  The BEST wedding coordinator!!

  My now husband and I decided that we wanted a small-ish backyard wedding, not knowing how much work and detail it would require! However, with Lizzie and her team’s help it was everything we could have ever wanted!
  I hired Lizzie as a month of wedding coordinator. Lizzie knew it was a backyard wedding, which means a lot of work. She met with me about 3-4 months before the wedding so that I knew exactly what things I needed to work on. She then met with me 5 weeks before the wedding to take everything over and reach out to the vendors so that I don’t have to anymore. She was SO GOOD about checking in with me and making sure things were still on track.
  The day before the wedding we went through every detail of the wedding and how I wanted everything placed and decorated. She was so easy to talk to and gave me suggestions along the way that were super helpful!
  The next day, everything was placed exactly how we had talked about and it was PERFECT! More beautiful than I had imagined. I believe there were some missing table cloths from the vendor and I didn’t even hear about it. I’m sure something else happened that I was never made aware of and THANK GOODNESS!
  She made sure that my itinerary was on time and that everything went flawlessly. She is very organized and willing to help in any way she can! I can’t imagine our day without her.
  In summary, HIRE HER ASAP! :)

  Hakuna Matata Weddings Will Make Your Event Magical!

  Lizzie and Hakuna Matata Weddings & Events were exceptional and life preservers! From the initial consultation until the event, Lizzie was on point. She advised, coordinated, and instructed where needed. Lizzie is dedicated, organized, and detail-oriented - everything you need in the perfect wedding planner! She even caught that I had forgotten my bouquet right before I was about to walk down the aisle - disaster averted! Lizzie and Zack did all the heavy lifting and took all the pressure off. They made our most special day a magical one! We truly appreciate all that they did, more than words can say. We cannot thank them enough and I highly recommend them - they were exactly what we needed. We love them!

  PERFECT wedding coordinator

  We cannot say enough about how amazing Lizzie was in helping us coordinate our wedding. From our first call with her we immediately loved her down-to-earth, warm, friendly, but professional vibe. It felt like talking to an old friend!
  Lizzie helped us find the most perfect team of Photographers, DJ, and flowers. We highly valued her opinions and are so glad we did because the team was fabulous and worked so well together.
  When the hotel we were having the wedding at looked like a construction zone two months before our wedding (when it was supposed to be done two months earlier) she immediately calmed us down and handled any issues that came up. When the wedding point person at the hotel quit two weeks before the wedding, she also handled that with ease. She acknowledged our feelings, but always made me feel confident that she would do what it takes to ensure we had the perfect wedding.
  Lizzie always went above and beyond. We had a destination wedding and she let us ship decorations to her home, she printed out table numbers and put them in frames for us. She communicated with all of our vendors for us in the month before the wedding and made sure the timeline was communicated with everyone.
  Lizzie always responded via text or email almost immediately, She was so easy to get in touch with and easy to talk to. She organized a rehearsal the day before the wedding and answered any questions we had.
  The day of the wedding was rather warm and she had water at the ready for us while we took photos and held an umbrella over us in between photos so we didn't get too hot. She brought appetizers and drinks to our sweetheart table. She even escorted a baby possum out that tried to crash the reception!!
  At the end of the night she brought food, jackets, purses, presents, cards, etc. up to our room. She left a flower petal heart on our bed with a handmade ornament. It had the location and date of our wedding handwritten on it and she put sand from the exact spot we go married in the ornament. She also left emergency kits on each of our night stands with all of the essentials for the morning after.
  We LOVED Lizzie, our families loved Lizzie, our bridal party loved Lizzie. She was so friendly, so professional and so competent at everything she did. No matter what craziness happened we had full faith that Lizzie would solve any problem. It was such a nice feeling knowing we didn't have to worry about anything.

  Hakuna Matata Wedding Coordinator

  Lizzie was phenomenal! She provided guidance promptly whenever asked. When we had a concern with any vendor, her response was. “Consider it handled”. And it was handled! Lizzie provided a seamless interface with the church and venue coordinators, listening and stepping in when appropriate. We purchased many things for the reception(chargers, candles etc). Lizzie made sure everything was placed appropriately. She was absolutely lovely to work with and, as her company name indicates, we had absolutely “no worries!”

  Hakuna Matata

  We hired Lizzie’s company for the month of planning for my son’s Naples wedding, and she seamlessly stepped in and took control of all the moving parts. She was organized, professional and calm, giving us confidence that all would go smoothly. And it did! We, as well as all of our other vendors, loved working with her. I highly recommend her!

  Hire Lizzie

  Lizzie is absolutely amazing, I would hire her again no questions asked! Usually something goes wrong at a wedding but that didn't happen for us because of how amazing Lizzie was. She worked with every vendor before the wedding and took care of everything the day before and day of. She even picked up flowers from the florist and drove them to the bakery where our cake was made to have them decorate it. She also put little hangover kits and decorated our suite the night of the wedding for afterwards. She went above and beyond and was very detail oriented with a great personality. She does amazing work and was on top of it the entire time, from early stages of planning to following up after the wedding. Highly recommend!

  Lizzie Lumley - great wedding planner!

  Lizzie made the last month of wedding planning easy. She paid attention to all the details, even drove to the florist to pick up the fresh flowers for the wedding cake and dropped them off at the bakery, to make our day easier. She was on top of all of the vendors and made sure that the execution of the rehearsal, opening party and wedding were flawless. Highly recommend!

  Book Lizzie! You Won't Regret This Decision.

  Lizzie helped make our wedding day so special. She was quick to respond, always empathizing and validating during stressful moments, and effective in problem-solving. Before the wedding day, she offered to help take things off my to-do list by contacting vendors for me and getting the final details solidified. Lizzie was not just amazing leading up to the wedding but she was even more impressive on our wedding day. I made the mistake of eating a bagel the morning of the wedding and when we arrived at the ceremony site I realized I needed floss. Of course, Lizzie had this among many other supplies that I would not have thought to bring with me. While coordinating our timeline, managing vendors, and helping set up small things (water station, signage decor, etc.) Lizzie was there to help bustle my dress when no one else could figure it out. Hiring Lizzie was the best decision I made for my wedding day and I am beyond grateful for all the help she and her husband (her assistant for the day) had offered me. I can promise you won't regret hiring her so definitely act fast and book her before someone else does.

I forgot to mention, that the day after the wedding, Lizzie shared a google drive of photos and videos she had taken throughout the wedding day so I had things to look at and post on social media since my photographer wasn't offering me any sneak peeks. I would never have thought this to be important but let me tell you, it is! The day after the wedding, I had some blue feelings but the content she gathered helped balance out my emotions. Now, as I wait to get my photos back from my photographer I can reminisce and feel the joy from our wedding day because of Lizzie and her thoughtfulness.

  Lizzie was an absolute dream to work with! She walked through every step and was extremely helpful with making recommendations and providing helpful tips. Our day was perfect thanks to Lizzie and her team. She kept our timeline on track and we were amazed at how everything came together. She helped make our wedding day stress-free. My parents even commented on how efficient and pleasant Lizzie is. She went above and beyond adding small sentimental touches and surprises into our day. I could not imagine our day without her!

  You need lizzie!

  Lizzie was instrumental in making both our wedding day and the few weeks leading up to the wedding as stress free as possible. She was recommended to us by our venue and before the wedding provided recommendations of other vendors to use, created a detailed timeline of the day, coordinated with all the vendors, and made sure there was nothing I didn't forget. On the day of, she helped navigate all small issues that arose and was such a pleasure to work with the entire time. We couldn't have done the day without her and would highly recommend to anyone in need of a month of / day of coordinator!

  Lizzie was instrumental in making both our wedding day and the few weeks leading up to the wedding as stress free as possible.   Best Wedding Decision We Made!

  Lizzie (owner) of Hakuna Matata and Katie are simply the best. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without them. Lizzie’s incredible attention to detail, reliability, organization, responsiveness, communication, and constant support throughout the “month of” and “day of” were incredible and more than exceeded my expectations. Not a detail was forgotten, she was on top of everything. She helped calm me down as well, and worked effortlessly with my family and bridal party (including young kids). We had a reception reveal and were blown away by all the “behind the scenes” work that was done while I was upstairs getting ready. We even had to utilize her emergency kit for a few things. Her coordination and communication with all the vendors was perfection. Not only did Lizzie make sure all of our wedding items were set up properly, she then packed up all of our belongings and put them back in our suite at the end of the night. She also organized our room and left rose petals on the bed. She is a true professional that goes above and beyond like no one I’ve ever met, but with such warmth and kindness as well. Lizzie and Katie were such an instrumental part of such an important day, we are forever grateful and thankful. If you are getting married, give yourself the best gift ever and hire Hakuna Matata! I cannot recommend them enough!

  Such a superb job done that even my guests complimented the professionalism and how seamless the day went.

  Out of all my vendors, this service was the best. I can’t express how perfect every step, detail, communication and execution of the service was managed. Look no further, Lizzie can execute any wedding day off, she and her team delivered the most needed service, I had “no worries” on the most important day of my life. Not only was she a pleasure to work with, her services were complimented by vendors and my bridesmaids.

  Out of all my vendors, this service was the best. I can’t express how perfect every step, detail, communication and execution of the service was managed.   Lizzie and Zack are amazing! My wedding was able to run so smoothly because of their services. Lizzie has incredible attention to detail and listens carefully to her clients’ wants and needs. When I came out and saw my venue for the first time all decorated I literally burst into tears because it was everything I imagined and more. Lizzie and Zack are both calm, cool, and collected and they really mean no worries for your wedding day. They are there every step of the way, making sure you’re at ease and not stressing about anything. Absolutely recommend Hakuna Matata Weddings a million times over!!

  Best Wedding Decision We Made!

  We can't say enough great things about hiring Hakuna Matata for our wedding day! Lizzie (owner) and her team were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, kind, helpful, and responsive throughout the entire process. They helped us stay organized and on time even with what felt like a million different moving parts. Plus, they went above and beyond our hopes and expectations by making sure all our belongings made it safely back to our suite, handing out tip envelopes even when I forgot to mention where I had them stored, and keeping our bridal party in line! :) I recommend Hakuna Matata to every engaged couple!!

She was so helpful leading up to the big day, incredibly responsive, had great insight and ideas, and just made the day of run so smoothly. When you need something on your wedding day, you don’t want to send a parent or a bridal party member, because you want them to be with you! Lizzie was a huge asset and resource and I’d hire her again in a heartbeat. Truly can not recommend her enough!

  The BEST Month-Of Coordinator!

  I can't even begin to put into words how integral Lizzie was to our wedding day running as smoothly and efficiently as it did. Originally I wasn't even sure if I needed a wedding coordinator because I had managed booking all the vendors on my own just fine but boy was I wrong! Starting a month out she was in contact with all of our vendors and put together a detailed timeline so they all knew exactly when they needed to arrive for set up and break down (something I never could have done on my own). She also kept immaculate time management on the day of the wedding, which allowed me as the bride to relax and enjoy the day. At the end of the night Lizzie even surprised my husband and I with beautiful petals in our suite and water bottles on the bedside tables. Her attention to detail is unparalleled and I would highly recommend Lizzie to anyone getting married or planning a big event.

  We were married on 11/18/22 at the Pelican Grand Beach Resort, and I cannot believe how stress free the entire day was because of Lizzie and her Sister. She handled everything so quickly and professionally it was amazing! Every walk through, explanation, and coordination of our wedding was completely seamless! We found out later from family that a few issues came up during the wedding, and we had no idea that anything happened because Lizzie took care of it immediately. I cannot recommend Hakuna matata Weddings enough! You will not regret it, and instead of worrying about your wedding, you'll be having the time of your life care free!

  If you are on the fence about hiring Hakuna Matata Weddings & Events, I highly recommend that you do. I had no idea how valuable this service would be until that last month before my wedding. Lizzie came in and took over putting all of the pieces together. Especially at a time when I about had it with wedding stuff! The day of was absolutely smooth and perfect. If there were any problems, I had no idea because Lizzie took care of it. She even assembled our centerpieces and made sure our destination wedding was perfect! The value of this service is actually priceless, in my opinion.

  Lizzie helped make our day absolutely magical!

  We had a very difficult situation arise, where my mother passed away 3 weeks before our wedding date. Unfortunately, that caused us to change our wedding date and Lizzie was an angel. At my toughest most vulnerable time, Lizzie helped pick us up and made our day absolutely magical! Apart from that- our wedding day morning, there was a massive storm and our ceremony was to be outside. With the utmost professionalism, Lizzie was ready to handle anything! The weather cleared beautifully, and we were able to still have it outside, but Lizzie was patient, calm and ready.
