We got married at the Inn on Broadway October of 2021 and wouldn't change a thing. We began our planning process in August of 2020, we were undecided on who's hometown we wanted to get married in. Over the course of several weeks we easily saw over 15 venue's between Rochester and Buffalo.
Abbye and her team at the Inn on Broadway were so patient with us as we compared venues and asked numerous questions. We visited the Inn many times before making our decision, the staff their always gave us a warm welcome making us feel at home. We brought our parents along for our final tour and decided to end our evening at Tournedos, the quality of food was amazing and we could see it representing us on our big day. Food was a very important part of our big day, throughout the planning process Abbye worked with culinary team to accommodate our vision and find solutions to our dietary restrictions. Our guests were truly amazed with the quality of food from the hors d'oeuvres, dinner, dessert, and not to mention our farewell brunch.
As a bride with a hectic schedule Abbye was so accommodating. She always responded quickly and made time to meet with us. She remembered all of the small details we discussed in our meetings and executed them. Her attention to detail was so reassuring, when it came to the day of, we weren't anxious about the setup of ballroom at all. Abbye was certain to ask all of the questions in advance and really took the time to get to know us as a couple and our vision. We were so excited to see the ballroom and the reception, as soon as we walked in it was instant tears of joy. We loved and appreciated every small detail that went into creating our perfect reception.
It's been over 4 month and we are still so grateful for Abbye and the team at the Inn on Broadway for our perfect day. -

My husband and I pursued the Inn on Broadway as the location for our wedding because we wanted a classy venue that was unique. We chose the Inn on Broadway because of their dedicated staff and their commitment to being there for us throughout the wedding planning process. We loved the warm feeling at the Inn and the hospitality we received. We loved having everything in one location, the ceremony, the reception, and the ability to walk upstairs to your room. Abbye and her team made our requests a reality and were so on top of everything. I knew I could trust the wedding in their hands. After all of the decisions were made, my husband and I were able to enjoy our day. The food was incredible and I know our guests enjoyed everything so much. The desserts were perfection and presented so sweetly. I wish I could do it all over again and relive those memories. I'm grateful our venue is also an Inn and has the restaurant so we can relive our wedding again on our anniversary. Thank you Abbye, Lynn, and the staff for making our wedding so beautiful. -

From excellent service, to delicious food, to great attention to detail, the Inn on Broadway exceeded our expectations at every level! The Inn coordinated with all of our vendors to create a hassle free day for us. Abbye did a great job of helping us plan, organize, and execute on our vision for the day. The staff covered every detail we requested and went out of the way to make sure our guests were taken care of, including special requests. The Inn was flexible in putting together a customized package that accommodated our preferences. We could not be happier with how our wedding day went and that is a credit to all the hard work that Abbye and her team put into our event. Run, don't walk, to reserve the Inn on Broadway for your Rochester wedding! -

We held our rehearsal dinner (for 30) followed by a welcome drinks party for all of our guests the evening before our son's wedding. Abbye Schmitz, the event coordinator, was extremely helpful in helping us make decisions and was always responsive to all my questions. The rest of the staff was lovely and efficient. The L-shaped ballroom was perfect for our events. The space was beautiful, and the lantern decor we added made the space and table look elegant and cozy. The food was great -steak lovers were thrilled!--and beautifully presented. Dinner was an excellent value, and there were options for different dinner packages. The displays of spiced nuts and popcorn and cheese platters we added for the drinks portion were beautifully presented. Our event was a great success. Everyone loved this beautiful, restored, historic, venue. -

Our daughter was married on June 5th, 2021. The Inn On Broadway helped us create our daughter's dream wedding. Every aspect of our experience was positive. Abbye, the events director, was responsive to every question, organized and on hand to help during our event. The food, venue, (flowers and decor, by Erin McDonald), and service were excellent. We are beyond satisfied.

We had an amazing wedding experience at The Inn on Broadway February 22, 2020. Decorations, tables, ceremony, drinks, appetizers, meal, dancing, music, late night burgers. All fantastic. Brenda, Abbye, and the rest of the folks put on an unbelievable show for my daughter.
Sure, it initially seemed expensive, as all weddings do, but the value was truly great for the event. I wish I could share more pictures of the venue and the decorations and the food. It was perfect for our 75+ people, although they could have easily accommodated many more. The amazing windows and views in winter alone was worth choosing this hidden gem.
You must check this place out for your wedding! Once you walk up from the beautiful downstairs areas at Tornadoes restaurant, and see this ballroom, you will be sold. And once you talk to Brenda, you will be doubly sold. She worked so hard for us, with any available deals she could muster, and then working with our own provided decorations folded in with theirs, they ended up with magical and beautiful tables, the fireplace mantle, and everywhere else. The food was top notch, truly worth the whole evening. Everyone was buzzing about the pastries and deserts. The late evening burgers and fries were delicious and a great welcome surprise. They took care if everything. Congratulations to my daughter Tiffany, but also to Brenda, Abbye, and The Inn on Broadway , or a truly spectacular, unforgettable evening! Thanks Brenda! -

Our wedding was absolutely beautiful. The atmosphere was perfect for Christmas. Everybody raved about the food and I'll be dreaming about the baked mac and cheese for the rest of my life. Sara was a fabulous coordinator and a wonderful person. Many thanks to all the staff, the servers and bartenders were amazing all night. Honeymoon suite was AWESOME. Wish I had that bathtub in the apartment :P

From the beautiful chandeliers, to the intricate murals on the wall, everything about the ballroom is simply breath taking! The Staff are all accommodating and give the best service making you feel like a king or queen on your special day! Jessica and Alyssa Klein, the wedding coordinators, take care of every detail leaving you to the fun part of planning! Right down to the very moment before the entrance, they were helping to bustle my dress for the entrance! They are simply an amazing team and a huge asset to the Inn on Broadway staff! All Inn on Broadway staff were amazing during our weekend stay, from the front desk clerk to bartenders and kitchen staff! Highly recommend for your wedding reception and/or ceremony site!! -

Taylor Sent on 10/13/2016I cannot say enough good about The Inn on Broadway, as well as Alyssa and Jessica. Because of Alyssa and Jessica, we had our dream wedding and the entire night went ridiculously smooth. From the very beginning at our first appointment, Alyssa was organized and knowledgeable. She was ALWAYS accessible and answered every question I had quickly and comprehensively. For each table we had for our wedding, the centerpieces were all different- I can't even describe what a wonderful job Alyssa and Jessica did. Every table was stunning; guests are still commenting to me about them! Alyssa made sure everything was on time and running smoothly and she often checked on us throughout the night to make sure we were ok. The venue itself is absolutely stunning; and at the end of the night, we came back to our room to find leftovers wrapped neatly and waiting for us since she knew we hadn't been able to eat much. I cannot recommend this venue enough; if you are lucky enough to work with Alyssa and Jessica, you will not be disappointed! -
Jessica Sent on 04/21/2018The Inn on Broadway was the first venue that my wife and I visited when deciding on a venue for our December 16th. 2017 wedding. We fell in love instantly and, though we viewed a few more places, no other venue was able to steal our hearts from the Inn on Broadway.
The venue itself is a beautiful boutique hotel, and although the price point is a bit higher it is well worth paying as the price includes a member from their events planning team to help everything go smoothly. The food was incredible, they worked with us on everything we needed and our guests could not stop raving about how wonderful everything was.
They did have us a little concerned a few months before the wedding as there was a shakeup in the wedding coordination team that we worried would de-rail plans, but in this industry there is never a good time for a team change and Sara did incredibly when making sure everything happened the way it was supposed to.
We were able to use the roof for pictures of the beautiful Rochester City-Snowscape, and by the end of the night, they had even made sure there was a bottle of champange and a sweet "thank you" note waiting for us in our free newlywed suite.
If you're looking to have a smaller wedding (say 100 guests, comfortably), my recommendation would be The Inn on Broadway to anyone who asked. -

Heather Sent on 09/16/2013We had an AMAZING wedding here, the building is gorgeous, and the food is outstanding. We did have a hard time getting a hold of the coordinator every once in awhile... it took her awhile to get back, but she did a great job. They switched coordinators mid-way through our engagement so bits of our communications were lost during that time and caused minor stress when we discovered that a couple things we originally were told were included were not... However this was handled and our day was great!
