Daniel with Harmony was absolutely amazing as our “day of wedding planner”. Daniel is very organized and is able to pay attention to so many details. He is not only very organized but was extremely reassuring throughout our entire time together starting with our very first meeting. But the day of our wedding, is when I really found out how exceptional Daniel could be. Throughout the day of our wedding, he had the incredible task of taking care of so many details while still keeping an eye on me, the bride. He accomplished this amazing task which included the watchful eyes of my sisters while maintaining a calm composure, an incredible and lovely presence, and still being absolutely funny and engaging throughout the entire evening. We would also like to recognize Daniel’s assistant Heidi who was also wonderful. We cannot say enough how happy and blessed we felt to have Daniel throughout this process and he delivered his promise to us of an amazing and beautiful day that we will cherish forever. -

We worked with Paquita during our 2 year long engagement. We got the month/day of coordinator package through Harmony Weddings. Paquita was always reliable, answered all our texts and emails and went above and beyond to meet with us regularly throughout the planning process. She was always there to bounce ideas off and to give a recommendation for vendors she had worked with previously. She was always warm and friendly and made me and my fiancé feel very comfortable. The day of the wedding, even though we had some unexpected thunderstorms, she was able to execute our vision and helped facilitate all the clean up at the end of the night. Shivam and I had been together for 13 years before getting married, so we definitely felt pressure to have a flawless fusion wedding, but had no idea where to start. Aneesa and her team at Harmony Weddings brought our dreams to life for the most perfect day.
We hired Aneesa a little over a year before our wedding date, March 2023. She is so kind and energetic, that it was truly a delight to work with her. We would meet monthly which allowed us to break things down and make a huge event much more approachable. Aneesa knew every vendor we needed, from the best beauty artists, photographers, and florists to specific Indian caterers, DJs and the Maharaj. I specifically remember the day we went to pick out linens. The store was overwhelming, but she had already picked out options in our color palette, theme and price range so that the process was fun, simple and free of stress.
Perhaps the best thing Aneesa provided us was the ability for everyone to be present and enjoy the wedding. I didn’t have to look at the clock on my wedding day since I trusted Aneesa and her team to make sure things ran on time. Our bridal party and parents didn’t have to corral guests from place to place, pick up food from caterers, or clean up at the end of the night. Everyone kept telling me to expect that something would go wrong on my wedding day, but nothing ever did. Shivam and I adore Aneesa and her team at Harmony weddings. They are worth their weight in gold. If you are on the fence about hiring them, we promise that you won’t regret it!

Allison & Paquita with Harmony Weddings made my wedding day chaos free! There were so many mishaps going on, and I never knew about them until days after. They made the day seamless and easy for. The weeks leading up to the wedding Allison contacted all of my vendors and coordinated arrival times, confirmed items I had paid for. That took a lot off of my plate and it was so nice for her to manage all of my vendor contractors and coordinating with them! The owner Aneesa is probably one of the sweetest, kindest people, she is so easy to talk to and makes you feel like your wedding is priority! -

When it comes to wedding planning, getting a good planner was #1 on our list. We contacted Harmony Weddings and they connected us with Kathryne Krueger. From our first meeting, we knew Kathryne was the perfect planner for us. She was so comforting, easing all of our concerns and having an answer for every single question we threw her way. She helped us find the perfect vendors for us and made sure to keep communication lines open. She always had a solution lined up for every curveball and kept us updated enough to feel in the know but not overwhelmed. When the day came, we didn’t worry about a single thing because we knew Kathryne had our back. We couldn’t have dreamed up a better wedding planner. Harmony Weddings, and Kathryne especially, were the key to our perfect day. -

We had the absolute joy of working with Kathryne while planning our wedding! From our first meeting, we knew we had made the right choice!! We wanted to do a lot of our own planning but Kathryne was there every step of the way to answer questions and provide advice. We wanted our wedding to feel unique to us and it absolutely did. While the Harmony team provided a lot of recommendations about what is typically done and details to consider, Kathryne was fully supportive of our ideas for making our wedding unique and we never felt like we had to include an element in our wedding because someone else said we should.
There were multiple times that she asked us questions about the details of agreements with other vendors that we never would have thought of. From helping keep our contracts and timelines organized to all the month of communication with other vendors, Kathryne and the Harmony team allowed our wedding to go off without a hitch! (And if there were any wedding day hiccups, they made sure I as the bride wasn't worried about or even aware of them). Kathryne and the Harmony team were with us through the very end of the night helping pack up cars and make sure everything got returned to the right people and places. I truly don't know what we would have done without them and would hire them again in a heartbeat!!

The Harmony Team from start to finish makes you feel like family. Our lead planner was Daryl Munroe and Assistant Planner was Kathryne Krueger. This was truly the dream team. From the beginning, Daryl took the time to understand us as individuals and as a couple - which means the world to us. She quickly caught on to our love for excel and organization, but also made sure the creativity and moments we wanted were heard and included throughout the process. From planning sessions, and timelines, to all the details, and organization - she had it covered. On the day of the wedding you helped us prioritize US, which we know the whole day is about us, but eyes on us, everyone wanting to talk, take a picture, ask us to do something.... She made sure we had time together and to get included what we wanted in our day. We were hydrated and we had time to take it all in. Which it flies by!
Kathryne stepped in towards the end but it felt like you had been a part of the journey from the start. From the walkthrough to rehearsal to the wedding day she jumped right in and gave us all the confidence in the world we didn't have to worry about a thing. She went above and beyond to help get us lunch, make sure the day went so smooth and looked the best it could! You corralled our families (which can be a large task) and we couldn't be more thankful for you!
We are so grateful for this team and cant stop talking about their awesomeness. -

We are so grateful to Harmony Weddings and Events for the phenomenal effort they undertook to help us create an enchanting experience for our daughter Ishani and son in law Steve’s wedding celebration. It was a dream come true! What I loved most about it was that the entire planning journey was a joy from start to finish. (Who would have thought that the process of wedding planning could be joyful — it absolutely was!!) Aneesa is a great listener. She was able translate our vision of what we wanted into an incredible reality that we will remember forever. I especially appreciate that she understood our cultural background and the lively (and slightly unpredictable way) in which the events would unfold. What I love most about Aneesa is she is an amazing person, who cares so much about the families she works with. She and her team put their hearts and souls into our celebration, working seamlessly with all venues and vendors. MVP - Most Valuable Planner
You won't find a more dedicated wedding planner than Aneesa Glines. From our very first phone call, we knew we were in good hands. She actually joined us for a venue visit before we even hired her -- by the end of that visit, she had already texted key vendors to check availability! Her energy and dedication are truly exceptional, and honestly, a privilege to witness.
A big Indian wedding weekend was a learning experience for us as a couple, and Aneesa not only kept us positive and feeling like it was manageable, she was so well equipped to learn and incorporate new information at any time. She helped us stay organized during the planning process, and she was also a huge help when bringing together families for planning questions and coordination. When we came across obstacles (as anyone planning a wedding in 2022 surely has), Aneesa was always a text (or voice memo) away, quick to send a calming message and a series of backup options.
Absolutely everything was taken care of during our wedding weekend. We felt like VIPs. All of our guests were SO impressed with Aneesa's team's kindness, communication, and seamless coordination. The team made sure we were always taken care of, in addition to checking in on our family and friends. We owe the Harmony team so much for making our wedding weekend truly one of the best weekends of our lives. We are counting the days until someone inevitably catapults Aneesa into celebrity planner status (she would make the BEST Netflix wedding planning docu-series!) and until then, we are just grateful we had the privilege of planning our special day with her. -

Being newly engaged brings in a lot of unsolicited advice. But one of the best pieces of unsolicited advice I listed to was to hire a wedding planner. I tried searching for a while on my own and realized I was in over my head. I was recommended Harmony Weddings by my venue. After having an initial meeting with Daryl, I knew we'd be a perfect match. Their services are laid out perfectly. We went with the partial-planning option, which allowed my mother and I to be hands on as much as we wanted to in the process. Daryl led the way through many processes I stressed about, including picking out rentals, selecting catering items, and the walkthrough at the venue. She also was there to answer any of my emails and random questions I had during the year of planning. My wedding was back in April and executed flawlessly.. and if something went wrong - I still don't know about it. I highly, highly recommend Harmony Weddings and Events! -

We have no words to express how amazing Bethany was as she supported us through wedding planning and on our wedding day! From our first meeting, through all the checkins, to our actual wedding day, Bethany had an amazing calming presence that set the tone for a smooth and fun planning process. She was extremely easy to communicate with throughout the planning process and went WAY above and beyond our expectations for the Wedding Management package. Bethany was always available to help us make our final vendor decisions and we ended up with an ALL STAR team thanks to her expertise. Bethany and Sydney rocked at our rentals meeting, having incredible patience with my indecisiveness and helping us to make the necessary decisions.
On the wedding day, everything went 100% perfectly from our perspective thanks to Bethany, Hannah, and Sofia! While we had been super involved in the details leading up to the wedding, we had 100% confidence in Bethany to execute our vision because we knew she really listened to us during the planning process. On the wedding day we we were able to put all of the logistics out of our heads and just enjoy the celebration. We really appreciate the small changes they had to make in the moment without asking us, such as moving the place cards inside due to the wind. Bethany was prepared for everything, including quickly fixing my bustle in the hallway so I could get back to dancing.
The reception and ceremony were set up perfectly, better than I could have imagined! Bethany was so thoughtful and took extra time to learn about all of the Jewish rituals we did for our wedding and had everything set up perfectly for them.
Somehow Bethany, Hannah, and Sofia seemed incredibly relaxed all day, even though I know they had a ton to set up and logistics to manage. Their calm demeanor and friendly interactions with vendors and guests set the tone for a positive and stress-free wedding day! Bethany perfectly balanced keeping us moving through the day while also not rushing us through any of the pre-wedding prep or events. I never felt like I was on a schedule, but everything seemed to have perfect timing. Bethany, Sydney, Hannah, and Sofia were a joy to work with and I would highly recommend them!

Working with Aneesa and the Harmony Weddings team was simply the BEST decision we made during wedding planning. We had two ceremonies during our wedding day, one Hindu and one Christian. Trying to plan two ceremonies in one day would’ve been impossible if it wasn’t for Aneesa. If you are having an Indian wedding, or other multicultural wedding, or really any wedding in general please do yourself a favor and choose Aneesa and the Harmony Wedding team!!
The constant support, guidance, and expertise Aneesa gave us made preparing for the wedding so much easier. Aneesa and Harmony Weddings are so well connected throughout NC wedding vendors that every vendor we talked to ranted on and on about how amazing Aneesa is! She not only is a perfect planner, but is also a great friend.
Throughout the wedding planning process Aneesa was simply incredible and we don’t have the words to express how grateful we are to have had her support and friendship. -

Emma was our lead for the wedding while Aneesa assisted her, and I'm not sure if I've ever seen a duo work more seamlessly together. My biggest complaint from my wedding was that I couldn't have another one the next day, and that's because Emma was so thorough in making sure everything ran absolutely perfectly. She is professional, kind, communicative, and easy as can be. I would recommend this company to anyone getting married in the Triangle. The only reason I wouldn't recommend them is if you want your wedding to be stressful and frustrating--they took all of the stress away! -

I had the pleasure of working with the best of the best, Tara & Heidi. These ladies rock! They are the real deal. They ensured a smooth and pleasant wedding planning season from the time I contracted them 16 months prior from my wedding until now, almost a month later. Alongside my all-star vendor team that Tara helped me put together, she was such a delight with patience, professionalism and industry knowledge with connections. Heidi, likewise, such a vibrant soul with expertise in creativeness + design, giving ideas on things I didn’t think I needed. They asked questions, followed-up and even gave invitations to open-houses to check out vendors. Since I contracted for the “day-of + budget & design,” this was needed. I’ll like to think the ladies went above & beyond. Also, which is a big positive, is the ladies keeping my budget in mind, speaking up and sharing different options to make sure my day was what I imagined/pictured, I highly recommend! The day of my wedding…I’m still astonished of how seamless it ran with everything going on. Thanks again! -

We had the blessing of Aneesa's help for our dream wedding and our small covid wedding. She was a miracle worker over the two and a half years we prepped for our wedding day(s). She kept us on track, motivated, and worked to make our biggest hopes come true; All the while with a smile and a positive attitude.
When it came to the wedding day, she and Tara were all of this and more. They anticipated our needs, while orchestrating and caring for our family, friends, and vendors! Aneesa truly cares for people, and it radiates around her. Her team, clients and the community feels its impact.

We had Aneesa as our wedding coordinator for our special day this year, and she was 100% put on this earth to do what she does. Aneesa is one of the kindest, warmest, and welcoming humans I've ever met, and the biggest thing I regret is that I didn't hire her for Full Planning instead of Partial Planning (I'm a bit of a control freak who also hates planning and is still learning how to ask for help, just for a bit of context) — maybe next time :). She is 'on' all the time, listening, paying attention to every detail, even though she and her team have had probably the craziest year yet (hello 2021) — and we never once felt like just another couple/wedding to knock out. It was so lovely working with her and her team at Harmony Weddings. If you're on the fence about hiring them, just go for it!

By the time I realized I needed professional help orchestrating the chaos that is wedding planning, it was almost too late! Our wedding was just four months out and I was drowning trying to handle it all on my own. I am SO lucky Aneesa was available to help me. It’s honestly hard to put into words how much Aneesa did for me and my family. I had no idea how much emotion and stress wedding planning would bring, and Aneesa took it all on. She always knew what to say, and it’s part of the reason my day was perfect. The other part being that on my actual day, she took care of EVERYTHING. And I mean everything. I was able to spend the entire day enjoying every moment because I knew everything and everyone was exactly where and how it should be. If there were any issues, I sure never knew about it! I wish I could scream it from the rooftops how much everyone needs an Aneesa, but I suppose WeddingWire will do!! Thank you, Harmony, from the bottom of my heart, for giving me the perfect day. It was so challenging picking vendors and making big decisions on who would help make our day special. However, it only took ONE phone call with Aneesa and I knew right away I wanted her and only her to head our big day. Her positive energy, beautiful and genuine soul makes you excited and joyous because you can’t help but feed off of it. We hired her for our month of planner and she contacted vendors, created our layout, met with us at our rentals meeting, and took EVERY vision and I swear made it better than what I imagined it could be. I do not know how to begin this review without getting teary eyed (but don’t worry, if this happens to you, Kathryne has plenty of tissues that she will hand you without you even having to ask!) Wedding planning is amazingly fun but there are things that need to be navigated that truly only seasoned wedding planners can assist with and know how to handle. This was an incredibly busy year for weddings but not once did my husband and I feel like we were being annoying or asking too many questions. Kathryne actually would normally answer our questions before we even asked them. I wanted a winter, Christmas wedding filled with tons of Christmas touches and Santa making a surprise visit. We chose the wedding management package but even when we had questions that they weren’t necessarily required to assist with, they still did. Kathryne was not only my wedding planner but became a friend to us and a confidante throughout this entire experience. And when wedding day came on Sunday, she even came by my getting ready location to make sure I was okay and not in need of anything before she headed to our venue. When I got to the venue and after taking some pictures, I was escorted to the bar and the ceremony space to take a first look and Harmony held guests in the main house for us so I could have this special moment with my soon to be husband. I cried like a baby (and as usual Kathryne was right behind me with tissues). Everything from the timeline to giving tips to the vendors to fluffing my dress (so many times) to answering all questions from so many people to managing different family dynamics - Kathryne made this day a TRUE DREAM for Connor and I. At the end of the night, all of our belongings, to go plates, and pieces of our cake and my bouquet were all packed in our car without us having to touch a thing. To have Kathryne as your wedding planner, is to know joy, organization, be in the presence of a timeline genius, and just a calm but direct and organized presence throughout the day. Run - don’t walk - and hire Harmony. We had the joy of also meeting the owner Annesa, who is a true Ray of sunshine and ran our family pictures like the boss she is and another planner Tara was there as well and she was some extremely helpful. We are sad our wedding is over, but thanks to Harmony - we have the best memories of the best day of our life and we will be recommending them to every single person we know getting married. Xoxoxo -

Three months down the road, and we still cannot believe how perfect our wedding day was. Truly, perfect. So much of that is credit to Aneesa. Both Jack and I feel so fortunate that we found Harmony Weddings because it's hard to picture that day without them there. They are stunningly good at their jobs. From our initial meeting to wedding day, Aneesa was a source for any questions we had, ideas we were throwing around and just general confidence boosting as we planned a pandemic-era wedding. There wasn't a moment that day I was worried that something wasn't being completed or taken care of. Aneesa is a pro who knows weddings inside and out. We may plan an extravagant vow renewal party just so we can work with her again.

We had a great experience working with Harmony weddings with our planner, Emma. We hired her as part of their Wedding Management package and she was extremely helpful throughout the process and especially was the wedding got closer! All of the documents she provided at the outset regarding vendor recommendations, timeline to follow, and important details and tips were so, so helpful and made the process of choosing vendors and keeping up with getting things done so much easier. Emma was also a fabulous help in the final month with vendor communication and finalizing details. She took so much off my plate and it was invaluable for me! She knew what I had in mind for the day and made it happen. Having her there on my wedding day made me feel calm and I knew she would handle anything that came up. I had the pleasure of working with Harmony Weddings (specifically Sydney and Tara) for my November 2021 wedding at The Carolina Inn. Being somewhat new to the Chapel Hill/ Durham area, I didn't have much to go off of when selecting a planner so I had to rely on recommendations from other vendors, online reviews, and the body of work shared via social media. I ended up selecting Harmony Weddings because of their reputation amongst the wedding vendor community. Not only could they offer beautifully designed weddings, but they had a proven history of managing logistics like pros. From the beginning I knew that timeline, vendor management, day of logistics, and ability to alleviate undo stress from my family was the top priority and Sydney and her team delivered beyond my expectations.
Once I met Sydney in person, I knew we were going to get along and I knew she was exactly what my family and I needed to get this thing planned and off without a hitch. Her calm, cool personality meshed with ours so well. I was not the kind of little girl who dreamed about my wedding and honestly I didn't even know what details I needed to plan when the time came. We made our priorities very clear to Sydney and she honored them every step of the way. Sydney was incredibly organized, she thought of everything that I didn't, and she gave me the kind of peace that you can only pray for the week before your wedding. Our day went off without any issues (that I knew of!) and it was pure magic to watch my vision come to life. We received so many compliments on the flow and ease of our day and I know that couldn't have happened without Sydney. Most importantly, my family was able to enjoy the morning with me, get pampered in hair and makeup without concerns, and they were able to spend the reception connecting with old and new friends and family. My wedding was a dream come true and I owe it all to Sydney.
If you need a planner and are stuck between Harmony and another, I can assure you that Harmony will not disappoint. I could gush forever but I won't :) -

Working with Kathryne Krueger was like having a bonus friend and confidante through the wedding process. She attended our vendor meeting at CE rental with me, coordinated all our vendors for the day of and was great at responding to my miscellaneous questions throughout the planning process. She also knew exactly when to push me to make a decision and when to insert an opinion or piece of advice. Kathryne also served as an expert advocate when I needed help communicating with an unresponsive vendor and took the lead on following up based on her connections.
On the day of the wedding, she made sure our timeline went flawlessly which allowed me to enjoy the day while she and Trang made all the calls behind the scenes. We had about 15 vendors present that day including 3 different rental companies and Kathryne and Trang juggled them all. There’s no one I would have rather had helping me bustle my dress or make sure I got snacks and a moment of peace. Thanks for helping my vision come to life! -

My daughter lives in Chicago and wanted the wedding at The Barn of Chapel Hill. Distance plans are not an issue for Harmony Weddings! Kathryne's attention to details, warm personality, personal vender relationships, and ability to work as a team with two perfectionists allowed us to have a dream wedding experience. Kathryne always knew exactly what details and vender relationships were most important to each of us, treating all ideas with thoughtfulness and respect. Kathryne was PERFECTION! The day of the wedding my daughter and I were both able to completely disconnect from the plan, enjoy our friends and family and be completely present in every beautiful moment as it unfolded because we knew Kathryne not only had us, but truly understood how to run a flawless wedding. There is honestly not one single second or one single vender choice I would change, and that starts with our wonderful Kathryne Krueger! Just before the transition from the outdoor cocktail hour to the sit down dinner in the barn, Kathryne knew me well enough to come FIND ME, the mom, and bring me into the barn with all the glowing candles, beautiful flowers and table decor so I could soak in the vibe of my daughter's beautiful wedding reception for just a couple extraordinary, quiet moments, before it was "go time." That seemingly small act of kindness meant the world to me and centered me for the rest of the evening. Kathryne was also a confidante and supporter for my daughter throughout the planning process, stepping up to assist her with some significant officiant issues that could not have been a more amazing fit in the end! Kathryne made sure the time line ran like clock work and that my daughter just had to be the bride first! I would also like to thank Kathryne's assistant, Trang. Wedding Planning During COVID
Phew!!! We started planning my daughter’s wedding over 2 years ago! In that time, we created an event for over 200 people. We then rescheduled all of that for a year later due to COVID. We also held a small ceremony and dinner for 10 on the original wedding date. Then we re-started all the planning and details for the bigger family celebration.
WE COULD NOT HAVE DONE ALL THAT WE DID WITHOUT THE HELP OF HARMONY WEDDING AND EVENTS.
Aneesa and her staff were amazing (see review last year of intimate wedding). For the big family event this year, we worked with Daryl to help us navigate the many decisions and details required for our larger celebration. Daryl handled the coordination between the caterer, the venue, and the rental equipment company. She maintained detailed timelines to ensure all the important moments flowed easily. She managed to help the happy couple go from table to table to greet each and every person who had braved the pandemic to share this special day. Together with her assistant, Lakeshia, they added finishing touches on the actual day to include layout of escort cards, memory table pictures, guest book signing and even napkin folding. Plus, they coordinated with the transportation company for shuttling guests to/from reception, and much, much more. We were able to enjoy the day seeing family and friends because we were confident, Daryl, Lakeshia and the Harmony Wedding team would make our day all that my daughter dreamed it would be.

I worked directly with Sydney, and she made everything absolutely smooth, seamless, and stress free! She has wonderful “bedside manner” and gave FANTASTIC recommendations I would’ve never even thought of!
My own wedding was only the 2nd I’d been to as an adult, and it wasn’t until I went to another wedding a month after mine that I realized just how amazing Sydney was at keeping our wedding on time and seamless for our guests. If I could’ve, I would’ve paid them 2-3x what they charge bc they are THAT GOOD.

Aneesa from Harmony Weddings was the best decision we made for our wedding and for our lives. We had what felt like a fairy tale wedding and gained a lifelong friend. As organized and planning forward people, we thought we could manage all that comes with putting together an Indian wedding. However, we very quickly realized that we needed help given our busy work schedules. We NEVER could have imagined how dramatic a difference having an incredible wedding planner would be. We initially hired Aneesa for weekend of coordination but almost instantly moved to full service planning after understanding her added value. As an Indian couple from different parts of India with events spanning 5 days, it was important for us to have someone who can learn and manage all the cultural traditions from our parents and relatives while still incorporating a modern feel that felt true to us. To say that Aneesa far exceeded our expectations is an understatement. She was constantly open to learning about our religion and culture while still taking time to understand who we are as a couple and merge the two into beautiful events. Her and her team seamlessly coordinated with 50+ vendors during a very difficult time in the pandemic. Our guests cannot stop gushing at how fluid and effortless the weekend was. Aneesa was able to maintain such a relaxed environment while being firm when needed to keep things running on time. She immersed herself in each event from her beautiful Indian outfits to performing with us at our Sangeet. Our family and friends are waiting to hire her for their next family wedding. Only now am I beginning to find the right words to express the depth of my gratitude for Aneesa and for Harmony Weddings NC. When we started the wedding planning process in 2018, I actually thought I didn't need a wedding coordinator (classic Enneagram 1, "I can do it myself!" - oh my god, how wrong I was). But (very wisely) many venues, including our beloved The Barn of Chapel Hill, require at least a day-of or month-of coordinator, so we took Kara's suggestion and reached out to Harmony Weddings and Events. I think that, for the rest of my life, reaching out to Aneesa Glines will remain one of the best decisions we have ever made.
From our very first meeting, Cole Swanson and I felt not just listened to, but truly valued. A musician like us, Aneesa treasured our story, our values, and our ideas. She had a suggested vendor for each of our goals and budgets, but it quickly became apparent that these suggestions were more than just business transactions - we were benefitting from the trust and friendship Aneesa has built with vendors throughout her industry. Throughout vendor selection and initial planning, Aneesa was always ready to lend a non-judgmental and loving hand or word of advice.
Then we postponed - three times. I think it's telling that I'm able to say that, though postponing was emotionally difficult, at no point was it logistically stressful. Aneesa guided us through each date change with her calm demeanor, checking in quickly with our vendor team, and each time we had a new wedding date and plan within days. I cannot even begin to imagine navigating life these past 16 months without Aneesa.
As I have gotten to know Aneesa over the years, I've gotten a small glimpse into the depth of her resilience and grit. When the world crumbled last year, she created beauty: teaching voice, creating community, and uniting and inspiring her industry to promote and stand up for racial equity. As guidelines changed rapidly over the next sixteen months, she pivoted consistently, not only keeping all of her couples safe but becoming the go-to person for COVID-safe wedding how-tos. Aneesa is more than just our coordinator - she is our friend, and a true inspiration to me. Aneesa has inspired me to think deeply about community: how it happens, who's in the room, and why people come together. Aneesa has opened my eyes to so many realities and beauties of human connection. She has motivated me to become a more engaged professional woman, a more bridge-building scientist, and a more loving community member. Aneesa and her team at Harmony are the reason we were able to pull off such a wonderful wedding in the timeframe and budget we had! We got absolutely lucky in the 10 months that we were planning- by the time we married in July, we were able to have all of our guests attend mask free! For the months that preceded the wedding, however, there was some stress wondering how COVID would impact our big day. Aneesa was incredible at keeping our stress and worry at bay. She and her team even hosted a zoom to go over COVID restrictions and what it meant for weddings. She also updated the Harmony Instagram page with updates from Governor Cooper, putting his updates into a condensed version that was perfect for a quick read!
Our wedding was absolutely magical. If there were any problems, my husband and I had no idea. Aneesa and her team kept us on time, kept us well fed, made sure we always had a drink in our hands, and kept our pictures running smoothly! Aneesa is a joy to be around and she was wonderful at providing a calm and warm presence for our families and other guests. Despite hiring her for month of coordination, Aneesa was quick to respond to every email, text, or call throughout the whole 10 month planning experience. She is the main reason I was so calm during the entire process- any problem, thought, or question I had, she had an answer or solution for it! Seriously, if you're thinking about skipping month of or full service planning, please don't! It was the best money we spent, hands down! Getting to actually enjoy the planning process, and more importantly, our big day, knowing that we were in the best of hands was truly priceless. I don’t even know how to begin to describe the flawless wedding you pulled off for Mary-Margaret and Ben this weekend. Guest have used adjectives like flawless, spectacular, perfect and best wedding ever, but none of those begin to describe the sheer joy that you brought not only to the couple and bridal party, but to all 200 guests. It was a fabulous experience!
Y’all worked so hard for two years (thank you COVID) to plan, replan and keep everything moving along. The vendor team you brought it were all superstars. You put up with our endless questions and made it a weekend where we could just sit back and enjoy everything.
I don’t know how anyone can pull off a wedding without planners, but you were so much more than planners. You are a dream team! I’m still on that post wedding high.

My entire experience can be summed up with these three words : Aneesa is phenomenal. Truly.
My wedding plans changed 3-4 times due to covid19 and the executive orders surrounding it. Aneesa used her platform on social media to help make sense of what these orders meant for couples getting married. Her updates kept me sane while trying to plan the biggest day of my life in the midst of a pandemic. Her optimism kept me hopeful.
During the civil unrest in the country, Aneesa used her platform in the industry to bridge the gap between black vendors and white owned venues. She helped connect people so they could start to offer more diversity on their preferred lists to couples. And did the same with her own venue.
Due to budget constraints I opted to DIY a ton of my wedding decor including the florals. This was only possible because Aneesa had a team that could put it all together the day of. She saved me and my husband THOUSANDS by making that project of mine a reality.
Aneesa is organized, thorough, thoughtful and has the most infectious upbeat attitude. I called/emailed/texted her with any questions I had about “how to” and she never hesitated to be open, honest and helpful at every step.
I think back to the morning of my wedding day and remember how calm I was. My mom, aunt and bridesmaids were all waiting for me to freak out and be a bride-zilla, it didn’t happen. I had Aneesa on my team and I knew she had it under control. It was a completely stress free day because of Aneesa and I am so thankful for that. -

Easy Breezy!
Hiring Harmony Weddings was the best decision I made when it came to wedding planning! They made everything run so smoothly on the wedding day and without them, there would have been way more stress on me, my mom, and other friends and family who instead got to enjoy the day. With a big wedding, came a lot of moving parts and Daryl served as a manager for the many people helping to make our day magical. Not only did she oversee everything, but she helped with many details as well. My husband and I went with the Wedding Management Package and it was exactly what we needed and could afford. From the wedding day timeline, and planning the layout, to decorating, place settings, coordinating the sparkler exit and so much more...the Harmony Weddings team is amazing! Where it says they will "take care of any surprises," this is very true! Our party bus that was supposed to pick up the bridal party and friends after the wedding never showed, so Daryl found taxis to make sure everyone had a ride. I am referring Harmony Weddings to all of my friends getting married! Thank you for all you do! -

Y’all I don’t even know where to begin!! We met Bethany with Harmony Weddings in November 2018 and immediately knew we needed her to be a part of our wedding day in March 2020. She had such a calming presence and thank goodness for that because there is no way I could have gotten through wedding planning without her, but then add in postponing our wedding twice due to COVID?! Bethany was an absolute life saver!! With her help, the postponement process became stress free and full of ease. My husband and I recently got married in February 2021 and worked with Harmony for planning services throughout our long engagement which spanned the year leading up to and encompassing the COVID-19 epidemic. We seriously could not have imagined a more perfect and stress-free wedding planning process, even in light of the global events, thanks to Bethany, Aneesa, and the Harmony team that took us in and had our backs every step of the way. Our original wedding plan needed to change drastically over the course of the pandemic, and Harmony was able to help us seamlessly navigate finding a new venue and new vendors all within a few months of our wedding date. They also helped us go through every vendor contract and determine how to best repurpose and reorganize our proposals to fit our massively reduced guest count while ensuring we were able to maximize our experience and not waste any of the money we had already spent. The Harmony team ensured that we stayed in the loop about recommended safety protocols from the state level, and also collaborated with our vendors to give us a comprehensive overview of what the safest practices would be for our wedding, from food and bar service to ceremony seating and reception events. As a healthcare worker, I cannot begin to describe how much peace it gave me to know that we had an evidence-based and well established plan from our Harmony team to keep our celebration both magical and safe for all of our loved ones. I cannot begin to say enough good things about Aneesa and her team. Her services were easily the best money we could have spent throughout the wedding planning process. After we got engaged, none of us in my family knew where to begin and didn’t have any clue what things should cost based on our needs and vision. We started planning a year prior (pre-COVID) and then when everything became uncertain, she was there immediately communicating and making us feel more at ease. When you spend all this time and put all this effort into something, for all plans to quickly take a turn, it is easy to get frustrated and feel defeated. Aneesa was so confident, positive, and had so many great ideas to help us turn our 100 guest wedding into the most romantic, special, unique 40 guest wedding. Being a bride is stressful enough. Now add in a pandemic ... I truthfully could not have pulled off having my wedding without Bethany. We booked Bethany for the "day of" for Sept 6th, 2020. She went above and beyond what we booked her for. Bethany was the first/only vendor to reach out to us in in April when COVID lock down was in full force. She was just checking in on us, reassuring that she was here to support. May-Aug Bethany took almost weekly emails/phone calls with us, helping us navigate through this pandemic mess. She was the calming foundation that we desperately needed. After multiple different backup plans, emails, phone calls, etc. we finally decided (less than 2 months away from our wedding date) to do a small 15 person wedding at our new home. Bethany was right there to support and quick to help us. She had a planning meeting with me, developed a timeline, emailed all vendors prior to the wedding, answered all my questions with a quick response and made sure everything ran smoothly. She took away any stress or worries we had about hosting a completely different wedding. The day of was perfect because Bethany handled every detail with grace and ease. She was there every single step and even made sure we were hydrated during pictures! It says a lot that someone who was booked for something so much bigger than a 15 person backyard wedding, was willing and happy to help us achieve our perfect wedding day.
If you are second-guessing a wedding planner or thinking you do not need one, you do and you WILL NOT regret booking Harmony Weddings. They were by far the best vendor we booked because of their professionalism, quick responsiveness, and support during an unexpected pandemic. That speaks volumes about their business.
My husband and I will never be able to thank Bethany enough for going above and beyond and making sure we got everything we truly wanted for our wedding day! -

The encouragement and support we received from Aneesa and her team made the daunting task of replanning our original wedding plans due to COVID-19 a joy.
