    I cannot express enough gratitude for Del and her team! Besides being the best wedding planner, Del is a supportive mentor, loving friend, and overall incredible woman. I had the most magical day and I owe it all to Delcina for the experience and knowledge she has given me, for her generous and patient soul, and for the genuine gift of her presence. Teresa is a fabulous rockstar! She is dependable and such a joy to be around! Also thank you to Hailey for being a great help on wedding day. Thank you endlessly to Del and team fab.     Fabulous Planning Experience with Del - August Wedding

    Working with Del and the Fab team was amazing. I definitely have to say that my wedding day was PERFECT and I owe that all to her. Things ran flawlessly on our wedding day. If anything was out of place, I didn't have a clue. Del and her team were attentive to the needs of the bride and groom, wedding party and wedding guests. She ensured that every vendor had what they needed to make our wedding day run smoothly. I won't lie, I was hesitant in hiring a planner because I had taken care of many of the details myself. However, the moment I met with Del, I knew I needed her to pull together all of the loose ends. And that is exactly what she did. Effortlessly!!! She was always kind but made sure things got done at the same time. From planning meetings, to rehearsal, to the wedding day, she worked her magic and as a result my husband and I were truly able to enjoy our wedding day. I'd recommend her in a heartbeat!!!     A pro in her given talent

    Delcina!! Thank you so much for helping us plan our FABULOUS wedding. I am a bit of a do it myself person and had a difficult time finding someone who I could trust to give everything to and know it would be taken care of and under control. Then I met Delcina. She was on top of EVERYTHING! There were so many things that went into wedding planning that I didn't know about until I was already waist deep in it. Delcina took them over with her amazingly organized system and went above and beyond. She is so fun to work with, on top of her stuff, has the kind of backbone that everyyy bride needs in their wedding planner whether they know it or not. She is a pro. Thank you for helping us plan our dream wedding and for making sure everything ran so smoothly on our big day.

    Enjoy your Day!

    So I was one of those foolish people who thought they could throw an great wedding of over 100 people without a planner and NOT turn crazy. And crazy I did, until I nearly lost my mind and came to find Delcina. I had met her at wedding vendor event and her personality and honesty in our very short interaction left a great impression on me even months later, which says a lot for someone who cant remember someone's name 3 seconds after they just told me. As detailed as I am, there were things that I hadn't even thought about, let alone have the time to think about. Having her on our team allowed us to think less on what finish the table numbers should be (hint: no one really cares) and more about our guests experiences and how they will remember that night! She was able to take over the reigns from where I had left off planning and bring the whole vision together, it was more beautiful than I could have even imagined it!! The day of, she went out of her way to make sure I was calm and comfortable and able to actually enjoy it and BE IN THE MOMENT! ( a far cry from when I was attempting to do this all myself!) There were small issues that popped up here and there but she and Hailey (sp? ) were so on it I never found out about it unless someone mentioned it after the wedding, and by then...who cares, it all worked out to everyone's satisfaction and all were happy. (any isssues were my own fault btw so extra points for them) I've been to weddings where you wonder whats happening, who's in charge, where's the coordinator, no such questions here! I am so glad we were able to work with her and her team, they are no slouch, they are the A team!

    Delcina and her Team Fabulous are AMAZING--a complete dream team. Our wedding day was beyond perfect and so, so, so classy! All of my guests told me it was the best and classiest wedding they had ever attended--from the music to the decor! My husband and I planned a 1920's/Great Gatsby-themed wedding with Del's help, and the end product truly exceeded our expectations. CHOOSE FABULOUS BEGINNINGS! They're true professionals in this industry.

    The BEST WEDDING Planner in Houston Hands Down! She comes through and goes over and beyond for our wedding and really for all her brides. She listens, she's prepared, and she gives you unlimited meetings. She's actually CARES and is sincerely excited about your day and when she steps in she is 100 committed- unlike wavering friends and family. Del helped me accomplished so much-from helping me pick out my dress, fittings, our invites, cake tastings, to florist and dj run-throughs. She even took the time out an planned an entire day of dress shopping for my Bridesmaids. She can handle everything for you so you won't have to stress. Most importantly she will negotiate the best deals with your vendors on your behalf. I cannot put in words how cost beneficial this is. Del gave my Husband and I the wedding we dreamed about for the fraction of the cost. She also gave me the most FABULOUS, Bridal- Magazine Worthy Tea at the St. Regis Houston. My guests are still raving about my Bridal Shower and my Wedding at the Bell Tower. Her vendors are also the most talented in Houston and she comes with a TEAM of experts. Do yourself a favor and hire Delcina Hagley. I couldn't imagine planning a wedding or any other major event without her. Booking Del for our wedding was really the best decision we ever made.

    Delcina is simply amazing!!!! I was gifted another wedding planner so didn't start out using Delcina but in talking to her in passing, she gave me so many ideas and great recommendations that ended up saving me so much money in the end. Her personality is great for the occasion and she is definitely on top of things so her brides are in great hands. Had I started my journey with Delcina, my process would have been much smoother but once I got her involved, it got much better and I just felt better overall. Thanks Delcina!!

    Delcina was absolutely wonderful. I chose her for our day of coordinator and our wedding was absolutely perfect. She was very attentive and was easy to get a hold of when we needed her. I truly feel she went above and beyond what I expected. I truly recommend her as a wedding planner/coordinator. Thanks Del for making our wedding day a day we will never forget.

    ..... (continued) Prior to the wedding, Delcina and I worked on the style and feel of our wedding reception. With her help, we found the best style that would fit us as a couple. At the day of the wedding, our reception was reflection of who we are and our friends and family really appreciated the customized space we had to celebrate in.

    Delcina and her team worked on their feet all night in complete coordination with the other vendors (Jennifer Marie Photography, Café Natalie Catering, DJ Marquee, Leap Productions Videography) to provide us the best experience.

    My husband and I most especially loved the time we were able to have together while eating without interruptions from guests; she made sure we were able to eat during dinner and have drinks on hand whenever we needed it. The night was beautifully orchestrated from the beginning of the reception to the end. From organizing the flow that our guest would come into the space to our special request to be introduced to be husband and wife. The “must-do” wedding parts like cutting the cake and first dance, toasts and the grand exit with sparklers were so well-transitioned that they complemented the whole event. The Fabulous Beginning team made all the little things happen so all the big moments flow naturally and become an incredible experience.

    A huge thank you to Delcina, Glenn and the Fabulous Beginning team. They are Fabulous, indeed.

    Delcina and the Fabulous Beginnings staff was just who we needed for our wedding planning and coordinator needs. We could have not asked for better customer care and service. Delcina and I first talked over the phone just shy of one and a half months prior to our wedding date- February 28, 2014. It was a struggle for me to decide if I was going to hire a wedding coordinator or even a day-of-event coordinator, but the more I thought about it, the more I knew we needed a coordinator. I was searching for a coordinator that would match our needs. After a few disappointing phone meetings with other coordinators, I have found Delcina with Fabulous Begginings and she turned my whole wedding planning world around. She was willing, ready and confident in giving me the best experience in the last month of our wedding planning and our wedding day. She and her team did not disappoint.

    Delcina worked with our budget and specialized her services to our wedding day and planning needs. You ask her once and she’ll make it happen. She gave me a month of and updated the to do lists as the countdown went on. She went above and beyond our expectations for planning the day of our wedding. Being from out of town, it was most helpful that she gave us a two day timeline to keep everyone on schedule. Delcina made sure that our schedule was taylor-fitted to how we wanted the day to turn out. She committed to the schedule the day of our wedding and it turned out so beautifully. She worked with our (mandatory) church coordinator so that our day seamlessly transitioned from ceremony at the church to the formal photographs and then to the reception.

    She and her team put out beautiful work during the reception. She made sure my husband and I were taken care of as soon as the day started. When we arrived to our reception venue, The Gallery – Houston, she made sure to give us a tour of the venue to show us everything was were we wanted it to be.....

    Working with Del and her group was a truly fabulous experience. We originally found Del online and couldn't believe the great prices that she offered...but when we began working with her, we REALLY couldn't believe it! She was so fun, encouraging and attentive throughout the entire process, we felt like we were getting so much more than someone just trying to do the bare minimum. 2 months before our wedding, my grandmother was very ill in the hospital; Del came to meet with us while we were there and even brought flowers for our family. She is a sweetheart. Not only that, but she is an excellent event planner. She handled everything we handed over to her, communicated with our other vendors, and made the whole wedding planning phase as effortless as possible for us. I would recommend Del to anyone. She is THE BEST.

    Delcina and Fabulous Beginnings are absolutely FABULOUS! Delcina was wonderful from the day we met her until the last detail of the reception was completed! To start with, she's a delightful person - friendly, cheerful, calm - just the kind of person you want around you during a big event!. But she's also incredibly hardworking and very professional. She was there for every detail and every step of the way as we planned the wedding, as well as during the actual ceremony and reception. Because of Del we were able to truly relax and enjoy our special day without worrying about any of the details. Del truly made us feel as though we were her only clients. She listened to everything we wanted and worked incredibly hard to make every detail of our dreams come true. Her staff was also excellent - hardworking, discreet, and just doing whatever needed to be done. I highly, highly recommend Delcina and Fabulous Beginnings!

    Del is hands down the best! She was so much fun to work with and just what I needed to have on my wedding day. If you want to NOT worry about a thing on your wedding...then Del is the person for you. She knows exactly what to do and will keep things in order. I will be calling Del again if i have another big event. I didnt have to worry about a thing. I can't say enough how awesome she really is and how she put me at ease.

    Fabulous Beginnings By Delcina & Co. this company is truly amazing. At my engagement party on September 7th I had 65 guest in attendance and I was able to focus on mingling and enjoying myself because Delcina and her assistant handled EVERYTHING from beginning to end. All my guest raved about Delcina's professionalism and how pleasant she was. This woman is the real deal, I would recommend her to EVERYONE because she is on point. It was my pleasure to work her and I look forward to doing more business with this company in the near future.

    Fabulous Beginnings were very professional and easy to work with. My wife and I focused on our day and let Delcina and company handle the rest. We had no worries. Our only complaint is we should have used her sooner, it would have saved us a lot of time and stress.

    My bridal shower, brunch and wedding was simply amazing ! Delcina & Co.made me feel like a queen and managed to handle everything that needed attention, so I was ableto enjoy my day. All of my final arrangements and preparations were handled by Delcina and her team, and I am eternally satisfied and grateful. This company made my wedding breathe taking and everyone involved raved about the program from beginning to end. Get this......Delcina sent me and my husband a gift basket on our honeymoon, words can't explain............

    I was referred to Del from a family friend who used her for their wedding. My husband and I hired Del in April 2016 and we got married in January 2017. But before I even hired Del, she was planning my wedding. On my telephone interview with her, she was strategizing, making recommendations, and giving advice. And I had not even signed anything yet! Best decision of my wedding planning. Period. When I was researching for a wedding planner, I read nearly EVERY review of Del online before my in-person interview with her. I thought, “Dang. Is she really this good?” The answer is YES HONEY! Delcina is very thorough. She knows this wedding industry like the back of her fabulous hand. She does good work and she will save you money. We got a smoking hot deal with video, photo, and floral because of her connections. And when it came to the paper, her connection with Minted saved me a good $1,500 on save-the-dates, invitations, programs, etc. Seriously. When it came to my décor, it was literally all her and my florist. I trusted her judgment. And the décor was better than anything I could have done. My other vendors that weren’t even affiliated with Fab Beginnings would even e-mail me and say “Man, your planner is ON IT!” I'm a slow and steady kind of person. Del is a sprinter. (Did I mention I was a long-distance bride?) I'd be stressing out, e-mailing her a thousand separate e-mails, and wondering if stuff got handled, thinking "OMG! We need this by Friday! She never e-mailed me back!" And then BAM, Del already handled it. Confirmation e-mail sent. All parties notified. Most of all, Del is honest. She never gave me BS. She was always straightforward and forthcoming with information I needed to hear. She also made sure I didn't look crazy. She advised me on my whole wedding look, and I looked so fabulous. I’d hire Del and her team again. My husband and I actually miss her, her fabulous office, and the cookies.

    Overall great

    We needed a day of person and someone to help with last minute details. Dell and her assistants did a great job on the day of- I felt very taken care of. Most of our details for planning were already taken care of so she didn’t really help us when it came to saving money on her recommended details. I would recommend her to anyone who can afford a day of person because it is really helpful!

    Did not show up to our wedding

    I will start by saying I have never written a negative review in my life, but absolutely do not hire Delcina Hagley as your wedding (or any event) planner. I wish I could give her zero stars. She will charm you with her seemingly fun and positive attitude, but once you sign the contract, she disappears. She is near impossible to get ahold of, and when you do get ahold of her, she makes you feel like a complete burden and like you are on the back burner throughout the entire process. When Del came up in conversation with other vendors in the industry and with some of her previous clients, our frustrations were very much shared. The few times we did meet, it seemed we were doing all the ground work and she was just catching up—asking the same questions over and over. Nothing ever got anywhere. Her loyalty lies with the vendors she pushes on you, not with her clients. I would go months without hearing from her and eventually just accepted the fact we would do everything, and hopefully she would just pull through on wedding day. Fingers crossed! Well to top it all off, after already postponing our wedding once, we made the difficult decision to cancel our wedding reception (and only reception) due to Covid, but told Del we would still be getting married that day. Still getting ready in the morning, still having vendors, still having a ceremony, and then an intimate celebration at our home with close friends and family. We told her along with her services, we would also be using hair and makeup, florals, cake, photo, and video in some capacity. We made this crystal clear to Del that we would still be getting married and in need of her services, which were already paid for in FULL. When I didn’t hear from her for weeks, I reached out to her to schedule our final planning appointment, she informed me that she would NOT be at our wedding, claimed we had cancelled her services (why would we cancel a planner we had paid for in full when we were still having a wedding?), and had “already booked another event”. I honestly could not believe what I was reading! We were never anything but respectful and kind despite the horrible service, and I remained calm and positive throughout the entire process of re-planning our wedding three times. Ironically, the wedding planner who should have been easing stress, caused more stress than anyone or anything. The wedding day ended up being filled with so much love and happiness, and was more beautiful than anything we could have ever dreamed of, and honestly was better without her there. But, if you are looking for an established, professional, trustworthy, responsive, reliable, or genuinely kind and caring wedding planner, Del is NOT it.

    I appreciate you leaving a review. Everyone is entitled to their opinion of the circumstances. You gave them yours, here is mine.
    You were entitled, disrespectful, and passive aggressive. You were a referral. You attended a beautiful $250,000+, wedding, that I planned and designed, with a full planning client. Rachel you and your Mother expected the same services with less than a fraction of that budget. I did my absolute best to manage your expectations from the very beginning, while working through your budget constraints. I even gave you an enormous referral discount, all to keep you under budget. Comparing Full Planning & Partial Planning -Lite are completely different packages and services, you wanted and needed full planning, and we compromised with a reduced partial planning package.
    In the beginning we had a great professional relationship. In the end, I fulfilled every appointment, and task in your package and then some, always giving you extra. When Covid happened, it happened to the world! Yet I was still here, helping you along the way. Of course, you didn’t mention that I Postponed your wedding in the height of the pandemic. I reached out & coordinated a new wedding date with your 12+ Vendors & Venues over a two-week period, and then 3 months later you decided to cancel your wedding.
    During our update appointment in July, when you decided to make me the scapegoat for COVID, instead of blaming it on the actual pandemic, you said my services were no longer needed. After firing me, a month later, you then proceeded to try to re-hire me/ bully me back into planning, after watching me post my Micro-Weddings on social Media. Meanwhile in that month that I was “dismissed’, I still cancelled your wedding, at your request, with all of your vendors, and venues and even got you THOUSANDS in refunds. Yet here we are. In our emails, I tried, and tried, and tried with you, I forgave your condescending tone, and dismissive behavior until finally It was enough.
    Never mind that I was the only Vendor that had to endure your toxic attitude for the past year, even through the disrespect I remained professional and helpful. I paid to keep you on our planning software, months after Covid at no additional fees or cost…during a pandemic! You were consistently rude, your sweet mother had to interrupt you on several occasions as it was even too much for her. Rachel you consistently belittled me every single chance you got. This was an intimidating and extremely stressful environment filled with threats and lies, and I’m not surprised that you would stoop to lying at this point.
    I’m glad my beautiful Vendors that I referred to you, along with my Itinerary and floorplans, helped you have a wonderful day. If I was so terrible, why did you fire me and then try to apologize and re-hire me a month later? I’m glad you wrote this review. I would prefer that this exchange would detract someone like you into booking us. Wishing you the best, and waiting for our day in court – #KeepUpTheSLANDER - Xo Del
