We chose Humphreys for my daughters wedding ceremony and reception and it was absolutely perfect! As a local San Diegan I can assure this venue has the wow factor your guests will talk about positively. The views surrounding the property, the lush gardens, very nice rooms, excellent food, and attentive staff are the best San Diego has to offer. Darla, the catering & special events manager helped us throughout the past several months in planning. She was very helpful, professional and was key to a successful day. The staff were all amazing especially at the dinner reception as they were attentive, professional, and made sure everything went smoothly. Everyone said it was the most beautiful, fun wedding they'd been to! We also had many out of town guests who stayed overnight and every single one said they will be staying here for now on when they visit San Diego. I highly recommend Humphreys Half Moon Inn!

We recently got married this past June at Humphreys and the experience was unforgettable. We had searched for countless months all over San Diego County for the best wedding venue to meet our budget, timeline, and large numbers of guests. Humphreys checked all those boxes for us and more. Unlike other venues that wanted to up-charge us with their ridiculous "wedding" fees, Humphreys is based off of reasonable rates and guest count.

Darla was wonderful to work with and accommodated all of our requests. We were able to customize for the event that we wanted. Our guests continue to rave about the delicious food, pretty views, and professional staff.

Being on the concert lawn provided the best atmosphere for us to hire a live band. The big stage and open spaces created the perfect party environment for our 200 guests. We appreciated the ability to start our event early to extend the event and maximize time on the dance floor. We would 100% recommend this venue to any engaged couples!

We recently held our wedding at the Humphrey’s Half Moon Inn, and it was the most beautiful reception that we could have imagined. We held our reception at the Harborview Room, we had 55 people and we went with their day package. Darla was the Catering and Special Events Manager that was our contact and assisted us with the wedding planning process. Darla had wonderful customer service and met with us several times before the wedding to bring the wedding planner and my dear friend, who was also helping us with décor. To start there are so many beautiful green foliage, there’s the beautiful Marina with the Yachts, and you are also at Shelter Island so you have beautiful shots you can take across the street from the venue with the San Diego Skyline. There was a lot of free parking choices. The linens, napkins and chairs were beautiful. Looking out of the windows into the marina and yachts was breathtaking. You also are able to step out onto the deck. The food was delicious, the hors d’oeuvres, the appetizers, we had the Cesar salad, we went with the Chicken Florentine, and even the rolls were nice and warm for us. The drinks were also very well made. We had a lot of family from out of town, including Mexico City, Canada, Texas, and it was important to provide a special reception for our loved ones. Everyone raved about how beautiful it was. It looked like a million bucks wedding, and it was totally affordable. The server’s and bartenders were also really courteous, most amazing customer service. The venue set everything up. You were able to chose which ever vendor you wanted, which is nice because sometimes you have to go with the required vendors. We had the opportunity to stay overnight as well, and it was such a beautiful room and atmosphere. Family who also stayed in the hotel, stated it was wonderfully situated by the marina and by the airport. The reception ambiance was so light, elegant, and really filled with love. Families even called us architects of wedding planning, but the service and quality of the Humphrey’s Half Moon Inn really had a lot to do with it. We highly, highly, recommend the venue based on the quality and affordability. We truly had the wedding of our dreams.

I fell in love with the concert lawn at first sight. I ended up cancelling my other venue viewing appointments. Our wedding turned out perfect! Everyone loved the venue. The outdoor space was stunning, views are gorgeous, the stage was a bonus, the food was delicious, staff and vendor referrals were amazing and the lounge was fun and convenient. The only negative is the rooms are dated but I had to overlook that because the concert lawn is one of a kind!

We LOVED the venue. It could not be a more picturesque place for an event, especially a wedding!! Darla and the staff at Humphreys were so amazing. Definitely recommend Humphreys!

We held our wedding rehearsal dinner at Humphrey's. Our wedding party was fairly large at almost 70 guests but Humphrey's was accomodating. We were set up in one oftheir largest rooms which had a beautiful view of the marina and concert area. We had a mexican buffet which was excellent. We highly recommend Humphrey's

We stayed here the night before our wedding and we loved it! It was beautiful and there was so much space for our bridal party. We found a sheet with a stain on it and they brought us new sheets and even reimbursed us for some fees for the inconvenience. We would definitely come back!

We took our wedding photos here and got ready here, what a perfect setting. They have an excellent back drop for photos and couldn't be more helpful. Gorgeous grounds and a great atmosphere. A wonderful experience.

They were excellent to work with. They made sure that every detail would be attended to and we had a fabulous wedding at their site. They were accommodating to our desires and needs with what they could provide. Highly recommended to other brides and grooms!

We used the Humphrey's concert lawn for our reception venue, and it was gorgeous! Darla was good to work with, generally quick to respond to emails/phone calls. They do tons of weddings, so they're not super flexible, but they do a great job!

I was supposed to have a small ceremony at my great aunt's estate in Vermont, but we had to move the venue here locally to San Diego because my mom could not travel. This is where Humphrey's was a life saver, the venue was easier for most of my family to attend, and I was very happy with the services and price. Especially considering how everything was put together in such short notice.

We had the outside venue, so make sure the time of year is suitable. Mid October was lovely!

I had my wedding here at Humphreys. Thank goodness I had the most amazing wedding coordinator or else the wedding wouldn't have happened. The onsite event planner was ver difficult to work with. The banquet manager left hours before the wedding ended. The location and food are amazing but service and cost for poor service is repulsive.
