    Fantastic Coordinator!

    We hired Marlene early on in our planning process for our April wedding as a day of coordinator. She went above and beyond from day one by meeting with us over Zoom to discuss our vision and then started communicating with vendors weeks before our wedding to ensure a smooth experience the day of. We had some last minute changes to our floor plan and schedule due to rain in the forecast, and Marlene helped us through all of those last minute changes. On the day of Marlene ensured that we were well taken care of, and she helped us figure out a new plan when heavy winds started to blow our decorations off of tables. Everyone had a great time and Marlene played a big part in our successful event. If you’re looking for a coordinator, I would absolutely recommend Marlene!

    Could not have done it without You

    Marlene’s excellent coordination of my wedding exceeded all my expectations. Marlene is a pleasure to work with. Her positive energy, professionalism, and expertise was noticed and acknowledged by my family and friends. We appreciate all she did and we are so thankful. Marlene helped make our wedding day perfect. I was absolutely stress free knowing she had everything under control. We used Marlene for same day coordination and it was everything we needed.     Wedding - October 23rd, 2021

    Marlene was an absolute life saver! We hired Marlene before the pandemic and we unfortunately had to postpone our wedding. Fortunately, Marlene stuck with us for two years and we always loved how Marlene checked in to see how we were doing. She was amazing in helping us find the best vendors for our wedding and she knew what exactly what to do when in came to the preparations for the wedding. She confirmed vendor contracts and finalized the day of wedding timeline, as well as ensured payments and guest counts were in order.

    She knew how to direct everyone on the day of the wedding and she managed to take care of things from staring and ending time to establish everyone was on schedule.

    She made sure everything I envisioned for the wedding was taken care of and was in good shape. Marlene is definitely a pro at her job and it was a pleasure working with her.

    Marlene is the coordinator you want to hire!!

    Amazing, friendly, responsive and experienced!

    Hiring Marlene as our wedding coordinator was one of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding in November of 2021. She was super responsive, very affordable, flexible with changes (we had to postpone the wedding from June to November due to COVID), helpful through email with giving me ideas on what I could do, and a rockstar on the actual wedding day. I was also living in NorCal planning a wedding in Pasadena so she was also very accommodating in doing mostly phone calls and also meeting us on our available dates when we would be in the area. She did a great job contacting all our vendors, managing them once they arrived on the day of the wedding, and set out decorations exactly as I had envisioned! We luckily had no real big issues on the day of the wedding and even the little details (like our DJ messing up on the song order for our bridal party reception entrance) she hopped on it quick and communicated our needs. You will definitely not regret hiring Marlene!

    Unsung Hero

    Marlene was so amazing and fantastic to work with. We went the “day of” package and were so surprised and grateful for her involvement leading up to “day of” to make that day so smooth and easy. You have enough other stuff going on that day of your wedding, it was so amazing to have Marlene show up and know that everything would be handled that we asked of her…and then some. She was so above and beyond helpful and made it possible for us to actually relax and enjoy our special day. Would HIGHLY recommend Marlene to anyone looking for a great coordinator for your wedding or special event.

    We had an amazing experience with Marlene! From the moment we hired her, she got the ball rolling and helped keep things on track before and after the wedding. She was on top of all the little details we didn’t even think about, and was so sweet and responsive throughout the whole process. Both mine and my husband’s families had only great things to say about her as well! Highly recommend Marlene for your event!

    Amazing made my day a breeze

    I was very stressed before my wedding dealing with a sick member in my family and Marlene was very good at pointing out little things that I was forgetting. She was amazing the day of punctual and helped in every way possible. She did so many things from set up clearing out. She truly helped me enjoy my wedding day. Thank you so much

    Marlene was above and beyond as a wedding co-ordinator, super reliable, resourceful, tons of help in the lead up to the wedding even though we'd only hired her for day-of, super flexible in co-ordinating pre-wedding meetings and walkthroughs, and awesome on the day itself. She always made sure we had everything covered, had a lot of handy advice for us, and had the wedding day running smoothly so we could sit back and enjoy ourselves, and not worry about behind the scenes! We highly recommend her!!

    Marlene was AMAZING! I wanted to have a care free, relaxed, fun day on my wedding day and Marlene made sure that this was the case. She is so knowledgeable in the wedding field that she pretty much knew what I needed before I needed it, making sure she had all the information she needed from me before hand to do her best and not ask me any questions the day of. I am so happy that we decided to hire her, my wedding day was perfect and I feel like I owe it all to her. She told me during our consultation that the day of my wedding I should only worry about looking good, being happy and having fun and she made sure this was the case!     Marlene is amazing!!! I spoke to a few coordinators but didn't really vibe with them, as soon as i spoke with Marlene I knew right away that she was the right person. She immediately gave me peace of mind. From the first phone call to the wedding day she made me confident that my wedding would be as i imagined and I would have nothing to worry about. She made sure everything went smoothly even when there were challenges the day of. The ceremony site was beautiful and the reception was incredible, way better than i imagined it. I can't thank Marlene enough.

    I couldn't have been happier with Marlene. She was responsive, followed up with me and was very knowledgeable. But above all, what stands out the most was that she was PATIENT! I am a bit of a control freak and my mother, mother-in-law and sister-in-law were all vying to take over the coordination on that day. So my biggest ask to Marlene was to make sure that they didn't change anything last minute and that my vision for the day was followed. She did just that but was super sweet and polite throughout and didn't ruffle any feathers. She also did a great job of calming me down and keeping me focused on my task for the day...getting ready.

    Also, I cannot thank her enough for having my back and making sure I felt supported when my photographer tried to change some things last minute the day before the wedding. She communicated the request from the photographer to me but made sure I knew that I didn't have to give in, and that I should do what I thought was best. I think without her support I would have felt pressured to give in to photographer and I would not have been happy.

    I highly recommend her. If you are contemplating hiring her, I suggest you get on the phone with her and you will see that she is so easy to speak to and a pleasure to work with.

    Marlene is the best decision we could have ever made! So beyond pleased with her work. She definitely went above and beyond to make my day as smooth and worry free as possible. She even ordered us another plate of food since the waiters had took our untouched food. Thank goodness for her because we won't have ate if it wasn't for her demanding we get another plate of food. Thank you Marlene for being such a great listener and making our day stress free. I definitely recommend her professionalism to anyone that is in need of any assistance with planning their wedding. She is 100% efficient! Thank you again Marlene !!!

    I made the right choice in picking Marlene of I do Wedding and Events for day of services.
    She took care of contacting all my vendors, may sure everything arrived and help set up.
    She is very professional and has good communication. I would definitely would recommend her use her for future events.

    My wife and I spent 10 months planning for our wedding. We were able to handle most of the major details on our own but knew that once the wedding day arrived we wanted to enjoy the experience and avoid dealing with any last minute questions. At the suggestion of friends and family my wife began searching for a company that could provide "day of" coordinating services; that is how she found Marlene from "I Do Wedding and Events".

    From the start Marlene was very professional, organized, and friendly. In the initial meeting she took her time explaining the services she offered to my wife and how her package could be customized based on our needs. Given our situation Marlene's flexibility was a major plus.

    As the wedding day approached Marlene, myself, and my wife met to discuss the expectations for the wedding day, our status with vendors, and what she would be handling over the last two weeks. Again, Marlene was very patient and was full of great ideas and suggestions - clear evidence that she had experience running these types of events and could problem-solve potential dilemmas before they even arose.

    At our wedding rehearsal Marlene demonstrated her professionalism as she lead the entire wedding party through a detailed practice of what to expect on the wedding day. When the wedding day arrived we all felt calm and prepared because of the pointers Marlene gave us. As the unexpected situations popped up - as they always do on a wedding day - Marlene calmly dealt with them and there wasn't a hitch to the event. (ie. the party rentals company forgot to deliver cake plates. Marlene ran out and purchased quality substitute plates way before the cake cutting and no one noticed a thing)

    In the end so many of our guests commented on how smoothly the day ran and how much they enjoyed our wedding ceremony/reception. My wife and I credit Marlene at I Do Wedding and Events for this and helping us realize our wedding day vision.

    Marlene provided the most valuable service of the day! She took care of all the details which freed me and my mom to simply enjoy the day. Marlene came to the rehearsal and kept us all organized and answered any questions we still had. On the day of, she set up all the personal items, favors/place cards, sand ceremony vases, guest book and programs, and I'm sure many other things I can't think of now. She was also totally responsible for getting the wedding started on time which allowed us to finish just before the rain began. I give her complete credit for perfect timing. She made sure I ate and worked with the DJ to keep the reception running on time. At the end she cleaned up everything and took it to the car. All these things have to be done by someone and I'm so glad she was there so my husband and I didn't have to worry about a thing. I highly recommend Marlene and I think you will be thrilled with her wedding planning services. Congrats and best wishes!

    Marlene was so awesome to work with, I could not have asked for a better day-of-coordinator! Her personality is so sweet and upbeat that she was easy to connect with, and she really was on top of it all -- helping me with so many things I didn't even think to create (e.g., a wedding day/night timeline).

    I honestly feel like she went above and beyond her duties for me, particularly the last week prior to my wedding when I began experiencing issues with the rental company I got my Chiavari chairs from and the management from my reception hall. She put my mind at ease and took care of everything so that on my wedding day, I was relaxed. My wedding was absolutely the most perfect day of my life, and I can thank Marlene for helping make that happen for me and husband.
    She's even trying to help me get a partial refund back from a vendor who didn't give me exactly what I wanted, 2 months after my wedding!

    I was so happy to meet Marlene. I had been looking for a "Day of Coordinator," and I couldn't find anyone I felt confident in, until I met Marlene. We met her a couple months before the Wedding and we knew she would be perfect. She has so much confidence in what she is doing, she really put us at ease with everything that had to be done. She also has such a great, calming personality. I needed someone like that on the day of my Wedding. We gave her a list of things that needed to be done that day, and she completed everything on it. She also helped me out, when I got a black stain on my dress, she pulled out a Clorox wipe and rubbed it off. She really exceeded our expectations, and went above and beyond the list of things she was supposed to do. She was there to the end, making sure that everything went perfect for us. I highly recommend Marlene!

    Thankful bride

    My husband and I hired Marlene as our day of coordinator for our October wedding. Leading up to our wedding Marlene was very responsive and helped coordinate everything with all our vendors. The day of the wedding Marlene was on time, helped set up both our ceremony and reception sites, and also made sure everything stayed on schedule. We are so thankful for all her help. Our wedding day went seamlessly and everything was setup beautifully!
