I don’t even know where to begin with Tracey. We were introduced to her under unexpected circumstances when our original planner had to step down due to illness. At the time, Tracey herself was on a break from wedding planning to care for her sweet young daughter, yet she still stepped in for us without hesitation. That alone tells you the kind of person she is.
Tracey joined us halfway through the planning process, but by wedding weekend, you would never have known. She seamlessly picked everything up and led our entire weekend with confidence, grace, and so much heart. She was endlessly kind, incredibly patient, and truly the queen of details and logistics, always thinking five steps ahead so we never had to. Because of her, we were able to be fully present and enjoy every moment.
Beyond the big picture, it was the small things that meant everything. She handled every question from our family members so we didn’t have to. She had extra powder in her purse to touch up my makeup. When my dress strap broke, she fixed it on the spot and shared the sweetest story that the same thing happened at her own wedding. These moments went far beyond her job description and showed just how deeply she cares.
She also has the most wonderful team supporting her, and together they made our wedding weekend feel effortless. I feel incredibly lucky that of all people who could have stepped in to take over our wedding, it was Tracey. She is truly exceptional, and any couple would be so lucky to have her by their side. I could go on and on, but simply put, she is amazing. -

I didn’t think I needed a wedding planner, but I am so happy I chose Tracey and her team Heart Melting Events! From my first conversations with Tracey it was clear that she wanted to capture exactly how we envisioned our wedding day. She helped make that vision come to life and with minimal stress. When we met with her one month before the wedding day she was very detail oriented, and we were able to hand off all remaining details leading up to the wedding. She has great communication, very timely responses, and dealt with all of our vendors professionally. This helped us have a great experience because there was much less that we needed to worry about and could focus on each other and the time with our family and friends.
The wedding day went off without a hitch, and we owe that to Tracey and her team. With all of the staff that she brings, every detail is taken care of. All of my family commented how nice it was to have someone there with us checking in and making sure everything went smoothly. Our vendors even commented how great it was to work with her and how she helped make their experience stress-free as well. I couldn’t recommend Tracey and her team enough, beyond her talents as a wedding planner she’s a truly great person as well.
No matter how good you may be at planning events, you definitely want a wedding planner to help you feel relaxed and carefree on your big day. You will not regret hiring Tracey and Heart Melting Events for the best experience you could possibly have! -

Where do I even begin... there are SO many amazing things to say about Tracey and her team!!! My experience with Heart Melting Events was positive from the beginning to the end. Leading up to the wedding, Tracey was happy to help in any way she could, whether it was providing a list of vendors, giving helpful/honest advice or answering any small questions I had along the way. After our in-person meeting a few months before the wedding, I left feeling totally at peace knowing that my wedding day was in GREAT hands. When it came to the actual wedding day, Tracey and her team were gracious and professional. What struck me the most was how many compliments I got from family and friends about Tracey and her team. My guests expressed how kind and helpful they were all day long. Tracey is more than a wedding planner, she is a true friend. She makes sure to take care of everything, so that you can actually enjoy your day!
Every little concern we had was taken care of. My groom and I kept hearing about people not eating on their special day and we mentioned to Tracey that we really wanted to enjoy our meal (because duh!) and not get interrupted to the point where we could not eat. She actually stationed one of her team members nearby in case any guests needed to be politely redirected! Tell me that is not the dream team!!

I hired Heart Melting Events for my wedding a couple weeks ago. They were nothing short of miracle workers. Tracey was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process. She was fun, personable, professional, and organized all at the same time. The dream honestly. Her and her team had us run through the rehearsal the day before and they were so good at getting everyone's attention but making it a really fun and easy process. The day of the wedding Tracey and her team absolutely hit it out of the park. Everything went SO SMOOTH and was timed so perfectly, my husband and I were actually able to enjoy every minute of our wedding. Even when a guest dropped a beer bottle that broke on the dance floor their team came zooming over within seconds to clean it up. They even did a little dance with the guests while mopping up the last of the mess because they are just that next level. At the end of the night, before I even noticed, they had packed up all the décor and had gotten everything all buttoned up for us, like little wedding fairies. I would hire Tracey and her team a million times over and I will be referring them to all my engaged friends. Thank you so much Tracey for making our wedding dreams come true and being an absolute pleasure and joy to work with! -

My fellow brides and grooms, do yourselves a favor and hire Heart Melting Events! Lacey was our coordinator who jumped in and helped our original coordinator when she needed to step back for maternity leave. Lacey is absolutely incredible! She was so positive and upbeat throughout the whole process while being so efficient! She was so on top of every detail and every last-minute concern we had. Our whole wedding ran smoothly without stress from start to finish with Lacey and her assistant Nicole running the show. She even brought me and my bridesmaids a box of my favorite donuts (our wedding dessert) to us while we were getting ready. My husband and I can’t recommend her enough and would hire her again in a heartbeat!!! -

My husband and I got married this July (2021) and were lucky enough to have Tracey as our coordinator. I have nothing but positive things to say about Tracey and her team! Tracey is simply amazing! She is a true professional and so wonderful at what she does. I decided to work with Tracey after receiving multiple high recommendations for her from other vendors. From the first call, I knew that it would be a pleasure working with her to put on my wedding. My husband and I hired Heart Melting Events to coordinate our wedding, however Tracey went above and beyond day-of coordinating and completely blew my expectations away. In the months leading up to our wedding, Tracey helped us stay organized, on top of timelines, gave helpful recommendations on vendors, she also helped us secure a new venue, just three months before our wedding. If I wasn’t impressed enough with her in the months leading up to the wedding, when the day finally came, I was able to enjoy the day without a worry in the world! She handled scheduling arrivals, set-up, night of clean up, and overall event management. She coordinated and organized all vendors and made sure that the day was seamless. Tracey is sweet, easy to work with, extremely organized, an expert in her industry and in my opinion the best! Not only is this my opinion, but many family members and friends have reached out to me and complemented Tracey and her team. If you are having a wedding or special event in SLO County, Tracey is your girl! -

Tracey and her team did such an AMAZING job!!! We are so incredibly thankful we found them! Like many couples, we had to postpone due to COVID. Ultimately we ended up completely changing our reception location and downsizing our wedding so we basically started at square one for the reception. Tracey helped us bring our vision to life in just a few short MONTHS!! On the day of, it was absolutely perfect. Even though we had some small hiccups that pushed back the timeline of things, Tracey and her team truly made the day perfect and everything still worked out so smoothly you wouldn’t have even known there were hiccups (due to transportation being late)!! We are forever grateful of how amazing Tracey and her team is, they are people you want to be best friends with in real life!! We cannot thank her and Heart Melting Events enough for helping make our day so magical. They allowed us to only focus on each other and soak in every moment of our wedding day, and not stress about anything at all. That’s the type of planner you want to have on your wedding day and we feel so incredibly lucky to have found them ❤️❤️ -

Best in the Business
Wow where to even begin with how amazing Tracey and the whole Heart Melting Team truly is. My wife and I got engaged in late 2018 and had our sights on a wedding date in August of 2019. We met Tracey shortly after setting a date and from day one, we felt like she was there for us in every way imaginable. From big overarching questions to small details Tracey was always a listener first, never injecting what she might want in a wedding, but every response and every decision her team made was in response to what we were looking for, something really special in a coordinator.
In January of 2019, we learned that one of our immediate family members was having a baby, and her due date was the same day as our wedding weekend! We were unsure of what to do since it was going to inevitably split of the family to some degree given the two momentous occasions. We brought the idea to Tracey of postponing the wedding to May of 2020. She was not only understanding and supportive, but incredibly helpful in coordinating with the vendors and helping us secure the new date.
Well as life would have it, the world was hit with this devastating pandemic in 2020 and it became quickly obvious that a wedding in May of 2020 was out of the question. Once again, Tracey was supportive and instrumental in helping us postpone this wedding once more to May of 2021. She was always there as a wedding planner, but even more she was there for us emotionally through this rollercoaster of planning and always made us feel excited for the big event, no matter when it will happen.
And Finally, May 1st 2021, we had our wedding at the Higuera Ranch in San Luis Obispo. It was a near four day event from Thursday through Sunday and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful weekend. Tracey and her team showed up in full force. My wife and I did not feel an ounce of stress or strain the entire day as any surprises that came up (as they always will) seemed to already have been taken care of by Tracey and team before we even knew about them.
One very special moment and just an example of how great HME really is - we had planned all of our events to be outside due to COVID, despite almost everyone being vaccinated at this point. It was a 70 degree plus day so the ceremony and dinner were amazing outside, but as the sun went down and the clouds came in, it got very very cold quickly. We were nervous that this would affect our dance party if people were too cold to enjoy themselves. Knowing this, Tracey worked with my groomsmen to move the entire party inside seamlessly, without us having to worry about at thing. It was totally worth it as we all danced the night away in the barn for hours and hours.
Not only is Tracey the best in the business, she’s an amazing person plain and simple. We know how seriously she takes her job and put her clients needs far before her own. If you want to have an amazing wedding and make the experience planning for your event just as memorable, all you have to do is hire the Heart Melting Events team!
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for everything Tracey. We and our guests will remember our wedding weekend for the rest of our lives! -

I had the pleasure of assisting Tracey with her 9/21/20 wedding, and let me just say, this was probably one of the best experiences in the wedding industry I've ever had! Tracey and I are both members of SLO Wedding Planners, and we all try to help each other out and assist with each other's weddings whenever possible. Needless to say, we have all experienced A LOT of weddings. This wedding was beautifully designed (seriously, it was GORGEOUS), professionally planned with quality vendors, and coordinated seamlessly. The execution of this wedding was FLAWLESS. There was no confusion because all vendors had been well-informed of the coordination details, and every aspect of the wedding had been well thought out ahead of time. Everyone involved was so relaxed and was having so much fun the entire day because Tracey had prepared 110%. She was calm, collected, positive, up-beat, and professional the entire day. We even had opportunities for breaks throughout the day, and Tracey made sure there was a table set specifically for the vendors so we could all enjoy dinner together. I will remember this wedding forever, and given the opportunity, I would assist Tracey a million more times! -

Tracey was invaluable as we planned our wedding. We would work with her again in a heartbeat! Through every step of the process, from early planning through the wedding day, she went above and beyond to make sure our wedding went just as we wanted. Tracey kept a tightly organized ship to ensure the wedding went off without a hitch (or just one very good one... which was us...getting hitched), letting us just enjoy our wedding day without needing to worry about anything. There are a lot of things that could have gone wrong that she just took care of, and a number of others she made sure were were prepared for and avoided.
Without Tracey’s help, we undoubtedly would have been lost. There’s so much to planning a wedding that you don’t fully appreciate until you get into it. Details like planning for vendor meals (and navigating vendor meal restrictions), napkin folding, etc. can feel overwhelming and nerve wracking. Tracey made it feel seamless, though. She kept us on track from a checklist that she brought to our first meeting (thank goodness), and made sure we knew everything we needed to take care of as key booking deadlines approached, which helped us navigate all of the small but necessary details.
If you’re getting married at La Cuesta Ranch, we would doubly recommend her. Tracey knows the venue like the back of her hand and has a great relationship with Gabriel the owner. If you’re getting married at La Cuesta, or truly anywhere else, she’s the person to work with!

STOP what you're doing and hire Tracey!
I was one of those brides trying to save money and originally decided I didn't need a wedding coordinator. NOTHING would have come together if it wasn't for Tracey and her team. It is HARD to plan a wedding on your own, and I am so glad I didn't have to!!!! We have had guests raving about how smoothly everything went and how beautiful everything was at our wedding and we owe it ALL to Tracey! She saved my life multiple times, and although planning a wedding is still a bit stressful, she made me feel like I could relax a bit the two months before the big day! She was the best decision we made!!! Tracey is a friend as well and she handled everything so professionally! We love Tracey! We will recommend her to everyone getting married on the Central Coast! -
