    Simply The Best - Better Than All The Rest

    I cannot recommend Sara Sekeres and Graceful Events team enough! Wedding planning should be special, but can also be overwhelming. Sara was with us from the beginning, ensuring we were partnering with the right vendors and thinking through the details that meant the most to us. Sara and her team were an absolute dream the day of our wedding. Also thankful, she carved out time in our day of schedule to ensure my fiancee and I spent a few moments together in the wonderful craziness and also ate!

    Best Decision We Made in the Wedding Process

    If you are planning a wedding, you will regret not hiring a wedding planner. We highly recommend going with Graceful Events and requesting Sara Sekeres. We had the absolutely perfect wedding and the best weekend of our lives, and that would not have been possible without Sara's help. We went with one of the more hands on packages (I forgot the name) and worked with Sara for close to 2 years before our big day. The price we paid was an investment, not an expense. The amount of time and energy Sara saved us, along with money she saved us using her connections in the field, wasn't even close to the amount we spent on our package. This was a no brainer. Many times throughout the process we were stressed and not in a good head space just dealing with family and thoughts, etc, but as as soon as we sat down with Sara, she brought the joy back and got us excited again and surprised us with how much she had gotten done for us without us even asking. Not to mention, Sara has a great personality, is fun, caring, and genuinely loves what she does. Zero regrets hiring Sara and would do it again in a heartbeat.

    Day of Coordinator for Daughter's Wedding

    Robyn M from Graceful Events was amazing. I did not even know we would need a "day of coordinator" but the venue required it. I am beyond thankful we hired Graceful Events. They made the day go by so smoothly. Robyn met with us about a month before the wedding and understood what we wanted. On the day of the wedding she handled everything very professionally even me, the mother of the bride, having a meltdown about the flowers. I am beyond thankful for all she did for us so that we could enjoy the day!

    October 2023 Wedding

    My husband and I recently got married at the beginning of October at Geneva National Resort. Our venue provided us with a venue coordinator which we sadly were not impressed with. I did a lot of research to find a trustworthy company we could work with for our big day, and came across Graceful Events.
    I first started off talking with Jaffe the owner who is so responsive to any and all questions, and made sure we felt confident in working with her and her team. Once we decided to work with Graceful events, were assigned Abbey R. as our day of coordinator.
    We were so happy we had the opportunity to work with her for our wedding! She truly went above and beyond for us to make sure everything went smoothly and picked up the pieces that our venue coordinator couldn’t do. She was willing to help transfer all of our DIY decor, signs, etc during our dinner rehearsal, and was there to help with whatever we needed during the day of.
    As for most weddings we did have some problems come up, and Abbey was there to solve them for us. We somehow misplaced our sparklers for the send off we had planned, and Abbey and her husband came to the rescue for us. They had left over sparklers of their own they had dropped off for us minutes before we were going out to take photos with our guests. Abbey is such an awesome wedding planner and DOC that I would recommend to everyone. We were so grateful to have had her there to help us and greatly appreciate everything she did for us.
    I also do want to give shout out to Angie. She is absolutely incredible! One of my best friends got married the weekend before us and had Angie as their coordinator. I was a bridesmaid in her wedding and watched Angie go above and beyond to make sure everyone was where they needed to be, and that things went perfect for her big day (which they did!). She made sure everything was perfectly timed, that the groomsmen weren’t messing around or getting too crazy, and that all the decorations were set up exactly the way they envisioned.
    I have nothing but good things to say about the entire Graceful Events team and how they all do such a spectacular job. Highly recommend any and all of them especially if you feel like you need extra help on your special day.

    The absolute best!

    Graceful events truly made our wedding the best it could possibly be. Grace was an absolute life saver and truly made our vision come to life. From start to finish she was organized, so easy to work with, paid attention to detail, and made our day perfect. I would have been truly lost without her, and I am forever grateful that we were blessed enough to be able to work with her.

    The BEST wedding planners

    We wanted a very non-traditional wedding, and Kate not only made us feel like what we wanted was a cool, fun idea - she also helped make it all come together seamlessly. We 100% would not have been able to make our day the fun event that it turned out to be without her help.

    Amazing Company!

    We have had the opportunity to work with Graceful Events twice in 2023, both for a smaller engagement weekend celebration as well as a large gala. From the first conversation, Jaffe and her team (we spoke mostly with Jaffe and Sara) were nothing but amazing. Their attention to detail and gracious personalities help make them rockstars.

    Extraordinary!!

    It’s hard to put into words the level of professionalism and attention to even the tiniest of details that Jaffe and her staff at Graceful Events put into the ‘once in a lifetime Gala’ held at Yerkes Observatory in Williams Bay, WI on 9-16-23. The planning for this event lasted over a year and a half; with Jaffe and Sara putting in countless hours for the comprehensive creation, management and execution of, not just a Gala…but a true production! This huge undertaking included the coordination of a large vendor team throughout the entire process; everything from the tent, A/V, floral, rentals, the caterer, the band, valet, photographer, and on and on. Everything throughout this work of art operated in perfect synchronicity! Of course there will always be unavoidable challenges that present themselves with an event of this magnitude, but Jaffe’s team was composed, confident and nonplussed under pressure working to problem solve any issue(s) head on in the most professional manner.
    Perhaps most importantly is how Jaffe, Sara, and their team made every attempt to ensure that each and every one of the 300 guests in attendance at the Gala left the event with an overall feeling that they had just experienced the best party of their lifetime! Boy oh boy were they successful! The literal flood of compliments about this Gala has been nothing short of magnificent!
    We could keep writing pages about how much we love Graceful Events. Again, it’s so hard to put into words just how perfect this Gala was, but what we can say, is that we owe it all to Jaffe and her team. To say that they are extraordinary, just doesn’t seem to be enough!

    Wedding Coordinator + Event Design

    We evaluated various vendors in the Lake Geneva, WI area for our wedding at The Abbey, and working with the Graceful Events team was a no brainer for us! Starting with Jaffe and her assistant Jenn – they were so responsive (Jaffe literally sent me info 2 hours after my website inquiry), and really enjoyable to work with. We did their silver package and added on the event design to get some extra help bringing everything together.

    Enter Katie Ogrinc, who we got connected with early on for the event design component and she was able to attend our initial meeting with The Abbey team. Katie ended up being our day of coordinator as well, which worked out perfectly since she had already been up to speed on our wedding details. We got along immediately (bonding over the southside of Chicago, and SW Michigan areas), and it felt like we'd known her for years. It also helped that she got along so well with our event coordinator (Jonathan Puls) at The Abbey – their team has done so many events there over the years, which makes the whole planning process that much more seamless. 

    Katie was always a few steps ahead, and truly helped surface things that we never would have thought of. It felt very overwhelming to think about the daunting task of downloading all of our details out of our brains for her to get up to speed on, but she made it so easy for us with the organization and expertise she brought into our coordination. It was such an incredible feeling heading into our wedding week / weekend knowing that we had full confidence in Katie to run the show (with the help of Shelby + Ashley who were both so amazing as well!). From finalizing details with vendors, to being there for our rehearsal, making sure the room was setup + decorated, coordinating with our surprise bagpipers, being flexible with the timeline + keeping us on track, helping to distribute vendor tips, and ALLLL of the little details that you just don't have to think about that day because of her – we really would not have had such an enjoyable experience and stress-free (as much as it can be!) wedding day if not for this team.

    Katie always presented herself with a very calming energy, felt like one of the family, and truly was so wonderful to work with every step of the way. She also has a great side gig – Table Side Design– where she'll design custom pieces for your events! We had her make our welcome sign and escort table signs, which were executed perfectly and received so many compliments from our guests. 

    Jaffe has built an incredible team of knowledgeable, friendly, and professional individuals. As the owner of the business, she was also great about checking in to wish us well before our wedding, as well as follow-up afterwards with a personalized note. We highly recommend using her team for their services if you're looking in the area – it is worth every penny!

    You need Graceful Events!

    If you are on the fence about hiring a day-of coordinator, DO IT. It's worth every penny, and Graceful Events was an absolute pleasure to work with. They are so familiar with all of the Lake Geneva venues, which was super helpful during the entire process. I cannot recommend them enough!

    Hailey was my day-of wedding coordinator and she truly made our wedding day the best it could possibly have been. Hailey was so calm and organized during my planning process, making sure I was checking off the boxes that I needed to in the months leading up to my wedding. And on our wedding day she was so insanely helpful - directing our vendors, setting up our ceremony and reception space, and keeping us on schedule throughout the evening. Plus, as a person she is incredibly kind and thoughtful! She put in a huge amount of work making sure our wedding was exactly as we envisioned it, and I am so grateful that she was a part of it. Having her support kept me sane, and allowed me to fully be in the moment with my family, friends and husband the entire day!

    Highly Recommend Graceful Events

    We are biased because Sara Sekeres from Graceful Events is the bride’s cousin, but she was fantastic executing our two-day wedding in July.

    We did a small Indian wedding the first day and a big western wedding the second day. From start to finish, Sara was on the go nonstop bringing our vision to life and coordinating beautifully with our venue and vendors so that we could relax and enjoy the wedding of our dreams.

    Her experience coordinating weddings was evident throughout the process. She set up the western wedding reception ballroom of our dreams with very little help and also did all the little things like helping family members when there were some minor wardrobe issues during dancing for the Indian wedding.

    She recommended a fantastic DJ and had great suggestions, but was never overbearing and let us have full ownership of all the decisions.

    Even when we were thrown curveballs during our wedding weekend, Sara was calm and professional and able to adapt at a moment’s notice, helping comfort us and setting the tone for all of our vendors and guests.

    Review for graceful

    I sat for days struggling to come up with the appropriate words to share how important Kacie was to our wedding day. Kacie was attentive, detail oriented, flexible, responsive, and personable not just to me and my husband, but to every single person in our wedding party. Most of the guests and even several of my vendors and venue employees said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. If it was not for Kacie from Graceful Events, it would have been a completely different day. My husband and I were able to relax and enjoy the day that we had spent years talking about- this is the most valuable gift ever. Anything I needed, even without asking, was promptly provided to me. The only thing I regret is not immediately having another large event for Kacie to assist me with. My friends and family members that had the pleasure of interacting with Kacie fully intend to reach out for their own events/ weddings.
    Furthermore, I also had the unique pleasure to work with Abbey Rosenquist as she happened to be our ceremony coordinator at the church. Abbey also coincidentally happens to work for Graceful Events and even though she was not paired with me through Graceful, she was still just as attentive to me. For example, someone stepped on my dress after the ceremony leaving a huge black stain. Without asking, Abbey ran and cleaned it off, leaving my dress pristine for pictures. I will forever be grateful for the peace and calm that both Kacie and Abbey provided to me and my husband on the biggest day of our lives.

    We had such a great experience with Katie from Graceful Events- I was stressed about planning a 200+ person wedding and after meeting with Katie I felt so much better- she made sure the day went off without a hitch and was integral to our perfect wedding weekend- highly recommend!

    Outstanding - 100% Recommend

    We used Graceful Events for day of coordination for our wedding - booking a package where we had 3 lead up meetings to our event - and to say they went above and beyond is an understatement. From our first call with Jaffe she was incredibly helpful in answering all my questions before we were paired with Kylie. Due to covid implications with vendors being booked so far in advance we wanted to make sure we were not going to drop the ball on anything big before our first meeting with Kylie and Jaffe was incredibly generous emailing with us and setting up a final check-in.

    Leading up to the wedding we were assigned Kylie as our day of coordinator and I truly don't know what I would have done without her. She was amazing and we hit it off instantly. She was an absolute gem on our wedding day, running around, setting up desert tables, keeping the day moving along, running to get pizzas, coordinating every last detail and doing it with the most calm demeanor.

    I'm sure many things went wrong but Kylie managed our day with such ease the only thing I knew went wrong was that I forgot my train at our venue the next morning. Kylie had picked it up and fortunately was able to meet a couple days later so I could get it back.

    I cannot say thank you enough to Kylie and the team at Graceful Events. You made our day absolutely perfect!

    5 stars for Graceful Events!

    We absolutely LOVED working with Graceful Events. We are so grateful to Jaffe and her entire team for their partnership, dedication and support every step of the way for our daughter's 325 guest wedding. They truly went above and beyond. Jaffe and crew are incredibly organized, professional, detail-oriented, and always quick to respond to any question or request. Throughout the entire planning process, Jaffe was such a calming and joy-filled presence, even when dealing with last minute or unexpected changes. When a few of our guests had childcare cancellations the day of the wedding, Jaffe immediately stepped up - when no sitters could be found in the area, she sent a member of her team to watch the children so our guests could still come and enjoy the wedding! We are so fortunate that we were able to work with Graceful Events, and offer our highest recommendation!

    Pure Magic!

    Jessica, Katie and Jaffe went above and beyond. On such an important I cannot impress enough how amazing it was to have a team we trusted and could really enjoy and soak in the day- while they worked their magic. As we hired our other vendors the response was the same “ Oh you have Graceful Events? The day will be perfect— they’re AMAZING! We love working with them”. The entire day was pure magic, hiring Graceful (especially Jessica & Katie) was the best wedding choice we could have made!!

    Amazing planners

    We used Graceful Events for day of coordination for our wedding and to say they went above and beyond is an understatement. From our first call with Jaffe she was incredibly helpful in answering all my questions as well as providing vendor recommendations for us.

    Leading up to the wedding we were assigned Jessica as our day of coordinator and I truly don't know what I would have done without her. She was not only my #1 on our wedding day but helped so much in the weeks leading up to coordinate our vendors, tie up lose ends, and help to keep me calm and sane.

    People say to expect things to go wrong on your wedding day but if something went wrong I have no idea about it because Jessica was so on top of everything and was just the absolute best to work with.

    Willing To Go Above And Beyond

    My fiancé and I found ourselves in a pinch- family friends were hired to create the majority of our decor and they also planned to decorate the day of the wedding. Unfortunately, due to medical issues, they no longer were going to be able to help the day of the wedding. We were referred to Graceful Events by the owner of our venue- Providence Vineyard. Jaffe went above and beyond to figure our a plan to help us get through our day- successfully. She looked for a last minute solution that would fit our needs at a price that we could afford. She told me, "We have your back." At that moment, a huge weight was lifted off our shoulders. Highly recommend Graceful Events without hesitation!

    The dream team for anyone looking for a wedding planner!

    Graceful Events, especially Senior Wedding Planner Jenna, and Designer Stephanie, made sure that our big day will be perfect as we have planned. Especially with the fact that we had to postpone our wedding celebration from October 2020 to October 2021 due to some unexpected passings I had in my side of the family.

    Once we decided to postpone, we contacted Jenna right away. Without further delay, she went ahead and reached out to all of our vendors making sure they were available on our new date. She’s that AMAZING! Also thank you Jaffe Wojcik, Owner of Graceful Events, for being so understanding on our circumstances in postponing our wedding celebration!

    Throughout the wedding planning, Jenna is not only an amazing talented professional, she’s also such a cool person. She made the whole process of planning our postponed wedding fun and stress free! From every vendor she recommended to every small detail, everything was so amazing. Fast forward to 10/10/21, it was by the far the most special day of our lives. Jenna and her team literally made our dreams come true. From start to finish we could not have asked for a more dedicated visionary working to make everything happen. It was truly a magical day. The details to the design and the execution of how everything turned out was beyond our expectations. We can’t get over of how perfect our day was! Jenna, we love you and we are forever grateful!

    Graceful Events and Robyn are pure magic!

    No words could possibly describe how grateful My husband, Paul and I are for Robyn and Graceful Events! Robyn was pure magic since the moment we met her and went above and beyond to get to know us as a couple. Robyn took on every task from helping us incorporate our dog in our wedding, tying bow ties, delivering late night Taco Bell, and fluffing my dress and veil all day long. Robyn ensured not one detail was left untouched and became a great friend to us along the way. Robyn is your go to gal for everything wedding related and also supports your decisions along the way.     I can honestly say that one of the best decisions I made throughout the wedding planning process was to hire a planner from Graceful events. Graceful events was excellent, organized, and quick to respond. Sara was our wedding planner and she went above and beyond. It was such a pleasure working with her.     Definitely the best!

    Jaffe and her team and extremely competent and truly enjoy the work they do. They have a ton of different resources and they are incredibly kind and happy for the couples they work with! We had to cancel our wedding because of the pandemic, but Jaffe was with us every step of the way, contacting vendors, making suggestions, etc. I cannot recommend Graceful Events enough!

    Highly Recommend!

    We originally did not have a wedding coordinator for our first intended date, but once we had to reschedule our wedding the stress built up and we contracted with Graceful Events for our new wedding day. We breathed a big sigh of relief that day! Past brides and industry professionals aren’t lying when they say hiring a day of coordinator is a must! We're so fortunate to have had Angie as our coordinator, I don’t know how we’d manage the day without her. She was so sweet, funny, and very detail oriented! We clicked the first time we met to go over details and the following days till the wedding she was very responsive when it came to all our random questions, and handled any communication needed with our vendors.

    On the wedding day, the Graceful Events team was on top of everything from organizing vendors, setting up decor, and directing guests on where to go. We even had a last minute ceremony change from outside to indoors, due to rain. Angie and the team quickly managed to move our arch flowers from the outside arch to the one indoors. I am so grateful for Angie and the Graceful Events team, they really allowed us to just enjoy our day! I cannot recommend them enough!

    Graceful Events was fantastic!! Highly recommend

    When I got engaged, my first thought was “I need a planner if we’re going to pull this wedding off successfully,” but what we got in Jenna as our wedding planner for the past 11mo was so much more - a planner, a friend, a confidant, and someone to make all the wedding chaos feel fun and most importantly EASY!

    I can’t say enough about the service Jenna from Graceful Events provided my mom and I as we planned the multi day event. From managing all the big things like vendor selection down to how you tip them, she was there with us (or on our behalf, making so easy for us) every step of the way. She helped us think of so many things you don’t even know to ask about, helped navigate negotiations and understand industry pricing, and made meeting (phone, email, in person) so convenient, especially for a bride traveling internationally and rarely available at “normal hours!” She even brought in a designer, Stephanie Huttner, to help frame our concept and look/feel of what we wanted the whole wedding day to look like by incorporating a "Design Board" that we kept referencing/changing as the ideas flowed and the planning began; and Stephanie and Jenna were able to visualize and put together a board even better than my mom and I could have dreamed. And the pre wedding stress does really kick in one month before, but Jenna's weekly checklists had us feeling in control and comfortable every step of the way. Not to mention having her as my right hand person on the wedding day itself - she was there keeping everyone (all vendors included) managed with logistics and timing - if anything went wrong that day, I sure didn’t notice it, because she’s that good :)

    The best in the biz!

    I wish I could give Graceful a million stars! I had originally hired them for a day of planner, which quickly turned into much more! Robyn was my lead and was AMAZING. Stephanie helped bring my decor visions to life and made them even more amazing! My ceremony was originally supposed to be outside and it ended up raining... all day. Robyn and Stephanie transformed a ballroom space into the prettiest most intimate space ever. Robyn was organized, solved for problems before they became issues, reminded me of things I did not think of and was so quick on her feet. Dealing with vendors, making timelines, floor plans, giving me advice on the little stuff, she did it ALL! Being an event planner myself, I did not know if the investment would be worth it, it SO was! Thank you for making our day so perfect
