Fox Meadow Barn was the most perfect venue for our wedding. We’re so happy we found this place! The barn is absolutely stunning — warm, elegant, and surrounded by the most beautiful views. It created the perfect backdrop for our ceremony, and our guests kept raving about how gorgeous everything was.
Dixie was wonderful throughout the entire process. She’s incredibly thoughtful, kind, and accommodating, always quick to answer questions and make sure we had everything we needed.
We are forever grateful for the memories we made here. 🤍💍

We had the best experience working with Dixie and Fox Meadow Barn! They were so wonderful, helpful, and accommodating, and we truly had the wedding of our dreams! Dixie answered any and every question we had throughout the process and was so communicative and responsive. She made the planning process smooth and stress-free which we appreciated so much. The space is so beautiful and we have continued to get so many comments about how lovely and perfect the venue was. The outdoor ceremony space is stunning, the patio with glass enclosure is incredible (we had our bartender out here and it was amazing!), and the indoor space is so dreamy. There is something magical about Fox Meadow Barn! We recommend this venue completely! -

We had our wedding and ceremony at Fox Meadow Barn on 10/4/2025. Personally, I wouldn't have wanted to have my wedding anywhere else. The peace of mind knowing I could have my wedding outdoors OR indoors if it rained, made this venue a million times betters. When we came into the venue the morning of the wedding, everything was clean and we were ready to start the prep work of getting everything ready. Dixie was readily available for any questions we had which was SUPER helpful! We received so many compliments from our guests on the venue itself. The outdoor side covered patio, was a huge hit to host our photo booth as well as the appetizers for our cocktail hour. We had the BEST weather and while it was a tad hot standing outside for the ceremony, the barn remained cool inside which was nice for the guests. All of the items we used from Dixie, the chairs, tables, bar, etc. was ready for us to use as soon as we got to the venue. Having to have everyone out by midnight made me a little nervous, but all in all everyone from the wedding was gone by at 10:45 at the latest (which was super helpful). We so appreciate Dixie and her family for allowing us to have our wedding at Fox Meadow Barn. I would recommend this venue to all of my friends and family in the future. Thank you so much again Dixie!! -

Perfect Wedding Venue
Fox Meadow Barn was a delight to work with. We had many stops and starts on the road to the wedding day and they were accommodating and responsive. This mom of bride totally appreciated the immediate responses to almost any all requests and questions. The venue by itself is beautiful and so easy to personalize. On day of, everything was pristine and placed where requested and they were working off a hand drawn floor plan! We knew an outdoor ceremony in mid-March could be iffy, but an easy swap up to move inside was always an alternative and not needed as the weather was spectacular! -

Absolutely AMAZING! While the venue was absoutely stunning, the thing I am most grateful for most about booking with Fox Meadow was how gracious Dixie was, and just how much value we got with the venue.

Beautiful venue, perfect for our wedding. The venue is stunning on its own, which saves on decoration costs, but the outdoor area is perfect, as well. There is great space for enjoying the outdoors, dancing outside, playing yard games, and taking in the beautiful view of the mountains. Dixie was incredibly responsive and helpful and had everything ready to go, just as we'd requested, bright and early. -

* Where do I start with Fox Meadow Barn and the owner, Dixie?! From my first tour, Dixie was incredibly accommodating. Due to the venue being 2 hours away from me and the fall being peak season, I needed to tour during the week around 7:00 PM. Unfortunately, my husband couldn’t make that tour and I was unable to FaceTime him. Once again, Dixie accommodated us and let us do a self-guided tour the day before Thanksgiving. Just like me, my husband immediately loved it and wanted to call Dixie to book. We needed to come home and look at some more details before moving forward and Dixie never once pressured us. I reached out to 100+ venues across Virginia, DC, and Maryland, and many people were focused on sales and made me feel like just a number. Dixie made me feel like family! After booking, Dixie provided me with a ton of resources — a day of timeline example, a spreadsheet with vendors for everything imaginable, photos, and videos. No matter how many times I emailed or texted, Dixie responded within hours or less. She made being a DIY bride and planning my own wedding a breeze! In fact, because of Dixie and how much I enjoyed planning my wedding, I am strongly considering entering the wedding industry part time as a planner or coordinator. I cannot recommend Dixie and Fox Meadow Barn enough! I was not a barn bride until discovering Fox Meadow Barn. It is absolutely gorgeous! -

I had my wedding reception at Fox Meadow Barn and it was absolutely perfect! From the moment I reached out to Dixie, the owner and manager, I knew I had made the right choice. She was so easy to work with and always responded quickly to all my questions. Not only that, she provided resources to help me find vendors for all the services I needed. She truly goes above and beyond for her clients!
The venue itself was beautiful and so well maintained. We especially loved the covered patio for our guests to enjoy cocktail hour and a break from the dancefloor. On top of that, the cows on the neighboring farm even seemed to want to join in the wedding celebration and came as close to the barn as possible. It was so cute and made for the perfect backdrop for our pictures.
I would give Fox Meadow Barn 5 stars for their amazing service and beautiful venue. I am so happy I chose them for my wedding and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for an amazing wedding venue! -

Dixie is a joy to work with! She made things very simple and provided many resources to help planning THAT much easier. She provided a list of vendors she has worked with before, which helped me find the perfect vendors! Her venue is gorgeous, and I knew the first time I saw it I wanted to make sure my wedding took place there. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a lovely, rustic barn with gorgeous views! -

I can't recommend Fox Meadow Barn enough! We had such an awesome experience from our first meeting with Dixie. Dixie is so personable, accommodating, flexible, informative, etc. Everything you would want in a wedding venue. The venue itself is gorgeous - we got SO MANY compliments about every component of the venue. And we've actually had two friends choose to get married here too after seeing our wedding! We liked the "hands-off" approach their team took, but note that it will require a bit more attention and planning from you personally. But it was great for us to be able to make every decision ourselves! You won't regret getting married here, it's a beautiful spot owned by a group of people who want you to have the best wedding day ever! Thank you Dixie & Fox Meadow Barn! -

This was an amazing venue, the facility is beautiful and no stone is left unturned in terms of what any wedding needs. The owners were absolutely amazing, answering all and any questions and doing the best job to help streamline the process of the wedding as well as access to a decent series of wedding decorations and options. -

I just had my wedding on 9.9.22, and there are no words to describe how beautiful Fox meadows barn is. The location is breathtaking and it will be an unforgettable location for my husband and I. If you are thinking of looking into this venue, look no more. This is the spot.
We also cannot emphasize how great and amazing Dixie is (venue owner). She is one of the greatest people we know. She was great with communication and also is great with keeping Fox meadows beautiful.
We are eternally grateful! -

Highly Recommend
Fox Meadow Barn is such an amazing venue and I highly recommend it to anyone that wants a elegant but rustic feel. I am still getting compliments on how beautiful the property and building is. Dixie is extremely helpful and was amazing to work with. She always got back to us quickly and with all of the information we needed. It made it even more special to know I was working with a family owned and run business. You definitely can see how much effort and love they put into it. Highly Recommend -

When looking for a wedding venue for my daughter we came across Fox Meadow Barn and immediately knew it was the one! Working with Dixie, was so easy. She is very responsive with emails and when it got close the to wedding day, she was there to help with whatever we needed - The best thing I can say about Fox Meadow Barn is that it is truly a beautiful venue and it does not require alot of decorating. Its very reasonable priced and the extras you can add on such as table set up and clean up are definitely worth it. We had a beautiful wedding there and would highly recommend that everyone take a look at it before booking elsewhere. -

Beautiful venue!
Fox Meadows Barn is a beautiful place inside and out and the perfect place to have a wedding or really any event! The venue is well kept and clean. The owner Dixie was wonderful and answered my emails very quickly, answering any questions we had. She sent us several useful tips, ideas, and vendors to help with the wedding planning process and help ease the stress. There’s nothing I would change. Absolutely wonderful!

If you are looking for beautiful venue with a vendor that is helpful, knowledgeable, and accommodating Fox Meadow Barn is definitely a place you will want to visit. We had originally planned for an outdoor wedding, but the weather had other plans and we were able to change the inside to an intimate and romantic ceremony. Our guests enjoyed the venue immensely and received many compliments. Dixie is readily available to answer questions or concerns to help you have the best wedding experience. Without a doubt I would recommend this venue to any bride. -

We first met Dixie in fall of 2019 when booking our March 2020 wedding. Two scheduling changes later, we were finally able to celebrate on a gorgeous evening at Fox Meadow Barn in November 2021. Dixie was terrific to work with over those two years. She was responsive, understanding and flexible. And her venue only got prettier as our date approached! Our pictures turned out so well because of the gorgeous Appalachian scenery and the lovely barn. For us the place was just-right -- it's a barn but it includes modern amenities that's just rustic enough. We would highly recommend getting married at Fox Meadow Barn. -

This venue is beautiful inside and out! We had a November wedding and still insisted on some outdoor photos because we loved the patio/lights. The inside has an upscale barn look with all of the commodities (lights/ac/heat/bathrooms). I did minimal decorations because the venue spoke for itself. The kitchen and back entry were perfect for our vendors. Dixie was flexible when we had to postpone our wedding (Dec. 2020 to Nov. 2021) and I am so thankful for her! -

Amazing Venue Run By Amazing People!
This venue was absolutely beautiful and exactly what my Husband and I could have hoped for. Dixie was amazing throughout the whole process being flexible, kind, easy and fast to communicate with. She was even willing to help us out on our wedding day with little last minute things we needed! This is one of the most incredible wedding venues my husband and I had ever been to! We were blown away by the affordable price and the owner, Dixie, accommodated any request that we may have had! She is so flexible and easy to work with. She helped with any loose ends that needed tying up and overall our experience at this barn was so smooth. This is a day we will never forget. We highly rate the experience we had working with Dixie. The beauty of this barn is truly breathtaking and it sits in a field with nearly nothing around it. The barn is able to have weddings inside or outside. Anyone getting married should highly consider this beautiful venue. I don’t have words to adequately express my thankfulness about finding this barn! Although this is their first season of weddings it worked like clockwork and there were no bumps in how they operate. Beautiful barn, beautiful family who owns the barn and stunning place for a truly magical wedding experience. -

Amazing Venue!
I had an amazing wedding experience at Fox Meadow Barn! My husband and I were one of the first couples to book the new venue and got to experience it come together beautifully. We loved working with Dixie to create our dream wedding. She was always super quick to respond to emails and was extremely flexible with letting us come visit the venue many times before the wedding. Since we weren't able to book the venue the day before, Dixie was kind enough to let me pop by the Thursday before with some people to show them how I'd like it decorated on the day of. Dixie's venue also provided lots of decor, wine barrels, and large troughs for drinks. I loved having the bridal room to get ready in. It was so cute and just the right size! My favorite aspect of this venue though was the ease of being able to switch to an indoor ceremony if it rained. It saved me A LOT of stress leading up to the big day. In the end it was a beautiful day and wedding and I'd highly recommend this venue to anyone!! -

I can't begin to say enough good things about Fox Meadow Barn. I held a surprise 40th birthday party for my husband, and the venue was just perfect. Literally every guest commented on how beautiful it was. From the inside accommodations to the outside views, there is nothing that I wished was different. It was SO nice not to have to worry about the weather (too hot or too cold or rainy or too windy), or having to bring in restrooms (so clean!), or having to use outside rental companies for tables. Their attention to details with having a kitchen on site was SO helpful for storing ice and drinks ahead of time. Fox Meadow had EVERYTHING available for us, even a last minute tent to shade the bluegrass band outside. We had ~200 guests, and there was plenty of room for the 60+ kids to run around with flat areas for multiple bounces houses and yard games, and lots of space inside and out for people to mingle. Dixie (owner) was also so enjoyable to work with. She responded so quickly to any emails I sent her, was organized, on time, and just a overall very friendly person! She seemed genuinely excited about my event, which I appreciated.I would recommend this venue to anyone. It's a beautiful setting, close to town, and has everything anyone would need for a special day! -

We held our event at Fox Meadow Barn for 85 people and have nothing but amazing things to say about the Barn and Dixie, who is the owner. From start to finish of planning the event, everything was made extremely easy for us. Dixie handled everything above and beyond our expectations. She was there for every question and idea we had along the way, but also gave us the freedom to plan and execute the event in the exact way that we wanted. She handled the majority of the process (and had excellent communication with me along the entire way) and I was able to add my final touches in the way that I wanted to, without feeling like I was intruding on the space, but rather making it my own for the day of the event. The attendees had nothing but rave reviews as well.
Dixie designed the barn to offer modern amenities (indoor plumbing, heat, AC) while still offering the rustic craftmanship, yet romantic charm, in a beautiful rural setting. The views are truly one of a kind! The gleaming chandeliers, with the backdrop of a gorgeous floor to ceiling stone fireplace, are something that you have to see in person to appreciate. I love that this event space can be dressed up or down in whatever capacity desired, to match the ambiance of the event! If you are planning a wedding or event, I 100% suggest you look into Fox Meadow Barn before settling!

Amazing Rustic Modern Venue
I met Dixie through Claire at Cloverdale. She told me they were opening a new venue. I followed along through the build and watched as it was constructed. It was more beautiful in person than I could have imagined and love that we have such a modern farmhouse type venue in Winchester. I recently planned and photographed a styled shoot at Fox Meadow Barn with some of the best wedding professionals in the area and could not be more pleased with the outcome. The venue is gorgeous and can be utilized for any type of event, indoor, outdoor with sunsets on the deck and mountain views. It's a must see!
