    Excellent service

    Penny Shafazand was extremely helpful during the planning, coordination and implementation of the reception luncheon. She was always available for calls and made sure all our questions were answered. We highly recommend her services! On the day of the reception, Fernando Grandy was extremely helpful and the setup was very nicely done. The entire team did a fantastic job in making sure the reception took place flawlessly. Many thanks to both Penny and Fernanado and their team. If I had to do another event, I would choose their services again

    Great experience from the beginning to the end

    Wonderful Wedding Experience

    We chose this Hilton property due to the ballroom's high ceilings and the location (closer to the airport for our out-of-town guests). We worked with Penny leading up to the wedding and the reception. We had an amazing experience working with Penny, as she was always there to answer all of our questions and guide us through the process regarding the hotel's requirements. It was great working with Fernando on our event days, as he was always there to supervise everything and was very accommodating of our requests.

    We definitely recommend this Hilton property to other couples, and make sure to work with Penny and Fernando, as they were awesome!

    Beautiful Space! - Dream Come True

    We had our wedding at the Hilton Dulles Airport in the beautiful Belmont Ballroom, and it was absolutely perfect! We hosted about 370 guests, and the space was elegant, spacious, and beautifully set up. Everything—from the lighting to the layout—looked stunning and flowed seamlessly throughout the evening.

    A huge thank you to Fernando Grandy, our Banquet Manager, for running the event so smoothly. He was attentive, professional, and made sure every detail was handled with care. Our guests raved about how well-organized and timely everything was.

    And of course, a special shoutout to Penny Shafazand, the Senior Catering Sales Manager. Penny was amazing to work with from day one—so responsive, kind, and accommodating. She made the planning process stress-free and helped us customize everything perfectly for our vision.

    We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or a better team. If you’re planning a large wedding and want great service, a beautiful ballroom, and a staff that truly cares, we highly recommend the Hilton Dulles!

    Our event was a success!!

    Penny was extremely helpful in planning our event. She helped guide us with the menu selection, set up and all the things needed in making sure our event was a success. They were also flexible and helped us stay within our budget. Ferdinando was very helpful on the night of our Gala. He made sure that everything was taken care of and all our guests were happy. All in all, a beautiful night. Highly recommend!!

The venue was impeccably clean, beautifully appointed, and equipped with state-of-the-art facilities that perfectly suited our needs.     Formal Ball

    I have organized many events over the last 20 years and during that time, I have worked with so many event managers at a variety of venue types. Those experiences weren’t all good due to the lack of expertise of the event manager in charge of my events because there are so many details that must be addressed to acquire a positive outcome. This Hilton has a top notch event manager and the team she worked with delivered extraordinary services. The chef was so flexible and talented with the menu. The staff that served us all evening and the manager of the catering department couldn't have been any better. These are all factors that will affect your event, and you will find all of these wonderful people at this Hilton location. Our event went off without a single issue because we were blessed with this Hilton's team members. For those people out there that do not have the experience that I have in organizing events, you do not need to worry, as these people will guide you every step of the way.

    50th class reunion

    Our event was fabulous from beginning to end. The room was beautiful. The food display was spectacular and very tasty! Penny was so easy to work with and very responsive. I would definitely book with her again. Our guests had a fantastic time! It was an incredible weekend!

    Penny & the team at Hilton Washington Dulles are AMAZING!

    Although it took me a while to get to writing this review, please know that this 10 out of 10 score is VERY well deserved!! Penny Shafazand was our coordinator at the Hilton Washington Dulles and I must say, I could not have been happier with our wedding day! She eased my anxiety from weeks prior up until the very last minute when my anxiety got the best of me right before I walked through the big gates. Everyone from morning to night staff at Hilton were beyond personable. We had the presidential suite & they catered to our every needs. If you are thinking about where to host your next big day in Virginia, do it here & have Penny and the Hilton team here make your day special like they did mine!

    College Reunion Event

    We celebrated our college reunion in June 2025. I am glad that we chose Hilton (Washington/Dulles) as our venue. Penny, Hilton’s event director, helped make our event a grand success. She provided guidance all the way including on selection of the ballrooms and other facilities, and helped us tailor the buffet, bar and other services. Penny collaborated with us from beginning to end, patiently answering all our questions related to Hilton facilities and services, and matching them to our needs and budget.

    Banquet manager, Fernando and other Hilton staff were punctual, professional and cordial at the same time. The facilities and services were just as we planned. And, they were much more. We had so much uninterrupted fun that Hilton (Washington/Dulles) is easily our destination for future events.

    20th Anniversary Celebration

    Exceptional. Penny S., Miriam and the entire Banquet Staff were incredible. Working with Penny was such a joy from the first meeting till the celebration was complete. Her attention to detail, professionalism, and recommendations had every part of the preparation and the execution running like clockwork. Miriam and the banquet team were attentive and responsive to all out guests needs, even making a meal adjustment for a last-minute guest that arrived and needed a vegan meal. They did not hesitate to ensure she was well taken care of. The dinner was served hot and delicious. We reserved the Red Fox room as the place for our event. It was the same room we had 20 years ago for our Wedding Reception. The staff made it feel as wonderful as it was 20 years ago. We look forward to returning for our 25th Anniversary Vow Renewal Reception because we know we will receive exceptional service. Thanks to the General Manager and hotel staff for the special touches. We enjoyed everything.

    My family was looking for a stellar venue for our daughter's wedding. We had toured a lot of places, and finally decided on the Hilton

    Hilton's staff are their biggest assests and this we found in Penny Shafazand. right from the get go, she listened patiently and answered all our questions and made helpful recommendations and helped us select the menu and decor that made the most sense and impact. She also shared a list of vendors that were tried and tested and made the whole overwhelming wedding process streamlined and smooth.     A Wonderful Venue with Outstanding Service

    I highly recommend the Hilton Washington Dulles for your event. Penny assisted us with the booking, and she & Fernando were there to support us during the event. Both were incredibly professional and attentive. The hotel is conveniently located off Route 28, and the ballroom is spacious and well-maintained.     Outstanding Venue for Rehearsal Dinner!

    We recently had the pleasure of hosting our rehearsal dinner in the Old Ox Room at the Hilton Hotel. The venue was absolutely gorgeous and the staff went all out to make our event fun, memorable, and stress-free. Penny was particularly helpful in planning the event, and Fernando was the consummate professional on the day of the event, ensuring that everything went perfectly. Guests are still raving about the food 2 weeks later and the chef went out of his way to accommodate allergies and dietary restrictions. We could not be happier with the overall experience and we enthusiastically recommend this venue to other couples looking for a rehearsal dinner venue in Northern Virginia.

    This venue made our dreams come true!

    We had the pleasure of meeting with Penny at the Hilton at Dulles Airport several months ahead of our wedding. Penny and her team are the most professional, efficient, and responsive group you can ever work with. Penny guided us through everything, explained everything clearly, and we always left our meeting with a smile.

    The planning was very thorough and efficient. Penny is experienced with many different cultural events and knew exactly what we were looking for. She was able to cover all of our bases, and was also flexible enough to accommodate what we asked for.

    Our event was held in the the Bellmont Ballroom, the biggest space on site. We were looking at around 240-50 people for our event. Penny was able to utilize the space so well, everyone was seated comfortably, no table was too crowded, and it seemed like you could easily fit 100 more people, even with the largest dance floor they had in the room.

    In addition, the ballroom is very very customizable to your wants and dreams. We were referred to a local decorator (separate vendor from the hotel), to help bring the space to our vision and it was perfect! Be sure to ask Penny about them ;)

    The food provided was very very tasty, and the staff was so efficient. Everyone was able to get a plate in great time, some of our guests were able to come back for seconds. There is also a late night menu option as well, for our party peoples :)

    My Wedding event was amazing!!

    I held my baraat event here, and from the beginning Penny was able to help make me feel comfortable and secure in planning this event!     Wedding June 2024

    It was great experience to have our Iraqi wedding at the Hilton-by Dulles airport, the decision was made easily when decided to book there in the first place. Within 2 months everything was made ready by amazing Penny. She was with us all the way in every step and very detailed oriented. The food was excellent and we had memorable wedding there. Wish to have it for second time there.

    Wedding reception

    We held a wedding reception at Hilton Dulles. The whole experience, from booking to the actual event, the whole staff, but especially Ms. Penny, did an outstanding job. We could rely on her completely to see things are running smoothly. She went above and beyond for us and we feel so grateful. The Venue itself is beautiful and the photos and videos came out beautiful. Again, I couldn’t recommend this venue enough for any event!

    A very responsive team- an amazing experience overall!

    We have enjoyed the Hilton Washington-Dulles Airport wedding and reception venue and services four times in the last few years. They have always met our standards. The team is very courteous, polite, and responsive, They work very well with other vendors for the wedding services.     Penny was very responsive, on time, efficient, and so so helpful through this process for us. She laid out every detail for us and also made many suggestions that were helpful. She basically is a wedding planner all in one, I would 100% recommend her to anyone that needs somebody to hold their hand through the process.     Memorable Experience!

    The entire staff was terrific. Let's start from the beginning; Penny was incredibly cooperative. She went above and beyond to accommodate my arrangements for the event. She spent plenty of time reviewing my thoughts and making them see the light. She had me meet the outstanding chef, Sam, who went through the menu with me and made recommendations. The Hor's d'oeuvre selections were tasty; the buffet had plenty of delicious food. I needed to block several rooms for the event; Penny introduced me to Maggie, who was very friendly and cooperative. She nicely made many changes and committed to her word. The event was for my business team's Holiday Celebration and the retirement of a couple of our teammates. So, I had additional decorations not mentioned before on the event day. The banquet manager, Fernando, went over the board to re-set the ballroom. His team was super attentive and cooperative. I can go on and on more, but I'm running out of space here :)

    Beautiful venue for any occasion.

    Rangoli Restaurant is a preferred caterer at Hilton Washington Dulles hotel and we enjoy working here. We really like that the ball room is a separate building with it's own kitchen, that allows us the freedom to work freely, at our own pace. The staff are always super helpful and courteous. Added bonus is that the sales team recommends us, and we make a great partnership. We highly recommend the venue for smooth, hassle free events.

    Hilton Dulles - Belmont Ballroom

    Wonderful experience. Penny, the Wedding Manager is the best. She was always available for anything needed to make my event perfect even on her days off.     We had a wonderful brunch for my daughter's Sweet 16 . Penny, our coordinator, was fantastic. She was so attentive to my wants and needs.     Personable/Detail Oriented Experience; Couldn't ask for More!

    We were initially a little hesitant about having a wedding reception at a hotel but that all changed when we met Penny and received a tour of the venue. She was attentive, personable and shared her experience which assisted in making our wedding one of the most beautiful, classy and energetic weddings I have ever been to - which is great because it was mine! The food was legit. My wife and I are "foodies" and it was spectacular. Penny is friends with a great DJ and he crushed the music, sparkler and smoke effects like none other. Penny provided great decorative advice as well. Couldn't have asked for more.

    Great Venue and Value in DMV area

    We recently hosted my brother's reception at the Dulles Hilton and couldn't be happier with the experience. The staff and coordinator (Penny) were absolutely fantastic to work with from start to finish. They were always available to answer my questions and help with any concerns I had leading up to the big day.
    On the day of the wedding, evwrything was executed as discussed. The venue was absolutely beautiful to take photos inside the lobby and hall. Overall, I highly recommend Dulles Hilton for those looking for a wedding venue. The service, coordination, value and experience was exceptional. A big thank you to the staff and coordinator for making the wedding reception day memorable and special!

    Hilton is TOP in customer service

    We recently had our wedding made possible by the Hilton Hotel. Their customer service is the best I have ever seen, and I have worked in customer service myself for over 8 years and I was truly impressed. The food for the wedding was outstanding, the tasting session was exactly what we got the night of the wedding. The wedding coordinator was extremely patient in accommodating every one of our needs. She was able to book us an extravagant suite for the night as well as make sure that all the vendors were communicating and on the same page as far as the scheduling. She really went above and beyond in making sure our night was amazing, and even stopped by personally to attend part of the wedding. Definitely the best customer service I have ever experienced, I would highly recommend this vendor to anyone and will be booking all future events and occasions with them!

    Hilton has the best team work i have ever seen in my life. Work to make you feel comfortable and according to your budget. I was helped first by Samira then after COVID-19 we got helped by Maggie she is the best person ever i have met in my life..very flexible, understanding, cooperative, helped us a lot during COVID-19 situation..I can't find any word enough to thank her..very organized..care for you a lot and follow up with you..she responds back to you very fast even from home..she didn't forget any details you told her that you wanted..I think because of her everything was perfect in my wedding..the entrance, cake, food, rooms for guest, bride,groom, bridemaids. I didn't even lost anything I got for my wedding as after my wedding she packed everything I gave her to get them back, very honest, I had a great honor that I met with her and that we worked together. She gave us great offers and she did cared about to have a great photosession at the hotel after wedding by 8 months as our photographer at the actual wedding wasn't good so she helped us to get over that situation. she is very nice person and polite.     Relief Team

    Hilton Washington Dulles was the most easy team to work with as well as accommodating. Michael, Joseph and Samira all worked with me through some hurdles to try and give me the day that I wanted.
    The ONLY downside was that I remembered the rooms being a tad nicer when I used to stay here. Some of my guests complained that their rooms lacked hot water or that some of the light switches didn't work.
    On the SUPER plus side....our food was FANTASTIC!!! Everyone said so! I remember during my taste test, I thought that the food was exceptionally good but that it was only because they had to prepare a couple dishes just for the taste test. No, they brought out the same great quality meal to each and every one of my guest! We all know that the food is one of the most memorable things at a wedding. One guest actually told me she started eating slower just to savor the risotto!
    I'm not a female that's BIG on weddings and a lot of it I had to figure out along the way (sometimes too late) but again, my Hilton team made it SO easy for me and I am grateful to them for all the hard work and assistance.

    Great experience

    We had our wedding at the Hilton this past September using both of the ballrooms they have - the Belmont as well as the Potomac ballrooms. Our experience with all of the Hilton staff was excellent from the beginning to the end. The Hilton was very flexible in terms of various contract packages and also allowed outside catering as an option. Our venue coordinator Bahareh was so accommodating and helpful - even when we made some changes last minute and had to have multiple meetings. The venue looked amazing on our day and the Hilton’s catering managers went above and beyond to help us with small things that we had overlooked planning. It was also very convenient for our out of town guests to be able to stay in the hotel and arrive straight from the airport there in a free shuttle.

    A Wonderful Event Experience

    Had a very pleasant experience at the Hilton Dulles airport. From the beginning, Samira was very patient, explaining all the options so when it came to signing the contract, everything was easy to understand and very straight-forward. Our event coordinator, Bahareh, was also great. From the initial planning meeting she was very patient, knowledgeable and easy to work with. The night of the event, Bahareh and her staff did an amazing job from beginning to end. They were very attentive and pleasant and paid attention to all the requested details. Had a wonderful event experience and will use this venue again for future events. Highly recommend the Hilton Dulles to all friends and family. Thank you so much, Samira, Bahareh and the entire event staff.

    Best place ever

    We had a picture of our wedding in mind. The Hilton definitely went above and beyond our expectations. Special thanks to Samira, who was a fantastic help and managing the event. Our guests said that the food and services were one of the best that they have had at a wedding. Thank you for spending the last year planning our wedding and making sure everything was a pinpoint perfect.

    Thank you for Excellent Service

    We could not have picked a better place to have our Grand party for our daughter! All of the staff at Hilton Washington Dulles were amazing and super helpful with everything!
    They always made sure that we had everything we needed and were very attentive to detail,Deborah the sales director who we interacted initially to sign the contract was excellent and very supportive. Michael our service manager was excellent, Supportive very responsive and prompt. Micheal, Deb, Tito and Susan(PSAV) with the rest of the team made sure we had everything to make this event a grand success.

    Beyond Expectations

    The entire experience from planning to execution was performed flawlessly and beyond our expectations. The service was top notch and the staff prepared our area to be extra classy and had the feel of luxury.

    All three courses of our dinner were delectable and I would encourage anyone to select the Salmon and Tiramisu.

    Special shoutout to Samira for going above and beyond to make our experience special and quite memorable.

    Very nice hotel

    We had our daughter wedding ceremony at Hilton Dulles airport on jun, 07, 19. With the help of Bahareh Kia who was in charge of the ceremony, without her help, we could not be able to come up with this beautiful event!!.     Respected & lovely!

    Everything was perfect. Organizing my wedding with Ariuna was memorable. She made it easy on me! I had to follow up couple of times on things here and there, but overall, things were going smooth! The potomic ballroom is very elegant and servers were ready to help!

    Amazing Venue

    The venue is in a convenient location near the Dulles aiport, which made it very accessible to our guests. Hotel accomodations were perfect! Moreover, the staff worked hard to make our wedding a memorable success - especially Deb and Ariuna - we couldn't have done it without their patience, guidance and help! Thank you!

    Professional and Easy

    Ace of Events was hired by the client for Day-of Wedding services. Ace team worked with Ariuna De Marchis and she was absolutely great leading up to the event and also on-site. Rest of the Hilton team from Captain Tito and everyone else were a great help and we really enjoyed woking with them. The client was extremely happy and that is due to a great team at the Hilton! Thank you for an amazing job and look forward to doing it again soon!

    We used Hilton Washington Dulles Airport for our host hotel because we had a lot of out of town guests. Kayla was amazing! She was extremely helpful tracking the rooms because we were also offering a shuttle for our guests and I needed to stay on top of the count before making a final decision on which size shuttle. They were also able to give us great group rates! The most reasonable rates around the near area. It was great working with them and the hotel is beautiful and convenient to the airport with free airport shuttle. Would definitely use them again!

    Treaza Waheeb worked with us from planning to the event completion. We are very impressed by her professionalism and attention to detail. She went out of her way to ensure that all aspects of the event were exceptional. Ms. Waheeb made it very much easier for us to tend to other rather tedious tasks. It would have been somewhat difficult had she not been there.
    Ms. Waheeb kept in touch with us throught this time, assisted and guided us, had all the answers for our questions. She definitely knows how important these events are for all the parties concerned and has the capacity and capability to handle all the issues related to these events. We are very happy that she was in our camp. We appreciate the Hilton has such dedicated personnel. We know that Ms. Waheeb will continue to provide the same level of service to your clients that she was very kind to render to us. We strongly recommend Her, Hilton and all the other staff.

    I loved working with Treaza Waheeb. As a bride you are always on the go and you need someone to keep you organized. Treaza is just that person! She was so organized and always on top of the venue arrangements. Starting from the initial setup meeting till coordinating with my decorator, Treaza did it all and I was stress free on the day of my wedding.

    What a truly fabulous wedding reception the Hilton organized for my daughter's wedding! We started out with Kay Rook, who helped us narrow down exactly what we wanted for The Big Day. We decided on a reception in the Belmont Ballroom for about 160 guests for a plated dinner. Once the date got closer, we worked with Kalyani Rogers to make the detailed choices and create the event timeline that catered perfectly to our needs. A couple of months before the wedding, we sat down to a trial of several different meals before choosing filet mignon and sea bass as our selections. We wouldn't have gone wrong choosing any of the selections, though. The chef was accommodating and truly interested in our feedback. We reserved a block of 50 rooms for our out of town guests and the registration desk delivered our guest bags to each one as they checked in. On the day of the reception, the entire staff worked hard to make sure the event went perfectly. From the bartenders who accommodated every drink request, to the wait staff who accommodated our MANY food exception requests (dairy-free, gluten-free, child meals, vegetarian, plain, etc.) every single person did an exceptional job of making this a wonderful event from start to finish.

    Kay Rook, the Director of Catering and Conference Services, told us with confidence that we would not need a wedding planner if we worked with them because they took care of all the details. We decided to trust her and SHE WAS RIGHT! No detail was left undone and every detail we added was taken care of. The Senior Convention Services Manager, Kalyani Rogers, who was our main point of contact through the whole event, has the most easy-going, friendly, calm personality you could ask for. Her response to everything we asked was "yes, of course". Kalyani went over and above anything I could have requested and made the day an absolute joy. Her presence at the event ensured everything went perfectly. This is a memory that will last forever.

    To say that choosing the Hilton Washington Dulles was the best choice I made during wedding planning is an understatement. They were the first venue I called to ask about their packages, and the first venue I toured. Not only was the venue beautiful, their team was sweet and dedicated. We met with Anna Johns who made us feel comfortable and excited to book the Hilton as our venue. From the beginning, they worked with me and my fiancé to make everything perfect. Being from out of town, I didn't have any recommendations for decorations or DJ or florist. They provided all the information for their preferred vendors to help me get a jump start! Their dedication wasn't just during the planning stages. Kalyani Rogers was on top of everything I dreamed of. The week of the wedding she double checked my schedule to make sure everything was on track, and secured the room next to the parlor to make sure me and all my bridesmaids had plenty of room to get ready on the big day! The parlor room was beyond my expectations. They had enough chairs and room for 9 bridesmaids, 3 flower girls, 3 makeup artists, 2 hair artists, and a bride to all comfortably get ready. We had a lot of decorations ourselves, and Kaylani worked with us to get everything unloaded the day before. Kalyani took every detail of the decorations I wanted and executed them perfectly. From table covers and menus and napkin settings, to our makeshift photo-booth (that they graciously provided a table for) and centerpieces and wedding favors. They worked with my stage decorator despite her schedule since she was double booked that day. The food at the wedding was delicious and well presented! Their service for our friends and family was tremendous, everybody said they enjoyed the hotel and stay. In the end, there are a million little details to have the perfect wedding. And I feel like picking the Hilton at Washington Dulles was the best decision because they made every detail come true easily.

    We had a wonderful reception at the Hilton! Everyone was so polite, responded to our many questions/requests quickly, and there were no issues the day of the wedding. Thanks to their extensive checklist, not only did we have a TON of choices to personalize the reception, but there was nothing left up in the air. Everything went very smoothly and they made sure we had a great day!

    My wife and I got married and had our reception here Oct 22 2017. We worked with Kalyani and had a wonderful experience! The food was fantastic and so much was included like a honeymoon suite for the night and rooms to get ready in! We were also able to have our dogs in the ceremony! The staff was very friendly. Kalyani was very responsive to our emails and meeting with us. Everything was so convenient. We had a perfect day!

    This was our second year holding our marriage retreat at the Hilton Washington Dulles Airport. The first year was outstanding, but somehow they found a way to surpass our expectations once again. The planning team walked me through the process and provided valuable advice to make our retreat perfect. There was a bit of a "snafu" with our banquet room assignment, but sales manager went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable with the change and the new room fit us perfectly.

    When I arrived to begin setting up for our event, the convention services manager was waiting for me in the lobby. In addition to tying up those last minute details, he found a cart for me, helped me unload my car, and walked with me as I delivered gift baskets to our facilitator rooms. One of our vendors arrived before I did and she couldn't wait to tell me how she was blown away with the level of excellence she experienced.

    Throughout the weekend every request we made was addressed quickly and pleasantly. Being able to communicate with the staff via text message was awesome! The food was outstanding and the rooms beautiful and very comfortable. We can't wait to host our retreat at the hotel again next year!

    Wow it was such a wonderful experience having my daughter sweet 16 at Hilton Washington Dulles . The banquet manager Treaza Waheeb was really nice and accommodating. She was calm and cool with last minute changes I made and always smiling. The party went smoothly without any problems because of Treaza Waheeb and the staff at Hilton.

    Treaza and the entire team made our experience fantastic. They were very accommodating during planning and were *on hand* during the actual wedding reception to handle any questions or sudden changes. The hotel was very welcoming to us and even included gifts to make our night special. The hotel staff treated us and our guests with prompt, polite and on-point service. The hotel rates were exceptional, especially for this area, and together with the airport access made this location the clear choice above the rest.     The team at the Hilton Washington Dulles was exceptional - Kay Rook and her banquet team provided wonderful service for our event, responding to and handling every single detail. We received very positive comments from our guests on the food, which was amazing. The AV team was also exceptional even though we had several issues before the gala started.
