Josephine has been a fantastic planner, due to change in circumstances and covid, we had to postpone our wedding several times, on each occasion Josephine was extremely accommodating and helped to move/adjust our plans. When we arrived in New York, she met with us at our hotel to go through everything and to make sure we were happy and on the day she was with us every step of the way to make sure everything went as planned. Even the weather which was extremely temperamental she helped us work with, including photography timings and extension of the Trolley bus to make sure us and our guests stayed dry. She also kept everyone in check on the day and was just so lovely, even fixing my hair, giving me her pocket mirror and sending us a news paper printout of our wedding day as we struggled to get one for ourselves. She really went above and beyond for us and the vendors she used were outstanding. Our flowers were perfect, hair and makeup on point, phographer Jimmy and bus driver (so sweet), dinner cruise was amazing, perfect views of skyline and lady liberty and food and drink was great. We also had a stop off in brooklyn for some photos and pizza from Julianas which was great, even if we did nearly get blown away. Thanks again for everything Josephine, it was the best day xx -

From the moment we met Josephine we felt looked after and welcome. She took us through every step of the big day when we met her the day before; she reassured us, talked us through the documentation, had prepared a checklist and itinerary for us, and made sure every single detail was perfect.
On the day she was with us for the whole ceremony and for the photography tour afterwards. She was friendly and warm towards our families, and she was very 'no-nonsense' when it came to the public. It was very clear that she was there for us in every way! As we were driven around the city by Peter, and with our photographer Larissa, Jo remained happy and made us feel truly at ease; at times it felt like we were on a sightseeing road trip with three friends! What a fantastic experience, we really can't thank Jo enough for all her hard work on the day, her dedication in setting everything up beforehand, and for her continued contact and support in the time since. -

As we are nearing the year anniversary of our engagement & our 3 month wedding anniversary, we couldn’t be more thankful to Josephine for all her help in making both of these momentous occasions truly unforgettable. Our relationship has spanned 14 years, from high school to college, and now, adults. We’ve resided in New York for all of our lives so it only felt natural to plan both our engagement and wedding here. Josephine could not have made it any more special! She helped coordinate the photographer and location for the surprise engagement – safely in the middle of the pandemic. Picturesque views of the Brooklyn Bridge made for the back drop to the proposal, which we will never forget. We remained in connection with Josephine as we immersed ourselves in wedding planning. She is incredibly kind and made finding/coordinating our photographer a breeze. We highly recommend her services to anyone looking to plan a beautiful engagement and wedding in NY! -

Josephine felt more like a family member at our wedding so we invited her to stay for the reception! Very professional and diligent. She ensured that all preparations were made and that we left NYC with our extended and apostilled wedding certificate for our trip back home to the Cayman Islands! She met us before the wedding at City Hall to get our licence and knew all of the procedures to ensure we could legally wed given that we do not live in the USA. We would recommend Josephine to look after your wedding and ensure that it goes smoothly and without a hitch! Karen -

Beautiful ceremony in the Secret Garden, Central Park, NY
Booking a wedding almost 3,500 miles away can be daunting for any bride or groom. Even more so, when your placing your trust in a wedding planner and a few beautiful photos - which you pray are the real deal.
Josephine can only be described as a Fairy Godmother. Sadly, none of my family could fly out for the wedding. Josephine was my stand in mum, keeping my nerves steady, making sure my dress was looking perfect at all times. That personal touch made all the difference for me.
From the first initial contact, Josephine was avaible 24/7 for any queries, with the time difference, you could at least guarantee an email waiting for you the next day.
We were sadly let down by one venue for our meal. Josephine was quick to gather menus an locations nearby and we settled on Tavern on the Green - who went above and beyond, the staff were wonderful!
The ease of having a wedding planner meant we had no worries. We were told what paperwork needing filling and and where to be at what times.
The only worry I had was ensuring my dress travelled safely with me from the UK to NY.
A special mention to the photographer Jimmy Choo, who worked alongside Josephine on the day. I'm not photogenic to say the least but he was so creative (even in the 33 degree heat) and the photos are just stunning.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend I Do Weddings (Jimmy Choo or the Tavern on the Green) Great service and fantatsic value for money. I honestly felt like I was planning my wedding with my best friend... -

Whilst communicating with Josephine from England in UK she helped me plan the perfect day.
Had Jimmy for my photos also and a lovely helper on the day also, her assistant.
Josephine met with us the day before we got married in Central Park to go through it all, made us feel relaxed and we knew we were in good hands.
She really is like the fairy godmother, made me feel like Cinderella in my perfect day.
Excellent communication and her experience is clearly the best.
Lovely lady, fairly priced and we are very great full that we had Josephine by our side on our special day.
Knowing the short cuts around New York to beat the traffic, organising a fantastic hair and makeup artist and getting my flowers in special detail at last minute as I wanted an extra type of flower, well fern plant. Josephine helped me secure June 21st, as this was the date I had met Jamie so it meant a lot to me. Also being a friend, 100% loyal, honest and trusting. Thank you Josephine, we highly recommend you for anyone’s special day .xx

Worry free ! :)
We got married in New York 2.5 years ago.
Josephine and her team met with us a few days before the wedding to run through. I had also been in touch with Josephine via email before traveling out to NYC and everything was made super easy and straight forward.
On the day, everything went off without any problems. I’ve never felt so relaxed knowing all the legal stuff was dealt with before we arrived. Can not recommend them enough!! -

Josephine even got us booked into the most amazing restaurant when we decided after the wedding on Boxing Day we fancied a lunch. The view over Central Park eating our lunch looking out over central park where we just got married!! The icing on the cake! Would defo recommend I do weddings. Jimmy did amazing photos also. Wonderful service, wonderful josephine
Josephine was amazing from start to finish in organising our Central Park New York City wedding. As we came over from the UK it was a bit different but it couldn’t have been easier. Amazing and Professional experience
Josephine took all the hassle out of our arrangements. She took om board what we wanted and customised the wedding to suit us both. Her pre wedding meeting was very good and explained what we had to do at City Hall to get the licence and when it was best to go there.
Josephine is a lovely person which made our wedding an all the better experience. The photographer, Jimmy, was also brilliant and easy to talk to. -

My husband and I travelled from London, England for our Wedding in Central Park the day after Christmas 2014. From the first contact I had with Josephine at ‘I Do Weddings’ we were provided with the best service we could have asked for. Josephine had everything covered from venue arrangements to make up. Nothing was too much for her and after lots of emails pinging back and forth, Josephine enabled us to have the perfect wedding which was everything we had hoped for. We can’t thank Josephine enough for everything that she did for us. Even after the wedding, she has kept in touch and sends us messages on anniversaries. In her communication with us at all times and when we met she was so lovely and warm in her nature. The day itself (29-12-26) ran seamlessly despite the heavy rain (but she obviously couldn’t do anything about that). We got married on Bow Bridge in Central Park. We would absolutely recommend Josephine 100%.
Nearly three years happily married and planning on returning to NYC for our 5th anniversary in two years time.

Josephine at I do weddings was a saint, she was quick at responding and putting my mind at rest. Getting married abroad was a bit nerve wracking but it was amazing that she took care of everything we asked for and let us plan our holiday / honeymoon as we had never been to New York before. Perfect Day
We arranged our New York Wedding from England in just 12 weeks and knew exactly what we wanted. After emailing several companies we found Josephine at I do weddings nyc on Facebook and from the first contact I knew this was the person to assist with organising our day. Josephine was very responsive from the outset and took full control in arranging our perfect wedding at Wagner Cove in Central Park. We met Josephine on arrival in NYC and she had completed a beautiful itinerary of the day Josephine also provided very detailed instructions on obtaining our marriage licence. On the day she was on hand and it was a beautiful, totally stress free experience. Arranging a wedding abroad could have been quite stressful but in Josephine’s hands all we had to do was buy our dresses and get on the plane to NYC - oh and drink lots of champagne. To anyone needing a wedding planner I would highly recommend this service. -
