One of the things we loved most was the planning software they use—it was so easy to navigate and kept everything in one place. We cannot say enough amazing things about our wedding in Vail with Ivory Events! From the very first conversation, they understood our vision and brought it to life in a way we couldn’t have imagined. Planning a destination wedding in the mountains can be overwhelming, but their knowledge of Vail, their relationships with top local vendors, and their flawless organization made the entire process stress-free.

Honey was an absolute dream to work with!! From our very first meeting, Honey and Camille went above and beyond. She is kind, thoughtful, organized, detail oriented, and so much more! My fiancé and I wanted to plan a beautiful ceremony and reception to celebrate with friends. Hiring them was the best investment we made. We couldn't be happier with our experience with Honey, Kourtney and Earlie of Ivory Events. They were absolutely amazing and played a crucial role in making our wedding day flawless and special. Their detailed yet efficient spreadsheets were incredibly helpful, organizing every aspect to ensure everything ran smoothly and everyone was where they needed to be – which is HUGE!!!
A huge shoutout to to them for turning our wedding vision into a stunning reality. With just an inventory list and a few ideas they brought our decor vision to life and created a truly beautiful day. Everything ran according to the timeline, thanks to their meticulous planning and execution.
They were always prompt in asking about our needs and making sure they were met and asked numerous questions ahead of time to avoid bothering us on the day of the wedding. They also took the time to memorize everyone’s names and learn about the bridal party, which added a wonderful personal touch. Plus, their friendly and personable nature made the entire planning process enjoyable. We highly recommend them for all events and weddings. They took all the stress off our shoulders!

I cannot rave about Honey and Ivory Events enough!!!!!! Having our wedding last year after being postponed, presented obstacles we weren't prepared for, however Honey helped us adjust as needed and navigate through all obstacles seamlessly. Honey and her team are reliable, responsive, and most importantly, a trusted source for anythingggg and I mean ANYTHING wedding related! Ivory Events and Honey communicated with all of our vendors and all of us throughout our planning process and made suggestions that added special touches to our special day and made us feel amazing and special!!. Working with Ivory Events was amazing! We hired them for month of planners for our wedding in October 2021, but they truly helped out since the time that we booked them in August 2020. They responded quickly to every email and question I had. We would have monthly check-ins to see everything was going well. When it came to the wedding weekend Emily and Mireya were absolutely fantastic. They were attentive and professional, but also passionate and kind. They made my husband and I feel so special and loved the whole weekend! -

Having Ivory Events a part of our day was the BEST decision we made! I didn't know how much I needed them until I started working with their team! I cannot say enough good things about them. Kari was amazing and thought of every little thing and made the day SOOOO stress free! They are the sweetest, nicest, most helpful people ever. I cannot recommend them enough! The best coordinator you could ask for!
THANK YOU Ivory Events! We worked with Kari and Idania and they made everything so easy. They provided recommendations throughout the process and made sure everything on the day went smoothly. We gave them very little direction on the decorations for the ceremony and reception and everything turned out better than I could've imagined. We didn't have to ask for anything on the day and everything just went so perfectly. This team will work their butts off for you. Would recommend them to anyone! -

I’m SO happy I found Ivory events! I honestly don’t know what we would have done without them. This was probably the most difficult year to have a wedding and they delivered the most perfect day for us. All of the vendors they connected me with were amazing and reliable! The entire process was so easy and enjoyable. The day of coordination was much appreciated too! I didn’t have to worry about anything. Everything was more perfect than I had imagined and I got to enjoy my day. I can’t say enough good things about them! They are the reason I was a very relaxed bride :) -

My number one recommendation to all brides is to get a day of coordinator for your wedding and if you can, do Ivory Events! Sarah helped me with all the details and schedule before the wedding and the day ran perfectly. She was seriously so amazing and organized. She was there anytime I had questions and thought of details that I would have never thought of. It allowed me to enjoy every moment of the day knowing that Sarah had everything under control. Sarah and the Ivory team are more valuable than gold. If you’re questioning whether or not to hire a day-of coordinator, my advice is 10000% DO IT. There are so many elements I hadn’t even considered as being so integral to the day, which the team simply handled without blinking an eye. I can’t tell you how comforting and incredible it was to walk into a fully decorated venue for the first time, to know a timeline was being followed, to have peace of mind that our families and friends were being directed to the right place, to have SALMON AND DONUTS (separately, mind you) packed up to enjoy after returning to the hotel... I could go on and on about the tiniest details that made our day astoundingly perfect. Sarah is Queen. She was calm, composed, communicative, and personable- truly a rockstar. As a type-A planner myself, even my attempts to micromanage the details of the day were gracefully taken from my hands by Sarah. I don’t know what we would have done without this team. Hire them NOW. -

We hired Ivory Events to be the Day Of Coordinators for our wedding and we could not have done it without them! They worked my sister-in-law's wedding last year, and it was an easy choice to bring them on for our wedding. Honey and her team are very thorough, organized, thoughtful, and willing to make everything you envision come true. Loving, caring, fabulous team!
We would absolutely recommend Ivory Events! We worked closely with Madison and she was such a calming presence the entire planning process. She had great suggestions and handled all the minor details with care. Since we live out of state, Honey and Madison gave us reassurance that everything was going smoothly. They handled our walk-through since we could not be there and I honestly didn't have to worry about a thing. During the planning process, we had a lot going on (job changes, MBAs, moving, etc.) and the Ivory Events team took on a lot of the planning coordination/handling vendors. The day of the wedding couldn't have been more perfect. Madison made sure we had snacks, food, drinks, etc. They coordinated all the details and we just had to show up. It was such a relief and we were able to just immerse ourselves in the day and celebrate with our loved ones. You could tell that Ivory Events really cared about making our day magical. The team was just tremendous and I highly recommend them. -

Honey and her team made our wedding go off without a hitch. We did the day-of package but well before that they were in contact with us making sure that every detail was planned out. They thought of things I would have never thought of on my own even with a 3 book I had to help me. I didn't have to think about anything the day of except for having a wonderful wedding which is how it should be. They were responsive, professional, and made sure that we kept to our timeline throughout the entire day. They took away the stress of having to think about every little detail and did it for me. If I ever needed a suggestion for how to make something happen, a vendor, typical etiquette, whatever it was, they took care of it. Beyond making sure the event went well, they made sure my husband and I were doing ok as well but they never were bothersome. I enjoyed my entire day and never once had to think about how someone was getting paid, tipped, what had to be cleaned up or put away, etc. They made it so I could actually enjoy the process of planning a wedding! You should not have a wedding without Honey and her team! -

We we decided to have a wedding with a lot of DIY decor and details and holding it at a venue where we had to build it from the ground up, I knew a coordinator was a must. I am SO HAPPY we went with Ivory Events! We hired them as our coordinators and I honestly cannot remember if they were month of, 60 days out, 90 days out because they were there assisting me with vendor recommendations, planning meetings, and answering questions from day 1. They were always friendly and helpful and as a bride attempting to plan, organizing, and execute a "Style Me Pretty" wedding on budget they kept the ship sailing straight. I could honestly go on and on about their organization, CO wedding knowledge, the customer service, etc. But here are the top examples of how they stood out to me:
1. Always responded to emails in 24 with solutions and help.
2. Meteorologist on call the day of the wedding! So comforting to get very clear updates that weather will be good for your outdoor wedding come ceremony time when it is downpouring at 2:00 PM!
3. When we had a horrible situation with our rental company they day of the wedding, they FIXED it on their own and we were none the wiser and just enjoyed our day!
4. Really listened to my desires and wants and combined it with their knowledge of making a wedding day run. I got the wedding of my dreams with next to no snafus because they saw problems before hand and fixed it.
5. Great industry connections. All of our other vendors had such nice things to say about Ivory Events.
6. This might be the most important. They listened to our desires and when we were concerned or unhappy about something in regards to coordination services they listened, communicated, and found great solutions. It is easy to be great when all is going perfect. It is outstanding to be able to listen to customer feedback and find solutions that make all parties happy.
If you want your wedding to go off without a hitch, even when curve balls are thrown the day off, go with Ivory Events! -

Overall Ivory Events helped us with exactly what we needed from them. We booked the partial wedding coordination as we needed some "boots on the ground" being an out of state couple during the COVID-19 pandemic. They were excellent at reviewing our contracts and recommending vendors that we still had not booked (honestly some of our favorite vendors were recommended by them!). They had experience with our venue and knew the ins and out of what we could need. Their day of coordination services were great too, as the bride I barely recall them being around but also I barely recall there being ANY issues with the timeline which tells me they did their job in the shadows and kept our wedding going as planned. Honey and her team do an excellent job at all hours of the day to keep a bride sane. I think our one and only con would be that we did not get one specific planner assigned to us until 90 days before the wedding, which meant sometimes our questions to one staff member would get bounced to another, not a huge deal, but sometimes made it less personable in the planning process. Overall we were very happy with Ivory Events and would recommend them to any Colorado Couple -

I do not recommend Ivory Events - especially for the full service package. I was an out-of-state bride who was looking for support in finding vendors, the venue, walkthroughs, set-up, and day-of help as we were from out of town and needed local expertise. After speaking with Honey during our initial consultation, I thought their service would work for us. However, I did not know that their communication with myself and vendors would be so poor. I was constantly frustrated throughout the planning process because on their portal and email chains there were numerous planners I have never met nor spoken with (often times 5+ people from Ivory). I had a lead planner at one point (Jaqui) who seemed great but she disappeared and I was never made aware of having another lead planner assigned to me. I had to repeat my vision numerous times to numerous planners throughout multiple meetings. Although they did help me sort through venues and vendors, their poor communication with the vendors caused issues. For example, we did not know how many or whom from Ivory would be on-site for the wedding and neither did the vendors. Another example is that the timeline for the florist was miscommunicated by Ivory and their solution to solve it (on the week of the wedding, while I was driving from Georgia to Colorado) was to have a massive email chain which confused and frustrated me. As a result, I made the decision to not have flowers at my bridal shoot because I did not have time to manage the Ivory Event team. They should have provided solutions, not have forwarded a massive chain to me expecting me to problem-solve. The rehearsal itself missed basic steps such as practicing the grand entrance, how to throw a bouquet, and how to hold a bouquet for pictures (low by your waist, btw!). These are simple tips that I would have expected to have recieved with the amount of money I paid for this service and would have saved me a lot of embarrassment. Due to the constant change of personnel throughout the planning process, we only had 1 planner on site on our wedding day that was present at our planning meetings. This caused issues during the wedding where little details were missed: the guestbook wasn't noticed by our guests as it was placed in the back of the reception, the gift bags weren't set out in time, the ushers were left to the very last minute, questions to myself and the groom during the reception about minor things already discussed in the meetings or the rehearsal. All my other vendors were excellent; the level of professionalism displayed by the venue and other vendors shows how unprofessional Ivory Events really is in regards to communication. For transparency, my original review was disputed - I just want other brides to be aware of issues I experienced.
