Our Fontainebleau wedding is still being talked about by our friends and family because it was so spectacular.
We had a bit of a rough start with the Fontainebleau and the planner we were assigned. However, that planner disappeared (no idea what happened to her), Katie Bennett stepped in, and Katie worked hard to rectify her predecessor's mistakes; everything was smooth sailing from there. Big compliments to Katie for her hard work. Make sure to work with Katie!
We had a lovely ceremony on the lawn and our reception was in the main ballroom with our band playing on the stage Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack used to frequent. Talk about an amazing and fun experience! Believe it or not, the food is really good. When we went to our food tasting we were told the food would be very good. Neither of us really believed that because it is hotel wedding food, but we were blown away...it was the best wedding food we have ever had. Our wedding cake was equally fantastic.
The hotel obviously handles many weddings and has their plan down to an art. Some things the hotel set for us, which at first seemed odd, turned out to be brilliant, like our suite which was large and somewhat odd, but turned out to have tons of space for the bridal party to prepare (including enough outlets for hair dryers and curling irons) and great balconies for pictures. Very well thought out and made our experience that much better.
The pool area is fantastic and gave our guests a great area to hang out during the day before the ceremony.
We had many options for wedding venues and it was a tough decision to make. We couldn't be happier that we picked the Fontainebleau. -

Katie and the Fontainebleau Team were exceptional! They went out of their way to make our special day run smoothly. We planned our destination wedding from NY, and Katie was the best with planning, emailing, and calling us to help set everything up and answer all of our questions. The venue is gorgeous and worth every penny, they also really work with you to make it all doable. The food was perfect, the staff was great. We had our rehearsal dinner at Scarpetta (Italian) it was to die for. If you want to impress your guests and have a beautiful wedding in Miami call Katie and have it at the Fontainebleau. : ) -

My wedding at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach was all I ever dreamed and more. The food selections, the staff, and amenities were all top notch and they made my wedding day dreams a reality. I cannot put into words how much I recommend having a wedding at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach. To top it off I had the best event Floral Designer and Event Decorator in South Florida. Dream Occasions Studio was able to create everything I envisioned and made my wedding ceremony and reception look amazing with the freshest flowers and artistic floral creations and decorating. I will forever have the best memories of my wedding day with the most amazing photographer in South Florida, Couture Bridal Photography. Alfredo did an amazing job capturing my wedding day from beginning to end and captured every detail and emotion throughout the day.
I recommend the Fontainebleau Miami Beach, Dream Occasions Studio and Couture Bridal Photography for any weddings. -

Staff:
Katie worked with us for our wedding. She was very nice, calm, and on top of things throughout the whole process. She was incredible to work with! Katie along with our planner Carrie Zack made our wedding just from the service they provided. Very professional and easy to work with. She made sure everything was taken care of for our family's stay as well. We couldn't have asked for any one better. Anything we needed they were on top of it, always easy to get ahold of, and always responded quickly. VIP staff were beyond helpful and so nice. They truly made our stay - nothing we asked for was an issue. You could easily spend the same amount of money and receive half of what you get at the Fontainebleau. Katie and the VIP staff made things better than expected!
Food:
We almost didn't do tastings but I am so glad we did, it was a big part of the whole process. Food, wine desserts, drinks, and service was incredible! The food for the wedding was still good but not quite the same as in the tastings. The open bar, wine, champagne, and 3 course meal is a great deal for The $200+ you will pay per person.
Rehearsal:
We did the rehearsal dinner at Scarpetta which was recommended to us. If I were to do it over I would have had it privately catered by the Fontainebleau at a location onsite. Scarpetta food was OK, service was OK, we were at one long table and it was difficult to talk to each other.
Cost:
In regards to the per person cost it is a great value.
Spa:
I chose to have our hair and make up done at Lapis Salon. They did a great job.

The Fontainebleau Miami Beach provides brides the Wedding day of their dreams. The catering sales manager takes care of the details, work with the vendors (DJ, Band, Flowers) right to the very end to make our day a reality. The food for the wedding is not like any other, it is top of the line, my husband and I are in the food industry we know good food. We were impress that from every department, everyone in this hotel is very very professional, from the valet, the clerks at the store, all the way to the GM are personable. This incredible venue creates memories not just for a wedding album for years to come, but for every guest that attends the wedding. I would change nothing about this day, it was perfect, because they made it perfect! -

Fontainbleau in Miami Beach is an amazing venue to have your wedding with views of the ocean and gorgeous pools either day or nigt. Our Event specialist - Katie Bennett - was amazing and responsive. Her recommendation of experienced vendors made our wedding a huge success. We had an amazing time and highly recommend as they can customize to your specfic needs and budget considerations. -

I will truly recomend them. I had The Wedding of my dreams and part of it was possible because of Fountainebleu. My family and I are very thankful for the great service that we received. I want to thank a special someone, Arlene Ruiz , this women did an exemptional work. She went above and beyond all out expectations; she is a very kind, sweet and professional person, qualities that are hard to find all in one person. The food was delicious and the presentation was amazing; very beautiful!!!! The cake was awesome!!! Excellent service at all times and all my guests loved the bar. I will like to conclude by saying that I will definitely use their services for any occasion. My wedding was like a fairy tale story. -

5 stars does not do this venue justice, the service and the personal attention are above and beyond that! Arlene Ruiz was more than just another vendor manager she was sincerely just as excited as you were about your event. Truly a memorable experience. I would not change one part of it. -

Our wedding was truly the greatest day of our lives, due in large part to the FB wedding coordinator, Katie Bennett. Ms. Bennett attended to every detail of our wedding from beginning to end. She is truly an assett to the hotel and I suggest you utilize her talents. The FB is a must for a Miami Wedding as it is both beautiful and all encompassing for whatever size wedding you want (we had 30 guests).
It really is a dream place to have a wedding. I would suggest renting cabanas for the day before and day of the wedding for your guests.
We can't wait to go back. -

The Fontainebleau delivered on what our guests are still raving about, a "fairy tale wedding". We were working with Katie Bennett, catering sales manager @ Fontainebleau for quite some time on the event and she was outstanding. She always demonstrated the highest level of professionalism, was extremely responsive and an absolute pleasure to deal with.
As for the hotel, the grounds are amazing. The reception hall was beutiful, and the food was great quality, definitely met all of our needs.
Most people always have some minor regrets when discussing the outcome of the wedding. Not in our case! Katie and the team at Fontainebleau delivered beyond our expectations.
I would highly recommend this venue for a great wedding that will please you and your guests very much.

The Fontainebleau Miami Beach is a great place to have your wedding! We had our reception there and Arlene Ruiz in the catering department was absolutely wonderful to work with. She responded to emails quickly, was super attentive (even when I'd email her 5 times a day) even when she was sick the week of the wedding! We all felt like the event was in reliable hands with her. Plus, the service for all of us the day of when we were getting ready was great, the food was wonderful, and the service was fantastic. I especially loved that when my new husband and I came in during cocktails, a waitress came over to us with a tray of appetizers meant specifically for us. Even guarded! Thank you Fontainebleau! The wedding was awesome and beautiful and everyone loved it! -

When I booked this venue for my wedding, I had no idea it would have been as amazing as it was. Everything from the initial tour to the banquet captain serving my husband was amazing. A little pricey but well worth every penny. -

Arlene Ruiz with catering at the Fontainebleau is simply amazing. She help turn our dream wedding into reality. She went above and beyond to make our day special and exceeded our expectations in every way. If you are considering a place to get married or hold an event there is no better place because the sheer size and options are limitless and most importantly Arlene and the assistance provided was phenomenal. -

We had our Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, and Wedding at Fontainebleau and it was wonderful! From the moment we checked in to our Wedding Suite to the last song, we had a great experience with everything Fontainebleau provided. We can't thank Katie (our event manager) enough for making our wedding such a success.
We had an unforgettable wedding weekend and would highly recommend any couple to explore Fontainebleau. Ask for Katie and she will make it happen! -

Our wedding was 12 days ago and the memories created at the AMAZING Fontainebleau will last a lifetime!!! Carrie Zack our wedding planner (preferred planner for Fontainebleau) was unbelievable and went above and beyond the call of duty making EVERYTHING come together perfectly!! Arlene Ruiz head of catering was wonderful to work with, exceptionally professional, took great pride in our needs and made us feel like A list celebrities! I highly recommend these two fabulous women!!! The staff at Fontainebleau is super! Our guests were blown away by the venue...ceremony held outside at the Oasis Pool Cabana and reception inside Fontaine/Fleur De Lis! If you are getting married soon or at any point in your life...FONTAINEBLEAU will surely give you that dream wedding every couple wishes for!!! A+++++ We now call it our home away from home!!! -

Katie was always available when we needed and helps us even with other vendors. It was a pleasure to work with her and we would recommend the Fontainbleau to any couple that would want to have a magical wedding celebration.
