Best decision we made!
If you're considering working with First Coast for your wedding, this is your sign to DO IT! Heather and her team were hands down the best decision we made throughout the entire process. From the detail and care put into our very first phone call, to pivoting quickly when we had to change our wedding date, to making sure everything went perfectly the day-of (despite a quick post-ceremony rain shower), Heather made the entire process enjoyable, smooth, and stress-free. The First Coast team came with a wealth of knowledge and helped us literally every step of the way. They made our dream wedding come to life and it somehow exceeded every expectation we had. I don't think Heather ever said "no" to any of our requests and made everything happen with ease and grace, all while staying within our budget. I cannot recommend First Coast Weddings and Events enough! -

Laura was exactly the wedding planner we needed. She helped us think through every detail so we always felt prepared and confident throughout the planning process. Her availability and willingness to meet with us made everything feel manageable, even when a lot was happening at once.
On the wedding day, Laura and her team kept everything running smoothly. They knew TPC Sawgrass well, worked well with our vendors, and handled the details so we could focus on the day itself.
We highly recommend Laura and First Coast Weddings to anyone getting married in the Ponte Vedra Beach area. We are very grateful for her support, friendship, and for making our Wedding the best day of our lives! -

First Coast Weddings gave us our dream wedding!
Heather and her team were absolutely incredible throughout this entire process. She kept us on a great timeline, found incredible vendors, and generally took a huge load off of our plates during this busy time. Heather also provides a sweet, comforting, and calming presence both on the big day and at every meeting leading up to the wedding. She struck the perfect balance of providing helpful information while also encouraging us to express what we wanted on our day. I came in with not a lot of clarity on what I wanted the day to look like and she was amazing at guiding us and helping craft the perfect wedding. Her communication was consistent and excellent and everyone was incredibly professional. The wedding day was everything we hoped for and more and I could not recommend Heather and the First Coast Wedding team highly enough!! -

Ponte Vedra Wedding
Hiring Laura and the First Coast team will be the best decision you make ahead of your wedding. Not only is Laura professional, thorough, and detail oriented, but she's also incredibly nice and caring. On our wedding day, it was a true 50/50 if we would be able to have the ceremony outside due to storms in the area. Watching Laura handle venue logistics, handle the bride and groom (plus family) and pull off giving us our outdoor dream wedding, was seeing a true professional in action. Laura is the type of planner you'd want to strategize with on the phone for an hour, but also talk about life with over a meal or drink. Lastly, she knows the Jax area extremely well (we got marries in Ponte Vedra) and had done several events at both our rehearsal and wedding venues, making the entire experience smooth and stress free. We encourage you to hire Laura as we did, you will be as thrilled as we are! -

A game changer
I knew planning my daughter's out of town wedding was going to be a challenge and that I would need help. We decided to add the services of a day of coordinator from First Coast to help us get through the big day as seamless as possible and boy did they deliver. Laura, Kari and Emma were absolute game changers. They helped select vendors, reviewed the contracts and coordinated all the vendors the day of the wedding and so much more. I could relax and enjoy being a guest at the wedding instead of worrying about the million details. On addition, all three were very responsive to e mails and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend using a planner and First Coast is the best of the best. -

First Coast Weddings
What was in our hearts was love. What we wanted to share with our closets friends was the love we had for one another a for them to celebrate in that joy with us. We didn’t have a vision or story board or Pinterest to fully articulate what that would look like, but what we felt on our wedding day was exactly our hearts desire. What was felt that day could not be engineered or curated perfectly just for “the gram”
Laura is just that good at what she does- and this is the why- she cared so deeply about understanding who we were as a couple. She is communicative, capable, organized, professional and has a great network of vendors. Her expertise allowed us to just be and enjoy every moment of the day! Not to mention, she is the kindest sweetest person and I know she also cares about our happily ever after- after we say “I do.” I’m happy she was there to celebrate with us on our wedding as our planner and also consider her a friend.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Laura Salmon as our wedding coordinator, and we cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional service and expertise she provided. From the very beginning of our wedding planning journey until the last dance on our special day, Laura was there to assist with each step and made our lives easier! She guided us through every decision, from coordinating timelines to finalizing vendor discussions, and ensuring that every element of our wedding was flawlessly executed. Her experience and industry knowledge was invaluable, providing us with a sense of reassurance and confidence during what can often be a stressful time! On our wedding day, Laura and her assistant Savannah truly made our day the best. They orchestrated every aspect of the event, ensuring that everything flowed seamlessly. Their calm demeanor and ability to handle any unexpected situations allowed us and our families to relax and fully enjoy the day. We ultimately had to change our ceremony location at the last moment due to a rain storm, and luckily Laura and her team were there to help deliver the message to us and to ensure that we still had the best wedding we could've dreamed of. She made the necessary adjustments at the last minute, even utilizing table arrangements at the ceremony to still provide beautiful backdrop for our ceremony. Beyond Laura's organizational and creative talents, she was also an incredible source of support throughout the day. She provided guidance and a calming presence during moments of stress or nervousness with the weather changes throughout the day. I recently worked with Laura and First Coast Wedding & Events for my special day, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, Laura went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding day was everything we wanted and more. Everything ran smoothly and our guests had a memorable experience.
The communication leading up to the event was clear and timely. Laura was always available to answer our questions and offer advice, and she made us feel confident and comfortable every step of the way. On the day of the wedding, everything was executed flawlessly, from the setup to the timing of the events.
The attention to detail was impressive, and my wedding party and guests were blown away by the level of service provided. Laura and her team were professional, courteous, and went out of their way to make sure everyone was taken care of.

Best Wedding Planner in Ponte Vedra/Jacksonville!!
First Coast Weddings, specifically Laura Salmon, was the absolute best wedding planner I could have hired for my big day. She is extremely knowledgeable about the industry and my wedding venue, TPC Sawgrass. The process was seamless from the day we began planning and through our wedding day. I loved the online planning tools First Coast made available to us and their amazing seating chart resources. Laura always worked with our tight schedule and made herself available which meant so much to me. She actually listened to how I wanted my wedding timeline to go and made sure every detail was perfect until the end. Weddings can sometimes be stressful but Laura took that part out for me so I could enjoy every moment. I cannot recommend Laura or her staff more for your wedding day. 1000/10. -

I cannot recommend First Coast Weddings and Events enough! Laura was our coordinator, and she made our day absolutely perfect!! Leading up to the big day, Laura was such a pleasure to work with and was beyond organized and on top of everything!
Our wedding was more than I could ever imagine. If anything did go wrong at our wedding, I didn't even know! She handled everything and was behind the scenes making sure everything was perfect! She was so prepared and had an "emergency kit" with everything you could ever need! My dress ripped- She had a sewing kit. Had a stain- Tide to go! Lots of safety pins too! The best decision you’ll make!
Laura from first coast made wedding day easier than I ever imagined. From the start Laura was so helpful and was always available to help address any questions or concerns that we had. It was like talking to a good friend every time we talked with her too! On wedding day she took care of everything and did it just the way we had communicated with her. If there was anything people were unsure of Laura was always able to go above and beyond to help and get it taken care of. I cannot recommend Laura and First Coast Weddings enough. -

Completely worth it!
I was very hesitant to get a day of coordinator and I would completely recommend one if you are debating it. I reached out to First Coast 45 days before my wedding and it was absolutely worth every penny. Heather and Laura were fantastic and took all of the pressure and planning off of me and my family the day of the wedding. They were very easy to reach if I needed them and communicated multiple times to make sure everything went the way that I wanted it. Thank you again, I couldn't imagine my wedding without your help -

Easy Partner for the Big Day- Patient, Organized, Calm
Heather Randall was fabulous to work with from start to finish. She has a calm demeanor which is appreciated and she is organized and fast to act on to-dos, quickly following up with other vendors and keeping us on track with decisions and more. She offered good perspective when asked but never interfered where not appropriate. She balanced the preferences of us as a couple as well as my family. She helped us feel confident things were taken care of. She even went above and beyond to final little ways to make us feel special as a couple-- gifting us a small German tradition (given the German groom)! Highly recommend as a partner in this process. I would recommend a wedding planner to anyone, especially First Coast! It is definitely worth the money and it takes the stress off of the bride-to-be. We worked with Kari and she was amazing! She reached out to all my vendors for me which gave me more time for other things. She was very responsive any time I had a question and she even texted me ideas for my wedding! She always made sure that everything was exactly how I wanted it. A day of coordinator is perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy their wedding without having to worry about the timeline of events. Great Experience!
Our wedding was August 22, 2020 and the day we decided to have Laura Salmon with First Coast Wedding and Events assist us as our wedding planner was the best decision we ever could have made. Our wedding date was originally scheduled for May, but due to the global pandemic it had to be rescheduled to August. Laura was right there for us through it all, from contacting our vendors to ensure all dates were rescheduled with no conflicts. She was so genuine and always took the time to reach out to us to make sure we were emotionally doing OK. Her organization with us really worked well with our personalities and we never had to follow up on anything. She always had it all covered. She ensured we had check in meetings to always ensure we were on track with things we needed to have done prior to the wedding date. Laura left no stone unturned and I am so grateful to have had her throughout this process and on our wedding day. She worked very well with our venue coordinator with a wedding day timeline which made everything flow seamlessly. Planning a wedding is beyond stressful but I can't even imagine how we could have ever done it all without Laura, she is definitely one of the best!

A Must for Planning your First Coast Wedding
Like many brides-to-be, our daughter had to postpone her Spring 2020 wedding due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Laura Salmon and the team at First Coast Weddings made this stressful time and process so much easier: In addition to providing us with the information needed to make the decision to reschedule the wedding, Laura notified all of the vendors of the new date and facilitated the signing of any contract addenda that were needed.
Throughout the next four months, Laura stayed in touch with us, reassuring us that the wedding we had envisioned was still a possibility and offering her assistance with everything from venue signage to favors. On the day of the wedding itself, she and her assistant were invaluable: From the moment they arrived three hours before the ceremony until well after the reception had concluded, they made sure everything was set up and that all vendors and members of the bridal party arrived on time and knew where to go. They also made sure all gifts and personal family items were packed up and delivered to us during their final sweep of the venue late that evening.
Laura's calm demeanor and attention to every detail allowed us to relax, breathe and enjoy the day for which we had waited so long. Securing Laura's services was the best investment we made in planning our daughter's wedding and we highly recommend her services. -

Very Necessary, Very Wonderful
We were married at TPC Sawgrass and went back and forth on whether we needed a day-of coordinator-- I am grateful we made the decision to hire Heather for the full day! Heather is PERFECT. They take care of everything so you can enjoy your day
I had the best experience working with First Coast Weddings last July. Every time I had a concern or question, their team had already thought through the scenario and had a ready solution. From the dress rehearsal to the day itself I never had to worry about people knowing where to be or when to move. Knowing that I had the First Coast Weddings team running everything behind the scenes and coordinating with my Church and venue staff gave me the freedom to focus on my wedding and not worry about my guests. I could not recommend them more highly! -

Heather is amazing!! We had our daughter's Quinceanera party this weekend and it was everything we could have asked for. She is extremely professional and takes care of every detail. She's on top of it!! Any issues that could arise, she's right there to find a solution. First Coast Weddings and Events Day of Coordinator was part of my wedding package through the Hammock Dunes Club. I chose to work with Heather Canada and am so glad I was lucky enough to have the opportunity. Heather is very organized and professional. When we first met, we bonded over our Lilly Pulitzer planners. I knew after our meeting that I wanted her to be my day of wedding coordinator, and I did not regret that decision one bit. If anything went wrong on my wedding day I certainly didn't know (in a good way!). Everything was on time which I attribute to Heather and really my whole team of vendors. She was flexible during the reception and gave us time to enjoy our guests and still do everything you do during a wedding. I never felt rushed to do 'the next thing" and really think the timing was perfect. Heather will be a great asset on your big day! -

Heather was a true professional combined with true romantic throughout our wedding planning process. We spoke with her over the phone to interview for her services, and her enthusiasm for our interests and needs, and delight at the details that at the time we were considering, really helped us to know she was the right one for us.
Heather worked with us to keep everything organized and moving on schedule. She came out to our rental house the day before to pickup flowers and helped organize the wedding party through both the rehearsal and actual day.
On our wedding day, Heather was a calm voice throughout. Though family and friends were all around, and the excitement and nervous energy had everyone on edge (in a good way!), Heather's calm presence and voice helped me to stay focused and hone in on each step along the way.
They say all wedding days have their challenges or flaws, but ours did not! At least, if there was I am still blissfully unaware, as Heather handled everything which gave me the chance just to be in that moment.
We are so grateful to Heather for helping us and allowing us the freedom to be in love rather than plan the party. :) Thank you Heather! -

Heather is absolutely amazing. I planned my wedding from across the country and she made it all so easy for me. I showed her just one picture of what I wanted the wedding to feel/look like and she executed everything to a tee. Absolutely amazing. Heather is so professional, organized, and just the best wedding planner we could hope for! The wedding was held in Jacksonville with the Bride and Groom each residing in distant cities. Planning would have been extremely difficult for us, but Heather and her team made it completely stress-free and easy for out of town couples.
Heather is a very prompt and efficient communicator and is always warm and understanding. She worked extra hard to find us the perfect vendors, some of which we would not been able to find on our own.
She is very keen to detail and design. I had changed my vision at least three times during the planning process, however Heather was always very patient and kind.
The day of the wedding went so perfectly! We are so fortunate that Heather and FCWE were there to prevent any snags, organize the vendors and deliveries, and let us enjoy our special day!

We used First Coast Events for our ceremony/reception DJ and photo booth. David was great at fulfilling what we wanted in a DJ and allowed us to hand pick Hector for our wedding. We weren't sure if our guests would enjoy and get use out of the photo booth, so we only booked it for two hours. Everyone had so much fun with it though and I wish we would have gotten it for longer! -

We definitely got a great bang for our buck using the First Coast Wedding team! We had four event planners at our wedding at TPC Sawgrass. All four of them were amazing to deal with - calm, cheerful, professional and had a solution to every problem we had! Leading up to the wedding, Emma was an absolute saint - she was so patient with us and handled all of our panicked "what do we do about this" with ease. With a bridal party of 23 people, a rained out ceremony and a groomsman passing out mid-ceremony, she had her hands full with our group! I could not recommend anyone better!

Danielle Gregory was my wedding planner. I must start by saying that without her services, my 6 months I had to plan the wedding would not have been possible. She is a extremely organized, which I need, planner that would meet with me and would have the BEST ideas for my money. She not only was my planner, she was my design consultant, all in one. She was up to date on the must-haves in the wedding world. Her experience with local vendors in the Jacksonville area only worked to my advantage. Since we were limited on time, she made sure she was able to book the best vendors for my event. Luckily, they all knew her personally, which I'm sure worked to my advantage. She was always just a phone call or email away. Thorough in her scheduling and making sure I was on track with all I was supposed to do, which I needed.
The wedding day, she had the idea of my husband and I talking to all the guests at their tables, avoiding the typically line at the Bride & Groom's table. We went to our guests tables while each table was being dismissed to the buffet. This was the number one thing that we received feedback on from our guests. Most guests said they had never been to a wedding where the bride & groom did not start eating FIRST and then talked to a few guests. Thank you to Danielle for all her great ideas and professionalism. She really knows her stuff!!!!

Helped the day run smoothly
We hired Kari Smith for the full day for our wedding. She was very organized and responsive and helped our day run very smoothly. She was very helpful when the weather forecast changed for our outdoor ceremony and reception and helped our vision of the night still become a reality. -

I am very happy that we chose to work with Heather and the staff of First Coast Weddings for our wedding last October. Heather was very professional and was able to keep control of our rehearsal and ceremony. There were a lot of tasks that they took care of that left us and our families free to enjoy our day with.
I would like to see just a little bit better care though when packing our things at the end of the night. some things were missing and that left us to track down the items and some things were broken when we did receive them in the mail. The company did pay for the damages though and overall I would still recommend their services. -

I am sorry to say that I was very disappointed in my wedding planner. While before the wedding it seemed like everything was going well, it turned out that my wedding planner was a more of a "yes man" who would smile and nod and then roll her eyes when I turned away. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
1. At the rehearsal, I asked my wedding planner to help us walk through the procession etc. She acted like I was being a crazy bride and wouldn't speak up to my wedding party. It ended up being that we had to organize things ourselves while she stood by, too embarrassed to look bossy or something? Isn't being "bossy" a wedding planner's job?
2.Wedding planner LEFT MY CEREMONY to go to another ceremony DURING the wedding.
3. My wedding planner told us that she had contacted the car service. This was clearly NOT the case. The morning of the wedding, my groom was contacted by the car service asking if we were going to send a contract! Needless to say, my wedding coordinator DID NOT contact the car company, and we had no car the day of the ceremony.
4. The wedding planner said that she would contact each vendor and work out the specifics of the contract. My maid of honor and I also spoke with her many times and asked if things were on track. She would say "yes" but clearly wasn't listening. While we paid the caterer for meals for out band, and the caterer put those meals out, the band was never told by the wedding coordinator that food was available. Embarrassingly enough, the band was not fed.
5. Just when everyone started dancing at the reception, my mother and father also got up to dance together, a very special moment. My groom and I really wanted pictures of this moment, and looked around for the photographer--- nowhere to be seen. We looked around for our wedding planners--- also nowhere to be seen. We LEFT THE RECEPTION to look for them. They were in the back eating.
6. After the ceremony, the wedding planner was contracted to stay and help clean up. This did not happen, and my parents were brushed off.
7. You would think that with all of these mistakes occurring, the wedding planner would have contacted us expressing some sense of remorse. No. In fact, we left 3 messages and 2 emails before we had any response. This response did not address any of the mistakes that she had made. She did not offer to follow up with the car service to get our money back.
I understand that mistakes can happen, but a professional should address those mistakes, not ignore them.
I wish that I could leave a better review here. My wedding was beautiful and unforgettable. But I truly feel that this was due to my own efforts and the efforts of my bridesmaids and catering service, not of my wedding planner.
