Amazing Coordinator
Sweety is exactly what anyone would want from an event planner – she is very knowledgeable, easy to speak with, instantly responsive, and she truly has a vested interest in the success of the event. There were many late nights and early mornings when we had an urgent question for Sweety. We never had to consider whether she would reply promptly. She always responded within minutes of us reaching out. She guided us through the wedding planning process. When we needed vendor recommendations, she had them ready. When we felt unsure about the setup of the wedding, she shared her thoughts and experiences with prior weddings. On our wedding day, Sweety and her co-coordinator dedicated themselves to us, our guests, and our vendors. We felt less stressed during the event because we knew that they would manage anything that may come up. Our vendors have also mentioned that Sweety was a pleasure to work with. So smooth and stress free wedding day
We met Sweety and the Event Cracker team first hand at our friends wedding around summer 2021. You know. Those 110+ degree days? Yeah. Their venue canceled on them 3 days before their wedding due to the heat and THEY WORKED MIRACLES. New venue, moved the caterers, booked transportation, flawless results. It was an amazing wedding.
Fast forward to 2024. We just had to reconnect for hiring Event Cracker for full service planner (early planning through day of). We had tons of phone and video call check ins, and she helped us navigate communications with our vendors, contracts, fine details, and things I never thought I would need to concern myself with. You are missing out on A LOT without having someone on your wedding planning team with connections and years of experience in the industry.

You can't go wrong!
Outside of deciding to spend the rest of our lives together, Sweety was the best decision we've made! We had many family circumstances on both the bride and groom side that lead to us putting together a multicultural wedding in 3 months. Sweety made us both feel cool, calm, and collected that whole time! We accomplished an amazing multicultural wedding with little stress, all thanks to her confident mindset and detail oriented planning. She was mindful of both cultures (Indian and American) and making sure all guests had fun and felt comfortable! She guided us in the right direction and offered more specific decision making if she could tell we were struggling committing to a decision. She was there every step of the way and was always available to check in on a moment's notice if we needed to check in. On the day of, she provided excellent coordination and I was never needed to answer any questions - my husband and I could just enjoy ourselves on the big day with zero worries! She managed all guests, vendors, set up, and questions that came about. We truly couldn't have pulled off this wonderful wedding without her and we are ever so grateful! Run, don't walk, to book Sweety for your next event!
Sweety is worth her weight in gold. She is incredibly detail oriented, so friendly, and not only thought of everything but was so supportive of all our nontraditional ideas for our wedding. We had about 105 people at our event, and because we had eloped the year before due to Covid, we wanted to make some changes to the traditional wedding day timeline. Sweety not only embraced these changes (like walking ourselves down the aisle), but thought of brilliant ways to still include our family in our processional. During the many months of planning, Sweety offered to be on nearly every call we had with other vendors, from the DJ, photographer, venue, and florist. She has an incredible checklist and timeline spreadsheet that made planning much less overwhelming than it could have been, and she was just an excellent resource throughout this process. At one point about 3 weeks before the wedding, we realized we needed floral risers for our ceremony area. Before we could scramble to find an event rental company, Sweety had already sent us two recommendations that had exactly what we were looking for at an extremely reasonable price point. On the day of our event, Sweety and her assistant Alysia arrived early and had every detail we’d discussed placed and ready to go. They were also incredibly thorough with helping pack everything up at the end of the event, and had everything done in about half an hour. My mom and aunt were expecting to need the full hour for breakdown, but instead were home within an hour. We cannot recommend Sweety and her team enough!!Sweety is worth her weight in gold. I can't say enough good things about Sweety and her team at Eventcracker! They truly went above and beyond to make our wedding perfect. From start to finish, Sweety's attention to detail and meticulous planning blew us away.
At first, I thought I only wanted to hire Sweety for day-of coordination. With my dad's event planning background and my experience as an Executive Assistant, we figured we had it covered. I am so happy we reconsidered and went for the full planning package instead! Sweety handled everything flawlessly, allowing us to focus on the things that mattered most to us.
The Wedding Weekend was amazing, thanks to Sweety's impeccable timing and coordination with all the vendors. She had backup plans for the backup plans, and her professionalism was evident in every interaction. You could tell she was well-liked and respected by everyone involved.

Here’s why:
We had a destination wedding in Washington and had never seen our venue in person before the wedding, so Sweety was our go-to for all our logistical needs and questions. Wedding planning isn’t always easy, and planning a west coast wedding while living on the east coast makes it a little harder. We couldn’t have done it without Sweety.
She’s kind, caring, attentive, and very responsive. We had several meetings prior to the wedding to make sure everything stayed on track and she was a constant reassurance that everything would come together smoothly. She even took care of hiring our bartenders and cleaner, all who did an amazing job at our wedding.
Although Sweety couldn’t be present on our wedding day due to some circumstances out of her control, she prepared her assistant, Misty, so well and we never doubted that we would be taken care of on wedding day.
All of the little details were executed perfectly by her team on wedding day, and we didn’t have to worry about anything. They also took care of the clean up at the end of the event so everyone could continue celebrating until the very end.

The best decision of our wedding!
Sweety is an absolute dream to work with and our wedding truly wouldn’t have gone off without her. She is the perfect mix of kindness and practicality, and takes true joy in helping people achieve their perfect day.
We started looking for day-of coordinators, not convince we needed a full-blown wedding planner, but due to Sweety’s quite reasonable rates, we ended up booking her full planning package. Sweety helped us build the logistics plan for a completely off-the-beaten track wedding in a state park, in a barn that needed every single item from the tables and chairs upward. She met with us regularly and sometimes at the last minute upon our request, made sure we knew exactly what we should be checking off at each interval, and even hired a team of servers to help with catering, setup, and the gamut of other tasks we couldn’t have foreseen and ended up needing.
Sweety deftly delt with last minute changes brought about by our venue. She had the most empathetic response to my tables vs. tablecloths décor meltdown (despite the fact that she has done dozens of weddings and obviously knew these details wouldn’t end up mattering), and always helped relieve any stressors along the way. Sweety is an absolute dream to work with and our wedding truly wouldn’t have gone off without her. She is the perfect mix of kindness and practicality, and takes true joy in helping people achieve their perfect day.
We started looking for day-of coordinators, not convince we needed a full-blown wedding planner, but due to Sweety’s quite reasonable rates, we ended up booking her full planning package. Sweety helped us build the logistics plan for a completely off-the-beaten track wedding in a state park, in a barn that needed every single item from the tables and chairs upward. She met with us regularly and sometimes at the last minute upon our request, made sure we knew exactly what we should be checking off at each interval, and even hired a team of servers to help with catering, setup, and the gamut of other tasks we couldn’t have foreseen and ended up needing.
Sweety deftly delt with last minute changes brought about by our venue. She had the most empathetic response to my tables vs. tablecloths décor meltdown (despite the fact that she has done dozens of weddings and obviously knew these details wouldn’t end up mattering), and always helped relieve any stressors along the way. She was hired as a day of coordinator but her services extended far past any of our expectations and she was with us every step of the way as we planned. A true miracle worker
My husband put it best. Sweety from Event Cracker was our savior.
We hired Sweety as our day-of coordinator, but we both know she went above and beyond what we hired her for. From my first conversation with her, I could tell Sweety was fully invested. We weren't just another gig she was trying to get, or another weekend she was trying to book. We were two people she wanted to get to know and wanted to make sure our day was the best day it could be -- and it was, thanks to Sweety.
She calmed the chaos, negotiated with our sometimes difficult venue coordinator, and she even managed to tell my father what to do on the day of the wedding (something I'm not sure I've ever seen done before!) Her assistant, Misty was also an incredible help on our big day and we're very grateful to her as well.
When it came to planning our wedding, Sweety helped immensely by giving us checklists of things we needed to accomplish before our next conversation with her. That method worked so well for us. Sweety saved our wedding after a week-of venue cancellation!!
We started working with Sweety as a day-of coordinator a few months before the wedding and she was incredibly helpful. She quickly responded to all of our questions, did a walk-through of the venue with us to help visualize the floor plan and timeline, and helped us with some lingering vendor questions - everything was great. Then, three days before our ceremony our venue cancelled on us due to the extreme heat (it was projected to be 106F on our wedding day) and Sweety completely saved the day. She talked with our initial venue with us to make sure we had gone through all of our options then she called 22 venues in the Portland area. When the only venue available was an hour drive away, she called 14 transportation companies and was able to find busses to transport our entire guest list. Within about 5 hours of our venue cancelling on us we had a new venue and transportation - completely thanks to Sweety. We genuinely could not have done it without her!! Also, with all of the changes, we didn't see our venue until the day of the wedding and Sweety completely handled the entire floor plan, updating the timeline, coordinating the venue change with all of our vendors, and many, many day-of mishaps - and did it all with a smile. I genuinely can't believe that she pulled it off and we still had the day of our dreams. Worth every penny
I just want to say THANK YOU Sweety!!! She has been the key to getting this day to run smoothly, by meeting me at the rentals, taking care of emailing the vendors, answering all my annoying questions and just staying on top of everything. Even as far as giving me a deadline to get the decor done for the wedding so I can focus on myself and relax.
Event cracker is by far the best decision I made during this whole wedding planning process.
