The most perfect setting and wedding experience!

Hilltop House was the perfect venue for our October wedding! The scenery is beautiful and the setup of the house is perfect for guests to mingle, eat, dance, wherever! The staff and our wedding planner were particularly helpful in making all of our wedding dreams come true! We could not have been more pleased with our experience!

    Your own private estate

The venue was simply taken out of a storybook. Whether you choose to use the secret garden out front or the open vista backyard you are truly in for a treat. This is a diamond well hidden, your own house with the added treat of having enough space set aside for the groom to get ready in as well. No excuses for him being late here. The care and love that has been put into here you can see and as Deb Diehl took me around I could truly feel this would be MY wedding and for that day MY house. A Perfect Setting indeed for those who take the opportunity to reach out and grab it. I certainly recommend the location and Perfect Setting before the rush hits for such a gem in the Devon area. The pictures most certainly do not encompass this wonderful venue.

Sandy at Hilltop House was wonderful! He was always quick to return a phone if he happened to
not be available right away, let us come multiple times to plan decorations, bring in vendors, etc. to help make day-of set up a breeze. The big old mansion house & grounds around it are beautiful! We had our ceremony in the front garden despite the rainy day & had a bagpiper playing! Big covered(!) back porch allowed for us to have the reception outside. Lovely staircase inside & giant tree outside for photo ops. Very nice, big kitchen for ur caterer of choice (check out Mcfaddens based in NJ). Playground & walking path in surrounding park to help occupy energetic kids. Many options nearby for hotels, salons, & rehersal dinner locations (check out Black Powder Tavern).

Hilltop House is a house that was willed to the Township and recently re-done to be a unique event venue. The house itself is a blank canvas - you can truly transform it into your ideal event space and once I saw the garden, which we used for our Ceremony, I knew I wanted to be married there.

We worked with Sandy, who runs the property. He was always very flexible to let you stop by the place, would call you when other weddings were getting set up so you could stop by for some inspiration and I couldn't be happier with the service.

Also, if you're a resident of the township the rental fee is a bit lower!

It's a beautiful, unique and picturesque space where I felt very lucky to say my "I Do's."

    Sandy, you're the best!!!! :)

We absolutely LOVED this place! It was gorgeous! We wanted something different than your typical reception hall. Hilltop House is a converted 200 year old farmhouse/mansion that sits on twenty some acres of land. The view is incredible. Every room in the house is beautiful (and there's a gorgeous staircase that winds down). Hilltop has a great terrace that overlooks the view of rolling hills. We were able to set some tables our there, as well as a bar and our crudités and fruit display. Our guests loved it. Many of our guests spent time out there enjoying drinks and the view.
Our caterer found it easy to set up. We had buffet stations and they fit perfectly in the big garden room. Our DJ set up in the front/main room and we had our desserts in the library room. Our guests were seated in the Great Room, which was perfect for the amount of people we had. Everything looked amazing. With a place like Hilltop, you have some flexibility with how you want the place to look. We even brought framed pictures of us and set them up in various spots (above the mantles on the fireplaces, shelves, etc). EVERYONE commented on how beautiful the place was. We HIGHLY recommend it to anyone looking to get away from the usual. And best of all... Sandy is great. He was flexible with us and allowed us to come and visit multiple times to make sure we knew where we wanted to put things, set up, etc. I think I may have called him 20 times easily. Thanks for everything Sandy - you made it easy and fun. :)
