We cannot recommend Shannon with In Good Spirits Events highly enough! From start to finish, she exceeded every expectation we had for a wedding planner. As we were new to the Wilmington area, we relied heavily on her vendor recommendations, and every single one was exceptional.
On our wedding day, Shannon ensured everything ran seamlessly. When rain threatened to move our entire event indoors, she handled the situation with total professionalism and calm — and somehow worked absolute magic to keep everything beautiful and on track.
Because of her, I was able to be fully present and truly enjoy every moment of our day. My bridesmaids even commented on how relaxed I was while getting ready, and that’s entirely because I knew Shannon had everything under control.
If you are looking for a wedding planner who is organized, responsive, and genuinely cares about making your day perfect, Shannon is the best decision you will make. Our wedding would not have been the same without her! -

Booking In Good Spirits Events for our 400 person event was by far the best decision I have ever made. Shannon and her team are incredibly professional and knowledgeable, which made the event go so smoothly. I have never been at an event that I didn't wait forever in line for a drink, and I can honestly say there were NO lines! Shannon and I spoke multiple times in the planning process and she never left any questions unanswered. I felt so confident in the event because she took away all of my worries. Book In Good Spirits Events, you absolutely won't regret it! -

So my wedding was pretty much all good to go everything was sorted out and then 2 days or so before our wedding the lady at the venue told me I had to hire a professional planner for my wedding or the wedding is off . So I called around panicking because everyone was to busy or wanted an outrageous price for a job that was pretty much already taken care of ( meaning I made a timeline minute by minute with songs , names, and events that were going to take place and when they would take place from start to finish and just have the dj help with announcements) but then I found Shannon she jumped on bored and within minutes got to work with a huge discount even tho it was the absolute last minute . She stayed in touch with me basically almost every other hr going over everything up until the ceremony. During our wedding she worked her butt off and all around was a huge help and took care of me and my wife as if we were family and known one another for a lifetime ! Words can’t describe how impressed and happy I was with her on board ! -

Shannon was wonderful to work with as our month-of-coordinator! She created our timeline and made adjustments to it as needed. She was in touch with all of our vendors and updated them on decisions, so we didn’t have to. In Good Spirits is FANTASTIC!!
In Good Spirits was fantastic! I absolutely loved everything about having Shannon and Steve at our backyard wedding. They came highly recommended by our wedding planner (Sarah Ann Weddings) and did not disappoint. From the delicious mocktails to the fancy cocktails, we celebrated with a customized menu in style. They were personable and so down to earth, we even climbed up in the camper for a photoshoot to make a couple of drinks. We would hire them again in a heartbeat and highly recommend! I was referred to In Good Spirits Events and they did not disappoint! We hired them for the spirits part of our wedding and throughout the planning process they were top-notch. We met several times to review bar options, signature drinks, and bar details for our big day. Shannon was always willing to help answer any questions or provide guidance about what might work best.
We chose Clyde, The Camper Bar and it was a HIT!! Our signature drinks were really fun, and our guests RAVED about their handmade Margaritas and Old Fashions. Small touches that made a big difference! For example, they marinate their Old Fashion cherries for two months to provide just the right tasting experience. The extra love, care, and thought that was put into each drink made for a unique experience and is exactly what we were looking for.
Stephan and Mike were kind, fun, and really interacting with our guests. Guests felt like they were part of the party! They both added a little extra something special to our night and made everyone feel at home.

In Good Spirits & Shannon was an amazing bartender for our friend’s Gatsby 40th birthday celebration! She was fun, arrived on time, very flexible, on top of all the supplies, and engaging with everyone. It was so nice to not have to worry about mixing cocktails, keeping things clean, getting extra supplies, and clean up at the end of the night. We’d use her & her company again and highly recommend them! -

In Good Spirits did an AWESOME job at my daughters wedding. We were totally clueless about everything and shooting in the dark as to where to start. Miss Shannon gave us suggestions, told us what beverages went with others, and offered options so that we could choose what was best for us. She gave us guidelines that helped stay in our budget while maintaining optimal selection. We also leased their camper photo booth, which is just too cute!
We couldn't have asked for more! Jess got her dream wedding! -

In Good Spirits did an incredible job coordinating our wedding! We had 100 guests and 2 different venues, and Shannon pulled the whole thing off perfectly! Her planning is thorough and detailed from start to finish. She has an answer to every question - even the ones we didn't know we had. In addition to coordinating the wedding, Shannon and Stephen also made the cocktails for our reception, which were a hit! We would highly recommend In Good Spirits for any upcoming event. They truly knocked it out of the park. -

The In Good Spirits team and mobile bar, Clyde, was a highlight of our wedding day and a HUGE hit! Our guests loved Clyde, the cocktails and chatting with the fun, professional and talented bartenders.
Shannon and Stephan guided us through the entire process, from figuring out our drink menu from scratch, advising on the quantities needed, to how to order the alcohol from their preferred vendor. They were extremely responsive to communication from the time we booked 10 months prior to our wedding, right up until the week of. Their attention to detail to ensure everything was correct was very impressive. They worked so hard to provide a unique, fun and memorable experience for us and our guests. SO many people raved about Clyde and the excellent service they received. We feel like we got in on the ground floor of something really special, we have seen this husband and wife business growing in leaps and bounds this year on social media, so DON'T wait to book—you won't regret it!
Having the flexibility to change the location we planned for Clyde and pull "him" right up to the tent's edge due to the rain was so clutch, and the built in roof on the bar helped even more to make it ultra convenient and comfortable for guests. The weather certainly didn't stop anyone from going back again (and again...and again) to imbibe :)
My only regret is I didn't get the full experience, guests kept offering to get drinks for me when I tried to walk up to Clyde, but I wanted to hang at the bar! Future brides and grooms, be sure you get to go up to the window and take it all in if you have a spare minute! -

Michelle Sent on 05/10/2018This was not a wedding, but a huge fundraiser for Athens Area Humane Society (held at The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which host many weddings). Shannon and Stephan are true pros! They have now worked two events for me, and the bar was one less thing I had to worry about. They arrived super early and were set up before the rest of the vendors. Their portable bar is beautiful and would fit in with any decor. At one of our events they made specialty cocktails, with fresh squeezed juices, and easily handled over 200 people. Since we were buying the supplies and alcohol, Shannon provided a shopping list and even broke it down into ounce per drink. I am looking forward to seeing their vintage trailer bar completed! PLEASE NOTE...while I put $700 in the budget, Shannon and Stephan, who are both animal lovers, donated their time to our cause. You won't work with better folks!

Friendly, Fun... Fantastic
We worked with Shannon to schedule everything and get all the logistics squared away for our parents' 50th wedding anniversary, and Stephan bartended on the day of our event. We had a very difficult time finalizing our drink list, but Shannon helped us every step of the way. And Stephan perfectly assimilated into the vibe of our event and served our guests perfectly! Thank you for helping us make our event exactly what we envisioned! -
