Ivette was recommended to us by my cousin. She had been the planner for his daughter's wedding and they loved her, and I can see why. She is more than a day of coordinator...she works with you a year before to get all the info and give suggestions, and the month of she ramps it up to make sure everything is on track. The weekend of my daughter's wedding was practically flawless in a very large part because of her. She worked non-stop the entire weekend. She is knowledgeable, professional, very hard working and very easy to communicate with. I was able to relax with the bridal party the day of the wedding because I knew Ivette was taking care of everything. I could not have done it without her and I fully recommend her without hesitation. -

Planned a wedding in 2 months
After our original wedding plans in Asheville fell through, we decided to get married in the Florida Keys. The venue I had my heart set on only had availability two months away and somehow Ivette planned our entire two-day wedding in less time than that.
She truly made it happen.
From the very beginning she was always available. No matter how small the question or how overwhelmed I felt, she was there to help and keep things moving forward. She stayed on site both days from morning through night and handled every little detail so we could actually enjoy the day.
So grateful she was part of it.

Ivette was incredible and went above and beyond to make our special day as simple yet perfect as possible. From helping to coordinate with vendors to helping us figure out our marriage license since we were coming from out of state, she did a wonderful job of assisting us. She was able to provide us with table decor for us as well, which was great since we had to fly in and couldn’t bring much with us! Her communication was professional and she was available whenever we had questions or needed help. My (now husband) and I got engaged and married within three months. A few weeks in, here comes Ivette to the rescue right before I became overwhelmed enough to convince me to elope and just surprise everyone with a big party to celebrate instead… 😅
She helped me through anything I asked and more. Her super sweet team (thank you Monica and Yaire!) was above and beyond on my wedding day. From helping us figure out where/how to do our “first touch” to cleaning up so much without me even noticing being aware; I am so greatful to have had the three of you there making sure my Barbie wedding vision came to life (in 2.5 months 🥹) and things that weren’t necessarily on time still went so smoothly it didn’t even matter. I highly recommend Ivette as a wedding coordinator. She helped me find creative ways to keep costs low and keep things simple while still creating a perfect day with all the details we cared about. She’s fun, efficient, and gets things done. With Ivette you don’t have to worry at all about anything sipping through the cracks. She’s got you. I’m so thankful she made our special day worry free and a beautiful occasion! After the wedding, I even got this text from one of my family members: “I’ve been to many many weddings in my day that was by far one of the best and most organized events I’ve ever been to. Food was incredible. Congratulations.” By the way, Ivette has excellent recommendations for food and vendors - we got to have amazing service without breaking the bank and would’ve been lost on who to hire without her. We used Delicias Gourmet out of Miami upon her suggestion. I’ve never had such delicious food, in large quantities and on such a low budget! -

Great Wedding Coordinator
I wholeheartedly recommend Ivette Chao, Florida Keys Day-of Coordinator, for your wedding. We married in November 2024 with 130 guests, and there’s no way we could have pulled it off without her. While she’s officially a “day-of” coordinator, Ivette did so much more for us. About six months before the wedding, she reached out to help us line up vendors and provided helpful worksheets to start planning the smaller details. As the big day approached, she coordinated everything—vendors, logistics, and even assisted with our welcome party the day before.
She also let us borrow from her extensive collection of wedding essentials—things like card boxes, table numbers, and even the ring bearer sign—at no extra cost. Ivette was there from early morning, overseeing the delivery of rentals to two separate locations, all the way into the evening, making sure our personal table settings were packed away. She set up the welcome book and remembrance table, and was present when we walked down the aisle. Even after the ceremony, she stayed to help coordinate family photos.
Her involvement made the entire process so much easier and stress-free. If anything went wrong, it was so minor that no one even noticed. I also want to mention how gracious and patient Ivette was with us after we had to postpone our wedding by a year. She had already invested so much time and effort, yet she made the rebooking process seamless and stress-free. I can’t thank her enough for making our wedding day go perfectly. -

Cheeca Wedding!
Do not hesitate, hire IVETTE now! We got married October 19, 2024 at Cheeca Lodge and spa. I booked Cheeca that same year in February and had almost 100 guests attending. Ivette did everything to help me leading up to the wedding and CRUSHED IT on my actual wedding day. She met with me 3 times before the wedding (not including the rehearsal) had multiple phone conversations with me and always promptly texting back and forth with me. Hiring Ivette will also save you money in the long run because she has great connections and can help you secure well priced vendors. Ivette also came through on the aesthetic look that I was going for as well! She made sure everything was exactly how I asked for it to be and honestly it exceeded my expectations. She cares about all the little details!! 🤍🙏🏼
Our wedding day was so smooth and seamless, since the wedding we've had so many guests and family come to us and say that this is the BEST wedding they have ever been to. I give so much credit to Ivette in making our wedding day, the best day of our lives, truly. -

On my first call with Ivette, she said something that stood out to me and it is the reason I chose her, she said she wasn't the type of planner that just looked pretty and stood around with a clipboard, she was that type of planner that got things done. She was definitely right about that!! Choosing her was the best decision we made. During the week of our wedding, we had quite a few last minute issues arise which as the bride, sent me into a panic, but Ivette handled everything with grace and faster than I could have ever imagined. June Wedding at the Islander Resort
We can’t say enough good things about Ivette! From our first intro call to tying up the final details post-wedding, Ivette exuded unparalleled support, care, and attention to detail. Ivette went above and beyond the typical responsibilities of a month-of-coordinator at all times. Well before month-of, Ivette was willing and eager to provide recommendations and guidance for vendor selection and venue coordination. In the month leading up to our big day, Ivette was the picture of organization and experience. She worked hand-in-hand with us on our schedule, venue homework packet, and vendor coordination, and she was always willing to provide guidance and expertise (or even make the final say) when we hit points of indecision as a couple. On the day of our wedding, Ivette picked up our flowers for us, coordinated with all of our vendors, and set up all of our ceremony and reception details (including ceremony signage, a card box, table numbers, centerpieces, and place settings – all of which she designed and supplied herself at no cost to us). This was an incredible weight (and cost!) off of our shoulders, and it allowed us to cruise through our wedding weekend worry-free. Finally, following our wedding, Ivette returned our marriage papers to the clerk’s office on our behalf and was sure to check in with us and send us off with merry wishes. We are so thankful for the time we spent working with Ivette, and we would hands-down recommend her to any and all couples getting married in the Florida Keys! She is an AMAZING Coordinator!
Ivette was very responsive during the planning phase over the last 9 months of planning. Once we came down to the Keys she reached out and made sure we were all on the same page of expectations, schedules, and even with rehearsal. We live in Tampa & we had our wedding in Key Largo. I ended up not hiring a wedding planner and doing a majority of the planning myself, but I for sure wanted someone to help with the day of. Ivette helped me coordinate everything for the actual day and made sure everyone was on board with what we wanted. Her assistant, Caroline, was present for rehearsal and for the day of the wedding. Wow!! She took so much stress off of me. She took care of everything. I can be a very anxious person as I'm sure most brides are the day of their wedding, but Caroline kept in contact with me throughout the day & made sure everything was set the way I wanted which gave me reassurance. Ivette even later drove down 2 hrs from Key West to check and make sure everything was going smoothly. My expectations were exceeded!! They took so much stress from me. If you’re wondering whether or not Ivette is the right coordinator for you, let me help you - SHE IS! She was absolutely amazing. From the very beginning, she was the most responsive of any coordinator I had been in contact with, and she makes you feel like an old friend, not a client. She will make sure you are feeling 100% confident and prepared ahead of your wedding day, and takes care of every single last detail for you. On the big day, Ivette kept reminding me “All you have to worry about is looking pretty” because she was doing everything else. She even made plates of food during the cocktail hour and for dessert and brought them to us so we were sure to eat. SHE IS THE BEST!! You will NOT regret booking her - do it!! -

I needed to hire a day of coordinator for my wedding day and had no idea where to begin. I started looking up coordinators on WeddingWire just a month before my wedding and found Florida Keys Day of Coordinator. Ivette had wonderful reviews so like most of my destination wedding decisions, I took a chance and I called. I AM BEYONG HAPPY I DID!!! Ivette answered right away excited to help with my wedding. It was at that moment she felt like family to me. One of the first things Ivette said to me was she doesn't like to consider herself a day of coordinator, she likes month of coordinator. As this is the time and dedication she put into my wedding. Also her pricing was right where I wanted to be. Over our month together we had multiple conversations on the phone, texts and emails to make sure we were on the same page and covered everything. I am very particular and wanted everything as I imagined it. I sent Ivette pictures and info on how I wanted everything setup. Ivette was so confident in what she does she made me feel at ease right away, all my trust was in her!
The day before our wedding she showed up to our venue for our rehearsal. This was the first time I had met Ivette in person. She is friendly, Patience and so very kind! I truly felt like I knew her for years. She helped us run through our wedding ceremony and what everyone will do.
On our wedding day Ivette showed up 5 1/2 hours before hand, said good morning to everyone with a huge smile and a hug and got straight to work. Her and her assistant worked vigorously for hours to set everything up. From our Arch decor & Isle decor to our welcome table & ALL of our reception tables, bar & cake table. EVERY single detail was PERFECT! Through out the evening she made sure to calmly have control and stick to our timeline to ensure we had enough time for all our plans. She helped clean up and pack all my wedding decor at the end of the night. She definitely worked her butt off for 13 hours straight. With out her I would not have been able to enjoy my big day as I did.
Out of all the vendors I hired for our wedding, Ivette was my absolute favorite person! If I could give her a 10 star for her hard work that is exactly what I would give. She was a complete joy to work with. Saying good bye to her at the end of the night just didn't feel right. Ivette has a forever friend in me!!!!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Ivette! She truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was as perfect as possible and so that I didn’t have to stress at all on my big day. Leading up to our wedding she had tons of great suggestions for music, florists, local makeup teams, cake and dessert teams, she even found us an espresso guy for after dinner! Ivette’s trove of wedding stuff also came in really handy, and saved us a ton! We were able to utilize her lanterns, tea lights, card box, signs, and several other items from her collection. Working with Ivette was like working with family, she’s kind, she’s patient, and she’s prepared to do whatever it takes to make sure you get what you’ve always hoped for on your special day! Ivette made our dream wedding happen...
We found Ivette through weddingwire and after our first meeting we were immediately impressed by her organizational skills and creativity. She offered a great price for her services and was a pleasure to work with. She really blew me away on the wedding day. She did an amazing job coordinating and interfacing with our vendors, helped set up the space BEAUTIFULLY including our sweetheart table, and made sure everything ran on time. At the end of the night she gathered all our things including the cake, bouquet, cards, and even my husband's jacket and placed them in the room for us. We did not have to think about anything, which truly allowed us to be in the moment and enjoy the party with our family and friends. This is invaluable on your wedding day! She and her team organized all the vendors, helped set up the dance floor/ audiovisual system, and did a ton of other work that made the day-of a breeze.
One thing to know about Ivette is that she is very no-nonsense during the planning process and will (very politely) let you know if something you are planning is not going to work, if you are behind schedule, getting ripped off by another vendor, etc. I really appreciated her style of communication- it is easy to get lost in many details of wedding planning and it was great to have someone keep me on track and point out the important things that needed to be taken care of. She is a great communicator and super efficient. We could not have pulled off our dream wedding without her!

Snedden Wedding July 2021
We were lucky to have both Ivette and Caroline involved in our special day. I was very indecisive about my table decorations and gave them both free range to just make it beautiful! I was not disappointed!!! I also needed a steamer for my dress and Ivette ordered one and had it there for me on my special day! Caroline took over for Ivette on the day of and I couldn’t have been happier! She was so very professional and organized. She kept us on schedule and made sure everything was just right! Ivette is THE BEST! I know for a fact my wedding would not have been the dream wedding i have always envisioned if it weren't for her. Ivette was so helpful from the first moment I spoke to her on the phone. She helped to guide me towards vendors and understand the options since I live many states away. I really couldn’t have pulled my big day off without Ivette. Obviously our process was a trying one with the pandemic but she was there for me every step of the way. Ivette went above and beyond for us the day of the wedding as well whether it was rallying the groomsmen together, setting up our beautiful ceremony or making the tables exactly what I dreamed of for this very special day. I couldn’t have done half of the decorating that I wanted without her help and the services she provided! Day of also did not correspond with her at all, throughout the whole process after hiring her we spoke week to week about final touches and plans because I was out of state! Ivette and Karla....there aren’t enough characters available in this review to fully impart what they did, not only for my Husband and I, but also for our guests. I selected Ivette at the last minute (2weeks prior) to our wedding, and her patience, concern and “make it happen” demeanor kept me sane and focused. Her knowledge on not only Weddings and festive events is equal to her knowledge of the Islands, the other vendors and the history of the area. Ivette was consistent in pointing out ways we could save money, and provided pieces and decorative items from her own personal collection. Ivette also assisted me in selecting other vendors, and subtly pointing out ones that I am sure were not “recommendable” lol. What I like is that she was professional in doing so, and didn’t speak negative at any time about any of the vendors. At the last minute, I realized that while I had ordered bouquets for my bridesmaids, I didn’t order one for myself and she promptly ordered fresh flowers and made an exquisite one on the spot. Karla demeanor during the preparing to walk down the aisle and revelry was constantly praised by my mother, my Aunts and other guests. Karla made sure everyone came to her, for any concern I was told and later realized. My Husband and I only focus because of her diligence was to enjoy our guests and each other.
These two classy, genuine ladies have found their natural calling, taking care of people on one of the most memorable days of their lives. -

Ivette is the absolute BEST! Where do I even start with her? .. she did everything to make sure my wedding went smoothly. She even helped me plan the entire wedding months before it even took place. When the wind picked up and she knew the plastics wouldn’t stay, she made a quick decision to rent ceramics to make sure everything was perfect. My wedding would not have been possible without Ivette. I became so close to her, when we would hang up from chatting I would say, “I love you!” She became a part of our family from the day we booked her. This women has no limitations! She even ordered last minute decorations that I completely forgot about that she remembered 2 days before the wedding. She saved us a TON of money on food that we were able to serve the food at the reception, wedding, and breakfast the day after the wedding. Ivette is beyond amazing and I just want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our day/weekend unforgettable. We love you! -

Ivette and her team are the absolute best. Absolutely amazing! Down to earth, organized and totally there for you every step of the way. I went into our wedding planning thinking I wouldn’t hire a “wedding planner” and we (my mother, sister, and I) could just do it all ourselves. Quickly realizing weddings are not simple (no matter how basic you want them to be) my mom started to look around. Ivette came highly recommended so my mom decided we would go with her, AND SHE DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Ivette and her team at Florida Keys Day Of Coordinator were an absolute joy to work with. I did not use a wedding planner and at times this can be very stressful. Florida Keys Day of Coordinator and Ivette were so much more than a day of wedding coordinator to us. Ivette always gave me excellent advice and listened to me rant on and on about every small detail, all while taking notes and asking questions to make sure she was able to make the day flow PERFECTLY. She kept track of my contacts, she communicated with the vendors, she designed my timeline, and she made me feel confident that our big day was going to be just as wonderful (better) than I had imagined. Once we arrived in Key Largo, Ivette met with us to do a walk through and go over any last minute details. On the morning of the wedding, Ivette continued to check in with me to assure me that everything was going perfectly. What can I say but WOW. To see your vision come to life is the absolute best feeling. Our wedding day was beyond my expectations. Every detail was executed perfectly. We had a large bridal party (24 people), and Ivette made sure that they were where they needed to be at the correct time. And let me tell you they were a wild bunch! Every guest that we spoke with said it was the best wedding they have ever been too. Thank you so much Ivette and team for EVERYTHING! I am happy to have walked away from my wedding day with a friend.

Ivette was an absolutely angel to us! We had a beautiful wedding on a private island in Conch Key and choosing a private venue came with a host of logistical challenges. Ivette took care of everything: coordinating with vendors, ensuring our timeline, and making decisions when needed.
