We got married at the Hilton in June 2022 and had an incredibly positive experience throughout the entire process! Our wedding ended up having to be postponed twice, but the team at the Hilton coordinated these changes smoothly, being more than accommodating to our many needs. The thorough communication and broad access to resources throughout the planning stages was never an issue and we really had the feeling that they were truly there to ensure we had the wedding of our dreams instead of trying to push a product. When the big day finally came, all our vendors had a point of contact at the hotel that was physically present to oversee the set-up, giving us the chance to focus on the ceremony without worrying about the logistics. She even allowed us a sneak peak at the room before the guests entered and was there throughout the evening to help with any issues that arose, as well as being kind enough to run gifts and the card box up to the bridal suite!

As far as the quality of the product goes, it was everything we could have imagined. The food was absolutely DELICIOUS (thank you to the chef and team!) and we highly recommend the braised short rib, pistachio crusted halibut, and risotto! Bar selections are broad and moderately priced, with the ability to arrange for higher tiers if we wanted. We also requested wine service at dinner and never felt any lack of attention given to us or our guests. There was ample room for dancing, great options in terms of lighting (even up to us making a last-minute lighting change during our sneak peak), and fantastic angles for our photographers to capture pictures.

Overall, we were VERY impressed and appreciative of all the work and attention to detail that the Hilton gave us for the wedding and have memories of that day that will last us a lifetime. We both highly recommend it as a venue for your wedding! Thank you very much to everyone who worked so hard to ensure we had the wedding of our dreams!

Side note: We highly recommend 1700 Degrees Steakhouse in the hotel for the rehearsal dinner. Again, delicious food and a high attention to detail. What’s more, all the logistics can be coordinated directly with the same group that facilitated the wedding reception. Just like we mentioned before, we had someone present to oversee the evening and ensure it all flowed smoothly, which was a tremendous help. They were even able to time service around speeches and toasts, and coordinated with the chef to create a last-minute vegan dish in the middle of dinner! Our guests are still talking about how great of a time they had!

We were supposed to have a large reception at the Hilton in October of this year. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, we had to make some changes. For us, that meant moving our reception outdoors, but the Hilton was amazing about the changes in plans and they still did the catering for our event. The food and drinks were amazing. Everything was served hot and tasted delicious, despite moving offsite. Most importantly, the team at the Hilton was AMAZING. Rachele talked to us every week leading up to the wedding to ensure that everything was planned out and would run smoothly. She went through every detail and made us feel so comfortable, even while planning from a distance. We couldn't have done it without here. She is amazing and we would highly recommend the Hilton to anyone planning a wedding. It was the best experience and the perfect wedding day!

My husband and I got married on August 24, 2019 at the Hilton. We hosted our ceremony in 1/3 of the Ballroom and the Reception in the other 2/3. Everything was exactly what I had hoped it would be...and MORE! The set up crew and wait staff was so accommodating and friendly. The food was 5-star, especially the garden vegetable risotto!! :) The best part?....Rachele! She was the best wedding coordinator! She was so insightful and responsive to my 10,000 emails throughout the wedding planning process. The concept of hotel room blocks was foreign to me and she ensured everything was seamless for our guests. She coordinated the Bridal suites for getting ready and staying for the weekend. The day of the wedding, she facilitated every aspect, not only with the Hilton but with all vendors, helping to put my mind at ease. We hosted our after-party in the Hill Society room on the first floor, which made it convenient for our guests. The bartender, Mark, was fabulous! All in all, if I could relive our day, I would choose the Hilton 10 times over!

My husband and I visited 5 wedding venues total and we liked the Hilton Harrisburg the best. The hotel is right downtown which is great for out of town guests who are looking for things to do during their stay. The hotel interior is nice and modern looking which makes for some great photos. We really liked the all-inclusive one price structure that the Hilton offers with their wedding packages. Definitely less headaches for us. The hotel also offers an on-site wedding coordinator – the amazing Rachele Sohn! We liked her from the moment we met her on our tour of the hotel. She has a great personality and we knew that we would enjoy working with her which we did! She was extremely organized and great with her follow-ups. She was very responsive to our email correspondences. We dropped off a lot of signs/decorations 2 days prior to the reception. Rachele and her team did exactly what we asked them to (where to put what on the day of) AND they gave us back everything neatly in the boxes provided. Our wedding reception went smoothly without any problems. The service provided from the banquet team was exceptional. They ensured our needs were met. The food at the reception was as good as when we did the tasting. You hear those stories of how some venues give you a great tasting but then the food turns out less than spectacular at the actual event. I can honestly say that the quality of the food at the Hilton is top notch. Nothing was overcooked/undercooked. We loved not having to do any set up or clean up whatsoever. Our complementary Junior Suite on the night of the wedding was great as well. If you are looking for an indoor wedding venue, I would highly recommend the Hilton Harrisburg.

Everyone says your wedding day goes by in the blink of an eye, but I can honestly say ours did not! I did not have to do a thing the day of the wedding. The Hilton was so efficient, organized, prompt, and professional. The food was absolutely outstanding and the accommodations were as well. We had our rehearsal dinner at 1700 Steak house, which I'd also highly recommend. It was private, excellent service, and the food was outstanding as well. Overall I couldn't imagine our wedding day anywhere else!

The Hilton provided the perfect wedding cocktail hour and reception! Rachele was always responsive to our needs and helped coordinate an "Event" that many of our guests said was the best they had ever been to...and we concur! The food was beyond 5-Star! I've heard that some venues give you a wonderful tasting, but then the food for the reception is not as good. I can tell you, the food was even better, and a grand slam for us and our guests! The room was set up perfectly, with a large dance floor for everyone to enjoy. The service was excellent from all those that served us...they helped make it even more special for us. The Hilton Harrisburg is the perfect place for your wedding event, especially if you have a lot of out of town guests like we did.

The Hilton met all of our expectations during our wedding journey. The wedding coordinator was amazing and extremely helpful. During our wedding weekend, the staff went above and beyond to create our perfect wedding! We would recommend the Hilton to anyone who is looking to plan their big day!

We had an amazing experience with Rachele at the Hilton Harrisburg during the entire wedding planning process. We live about 1.5 hours from Harrisburg and Rachele was very accommodating to our busy/out of the area schedules. She was very organized during our phone calls and meetings and answered all of our questions to put our minds at ease. She also provided us with all of our options so that we were getting the best prices for the experiences we wanted to provide to our guests. On the day of the wedding Rachele was available for anything we needed. She was only person able to bustle my dress as well :) Overall it was a fantastic experience for such an important day in our lives!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Hilton recently, and it was beyond our expectations! We had a larger wedding with 170 total in attendance, and this was the best venue we could have chosen. Most of our guests came in from out of town and were able to easily book a great group rate for their rooms. They all loved that once they checked in, there was no travel involved, as everything was on site. We also loved that, because we didn't have to worry about transportation or providing additional directions to our guests. Rachele made the planning process and execution so easy, as we provided our decorations, but the Hilton staff set everything up and tore it down. Our guests all told us that we had a beautiful ceremony, and the reception was so much fun. The food was excellent, and we got many compliments on that from our guests as well. The ease in planning and quality of services were well worth the price. We did price out other venues before choosing the Hilton, and taking into account all of the "extras," including additional legwork that we would have had to put in, some of the venues that might have had a cheaper sticker price would have definitely ended up costing us more in the long run. We are so glad we chose the Hilton, and wouldn't have changed a single thing about our day!

Working with Rachele and the Hilton staff was great! Our wedding reception was perfect and even exceeded what we imagined it would be. Definitely would choose the Hilton Harrisburg again and highly recommend!

We could not have been happier with our decision to have our bridal shower, wedding and post-wedding brunch at the Hilton in Harrisburg! The venue was beautiful, the staff was friendly and always accommodating, and Rachele (our wedding coordinator) made everything so easy as stress free. We are so pleased with everything and highly recommend this venue!

My husband and I loved working with Rachele and the entire team at the Harrisburg Hilton. From the moment we walked in to first visit the location we were treated like royalty. Rachele is responsive, energetic and super sweet. She has so many amazing ideas and has an amazing eye for design. I simply gave her a few inspirational photos and she took off with ideas from them. In the end, our ballroom was so beautiful and was beyond what I could have even imagined. I got multiple compliments on the decor, food and atmosphere. It truly was the best decision to have our wedding reception there! I wouldn’t change a thing and would highly recommend it to anyone!

Where to even begin.. Our wedding at the Hilton Harrisburg in July was AMAZING!!! From the time we met with the coordinator, Rachele Sohn, last fall to following up with her after the big day, she has been an ABSOLUTE JOY to work with!! She has been there for my husband and I every step of the way during wedding planning. From helping us decide on what appetizers and entrees to serve at the reception to giving us recommendations on vendors (cake, DJ, etc.)and invitation wording to helping us plan out our wedding day timeline to making sure our hotel room block did not sell out too quickly, Rachele made sure no detail, no matter how small, went overlooked. We met with her multiple times throughout planning and she walked us through every detail and decision of our reception to ensure that it was absolutely perfect. She was very prompt whenever you needed to reach her via email or phone. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, I was worry-free because I knew that she (and the vendors that she had recommended) were taking care of everything and that our wedding day was in great hands. On the day of our wedding, it was great knowing that my family, bridal party, and I could relax 100% and focus on the day itself! At the reception, everything was spectacular and really just PERFECT. The food was amazing (we made sure to sit and eat as we were NOT missing out on that awesome food!) and we received so many compliments from our friends and family on the food and the service. There were numerous attendants present in the cocktail hour area and the reception ballroom making sure that we and our guests were well taken care of! We hosted a breakfast the next day for our wedding party and our parents and the food and staff were awesome as well! Rachele and the staff at the Hilton Harrisburg really went above and beyond to make sure that my husband and I had the wedding of our dreams. I 100% recommend the Hilton Harrisburg to anyone looking for an amazing reception!

The advice I would give to a couple is do your research and book early after you have decided what you want from the venue/hotel you are interested in.
Its important to build a relationship with your vendors so you both understand your vision for the event.

My daughter had her wedding at a venue close to the Harrisburg Hilton. 95% of the wedding guests stayed at the hotel for the wedding. The service and staff were excellent. We had a get together after the wedding in the hotel's restaurant/bar, they were so nice to stay open late for my guests. We also had a breakfast the next morning that was superb. The event manager I dealt with for a year and half was wonderful, so helpful and always got back to me immediately. Couldn't been happier with hotel.

Wonderful experience overall. We had a lot of family coming in from out of town, and it made it so easy that everyone could stay in one place. Rachele walked us through everything, and even kept my dad, who lived quite far away at the time, in the loop. My family had a wonderful time. We felt like the only thing we needed to worry about was having a good time -no set up, no clean up, just lots of fun. Thank you!

This is a great venue for a fair price. We got everything we wanted and more. If you have no idea what you want/feel overwhelmed, Rachele will guide you through this process. We hosted a rehearsal dinner, wedding, and Sunday brunch here, and it all went smoothly. My family didn't feel like we were rushed out, we didn't feel like we really had to do anything but have a great time!

We absolutely loved the Hilton venue!!! We didn't want to have to drive around between hotel rooms and the reception, we had many out of town guests and we made a great week end all together at the Hilton. We were given a complimentary suite as the bride and groom and our guests all had a very discounted room rate. Rachele was the BEST to work with, she took care of all the details for us and made a sometimes overwhelming planning event much easier!
The wait staff was excellent, very attentive. I can't say enough about the quality of food. We did a tasting and it was hard to pick as we loved all the choices. Our guests are still talking about how good the food was.
We hosted a breakfast buffet the next morning in one of the smaller banquet rooms and were very impressed once again with the food and the service.
All the staff at the Hilton went over and above to make us feel welcome and special on our wedding week end.
We used the pool which was so relaxing! We ate at the Ad Lib downstairs one morning for breakfast and later for lunch with some of our family. We loved the ease of parking as the garage was free for all our wedding guests. The valet parking was also used by many of us, so easy. We used the hotel transportation to attend mass Sunday morning, all our needs were taken care of!

The Hilton Harrisburg is the best place to host your wedding, hands down. The food and service were fantastic. The staff executed every little detail we had and handled those out of the blue requests we didn't even plan for. Rachele, the wedding planner at the hotel, has a unbelievable gift. Upon our first meeting, she was able to take our vision, (My wifes pinterest page) and lay out exactly what we had hoped for. She made all the right moves, from table lay-out, to specialty linen, to the odd and end decor we found and brought in along the way. She made everything look tremendous. If you book your wedding here, you will not have to worry about thing, you will be in the best of hands!

Wow, where do I begin? Rachele has been nothing short of a miracle since first meeting her. She made sure that all of our wishes for our reception came to life and where we struggled with what to do, she always had wonderful and creative ideas to guide us along. She was always organized and on the ball; we never felt slighted or like "just another couple". She welcomed us with open arms and went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was a night we will never forget.
As for the rest of the Hilton staff, they were just as spectacular! Our food for our rehearsal dinner buffet, the reception plated meals, and breakfast the morning after, was top notch.
I recommend the Hilton and Rachele to anyone looking for a personalized and magical wedding. You will not be disappointed.

I can't say enough about how great the Hilton Harrisburg and Rachele were in planning for our wedding and on the wedding weekend! We got married in the area and used the Hilton Harrisburg as the hotel for the wedding party and all of our guests (we had a lot of out of town guests). Leading up to the event, Rachele was so responsive, accommodating, and a pleasure to work with. She addressed all of our concerns. On the wedding weekend everything was flawless. All the rooms were ready, the gifts bags were properly handed out, and the breakfast the next day was excellent. A special shout out to the staff at the breakfast - they were excellent! All of our guests commented on how nice the hotel and the hotel staff were.

The Hilton Harrisburg is the perfect venue for a Central PA wedding! The staff is incredible, and the quality that you'll receive is second to none. We had a fantastic experience and our guests all enjoyed getting to eat & stay overnight in one great and convenient location. We can't say enough great things about everyone at the Hilton Harrisburg, and happily recommend this venue for a special event or wedding.

Rachele Sohn and the rest of the staff at the Hilton were wonderful to work with from beginning to end for our wedding ceremony and reception! We were lucky enough to be the first group to experience their renovated ballrooms (which are absolutely gorgeous)! We even took advantage of one of their post wedding brunch options. All of the food was phenomenal! We will definitely be recommending this venue to other people!

We worked with Kim and the Hilton Harrisburg staff to arrange a hotel room block and our overnight stay in the Executive Parlor room for our wedding weekend. I have never been so thrilled with customer service from a hotel before...everyone was so kind, accommodating, and made the whole weekend a total blast and incredible memory for my husband and I. I especially want to commend Kim Deline on her expertise and professionalism. We would absolutely recommend the Hilton for weddings and room blocks! It was such a romantic place to stay on the evening of our wedding!

Kim and her team at the Hilton were incredible! From start to finish, every detail was taken care of flawlessly. Wedding planning can be tedious and overwhelming, but they really help to organize and plan with you. The day of the reception we couldn't believe how attentive the staff was to ensure every guest was taken care of and that the entire evening went smoothly. All of our guests mentioned how great the food was (just make sure you are confirmed with current food and beverage pricing at the time of booking). I would absolutely recommend them to anyone!

We recently had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Hilton Harrisburg. Everything was lovely in terms of accommodations and arrangements, but they really went above and beyond in terms of service. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful, and they went out of their way to make us and our guests comfortable. The bridal suite was amazing with stunning views (great for pictures), they sent up food for us and our parents to eat prior to the wedding, and even sent dinner up to our room at midnight as the staff notice that my husband and I didn't get to eat. We had multiple guests comment on how friendly everyone at the hotel was.

Kim was a delight to work with during the planning phase. She was so helpful and did everything she could to make every one of our requests possible. She is so accommodating and always went the extra mile to help us. Even our wedding planner told us how lucky we were to have such a great event coordinator at our venue! The Hilton also provided a majority of our cocktail hour food (we had an outside caterer for dinner as we served Indian food) and they did our cake which were all great! We are very happy with our decision to pick the Hilton as our venue!

Kim was the person we dealt with while planning our wedding. She was FABULOUS and truly the reason we booked with Hilton Harrisburg for our wedding. She was excited for us and acted like family! She helped us every step of the way and met with us several times through the planning process. Anything we needed she made herself available and answered all emails or calls promptly. She was so sweet. She made our day absolutely WONDERFUL. A true fairytale it was. Not one snag in the day!! She was great!! I Am s glad we had our special day spent with the folks at the Hilton in Harrisburg. It is a weekend myself my husband and our family will never forget!

We had our wedding and wedding night at this hotel. It was beautiful. The staff is amazing and helpful. The food was great!

Everything was perfect down to little details, including a waitress standing outside the ceremony with champagne for the wedding party, a room during cocktail hour for the wedding party after photographs with food and champagne, and a beautifully decorated reception ballroom. Rachele Sohn (Hilton) made sure it was perfect, elegant, and amazing!! I would use the Hilton again as it’s facilities are top notch, and Rachele Sohn for planning and coordinating everything there!!

My husband and I used the Hilton as our hotel block for our downtown Harrisburg wedding. Everything was amazing!! Rachele is an absolute joy to work with, she was always quick to respond to emails and continually added rooms to get my entire guest list covered. The hotel is gorgeous and the food is top notch. My guests are still talking about what a great experience they had staying there. My husband and I spent our wedding night and the next night in one of the junior suites and it was incredible. Can't reccomended booking with anyone else!

We actually hosted our dinner in the restaurant. We rented it for the evening for forty I think! Delicious! They helped me create the exact menu I wanted.

We were so happy with our experience at the Hilton Harrisburg. Everything was done meticulously, from the decor to the food (which was especially wonderful). Using the wedding planning services made things very easy, our planner was helpful and executed the day perfectly.

We used the Hilton for our room block and morning-after brunch for our Labor Day weekend wedding. Rachele was amazing, so helpful with everything and very responsive. It was the perfect place to stay, and amazingly located!!

We had a great experience at the Hilton, and our reception was wonderful! I cannot say enough about George and his staff. From the planning to the day of, they were nothing but helpful and extremely professional. Food was fantastic, set up was exactly how we wanted, suite was very nice, and staff were extremely responsive throughout the entire reception. Our guests who stayed there overnight commented on how well they were treated by staff as well. My two (minor) issues with the site were the response time in the beginning of planning (sometimes it took a few days to get a response, but I always did and it was always helpful) and the bar prices. We ended up going with a consumption bar which was less expensive than the per person price, yet still pretty steep. We had asked for some of the higher end liquors to be on hand if requested, but for the middle range (not well) to be used for anyone who just requested a generic drink. Unfortunately, all of the premium liquors were on top of the bar as a choice, so I think that hiked our prices a little. In the grand scheme of things, not a big deal as everything else was really so great...we didn't have to worry about anything!

Hilton Hotel was a dream come true. The ballroom, where my reception took place, was beautiful. It had large chandeliers, which made for perfect lighting, Modern style (not old-fashion), delicious food, and great size. I had about 300 people invited to my wedding, so it was the perfect size for that amount of guests. People there were extra nice. Didn't have any problems with anybody. I had a big Greek wedding and we like to party. We wanted a venue that would let us stay till late and Hilton accommodated us very well with that. Thank you HILTON!

The Hilton Harrisburg is an amazing venue and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an awesome ceremony and reception site.They offer a fantastic high class service and we really enjoyed our self and didn't have to worry about anything.The wedding planning services that they offer is top notch.Everybody enjoyed themselves while staying in the Hilton.

There were a BUNCH of hotels around our venue. The Hilton was not the cheapest, but it was definitely the nicest. As long as you guarantee a decent number of rooms (we reserved 30 to start) they are willing to work with you. We narrowed it down to this hotel and the hotel next door (Crowne) and although the Crowne had a better price and gave us a little more, we ended up going with the Hilton based on comfort. Most of the time our event planner was on top of responses (within the day) which is convenient. We hosted our guests here for the night of the wedding and for our brunch the next day. So, as a recap...we were happy with our hotel decision!
