  Eddie and his team made our dreams come true!

  We got engaged in April 2020 - during COVID when everything was so uncertain. We had very specific tastes and after being together for 10 years - we knew that we wanted a wedding that really reflected who we are individually and as a couple. Eddie worked with us to achieve our industrial bohemian vision and remain within our budget.
  
  From landing us the PERFECT venue - Capital Turnaround; to a wonderful graphic designer, Max, who created a truly unique and cool invitation suite; to linking us with Spilled Milk, a catering company that merged our Cajun and Vietnamese cultures in a truly inventive way; to his quest to find us the perfect day-of coordinator in Trish — signing on with him is what made our wedding a fairytale. He helped to negotiate every contract. He made sure that our concerns were communicated and advocated on our behalf. His reputation in the industry was apparent in the respect that each of our vendors clearly had for him.
  
  He always had our backs and was honest with us. We went through a number of potential day-of-coordinators - not because of availability, but because as soon as Eddie saw that they wouldn’t be a good fit, he would immediately look for someone else. This could have been panic-inducing, but I wasn’t scared. He was always transparent with us and I trusted him. I knew if he thought a change needed to be made, it was for good reason. And Trish, who ultimately became our coordinator was perfect. She understood me immediately, came in with suggestions of ideas I didn’t even know I wanted! Her idea to mix lounge seating from the venue in as the ceremony seating truly made our wedding spectacular. I felt like I was getting married in an intimate ceremony in a living room. Seeing all of the little children piled on a giant ottoman over my husband’s shoulder is one of my best memories of that day.
  
  He helped us navigate through the overwhelming options; provided a planning tool that made everything from design, to tracking payments, to guest seating a breeze; helped to schedule all of our meetings with vendors (you would be surprised just how helpful this is - cutting down on preliminary email communications with vendors really reduces stress) and made sure that we were protected in every contract. This was particularly important when planning during the peak of COVID. We needed to be sure that if our wedding needed to be cancelled or postponed, that we wouldn’t lose out on money. He went over every proposal and contract to make sure that we were covered in case of disaster.
  
  He made us feel like we were his most important, if not his only client. After working with him for nearly 3 years - he truly feels like family. He got to know us as a couple and that definitely showed on our wedding day.

  Ultimate Venue Space

  I attended an event here and all I can say is WOW! This venue has it all, from the industrial concept which is a planner's dream to the open spaces and huge auditorium, Capital Turnaround is sure the place to host your event in D.C. The event I attended hosted by IMPACT Collective showed the great potential the venue has to offer and truly made me excited for the future of events here in DC.

  Impact is the only way to go (get kadzo!)

  Kadzo West was our wedding planner, and she did a phenomenal job. She made it seem so easy and flawless. The moment I hit a brick wall, she came to the rescue with a quick solution. My wedding was four days ago, and I'm still receiving messages about our flawless and genuine wedding. This wouldn't have been the case without her. I'm so thankful I had such an amazing wedding planner to guide me through this stressful process. If I had to do it all over again, I would pick Kadzo every time. We are eternally grateful to IMPACT for providing us with such an amazing planner like Kadzo.

  Epitome of Professionalism

  Eddie and the whole team at IMPACT were excellent from our first consultation all the way through the big day. They coordinated a 2-couple wedding with outstanding professionalism and attention to detail. They showed awesome cultural competence as this was an ethnic wedding for which they did not have previous experience in. However they took our directions in stride and delivered well in the end. They were hands-on throughout the day on the wedding day, constantly corresponding with the venue staff and other vendors to ensure seamless execution of the program flow. We whole-heartedly recommend their services to anyone looking to make their wedding day the most special it can be!

  Real Wedding Magic

  As an officiant, I had the good fortune to collaborate with IMPACT Collective. Eddie and Anna were thorough, organized, and most importantly - focused on the vision. Weddings have many moving parts, and they responded to every detail calmly, confidently, and successfully. The ceremony was beautiful, and I enjoyed officiating because I, as well our shared client, were in good hands. IMPACT Collective is clearly a seasoned wedding vendor, and they curated a wonderful wedding experience. I hope to work with them again in the future, and I highly recommend them for your event planning needs.

  Great wedding planners

  Kadzo, Eddie and the team at Impact Collective were a pleasure to work with. From the moment we began working with them, they were there to help us book vendors and answer any questions that arose. On the day of the wedding, Kadzo did an outstanding job. She was very busy behind the scenes, coordinating with the various vendors and making sure everything went perfectly. We are very glad we decided to choose Impact Collective for our big day.

  We had less than 7 months when we began planning and they helped us organize every detail while gently nudging us through our to-do list. Wedding planning is very hard on its own, ad with less than a year of planning I don’t think we could have done it with them. Super happy with their help, they put us first in every step of the way.

  We booked IMPACT Collective for the month of coordination package and it was honestly one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning. Eddie and his team were amazing and truly helped make our wedding a much better experience. Eddie, who is the CEO of the company, ended up being our planner, and throughout the entire time, he was supportive and helped put us at ease during stressful moments. Even though we got the month-of package, we were able to do monthly check-ins right away with Eddie, which was so helpful. In addition to keeping us organized and providing advice on various aspects of the wedding, Eddie also offered recommendations on vendors and suppliers, which was helpful as well. One final note: Eddie is just a cool guy -- someone that you just want to hang out with, which we loved. His personality definitely made the experience much more fun!

  Amazing Team

  Eddie and his team did a fantastic job for my Wife and I on our wedding day and leading up to it. They were amazing keeping the day moving smoothly and keeping us on schedule so everything we wanted to include happened. Leading up to it they helped ease my Wife nerves and make sure she felt prepared and supported. They were prepared and professional and really worked will with the other vendors.

  Eddie and his team did a fantastic job for my Wife and I on our wedding day and leading up to it. They were amazing keeping the day moving smoothly and keeping us on schedule so everything we wanted to include happened.   Highly recommend Trish!

  Trish was a superstar from start to finish. From organization and vendor management to general support handling the stress of wedding planning, there was nothing she did not excel at. Her knowledge of the DMV-area wedding vendors runs deep, and she was incredibly versatile dealing with new vendors as well. Her skill as a wedding planner was especially remarkable given that our wedding had particular quirks such as incorporating Korean elements (such as food and drinks) into a largely American audience - which was executed perfectly. If there is any other event planning that must happen, I would be thrilled to hire her again!

  Trish was a superstar from start to finish. From organization and vendor management to general support handling the stress of wedding planning, there was nothing she did not excel at.   We are so incredibly thankful for the support we had from Anna, Linda, Eddie, and the entire IMPACT Collective team. They made things very easy leading up to the wedding and everything ran seamlessly the day of. We loved Anna's personality and she made the getting ready experience so amazing. She checked on me and the bridal party every hour and was also checking in on the vendors. She also added special decor touches that made our welcome sign and cake look amazing! Loved having Anna there! Eddie then helped execute our reception and I couldn't imagine things going any better. My bridesmaids also complimented me that this was the most organized wedding and that is thanks to the whole team. Would definitely recommend IMPACT and plan on using them for future events :)

  We can't thank IMPACT, and our personal coordinator Morgan, enough for their incredible work on our wedding! Not only were they helpful with any and all questions that we had, but on the actual day of the wedding Morgan took care of every single detail that we needed her to and she did it seamlessly.

  Great experience working with IMPACT

  Eddie Fam and IMPACT were great. They helped us throughout the planning process, from picking out the location and venue through the day of the wedding. Easy to work with and very responsive throughout the process. Our wedding was amazing and it was in no small part due to their help!

  Month-of Wedding Coordinator - Highly Recommend IMPACT!

  I highly recommend working with Impact Collective! In particular, Kadzo provided amazing support as our month-of coordinator. She is so thoughtful and efficient. We also appreciated how culturally sensitive and responsive she was -- we had guests coming to our wedding in the DC area from across the US, UK, and India, and she managed everyone with grace, patience, and understanding. If things went wrong day of, I have no idea about them because Kadzo took care of them and never let on.   The piece that pulled everything together and relieved all the stress!

  Eddie Fam and his team were the absolute BEST!!! We brought them on our team less than 2 months before our wedding date and they stepped right up and helped every step of the way. They made sure everything was organized, we were in the right headspace going into the event, and thought of all the small things that inevitably come up in the final weeks before the wedding. Eddie was a calming presence during the weeks leading up to the wedding and especially throughout all the wedding events. He made sure everything fell into place perfectly without stressing us out one bit. I received many compliments from family members on how helpful Eddie and his team were.

  Amazing job done by amazing people

  My husband and I opted for the month of wedding planner package and it did not disappoint. We got married NYE 2023 so planning the party of this size was no simple task. Kadzo West and her assistant from Impact Collective did an amazing job keeping my mind at ease the month prior throughout the wedding day itself. She was always calm, cool, collected, and level headed without being too pushy or directive . My husband and I could not have done it without impact (especially Kadzo)!

  Dream Wedding!

  From the start, Rebecca and I knew we wanted to have a unique wedding. Our goal was to avoid the typical catering hall feel, while also incorporate aspects of our diverse backgrounds. We were very skeptical that we would be able to find a planner who would understand this from the start until we met Eddie and IMPACT Collective. From the very first zoom call, he made us feel comfortable that our dream wedding could be had. If we imagined it, he made it happen. He was able to work with us as we need to make several changes throughout the way. We also worked with Star who helped plan our dream day as well. The communication throughout the entire year plus process of planning was above all other. Star and Eddie kept us in the loop the entire way. They made planning the event a lot less stressful then it could have. We spoke daily via email, and had monthly zoom calls along the way to make sure we were on course.
  
  When it came to wedding weekend itself, Eddie was there every step of the way to make sure everyone was where they needed to be, we were never behind on time, and he had every single detail fine tuned so there were literally 0 nerves on wedding day. He coordinated our rehearsal so well - no one missed a step on the day of.
  
  We cannot thank Eddie, Star and the team at Impact Collective enough for helping us plan our dream wedding in the Dominican Republic. We have received nothing but overwhelming positive feedback, with a lot of our guest saying that this was the best wedding they have been too!
