Most wedding planners can get the details and timeline right but few can get your wedding day to feel the exact way you dreamed. Delaney can do both and does it absolutely perfectly. From the first conversation I had with Delaney, she focused on that feeling we wanted our guests to experience and that the two of us wanted to have on our wedding day. Every interaction with Delaney and decision we made was grounded in that feeling. She pulled it off exquisitely and with such admirable poise and grace. I would recommend Delaney to any bride who wants a planner who is equal parts brilliantly organized and genuinely invested in your day being the best of your life. Thank you, Delaney!! -

I cannot say enough wonderful things about my wedding planner, Delaney White!
From the very beginning, Delaney was incredibly professional, organized, and kind. I hired her so that my control-freak sister could relax and stay by my side without worrying about the details—and Delaney completely delivered on that request and exceeded all my expectations.
She was a calm, steady presence throughout the entire planning process. She really listened to what I wanted and made sure every detail was taken care of so I could fully enjoy my wedding day. Delaney joined us in choosing table setups, linens, and décor with the caterer, and she visited the venue with us so I could walk her through my vision. We also had multiple phone calls to go over timeline adjustments, updates, and every question I had along the way.
Delaney did not have an easy job with my wedding. Just six days before the big day, I was diagnosed with Bell’s Palsy. I was devastated—but Delaney was so thoughtful and supportive, and she truly helped me feel beautiful and confident. Then, on the day of the wedding, a severe summer storm rolled in, and a fallen tree trapped the groomsmen in their neighborhood—they couldn’t get out to reach the ceremony. I didn’t even find out about it until after the ceremony, because Delaney handled the situation so seamlessly. She stayed calm, cool, and completely in control, managing everything with grace and professionalism.
She worked closely with the venue staff to set up all the décor, including the aisle and wedding arch, and it turned out absolutely beautiful. Her attention to detail and dedication made all the difference.
Because of Delaney, I was able to be present, at ease, and truly soak in every moment of my wedding day. I am so incredibly grateful and would recommend her to any bride without hesitation.

Best Wedding Planner!
I honestly can't find enough wonderful words to describe Delaney and her incredible company. My husband and I had the pleasure of working with her for a year and a half as we planned our wedding, and she transformed the entire experience into something that can be stressful to something truly seamless and fun! From the very beginning, we felt completely confident knowing she was on top of every detail, and her calm, organized presence gave us peace of mind throughout the process.
Delaney is not only exceptionally talented and creative, but she is also kind, attentive, and genuinely caring — she goes above and beyond for her clients in ways that truly touched us. Because of her dedication and efforts, our wedding day was nothing short of perfect; it exceeded all of our hopes and became a beautiful memory that we will cherish forever.
To say that our special day wouldn't have been the same without her and her team would be an understatement. Delaney made what could have been stressful into the most joyful, magical day of our lives, and we are forever grateful! -

We cannot recommend Delaney enough! We chose her partial planning package for our Charlottesville wedding and were beyond impressed. From the start, Delaney's attention to detail, excellent communication, and ability to simplify the planning process stood out. She is incredibly organized and knowledgeable, making what could have been an overwhelming experience feel manageable and even enjoyable.
On the wedding day, Delaney's calm and collected demeanor was a godsend. She seamlessly navigated approaching rain showers, keeping us informed and confident in every decision. When a few showers followed our ceremony, Delaney flawlessly transitioned our guests to the tent, coordinating everything outside with precision and grace.

Delaney is absolutely amazing and we would recommend her and her business to all of our friends and family. We hired Delaney as our "day of coordinator" and our wedding would not have been the same without her. Her communication leading up to and on the wedding day was fantastic. She was on top of every detail! She made our wedding so much less stressful by anticipating problems and being available to tackle details at a moments notice. She truly went above and beyond!

We hired Events by Delaney for our wedding on July 30, 2023 in Washington DC. We hired Delaney about 3 months before our wedding day. My wife and I had already done the majority of the wedding planning by that point so we were really just looking for somebody to help us with final details and day of coordination. Delaney had a wedding management option for us that worked perfectly based on the stage of planning we were at and what our needs were. Delaney was quick to start gathering all the information from us she needed and from there we had continuous conversations and communication with her on getting all the final details figured out with the venue and our vendors. Delaney worked closely with our venue and vendors to make sure everybody had all the details and information they needed. Delaney was very organized and detail oriented to make sure everything would be planned and organized exactly how we would want it to be on our wedding day. She was very helpful with putting together our wedding day timeline. We felt very comfortable going into the wedding day that she was well prepared and ready to manage the wedding day for us. She promoted herself as someone who executes in the background and doesn't try to take over your wedding and the planning. She found a great balance of helping us with thoughts and ideas but also made sure to stick to the vision that my wife and I had for the wedding.
When our wedding day finally came around, everything went pretty much flawlessly! Delaney did a fantastic job making sure everything went exactly as planned and that our timeline was followed as close as possible. Everything was so on time and went exactly as we hoped it would go. It was really important to my wife and I that we didn't have to worry about all the details and logistics on the wedding day so we could just enjoy our big day. Delaney made sure that was the case for us as she truly handled all the details and coordination on the wedding day and it all went great! We were extremely satisfied with the services Delaney provided us and she was always very responsive and easy to work with. -

Events by Delaney should without a doubt be the go-to wedding planner/coordinator for your wedding! My now-husband and I got married on October 21 in Baltimore, MD and Delaney made sure everything went flawlessly! We gave her quite the challenge with three different venues (photos, church, and reception) and transportation from three locations for 130 guests. Delaney and her team handled this challenge incredibly, with several guests complimenting us on the seamless flow of the day.
