My wife and I wanted to do a destination wedding on the beach in Costa Rica. We started planning in Feb 2021 for a Dec 2021 wedding. As you can imagine planning an out of country wedding during Covid was definitely not the easiest thing to do but we were referred to Heidy by one of the locations we were considering. We set up a meeting with her and within the first 5 minutes of the zoom call we knew we had to work with her.
We ended up having a beautiful 100 person Indian/America ceremony on the beach in Guanacaste. Heidy helped us for the entire process and we didn't even visit the location until the week of the wedding. She is extremely organized and helped keep us on track for everything we needed to do. She never pushed us towards any decisions and brought to life the vision for our wedding.
We really can't say enough good things about her. She is amazing, always cool under pressure, extremely responsive, and her passion for her job really comes through. Above all else though Heidy is such a truly wonderful person who we now consider a friend. We truly can not thank you enough for everything you did Heidy. We will never forget our wedding weekend and so much of that we owe to you! -

We could not have had a more amazing experience with Heidy. My husband and I are very busy professionals. Heidy was patient and organized with us. She guided us through the whole experience and created a wedding of our DREAMS. Heidy is like family now. She was always available, in a wonderful mood, and a pleasure to chat with. My wife, Vel, and I interviewed multiple wedding planners through WhatsApp before deciding on Heidy because of her thorough experience, and we just clicked. She helped ease the stress of planning, especially for Vel. She connected us with every vendor we hired and had multiple options for each vendor. Her assistant, David, had great energy and earned every penny the day of our wedding. I got locked out of my room as Vel was getting ready and forgot to gather my outfit and accessories, so I had to instruct him on where everything was in my suitcase. He got everything without a problem. Heidy was no-nonsense on our wedding day, and Vel & I loved it! We had a tight schedule to get everything done, and she ensured we didn't get sidetracked, which can very easily happen on your wedding day while entertaining guests. We constantly communicated with her throughout the process, and she even drove us to scout the different locations when we visited in August of 2023. Vel & I highly recommend Heidy & her team for those couples looking to get married in Costa Rica! -

Susan and I were utterly overcome by Las Catalinas’ beauty, nestled along Costa Rica's picturesque Guanacaste coastline. It was, for us, a beacon of natural splendor and architectural charm. With its harmonious fusion of verdant landscapes and vibrant coastal vistas, we were enchanted with the beaches, azure waters, and surrounding lush tropical forests. We loved the tranquility of the town, with its cobblestone streets winding their way through a tapestry of colorful buildings. It evoked for us a sense of timelessness and close community.
Your attention to detail ensured every aspect of Christina’s and Devin’s wedding ceremony exceeded our expectations. From the breathtaking ceremony overlooking the ocean to the unforgettable reception under the stars, every moment was flawlessly executed. Your expertise and guidance were invaluable, and we felt confident and comfortable in your capable hands every step of the way. Moreover, your warmth and genuine care for our family's happiness made the entire experience even more memorable. Your kindness and patience in accommodating our requests and addressing any concerns truly touched our hearts.
Christina’s and Devin’s wedding was more beautiful and magical than we ever could have imagined, and we owe it all to you. Your passion for your work shines through in everything you do, and it's clear that you pour your heart and soul into making dreams come true. Choosing Heidy as our wedding planner was the best wedding planning decision we made! She made our wedding weekend the best weekend of our lives and we will eternally be grateful to her and her team! We loved her warm positive energy from the first Zoom call we had with her and knew we made the right choice when we met her in person. We travelled to Costa Rica twice leading up to our wedding and Heidy met with us both times and even arranged transportation for us and drove us to check out different venues. We didn't really have a vision for our wedding but she had the best ideas and suggestions and designed the most beautiful perfect wedding for us. Her vendor suggestions were perfect and she was very responsive via email during the whole process. Wedding planning can be stressful but we felt calm and at ease most of the time because of Heidy's expertise and positivity! Our guests said that our wedding was the best wedding they've ever been to and it's all thanks to Heidy! The entire weekend was seamless and we were able to enjoy every minute. I highly recommend Heidy to anyone planning a wedding in Costa Rica! -

Heidy saved us! We were originally going to go with a hotel wedding package and work with the planner provided by the hotel. Turned out the hotel planner took forever to respond to our emails, had very limited options, and later found out it would have been more expensive in the long run. We had a very limited budget and we were hesitant about hiring an outside planner, but I must say it was the best decision we could have made! Thank goodness Heidy was available! She asked me to create a Pinterest page of my dream wedding, and she literally made it come true with our small budget! Her communication is above and beyond, and she has an assistant David who helps her out as well! We 1000% recommend Heidy if you’re thinking of having a destination wedding on Costa Rica. Our wedding was the best day of our lives and we owe it all to Heidy & David! -

We’d be lost without her
Heidy is amazing! We were planning our wedding from Australia so you can imagine the time zones being difficult, but Heidy was so accommodating and responsive. She took so much stress off our shoulders with her knowledge of the area, the best vendors, accommodation, misc recommendations… the list goes on! She executed on our vision perfectly and it truly was the best day of our lives. David was also so lovely to work with on the day. Thanks so much you two! -

The BEST decision you'll make!!
If I could give Heidy and her team 100 stars I would! Words cannot describe how absolutely amazing they made this experience for me. They were there holding my hand every step of the way and I'm forever grateful for their support during the planning process and wedding day. Heidy made sure that I had the BEST vendors and a completely stress-free experience. My family and friends were also in awe of everything that her and her team did to make everything so special. It's not easy to make a destination wedding of 75 people go off without a hitch, but she did it! The day of my wedding, I was able to relax and know that everything was in good hands with Heidy. She is truly the best and you will be SO happy you made the decision to have her as your wedding planner!! -

We met Heidy back in April 2021 (freshly off the year of COVID) and started our 2-year journey of planning our DREAM Destination wedding in Costa Rica for February 2023. First and foremost, Heidy’s professionalism and communication skills were exceptional. From the moment we reached out to her, she was always ready to answer our numerous questions and provide a list of amazing vendors to meet our needs. Being located in Dallas, we were able to schedule multiple face time calls and review options over email. She took the time to understand our vision for the wedding and translated it into a memorable event that exceeded our expectations.
Heidy has such a keen eye for design and amazing relationships with local vendors. From the tropical floral arrangements to the exquisite table settings and ambient lighting, she created a stunning atmosphere that perfectly captured our desired theme for our special day.
On the day of our wedding, we were blown away by the flawless execution and coordination of every element. From our Welcome Happy Hour at the Resort, Rehearsal, and Wedding Day, Heidy and her team ensured that everything ran smoothly, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy our special moments with family and friends. Hiring Heidy was the best decision I made!
Heidy was exceptional! Our wedding exceeded all expectations (according to not only us but our guests). Even if the budget was relatively restrictive, Heidy was able to bring our vision to life without compromising on quality. She took care of the design and style by only looking at my Pinterest board. Moreover, she has remarkable negotiation skills, and with her deep knowledge of the Costa Rican wedding industry, she was able to lower our open bar bill (with a venue that I chose even before hiring her). We could stay within our budget while still enjoying top-notch services.
On top of that, working with Heidy was a pleasure from beginning to end. Her warm and approachable personality made communication effortless, and she always valued our input. Everything turned out perfectly on the wedding day, and if there were crises, I never heard of them because of her. I was even able to do a yoga class, get drinks with my friends and relax before the wedding because I knew she was taking care of the setup. -

Heidy helped us plan a destination wedding for ~100 people in Tamarindo. While daunting, she made this easy, fun and the wedding of our dreams. Her design skills are amazing and she has access to the best vendors in the area. I never thought I could have such a large destination wedding with such little stress. Beyond her work ethic, design, taste, timeliness and accountability, Heidy is a wonderful human. We so enjoyed getting to know her and becoming friends and I know that we will stay in touch going forward. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to get married in Costa Rica. -

Above and Beyond!!
Heidy planned our Costa Rica wedding from beginning to end all the way from Costa Rica while we were in the states. Heidy was easy to communicate with, fun to work with, attentive, and very detailed. It’s hard to put into words what an exceptional wedding planner (and person) Heidy Quesada is. I showed her just a few photos of what we wanted for our special day and on December 3, 2022 she created the most beautiful day of my life. It literally brings me to tears just thinking about how special she is. The attention to detail was mind-blowing- not a single detail was missed- it was almost as if she could read my mind. She helped with every single detail including the menu, flowers, DJ, decor, favors, signs, contracts, transportation (with endless schedule changes with flights etc.) and the list goes on and on. I feel like she is an angel sent from the wedding heavens to make brides and grooms dreams come to a perfect reality. I always felt heard and felt like I was a priory with Heidy which is incredible considering she is the most wanted wedding planner in Costa Rica and we got married at the height of the wedding season. On a personal note I live in Costa Rica I had the privilege of spending some person time with Heidy and I can attest she is just a pure, wonderful, kind and generous woman- she will forever have a place in my heart. Thank you Heidy for every single you did for us. And even with all of this I still feel like i'm not giving true justice to how wonderful she is. Book her without hesitation. We absolutely loved having Heidy as our wedding planner for our destination wedding in Costa Rica.
