I hired Jennifer to handle things for the rehearsal dinner so that I could enjoy the evening. She was very helpful. She assisted me by making sure the workers for the rental company set up the chairs and tables as we had previously discussed. Jennifer with I Do Events is amazing. She helps you through the entire process of planning your wedding. She helps you negotiate fair prices for services, find reputable vendors, and organizes the wedding planning process for you. I recommend that anyone planning a wedding to book Jennifer as their wedding planner because she makes the process so much easier. There are so many little things involved with planning a wedding that my husband and I would have forgotten if it wasn't for Jennifer. Although she is based in Orlando she planned our wedding for Tampa and never skipped a beat. She responds quickly to any questions or concerns you may have. She's experienced so she already has working relationships with a lot of vendors, which helps with negotiations and deciding what vendor you want to go with. We can't thank her enough for making our wedding day seamless and enjoyable. -

Jennifer and team were absolutely amazing - my only regret is that I wish I had paid for more than a day of (month of) coordination package! She responded quickly to any text
or email which is huge for me. I can’t promise this for everyone but she somehow had ESP and managed to check in with me right in the middle of my stress meltdowns. She reached out to vendors and checked in even before the month of the wedding.
We had a major issue with the virtual broadcast of our ceremony (my fault for choosing the company I chose) and the girls handled everything including helping my guests who weren’t even at the venue. Other than that, our day was COMPLETELY PERFECT all because of this team. The services they provided were truly invaluable! -

My fiancé at the time and I got engaged a year ago and then I found out I was expecting. With that being said we had to push up the wedding and plan within a 3 month time frame. These girls took their time to get to know us, answered all of our questions and delivered on the day of our wedding. The owner is so sweet and caring! She even did things she didn’t need to do. Seriously! These girls saved my life!!!! I went for the all inclusive option and I don’t regret a thing! From start to finish they helped me all the way. They did things I didn’t even know I needed. My day was beyond perfect thanks to them. The owner, Jennifer, is such a sweetheart and actually cares about your needs. Most wedding planners I called were all about money and extra fees, but not here. I can never thank them enough. If you want a perfect day, I highly suggest you come to these girls. Funny story here! I met Jennifer at the Hilton spa in Orlando, FL and we were talking about weddings and I was telling her how I have been with my significant other for 8 years and how I didn’t think we were going to get married. She told me “you’re gorgeous, he will ask soon and when he does I will be planning your wedding”. 4 months later on New Years, he got on one knee! I immediately thought of her and ran to call her. Within minutes she was already setting up our time to meet and plan everything. She is amazing! Jennifer is true perfectionist and knows what she’s doing. My husband and I had a intimate destination wedding in Puerto Rico. I thought that being that it was a destination wedding, I would have a good wedding planner, but that was not the case for me. I reached out to I Do Events about 3 months before my wedding and I when I tell you that Jennifer and her assistant was able to turn everything around is no joke! She even made sure that my marriage documents were sent (I did not even know how to do that). Love these girls! -

Beyond words!
I am not a big fan reviewer, but I had to this time. My wedding planner, Jennifer, went above and beyond for me. I mean she helped me with my put my wedding dress on for god sakes! Not only was the turnout amazing, but on the day of the wedding she gifted my bridesmaids and I personalized gifts plus emergency kits as well. She is so sweet! -

Honestly, I do not trust many people with big things such as my wedding, but I knew I couldn’t work, come home to two kids and plan my wedding. Which is why I reached out to this company and I do not regret it at all. My planner was Jennifer and her assistance Carolina and the minute I spoke to them I felt as if we had known each other for years. They were so open and welcoming and stuck with me through it all! I went to at least to 10 venues and they came to each and every one of them. When it was all said and done, our wedding was magical just how I pictured it. I couldn’t have done it without these ladies! Very recommended! -

I do not even know where to start! My husband proposed to me on January 18, 2019 and I wanted to get married on March 18, 2019 because that day is special to us. I knew it was very short notice and I was really scared that things were not going to turn out how I wanted it to be. However, when I reached out to I Do Events, I immediately felt a sense of relief! They started working with me right away, as I did not have a lot of time and we went to see venues all over the Miami area! When I tell you that Jennifer was able to pull this wedding off in such a short amount of time and notice; it was beyond amazing. She is so sweet, caring, and pays attention to every little detail! I almost wish I can get married again and do it all over with her! Very happy! -

I really wanted to have a great experience with my wedding planner, but unfortunately, Jennifer Jenkins with I Do Events fell far short of expectations. I was initially drawn in by her positive reviews, but my experience was nothing like what was promised.
Communication was a consistent problem from the start — Jennifer often missed calls, didn’t reply to texts, and blamed poor service rather than addressing the issue. She never attended any venue visits or made any real effort to meet in person until *March 2025* — months after we signed with her in *summer 2024* and only after our venue coordinator suggested it. She never asked about us as a couple, offered no helpful recommendations for photography, videography, or décor, and failed to follow through on promised discounts.
She also gave very little assistance with building the wedding timeline, ignored the ceremony planning completely, and shockingly, posted a photo of me at the ceremony on Instagram — despite not attending. On the day of the reception, she was supposed to assist hair and makeup teams to our suite but didn’t show up. This caused delays, and my aunt and cousin had to step in and guide them instead.
Jennifer also complained about the seat covers I purchased and outright refused to set out our wedding favors (which were boxed cake), without helping find a solution. She left the venue without introducing me to the planner who was taking her place, leaving us completely in the dark on the most important day of our lives.
She rarely communicated with vendors — a key part of a planner’s role — and often told me to “DIY” things like signage and décor instead of helping connect me with professionals.
Jennifer ultimately came across as a very hands-off planner, and I felt abandoned on my wedding day. While I’d like to give the benefit of the doubt in case something personal came up, the lack of communication and professionalism throughout the planning process left a lasting negative impression.
I hope this review helps other couples make an informed decision.
