From our private cocktail hour canapés through dinner, Fig & Pig’s food––and service–– was absolutely amazing. Holly and Tammy were so attentive, kind, and easy to work with. We are still getting compliments about how incredible the food was; many people have told us it’s the best wedding food they’ve ever had, and our friend Michele said the arctic char was the best fish they’ve ever eaten. We feel so lucky to have gotten to work with F&P and we couldn’t recommend them more highly! -

Fig & Pig was everything we wanted and more! From the beginning, Holly and Tammy were dedicated to creating a wonderful experience for both us and our guests, and really got to know us to better understand what we were looking for. During our tasting, Holly surprised us with a variation of a dish that was more Indian inspired for my partner’s family, and it was amazing! Everyone from their team was so wonderful, and the food blew everyone away. We had so many people come up to us praising everything, saying it didn’t feel like “wedding food” at all but rather like dining at a fancy restaurant (which is absolutely true). We 100% recommend Fig & Pig for whatever your catering needs; they are amazing and we are so grateful they were a part of our wedding! -

I truly can’t say enough good things about Fig & Pig! Holly and Tammy were amazing to work with throughout the planning process and the food was beyond superb. Every dish was beautifully presented, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. I’m still getting messages from our guests raving about how delicious the food was and saying it was the best they've ever had at a wedding, and my husband and I agree. Highly recommend Fig & Pig!! -

My now-husband and I are big foodies! He also works in the restaurant industry, so having great food at our wedding was our top priority. We did a lot of research, looked into all of our venue's recommended vendors, and did tastings with 4 different caterers! Fig and Pig came out on top, not just for the amazing food, but for the team - you could just tell that they really cared about both back of house and front of house, and have put together a team of people who work so well together, who care about the food, have great attitudes and love the wedding business. We loved chatting with Holly at our tasting, and Tammy was on top of every little detail throughout the process. The selection of food was incredible, and they were even open to making customizations. We kept the food coming all night from the Fried Chicken Station at cocktail hour - a crowd favorite, don't miss it! To a late night snack of pretzels and dips, knowing that no one would leave hungry. Our guests are still raving about the food, including our chef friends, saying it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. Also, try the family style dinner! Everyone loved the social way the food was served and enjoyed, and our guests are loved getting to try a little bit of everything. Do yourself a favor, and go with Fig and Pig, you won't regret it! -

My husband and I were just married and could not be happier with Fig + Pig. For us, we never pictured our wedding as a large party with tons of dancing, but more a dinner party with our nearest and dearest family and friends. Fig + Pig made that dream a reality. After we settled on our venue and wedding date, Fig + Pig was the first vendor we booked with. We had heard of them as a recommended vendor from our venue, and once we saw their photos and looked at their menus we were smitten. Working with the team at Fig + Pig was incredible. They truly work to make every wedding a personalized experience. Holly has created an expansive and extraordinarily delicious menu of food and drinks. Lainey, your go to throughout wedding planning, guided us through our tasting, menu development, and rental process. They even created two signature cocktails for us named after our dogs. Fig + Pig started our event with a champagne welcome to set the mood for our small crowd. Cocktail hour was filled with truly the most delicious passed horderves. Their shrimp beignets are to die for and there were options for our gluten free and vegan guests (seriously, try the candied beet lollipop). Our meal was a progression of stunning courses starting with the most velvety squash soup, a flavorful salad, and phenomenal entrees including short ribs, arctic char, and vegan curry. The night wrapped up with delicious desserts and a totally satisfied group of guests. We couldn't have imagined a more perfect meal (and catering company) to celebrate the most important dinner we've had together thus far! -

Thank you Holly and Lainey! I was not the easiest bride but they were there for me every step of the way. People keep talking about how delicious the food was at our wedding! While I know we had some dishes out of the Fig & Pig all-star book, every course felt like it was made just for us. Holly and Lainey did a great job of listening to our needs and creating a menu that felt personal but executable - how they got perfectly al dente pasta for 115 people, I’ll never know!
I don’t think Fig & Pig has the pizazz that some other catering vendors do - there’s no 15 person team, or showroom in a high rent Manhattan location, or endless shiny brochures that scream marketing. But I LOVED that about them. They felt like two friends kicking ass and putting together meals for the most important day of their clients lives. I loved their shop in Bed Stuy and felt so warm and welcomed when I visited for tastings. They felt like real people that I’d want to hang out with in real life (cough, Holly live on Insta, cough) not just another vendor. Their costs reflected that as well - other caterers we looked at charged a lot more for the administrative side. I felt that we got tremendous value from our catering. It was the most expensive bill of the night but literally every penny was worth it (which I didn’t exactly feel from other vendors).
Lainey, in particular, was a great resource. She must have sent me 45 different mock-ups of our proposal and menu, always keeping track of the little tiny details that I lost along the way. She’s also so calm! So graceful! Holly entertained my million revisions and provided a real sense of expertise - sure, I could customize whatever I wanted, but I also had immense trust that she knew best given her experience, and I looked to her to help steer my ideas.
Thank you for everything, Fig & Pig! And to brides - book them. At least, taste them. The food was delicious, actually had flavor night of, and they were a total pleasure to work with. -

The menu was thoughtful, creative and responsive to our preferences. Holly’s staff executed flawlessly. Her catering company Fig & Pig met all our guests expectations with the hors d'oeuvers, salads, entrees and desserts for our wedding! Everyone commented on how delicious the food was, and as the Bride I actually ate! Everything came out perfectly for our family style meal. Fig & Pig has the experience and staff to make a wedding everything a Bride and Groom wants and needs it to be. Holly's practical side helped in bringing everything together, and her patience and creativity helped realize our personal vision. Fig & Pig are seasoned New York Catering Professionals that have a personality all their own. It was truly a pleasure to communicate with them during the entire planning process and we felt very much connected to the food because of that. I would also like to note that Fig & Pig handled all the bartending for our vastly stocked bar and made outstanding cocktails throughout the evening. This was another important item for us, as many of our guests are in the wine & spirits industry and the beverage service required knowledge and expertise. And lastly Fig & Pig really came through when orchestrating the rental order and setting up, our 'look' was perfectly executed. Fig & Pig are a delight for your wedding day!

Eric Sent on 03/28/2018So after dealing with a number of food vendors for my November wedding, I felt I was loosing steam. I came across Fig & Pig and was immediately drawn to their food style and presentation. Upon further inquiry I noticed that they were reasonably priced. I contacted the business and the Executive Chef/Owner picked up the phone and addressed all of my concerns. My wife and I went back in forth with ideas and settled on a date to meet. We entered the establishment and was greeted by Holly and her staff with a sturdy handshake and a bottle of wine. After the tasting I was not only sure that they were amazing, but that they would be the stars of our reception. The only issue was there was only 6 weeks to prepare an already speedy wedding. Holly always made herself available through text, talk, email etc. and was very well organized. She didn't shy away from asking tough questions or calling the venue to square away the details. Our night of went off without a hitch and our guests are still talking about the food. Her bartender was also great and gave us plenty of delicious cocktail options. It is a night we will never forget, in part of Fig & Pig Catering. We wanted the best and surely got it with Holly and her team.
