I had an amazing wedding. Everything was so perfect and very well organized. AShley and her team were great. Food was delicious and drinks as well. Everyone was very nice and beautiful venue. Where do I even start?! Finding the perfect location was important to my husband and I. I wanted to have any area for our guests to enjoy the our beautiful sunset and weather outside but have the reception inside, considering Florida's crazy weather patterns. When we discovered the Holiday Inn Clearwater Beach, I knew from the first meeting with Nancy and seeing the Duval Ballroom, this was the perfect place for us. We had the ceremony over looking the gulf on the pool deck and the reception in the Duval ballroom. It was so convenient having everything in one spot. Nancy was always responsive to my emails and offered so many helpful suggestions that I would have never thought of. We never planned a wedding before, and it was so overwhelming. The packages here made wedding planning effortless. The food was delicious, service was in a timely manner, and staff was so nice. Our day was absolutely perfect and the Duval Ballroom was so beautiful. I would strongly recommend the Holiday Inn Clearwater Beach to any bride or groom looking in the Clearwater/St. Pete area. Thank you Nancy and Holiday Inn! You made our dream wedding a reality.

We had our destination wedding at the Holiday Inn Clearwater Beach Duval Ballroom in July 2018. It was such a great experience working with Nancy and all of the staff at the Holiday Inn. We had our ceremony on the lower pool deck and our reception in the Duval Ballroom. This is really a hidden gem on Clearwater Beach. Much of my vendor team had not done weddings here and were so impressed. The views and accommodations were fantastic. The location is right on the water, so they don't technically have a 'beach' but our ceremony and reception was right at the water's edge and was just picturesque. We had 80 people travel to Florida from Ohio for our wedding and many of them stayed at the Holiday Inn also. Everyone loved the hotel, pool, restaurant, game room, and everything about the wedding venue. The outdoor veranda of the Duval was so amazing to watch the sunset and even partake in the daily 'sunset shot' from Jimmy's Fish House. The staff at the Duval ballroom was fantastic. The food was good and came out in a very timely manner. The bartenders were great. The venue included all serving staff, tables, chairs, linens, serving ware, chair covers and sashes making it super easy to plan! Nancy has been the event coordinator here for many many years and it shows. She is cool calm and collected and knows exactly what she's doing to keep everything moving with the timeline. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone for a wedding or any event.

The wedding at the Hilton was amazing. The waitstaff was so attentive, we absolutely loved them. The coordinator Courtney was very helpful, and remembered all the personal touches my daughter requested. It was simply all we hoped for. Dan (banquet) and Mike service) were especially amazing and our favorites.

I literally could not have asked for more when booking with Holiday Inn Clearwater Beach. Nancy is simply amazing and goes above and beyond to make sure that everyone is satisfied and everything is in place for your big day.

From our initial meeting with her a year before the wedding, we knew that she just understood us as a couple with what we wanted to do, and the type of wedding that we wanted to have. We went back once for a reception tasting and were very impressed. If you are unsure because you think "oh it's just hotel food" well think again, because this was some quality stuff. All of the guests raved about how great the food was, including all of the appetizers during cocktail hour. And the view from the balcony of the Duval Ballroom is amazing! Everyone was posting pictures of the sunset, pirate ship, etc and just loved the location.

Nancy was great on follow up - I must have emailed her 1000 times between when we booked and the day of the wedding, and she was always prompt and went out of her way to make sure the day was as stress free as possible. She was great with recommending vendors as well - this is how we found our AMAZING photographer (Brian Idocks - look him up!).

I could go on and on with every little thing that she (and everyone at the hotel) did to help make our day special, but this would be a novel! I just can't thank her and everyone enough for making our day amazing and stress free and just overall the best day of my life. Can't recommend enough!

Everything about our day was perfect...none of it could have been accomplished without Nancy! She is amazingly helpful and accomodating. We can't say enough kind things about her and the entire team. We will always remember a perfect day with a beautiful setting!

We knew from the moment we saw the Duval Ballroom that this would be the place we would have our wedding reception. After already looking at several venue's prior, we knew the Duval Ballroom had the best accommodations for us. The ballroom stands alone away from the hotel and has a wonderful view of the gulf from the patio which runs along the entire back of the ballroom. Originally we had planned to get married on Sand Key Beach but decided to get married at the Holiday Inn overlooking the gulf, and we are so glad we did! It was so nice having everything in one place not only for us but for our guests as well. We had our rehearsal dinner the evening before our wedding in the hotel restaurant (Jimmy's Fish House and Iguana Bar) and it went wonderfully.

Nancy was an absolute gem through our wedding and reception planning process. She was always there to answer all of my questions which helped put my mind at ease. Nancy oversaw every detail to ensure that everything went according to plan. Thank you so much Nancy!!

We are so happy with the quality of service we received from everyone at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites during all of our wedding events! We couldn't have asked for more for our wedding day! Would highly recommend for your big day!!

What sold us on this venue was the amazing view from the balcony of the Duval Ballroom. We looked at all the other hotels on Clearwater Beach and the Duval Ballroom had the best views by far. We had a small wedding (about 30 people) and got married on the balcony. Our guests were able to look out over the water without having to deal with the sand. It was great to just walk right into the Ballroom for our reception afterwards. The food was better than our tasting. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and Nancy was great to work with!

We firstly chose the ballroom for the different menu packages they offered, we were looking for something less formal than a sit-down meal and their plans fit our budget best. The balcony overlooking the gulf with the high tops was beautiful and we were allowed into the room at 10am to begin setting up for 7pm reception. It was extremely nice to be the only event there that day. Nancy is very prompt with her replies and informative as to what you can or cannot do with the room (ie, decor). She is not wedding coordinator, but manages the ballroom, which she is honest and up front about from the beginning. One thing that is not included in the package is guaranteed parking, which is an additional $250-$500 fee. I did hear that our guests had some difficulties booking rooms at the Holiday Inn, but overall everything went very well.

Nancy was a amazing help and very understanding person... We wanted a sand beach wedding and when we went to visit the holiday inn and seen their beautiful ball room and the way the balcony over looked the water we were sold. On top of their awesome view the ceremony deck right on the water was just as wonderful. Nancy answered all of our questions and helped us get the best deal to fit out budget. My wedding day was 3/22/14 and it was beautiful in every way. Thank u Nancy for everything!!!!!

AMAZING! Nancy is a rockstar and we had a beautiful wedding! I could not have asked for a more amazing wedding! This hotel is a hidden gem...there is more than meets the eye!

The Sales & Catering office at this hotel was an absolute charm to work with. We had the pleasure of working with Nancy Deinzer who made everything wonderful. She is a very creative, understanding and does not miss a trick. She coordinanted and handled everything to make the day very special. She will provide a day that that you will never forget and your guests will talk about for a very long time. The Duval Ballroom over looks the gulf and had the most breathtaking views. The wedding pictures from the balcony are amazing and we were so happy we were able to capture them. From beginning to end, everything was handled in a very courtious and professional manner and I cannot Thank Nancy Deinzer and the staff at the Holiday Inn enough for making the day "Very Special" and one to remember forever.

This is where my husband and i first stayed together and we wanted to get married here. Everyone at the hotel helped us and went above and beyond for us. Everything they said they would do they did and things they said they would try they were able to get done for us. Even with all the craziness that happened they helped us a lot! Thanks.

Beautiful views of the gulf right from our balcony, staff was friendly and helpful, pool and pool bar were nice, water activities within walking distance, the attached restaurant (Jimmys) had good food & drinks, overall nice atmosphere

Nancy the director of sales and catering is the BEST!!!!! The Duval conference center is beautiful. And if you have a budget but want the perfect views THIS IS THE PLACE!!! My only warning is that the hotel staff when it comes to rooms are not the greatest. The food for our wedding was a hit and was restaurant quality for an amazing price!

This was a wonderful venue for a small wedding of 100 or less people. The personal service you get is wonderful and for a spring/early summer wedding, outdoors by the pool area is perfect!

Beautiful location for a sunset cocktail hour. Food was great. Nancy, the event manager, is easy to work with and very helpful.

Any issues I had was with the hotel itself (Holiday Inn & Suites). My overnight bag never made it to our room (luckily it went to another family member's room), a champagne, fruit and cheese platter was sent to us but never made it to our room, and worst of all, I accidently left my wedding dress sash and jewelry in the room. My sash was never found and my jewelry didn't turn up for 2 weeks. The lost and found department is really unhelpful.

The Duval Center at Holiday Inn Clearwater is the best hotel venue on the beach. While it's not the cheapest, it's not the most expensive either. And chair covers and bows are included with every color imaginable!! I love, love, love the fact that the ballroom is separate than the rest of the hotel so you don't have to share your open bar with spring-breakers or wedding crashers. It has a big balcony right off the ballroom with a beautiful view of the water and sunset. I had smokers at the wedding and in the wedding party and everywhere else wanted to put them out in the parking lot. Here- I could always find my guests. Our family was

My wedding was everything I wanted from the Holiday Inn...the ceremony/reception was beautiful. The people in charge of events there could be a little more understanding and personable-they always seemed to be annoyed and in a bad mood. However, my day was perfect--thanks to all of my friends and family.
