If "I understood the assignment" was a person and business, then Taneshia and team would fit the bill. Golden Engagements Planning was the absolute best vendor we could have possibly hired. She made our fairy tale dream come true! Everything she and her partner decorator (Nicole Event Designs) promised us, they delivered. She was very aware of our needs leading up to our special day and on the day of our wedding, she kept us on time and kept me (the bride) very calm. I honestly can't say enough about this company, but if you are looking for a planner that is attentive, responsive, and is willing to make sure that your day a magical day...don't look any further than Golden Engagements Planning -

The Golden Engagements were excellent. Taneisha was suggested to me by a family friend who know I can be a bit particular. I was able to customize my package to get the assistance I need at the level and time I needed. Golden Engadget’s gave me excellent recommendations when. I was selecting vendors like photographer and catering. Communicated with me via email and text message to keep me on track with appointments and tastings. And the Dayof thee event, not only did she coordinate a call for my son wh was away in the marines and couldn’t get home. But at the last moment she was able to help my grandson eat suited up so he could walk his Nana the Aisle.
Britney and Marcus tag teamed the reception making sure me and my wedding party were served in style. They not only helped with making sure the table settings were perfect they stuck around help the team breakdown the event our glasses stayed full and everything went off without a hitch. If ever I need to plan another event best believe i will be calling Golden Engagements!!! -

As a vendor, I always look to see who I'll be working with before a wedding. I like to adjust my expectations accordingly. I hadn't worked with Golden Engagements before, so I was curious and excited. A couple of weeks ago, I received the friendliest, most professional call from Taneshia. I knew from our initial call that we would work well together. Two weeks prior, I was provided with ALL the necessary information I needed to perform my task as the couples' Officiant.
Upon arrival at the wedding, I was greeted with smiling faces. Taneshia's team was prompt and professional from planning to execution. They escorted me from point A to point B, graciously. When I say they were on top of everything, I mean THEY WERE ON IT! I highly recommend them to all engaged couples. Event Planning...they are the BEST. They are totally worth their price point. If you want it done right, choose Golden Engagements. -

I hired Tanisha and her team to be the day coordinator/ planner for my 30th birthday and let me tell you she DID NOT disappoint! She was on top of everything and every detail! She walked me through the whole planning process, Including vendor referrals which all were phenomenal! On the day of she made sure everything ran smoothly and her staff was so helpful and hard working! I definitely recommend her for any event! You will be soooo grateful! THANK YOU Tanisha ! Taniesha was VERY helpful and attentive. She kept things moving and was there when I wanted something. However, somehow, my veil was mistaken to be a TABLECLOTH? My Chapel length veil Was sent to the reception site. I reluctantly gave the decorating controls over and WILL NEVER do that again. The pull bows went unused. The floor length tablecloths that I had purchased were put in the kitchen at the reception site and not used to cover the tables. The few that were used, were placed on the wrong sized tables. None of the cloth napkins I had purchased were used. And I had asked her to wrap up my plate so that I could eat later but that was not done and I ended up asking one of my out of town guests for food from their to-go plate! She was VERY nice and attentive to me. She kept things moving. We were late getting to the church because of unforeseen circumstances and she adjusted things to that. Just, my wedding did not match the vision and expectations I had. Not all her fault. But my husband promised me a redo next year so... we will see if we can fix this!
UPDATE********
I saw that the vendor responded that they were not responsible for the decoration of anything. This was not what had been discussed. In fact, it was because of the agreement to decorate that I chose this vendor. Also, if you never stated you would decorate then why would you take all of the decorations? What a HUGE mistake I made but it was a learning moment. I am blessed that we can afford to redo our wedding next year. If you can’t, I suggest really being careful when choosing a coordinator.
