everything together so perfectly. On the day of the wedding, there were a few small hiccups (not Jessica’s fault at all) that upset my somewhat-difficult mother (sorry, mom). Jessica handled it all with such grace. I cannot recommend Jessica enough! -

In January of 2022 was when my now husband and I had our first phone call with Jessica. We immediately felt so comfortable talking to her like we have known each other for many years. Over the wedding planning process she recommended a lot of different vendors that were top tier and that was exactly what they were. She worked with us every single step of the way and when I say that I mean that. Any concerns we would have she would listen and if anything happened with a vendor she was on it immediately. She is very communicative and organized which are things that are a must when it comes to planning. Jessica is also very personable and will not let you stress. Whatever meetings you would like to have with her she will do and she will always make sure that you know when payments are due. She will not let you fall behind and if anything you will be always be ahead of schedule. When it came to the day of the wedding, Jessica and her team were ROCKSTARS!! I have never in my life seen someone who bounced back and forth as much as Jessica did. If we needed something she was on it so fast that I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I am a very stressed individual in general but that day I was so calm because everything was taken care of and Jessica and her team were there for all needs before the ceremony. For example, there was a rip in my dress and Jessica came and saved the day with her emergency kit and had safety pins on deck. She made sure that everyone was doing okay and that everyone was being taken care of. Jessica and her team want every single person involved to be relaxed. When it came to the reception we had a little hiccup with some family members but she squashed that so quickly so that my husband and I didn't have to deal with it or stress about it at all. She made sure that we were doing okay during the beginning of our reception but took a backseat to make sure that we could enjoy our night with friends and family. She would come in to make sure that we were on time with speeches, cake cutting, and our private last dance. When my husband and I left in our Uber and arrived home when we were unpacking the trunk there were late night snacks, left over meals from the venue, cake, and all of our personal things. All of that stuff was done before our Grand Sparkler Exit. Our wedding was beautiful and was way way above any expectations that we originally dreamed of. We can't thank Jessica enough for everything she has done because it is a day we will never forget. If you are second guessing that you want Jessica as your wedding planner we can promise you that you will not regret you choice one bit by choosing her.
Jessica, KC and I can't thank you enough for everything you have done for us and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything. That day was beyond everything we imagined :). You mean a lot to us and we can't wait to keep in touch with you with whatever milestones KC and I go through throughout our marriage. -

Hiring Jessica and her team at J. Scott Weddings was probably the best decision we could've made when planning our wedding. Jessica and her team are fantastic at what they do and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a full-service wedding planning team. Jessica assisted us every step of the way, and handled all vendor communications. She even provided a thorough checklist of tasks that we needed to complete, and the timeline as to which they needed to be completed. She kept us on track with vendor payments, and made sure we never forgot anything. On our wedding day, we woke up stress-free and Jessica handled everything. Our wedding was spectacular and the most magical day! You will not regret hiring J. Scott Weddings to help plan your event! -

Jessica & her team were AMAZING! You will not regret having them be apart of your special day. We did the month-of planning package & we got so many compliments on how perfect the day was. Our little secret was J.Scott Weddings! Not only did they go over all of our contracts & assist with anything I may have missed but there were SO many moving parts throughout the day that I didn't have to worry about (& honestly didn't think about before hand). From coordinating set up with vendors, making sure everyone was on time, getting us food/drinks & packing everything up for us... we just got to show up and truly be present for our wedding day. For that we are so thankful! Jessica took over our wedding details about 6 weeks before the wedding & she made us feel like we had known her for the entirety of our engagement! She was attentive, organized & encouraged us & our vendors throughout the entire process. You definitely need J.Scott Weddings for your special day! -

I had the fortune of locating Jessica well in advance of our wedding as one of several potential planners that solicited our request for information. It was an easy decision since Jessica offered us a detailed vision of our wedding in 9 months along with her personal involvement and accessibility throughout the process. That was a grand understatement! She was in consistent communication with both myself and my fiancé, ensuring a robust selection of vendors, tight adherence to selection/payment deadlines, and a complete removal of the stress involved in planning my own wedding. With several last-minute vendor cancelations and other changes, Jessica ensured she had a secured a solution prior to ever requiring us to worry. The wedding itself was magical, and we are thankful that Jessica played a major role in ensuring this day was the best day of our lives so far. I strongly recommend her comprehensive wedding planning services to any couple! -

Jessica and her team are absolutely spectacular. Jessica is on top of EVERYTHING. Dealing with several Covid postponements was stressful and Jessica and her team always made me feel at ease and confident that we were taken care of. She was so committed to serving me and my mom! She took care of things before we even asked. Our reception was her first time planning a wedding at our venue and you would have thought she planned weddings there 100 times over. She can seriously handle anything and I'm so grateful to have hired her team! -

Jessica is a dream to work with! I didn't think I needed a planner but with COVID and so much uncertainty she bought an immediate sense of calm and made sure my wedding day was absolutely perfect! She thought of every detail (large and small) and handled all of the communication with my vendors so I could just enjoy being engaged. On the day of she was a breath of fresh air and her personality just added to the festive atmosphere - she's quick to respond, fun to work with, very professional and ultra creative. Definitely the person you want in your corner for the big day :) -

Where do I start... Jessica... a God-send! I started a Pinterest board when I was 12, so I thought planning a wedding would be a breeze. Welp... after the first 3 days of wedding planning, I was overwhelmed and knew I needed help- that’s when Jessica came in. She knew EVERYTHING about all vendors and sent me multiple options for everything to help me pick my final choice. If there was a vendor she hadn’t worked with before, she did her research to be sure that I (the bride) would be 100% satisfied with my choice. From a change of venue, to a change of wedding date- Jessica was there for it all. I cannot say enough nice things about Jessica. If I ever plan a wedding again in the future, I know my first vendor pick will be J Scott Events ❤️ -

I know it's been said time and time again but I am here to confirm that it is nearly impossible to put into words how valuable Jessica is. Her organization, communication, transparency, confidence, timelienes-her talent is unmatched. I was never the little girl who grew up planning her perfect wedding and I had no idea where to even start (besides my pinterest board lol) but Jessica was on top of literally EVERYTHING. Even after the wedding during a few hiccups with a vendor she was willing to help with contract negotiations and timelines. When getting my trial hair and make-up done, when my artists found out thata Jessica was my planner and they were so excited because they love working with her and mentioned how lucky i was. Aside from typical wedding jitters, I never felt anxious about any detail of our wedding because I knew she had it under control. Our wedding day could not have been more beautiful and gone any smoother than it did. Jessica is a dream. It's been 3 months since our wedding and we still have people commenting on how smooth it went, how beautiful, and how amazing it was. My husband and I give all the credit to Jessica because without her I truly do not know how we could have done it. She even went on a chick-fil-a run for our wedding party, and brought a steamer and steamed our dresses the day of the wedding! COVID has impacted wedding planning so much and I feel for all couples trying to plan during this time but I am telling you, do not walk - RUN, to book Jessica because she is the BEST and you will not regret it. -

Jessica and her team were incredible! We tasked them with planning a wedding in just four short months. They were able to put together a black-tie wedding in that amount of time, and it could not have been more seamless. Details as small as a cake topper all of the way to vendor coordination was completed with little to no communication on our part. We simply had to pay our vendors and go. Jessica was always quick to respond with any questions we might have had and never left any details out when presenting options. Jessica attended all meetings with our venue and was able to complete those single-handedly when we were not available. She is THAT trustworthy, and she thought of things we simply overlooked or dismissed. She also navigated some of my minor meltdowns as well, even though that's not in her job description. I would choose her over anyone else a thousand times over. -

As a professional photographer, Jessica collaborated with me and my staff regarding our shot list that we had to fulfill in order to create some amazing images for Ashley Cain-Gribble and Dalton Gribble. We worked very well as a team and communication was always clear either through text messages or emails. She was able to provide our client with the best service possible from coordinating with other vendors to keeping the entire wedding on time and on schedule. I highly recommend Jessica to any bride who is willing to trust her experience. She will always deliver an outstanding service for any bride. -

Jessica was great through the whole process! When we first got engaged I didn't think I needed a planner - I thought I could handle everything on my own. Well I was definitely wrong about 6 months in, Lol! So I made a post on TWM and everyone raved about Jessica Scott so I messaged her. I interviewed a couple more planners but once I got on a phone call with Jessica and I was telling her my dreams for the wedding and what we had planned and her attitude and personality made me pick her as our wedding planner. She was so excited about it being a July 4th wedding and how I wanted our dogs apart of the whole day and how alpacas would be involved as well. She helped me so much and we definitely went through some complications along the way but she had my back and she was able to make it happen! I was also not the easiest bride with all my different vendors and so so many details. I had dreamed about this wedding for so long that I probably pinned over a thousand pins. So Jessica being so organized helped so much to narrow down exactly what we wanted! When it came to the big day - she is the queen about timing! Her timeline is down to perfection which makes the day go by easier. I felt like the flow of our wedding went so easy and was perfect. We both couldn't have asked for a better day. At the end of the night; Jake said Jessica was awesome - she did everything I asked for and it was great!! Lol. Thank you Jessica so much for making our dream day come true and being so understanding with me changing my mind a million times on everything. I def recommend her (: -

I couldn't have better things to say about working with Jessica Scott from J. Scott Events. Throughout the planning process, Jessica was positive, organized and resourceful. She has incredible connections with an abundance of vendors. She has many different services including full planning, partial planning, coordination, floral design, bride mentoring, corporate & social events, and á la carte options!
My husband and I travel an insane amount for our work. Jessica helped to alleviate any additional stress leading up to the wedding by providing a great amount of communication between all of the parties involved, helpful tips to manage the big day, and always had a calm and collected, positive attitude. She took the reigns on our rehearsal day and made sure all of our attendants knew exactly what they were doing. She made it incredibly fun and enjoyable throughout.
On our wedding day, I knew I had absolutely nothing to stress about because Jessica had everything organized and handled. Every little detail, every step of the way. I couldn't have asked for a better planner, and am so grateful that we were able to have Jessica help us throughout our wedding planning.
I would recommend J. Scott Events to absolutely everyone who has an event! -

Jessica is just about the sweetest person ever and she did an amazing job organizing our very difficult wedding. We got married in Sundance Square and this required a LOT of vendors. She handled it all perfectly and organized EVERYTHING flawlessly, including getting insurance from every single vendor due to Sundance Square's rules and staying late due to the rain and delays in break down from the vendors. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding planner and I absolutely cannot imagine doing it without her! If you're considering a wedding planner, just go ahead and hire Jessica!!! You won't be disappointed! -

Perfect day!
As a bride I know what you are looking for in a planner, and let me tell you... Jessica is it! Look absolutely no further. We are from Kansas and got married in Midlothian at Firefly Gardens. From the beginning Jessica was so helpful, even in vendor recommendations. She has built up great relationships in the industry and that will only benefit you! We had last minute issues with our officiant and Jessica was to the rescue!! She helped put into reality our vision for our day. She is a servant in heart, and anticipates needs.. even if its just a fresh drink during your reception. It is those little details that make her amazing at what she does! My husband gives her this review " she was great from start to finish, she met and even exceeded our expectations, I would give her 6 stars out of 5..she made our day perfect" -

Jessica was fantastic in making our wedding day run smoothly! Obviously, a COVID wedding is no fun and makes for so much extra work. I hired Jessica as my "day of" coordinator so she started working with me about 2 months out. I COULD NOT believe how organized this woman is. I consider myself to be pretty organized but this is next level. Her timeline skills, ability to tell everyone where they need to be and when, etc. were off the charts. She also was the strong woman when vendors weren't listening to what I wanted, really advocating for me so I had everything to make my day perfect. I cannot say enough times how nice it was to wake up on my wedding day and know I didn't have to worry about anything! The whole day went so smoothly until the very end of the night when we ran into some snafus. Jessica went above and beyond to fix what went wrong/do her best to make up for what couldn't be fixed. Obviously no bride wants anything to go wrong, but I appreciated Jessica's response and her ability to calm me down and fix the problems. -

I couldn't imagine wedding planning without Jessica
As the title says, I couldn't imagine wedding planning without Jess. From the first phone call, I felt so at peace with having her help. She was able to translate my wedding vision into "wedding lingo" to our vendors. I wanted to make a wreath at our venue and had trouble describing what I wanted to our florist. Jessica stepped in and helped make our beautiful wreath not only more affordable, but also, exactly what we had in mind. Our venue meet was wonderful and so smooth as Jessica coordinated almost everything with the venue coordinator.
In April, we officially became a covid couple and had to postpone our wedding. While it was heartbreaking, we were so grateful to have Jessica there the whole time. She orchestrated the whole postponement so seamlessly. I can only imagine the nightmare I would have experienced if she hadn't been there to help us out. She is an A-type personality bride's greatest comfort.
We were thankfully able to host a safe (and downsized) wedding. Jessica took care of all the details (even down to steaming our bridesmaids dresses). I couldn't tell you what happened behind the scenes on our big day because Jessica took care of it all! She is trustworthy. I saw a review that describes her as a wedding fairy godmother; it is 100% true and I couldn't think of a better descriptor. -
