Working with Events to Woo, and especially Joanne, was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding.
From the very beginning, Joanne didn’t just “plan” our wedding, she actually understood what we were trying to create and translated it into something better than we could have imagined. We came in with a rough vision and a tight budget, and she immediately built out a clear plan that made everything feel doable instead of overwhelming.
One moment that really stood out was when we were struggling with our venue layout. We had one space that needed to flip from ceremony to reception quickly, and we couldn’t figure out how to make it feel intentional instead of rushed. Joanne stepped in, redesigned the entire flow, and coordinated with rentals and catering so the transition felt seamless. Guests had no idea the room had completely transformed.
She also saved us during vendor selection. We were about to book a photographer purely based on price, and Joanne gently pushed us to think about style and personality instead. She connected us with someone who matched our vibe perfectly, and now our photos feel like *us*, not just generic wedding shots.
Another huge save was with our seating chart and catering coordination. Joanne caught things we would have never thought of, like clearly marking meal indicators for the catering team and adjusting the layout to prevent bottlenecks during dinner service. It sounds small, but it made the entire guest experience smoother.
On the day of the wedding, she ran everything behind the scenes so flawlessly that we didn’t have to think about a single detail. When a minor timeline delay popped up, she handled it quietly and adjusted everything without us even noticing. We were fully present the entire day, which is honestly priceless.
What makes Joanne different is that she combines creativity with real execution. A lot of planners can design something pretty, but she makes sure it actually works in real life, with your budget, your vendors, and your space.
If you’re on the fence, don’t be. Events to Woo is the kind of team that makes your wedding feel elevated, personal, and genuinely stress-free. Joanne is not just a planner, she’s the reason our wedding felt effortless and unforgettable.

We are so pleased that we hired Elizabeth from Events to Woo as our day-of coordinator! She handled all the behind-the-scenes logistics flawlessly, from coordinating vendors and managing the timeline to ensuring everything was set up perfectly for both ceremonies. Elizabeth and Margaret seamlessly managed the flow of guests, ensured all the necessary items were in place for each ceremony, and kept everything running smoothly and on schedule. Elizabeth also took a couple lovely "behind the scenes" photos that she sent to us the day after the wedding. They truly went above and beyond, handling everything with such kindness and professionalism. -

We are really glad we booked Joanne as our day-of coordinator. Our wedding did not have a lot of the traditional elements (DJ, wedding party, rehearsal) and Joanne was flexible with our vision and worked with us to adapt things as needed. Despite the day-of title, there was clear and easy communication with her in the days and weeks leading up to the event. Our family was impressed with our detailed down-to-the-minute schedule for the wedding weekend, which was very much drawn from Joanne's template. She also did a fantastic job putting together our ceremony and venue decorations with little guidance from us and a blank canvas at the venue! -

Joanne was seriously a life saver at our wedding. We had several bumps during our wedding planning process and Joanne was really efficient and effective at helping us guide our way through them. I had the pleasure of having Joanne plan and coordinate my wedding. She was the best day of coordination that turned into a full wedding planner because I was just so overwhelmed with my job and move. My friends and family had such a good time and because Joanne was on top of everything, I was able to enjoy my time without an worry at all. I cannot thank Joanne enough for her hard work and time...and I called her ALOT!
