She was always prompt and attentive, making sure we stayed within our budget while never compromising on the overall aesthetic of our wedding. It was such a relief to know we were in such capable hands.
On a personal level, Lindsay's kindness and consideration shined, especially during those stressful moments. Her comforting presence and genuine compassion made all the difference, and I truly felt supported every step of the way. Lindsay our savior!
We cannot thank Lindsay enough for making our wedding day absolutely perfect, despite everything that went wrong in the lead-up to it. Referred to us by a close friend, Lindsay was incredible from day one—always offering helpful advice, answering our endless questions, and easing our minds as we navigated the planning process. Her approach was so friendly, nonjudgmental, and incredibly easy to talk to, which made us feel like we could trust her with every detail, no matter how big or small.
From the start, Lindsay took the time to get to know us and our vision for the wedding. She made sure to understand what was important to us, from our theme to our specific preferences. Her vendor recommendations were spot-on, and she coordinated everything from start to finish while always keeping us in the loop. She managed to balance staying on top of all the logistics while honoring our desires for the day.
But the real magic happened when Hurricane Helene hit. Just weeks before our wedding, we had to completely change our venue. When the storm hit and caused massive destruction in our area, Lindsay was on the phone first thing the morning after the storm, already working to secure tours for alternative venues. She was proactive in ways I could never have expected and made sure we still had options for our wedding.
We ended up getting married at a beautiful museum in St. Pete, but the ballroom was a complete blank canvas—short ceilings and bare walls. I honestly couldn’t see how our dream wedding could come to life in that space. But Lindsay worked wonders. She transformed the reception room beyond recognition, paying attention to every single detail. The cocktail hour space, the reception room, and even the bar had stunning decor that fit our vision perfectly. It was absolutely magical.
Lindsay’s team, Kristy and Ebonee, were equally amazing. They helped with everything from ensuring smooth transitions between venues to managing the bridal emergency kit (practically a Mary Poppins bag) to providing emotional support when things got overwhelming. Every aspect of the day was handled with such care and precision that I didn’t have a single worry, and neither did our family or wedding party. The day was stress-free, organized, and truly unforgettable.
I truly cannot imagine our wedding being as perfect as it was without Lindsay’s expertise, dedication, and calm, professional presence. Even in the face of the worst hurricane in 100 years, Lindsay not only helped us pull off our wedding but made it feel like it had been years in the making. Working with her was an absolute blessing, and I will forever rave about her to anyone who asks. She made the impossible possible, and I’m beyond grateful for everything she did to make our dream wedding a reality.-

The best in the biz!
Lindsay was phenomenal throughout the entire wedding planning process. Everything from the rehearsal dinner, to the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception went extremely smoothly. Even as the bride, I didn’t notice anything that didn’t go according to plan!!
I had a somewhat non-traditional vision for our reception and she made it come to life perfectly. She was so pleasant to work with and very organized. She kept me in the loop on everything and eased my stress heading into the big day knowing she had everything under control. Highly highly recommend Lindsay!!! You will not go wrong. 😊 -

Lindsay was an absolute miracle to our family and event!
Throughout the preparation of our event, Lindsay brought professionalism, insight, a level of calm to us all. THEN, the day after the hurricane that wiped out all of our venues (less than 3 weeks before the wedding), Lindsay was on the phone making new plans, calling all the vendors and holding our hand throughout. Lindsay TRANSFORMED my daughter's wedding into a magical and memorable event! It was absolutely perfect in every manner - no detail was missed! We HIGHLY recommend Lindsay and her entire team for your most special events! -

Best. Wedding. Planner. Ever.
There aren’t enough words to describe the incredible experience we had with Lindsay planning my daughter’s wedding. The attention to detail, the ability to navigate and choose just the right vendors, problem solving….I could go on and on. Lindsay made my daughter’s dream wedding a reality. Any obstacle that would pop up, Lindsay would work through it and overcome it. Her team made our wedding day flawless. We love her and I couldn’t recommend her more. -

Perfect wedding day!
I am so grateful for Lindsay & her team! My husband and I spoke with Lindsay in the early stages of wedding planning and decided to go with her to help us in the process and for planning our wedding, which we knew would be during covid. We ended up planning our beautiful wedding in 4 months! Lindsay was always available to chat with us and talk through details with us a few times a week. She was able to find vendors for us (and help us with the vendors we found ourselves), tailor the experience to our unique style and needs, and put out lots of fires! We had one vendor back out the DAY BEFORE our wedding, and within 15 minutes Lindsay was able to secure a back up and negotiated the price to match the same price of our original vendor! The wedding day itself was absolutely perfect (at least from the bride/groom perspective!!) and any and all issues that arose (and there were a few!), Lindsay & her team were able to adjust quickly and adapt without my husband and I knowing about it till later! We highly recommend Lindsay and are so grateful to have worked with her for our wedding. If I could do it all over again, I'd DEFINITELY hire Lindsay again!! So so grateful for her! -

Nothing short of AMAZING
Lindsay & the Burlap to Lace crew were nothing short of AMAZING during our entire wedding planning process. Lindsay was constantly keeping us on track and made my wedding day so simple and perfect (AND NOT STRESSFUL). Not only is she amazing professionally, but her personality was the best part-- my family and i absolutely adore her. In all honesty, my husband's family owns a large business and they were wanting to hire Lindsay full time just to keep her around because she made our life so easy! I have recommended her to all of my engaged friends as they saw how seamless my wedding day went (we had over 200+ people at Armature Works and had A LOT of fun intricate details throughout our night). I truly didn't think i needed a wedding planner to begin with but my mother-in-law requested we get one since we both work full time and have crazy traveling schedules and my god, I am SO HAPPY I listened to her. It was legit the best decision I made after we got engaged!! I can't thank Lindsay & her team enough! -

Amazing, organized, detailed, timely.
Lindsay was professional, timely, organized, detailed, thorough and a godsend for our wedding. I’ve since hired her to plan and execute other parties. She knocks it out of the park every time! She is wonderful to work with and thinks of every detail. She is upfront and honest about all costs.
I am a very specific person and really like personal touches and details. She understands that and has helped bring something special to every event we have done together. She is a TOTAL must! -

Warning - Expect post-wedding withdraws when Lindsay isn't planning your life!!
It has taken me almost 4 months to try to attempt putting in words what an absolutely amazing experience I had planning my wedding with Lindsay Jimison. I had the time of my life working with her! Her attention to detail and expertise are nothing short of incredible, however it's Lindsay's generous and caring spirit that amazed me most. I had some very out of the box ideas for our special day. Never once did Lindsay act like I was nuts, she shared in my excitement and showed patience I never existed. I could write a novel on all that Lindsay is capable of and how she exhibitied the qualities of the finest wedding coordinator on this planet, but it was her energy and excitement that separates her from the rest. My husband and I had the most incredible day of our lives because of Lindsay. I never once felt like there was another bride on the planet, and it only dawned on me later that she had other brides! I had the pleasure of starting to plan a wedding with a planner, and then actually planning it with a friend. Thank you, Lindsay. My husband, family and friends will always be grateful and in awe of all you do.-

Best day and best planner ever!
I can't stop raving about the job Lindsay did in making our wedding day the day of our dreams. She went above and beyond at every step. I had no idea how many little details go into making a wedding day run smoothly and I am so thankful we had her to guide us. She didn't let any details go without special attention. She was available for any of our needs. I wasn't even stressed leading into our wedding day because I felt so confident in the plans we had made and in her work. We wouldn't change a thing about our special day and I would recommend her and her team to anyone!

You NEED Burlap to Lace!
Working with Burlap to Lace was an absolute dream. Lindsay really took the time to listen to what we wanted and understand our vision. She recommended vendors that fit our personal style and we never felt pushed in any direction. Lindsay was always able to make time to answer questions as they came up and was amazing at proactively communicating. Nothing was lost in translation.
Lindsay was also ready to take on every challenge we threw at her without hesitation. We weren’t sure we could have a church ceremony until 4 weeks before the wedding. She was ready to be flexible. Not enough napkin rings the day before? Lindsay solved this situation without even worrying me!
Most importantly though, was that we were able to ENJOY our wedding, because everything was perfectly under control, organized, and flowing smoothly. Hiring Burlap to Lace for the full planning package was absolutely the best decision we made and looking back we honestly we wouldn’t change a thing (and I a meticulously detailed person)!

Best decision ever!
Hiring Lindsay as our wedding planner was the best decision ever! I am a natural planner and an extremely organized person...maybe a bit of a control freak. However, when it came to planning our wedding my husband and I knew we wanted the best of the best to help make our dream wedding come true. From the first call I had with Lindsay I knew instantly she was a perfect fit. She is extremely easy to talk to and during our first conversation it felt as if I were catching up with an old gf and not someone I just met. I also met and researched other planners but none compared to Lindsay. She will think of everything for you and I mean EVERYTHING and if you go and throw her a curve ball on your wedding day (which we did more than once) she’s ready to pivot and take care of everything without you having to worry.
I cannot praise Lindsay enough! Her work ethic, professionalism and expertise speaks volumes. If you are a future bride or groom reading this review pick up your phone, call Lindsay, and make her your planner! I promise you won’t regret it! -

A true professional!
Hands down the best decision we made was to hire Lindsay. I am very organized and self motivated, however I had no idea how much goes into planning a wedding. Lindsay is all about the details- she thinks and plans for everything you don’t even know you need. Our day had lots of moving pieces, ceremony in a church, military sword arch exit, trolley to a water taxi, water taxi, reception, champagne toast exit- all of which required precise timeline planning and coordination and Lindsay nailed it. We didn’t have to think or worry about a single detail day of the wedding; the events from start to finish ran smoothly and the flow was seamless. Lindsay is second to none from a design and decor standpoint- send her your vision and she points you in the direction of the exact right vendors to accommodate your dream day. She is a true professional and it shows from start to finish. Always a phone call or text away- she is there to keep you on track and help you out with any bridal moments. Every single penny I would pay again twice over to have this lady handle our day. Beyond belief. If you want your day to be the wedding of your dreams this is who you need to have on your team. 5 stars isn’t enough! -

I can't say enough great things about Lindsay! As soon as we met her we were so at ease and knew that she would do an amazing job with our Tampa wedding. She was so wonderful to work with throughout the whole wedding process and really thinks of everything (including all the "little" details that never would have crossed my mind but really tied everything together), plus contributed countless great ideas that really helped make it the wedding of our dreams. I was living in Rhode Island during the planning of our Tampa wedding, and despite the distance and my busy schedule she made the whole process so smooth! I admittedly was not very much help with the planning, but Lindsay and my mom had it all under control. The wedding day was perfect, and Lindsay kept everything flowing smoothly and made sure we were all where we needed to be. I was honestly never stressed on the day of because she did such a great job taking care of anything that needed to be addressed. I wouldn't have changed a thing and can't thank Lindsay enough for everything! HIGHLY recommend her - You will not be disappointed! -

I had researched multiple wedding planners and felt overwhelmed with how many were in the Tampa area. I started to reach out to a few and finally found Lindsay. I instantly felt that I could trust her to help me plan the most important day of my life and make it perfect. As an indecisive person, I needed someone that would help guide me with decision making, without being "pushy." Lindsay did just that, and even more. She is organized, prompt and easy to work with. I never hesitated to reach out to her with any questions or concerns and she always made me feel at ease. For the day of, I knew I didn't have to worry about a thing because I trusted Lindsay. My wedding day was beyond perfect and I was able to enjoy every minute of it. She went above and beyond and even brought my flowers to my grandmother's nursing home the next day! Lindsay was our saving grace! She came in and brought all of our visions to life! She has fantastic ideas and a great eye for detail. She always answered our questions quickly, and was so patient when we asked the same questions repeatedly and called and text her non stop. I literally do not know what we would have done without her! She’s a rock star.

We had the GREAT pleasure of having BURLAP TO LACE Wedding Planning take care of all of our day of needs for our Tampa wedding. Whenever we needed something or had a question, she always was responsive and quick! Lindsay did an awesome job and is very resourceful. She had a list of vendors ready to handle every aspect of the wedding. She really knows the venues and the vendors in the Tampa area. Lindsay definitely made the wedding planning process stress free and smooth sailing! I would definitely recommend her to anyone in need of a wedding planner. She understood our vision and it turned out beautifully! There was in instant connection with Lindsay in our initial meeting and our personalities meshed very well. We walked away from that meeting feeling confident that we would be well taken care of. Our instincts proved right and we couldn’t have asked for a better Wedding Planner! She helped create our beautiful Wedding Window ... which we now have hanging in our house to remember our big day! We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Lindsay. She is extremely professional and provided superior customer service. BURLAP TO LACE went beyond the call of duty.
Lindsay was able to create a customized package for our wedding needs. With one phone call, Lindsay came in and saved the day! We knew we were in good hands.
The fact that the MOB lived out of town didn’t make Lindsay miss a beat. She was always easy to get in contact with and helped figure out what needed to be done next.
Many of our guests traveled to Tampa from out of town. Lindsay planned an amazing “Meet & Greet” to toast the bride and groom. This took place after the Rehearsal Dinner. She worked with the vendor and supervised the evening to be sure the room was set up when we arrived. From the bar, appetizers, desserts, and coffee... to the hotel gift bags being displayed for our guests to take at the end of the evening. She was on top of it!
She helped finalize our wedding details and provided a detailed timeline for the day. If I could give a rating of 10 stars, Lindsay would get all 10!!
Whether you need a full-service planner or only services on the day of your wedding BURLAP TO LACE will not disappoint you.

I knew from my initial phone call with Lindsay she was the best match for me. She was so relatable and her passion radiated through the phone. I did speak with other planners prior and none compared. My whole experience with Lindsay was AMAZING. She is very organized and VERY attentive to detail. She makes handing the reins over super easy and allows you to simply be present and enjoy your big day! Lindsay and Burlap to Lace was amazing! When we first started planning our wedding we had no idea where to start. After speaking with her on the phone we quickly met and knew found our wedding planner. She knew exactly what we were looking for and was able to guide us through the entire process. She went above and beyond what we expected from a wedding planner and have nothing but great things to say. Lindsay is amazing!!! We could not have planned our wedding without her. She went above and beyond in every aspect of the planning process to make sure our wedding was perfect and captured every detail.
When our original venue fell through two months before the wedding, she reached out to several venues within a day and helped us secure a new venue within a week! We were able to keep our wedding date and time, only having to make minor tweaks to our plans. She was instrumental in helping us through one of the worst things that can happen when planning a wedding and quickly finding us a solution. And not just any solution, but the right solution that fit our needs and aesthetic!
She is extremely knowledgeable in event planning and served as a huge resource for us when we tried to do things outside of the box or were looking for vendors and sticking to our budget. We did not live in town and she went out of her way to meet with vendors when we couldn’t and helped us plan site visits and meetings during the handful of times we were in town and available. On top of that, she liaised with our vendors throughout the entire process which was incredibly helpful considering my husband and I work full time.
Our wedding day went very smooth and worry-free thanks to Lindsay. She was a lifesaver with set up and put out all of the finishing touches to our decor - guest book, rememberance table, favors, etc. She made sure our vendors were on schedule and checked in with me throughout the entire day. Her attention to detail, quick responsiveness and willingness to ensure all details were planned and executed sets her above the rest. She truly cares and will do all she can to make sure your vision comes to life.
And if that wasn’t enough her professionalism and sweet personality made it easy and enjoyable to work with. If you are looking for someone who will be there for you every step of the way and help you plan the best day ever - Lindsay is your gal! -

There are not enough stars or words to begin to describe how incredible Lindsay is! I originally thought I would be able to handle coordinating my own wedding, and wow was I wrong! I came to her with less than a month to plan & complete disorganization and she handled me like a pro! Lindsay was incredibly kind, professional, organized & helpful in so many ways. My wedding day was completely stress free and magical! I can't imagine how it would have been without her. She went above and beyond-setting up centerpieces, decorating our beach bamboo arch in the scorching sun, rescuing me with a rain cover when the heavens opened up & even cleaned our honeymoon suite that was destroyed while getting ready!! I can't say enough great things about Lindsay. I would highly recommend her for any bride. She was the absolute best and made my day so much easier. She's smart, incredibly organized and aggressive with vendor follow-up. She went over and beyond her scope of work on our the day of the wedding and I really couldn't have done it without her. She's got great taste and will put your mind at ease. And she was so nice and easy to get along with - she became a friend through the process.
