Hiring Candace was just the beat decision!
Best decision! Candace was recommended to us by our venue and then another friend knew someone who worked with her and loved her. We met for coffee and just like that I knew she’d be amazing. Candace is so easy to talk to and great at taking the guessing out of things. She provides suggestions on vendors to narrow the search and will give her opinion without over-stepping. Candace is so professional and did a fantastic job making our day beautiful. We even received so many compliments from our friends, family and bridal party after the wedding for how well Candace and her assistant Amber, also amazing, handled everything. Planning a wedding can be tough, especially during covid, but Candace made it so much easier. She definitely made sure we were taken care of even if she couldn’t attend a tasting she sent backup and fully clued them in in our wedding. I would not have traded having Candace help us for anything and ended up with a friend in the process! The best thanks I can give is to recommend her for anyone looking for a fun, professional and amazing planner! -

Daughters Wedding 10/10/20
We were blessed that Erin Padgetts Events were given to us to help plan our Daughters Wedding Day. Candace Sharpe was our Wedding Planner.
So Professional, so Kind, So Caring, so Knowledgeable, and she also became a member of our Family ! She never let us have any worries. She was on top of Everything. Candace made our Daughters Wedding the Wedding we always dreamed for her... Thank you Sweet Candace -

You need a Candace when planning a wedding.
We had Candace and I can't begin to put into words how amazing she is!! She made everything we talked about over the year come true plus some, I couldn't have planned a 2020 wedding without her. She become my person to cry to, the one that helped me solve the problems that were not even problems and honestly got to know me and my husband though the whole process. On my wedding day, all I had to do was get ready and exit she handled everything for us. We were so much more than just a couple she was working with, I would and do tell everyone they "Need A Candace" when planning a wedding! -

Best Decision of all our Wedding Plans!
We had Candace as our lead planner and I have to say that Candace is THE BEST! Hiring her for wedding planning services was by far the best decision I made throughout the wedding planning process. She is so detailed and organized it really took all of the stress off of me - not to mention she is so fun to work with! She has amazing vendor recommendations and really great working relationships with all of the vendors!
When our March wedding was postponed due to COVID only 5 days before the wedding, Candace didn’t miss a beat. She worked with every one of our vendors to let them know what was happening and make plans with them for our new date. On top of helping us to postpone our original wedding plans, she helped us plan a mini-mony for that Saturday (our original date) so we could still get married! On the day of our original wedding date she arrived at the location a few hours before us and set up a beautiful ceremony site. She even thought ahead to bring champagne and mini Bundt cakes so we could have a toast and some cake to celebrate our marriage! I feel honored that she was part of the best day of my life. After we were married, we still had to plan for our postponed wedding in August. Candace helped us navigate all of the logistical COVID changes we had to make and she was so incredibly supportive emotionally! On our wedding day in August, once again Candace was amazing! She set up our venue beautifully - it was better than I ever imagined and she handled every last detail! The day was so enjoyable because I knew she had everything under control! Our wedding was beyond perfect and I know we have Candace to thank for that! I honestly can’t say enough good things about her!-

Super friendly, organized, energetic
We secured Erin as our day-of coordinator for our Indian wedding. She is the most energetic, enthusiastic and friendly person. Indian weddings have a lot of moving parts and she was on the ball, organized and had great ideas. We had several calls before doing a site visit where she helped us ask the right questions. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 we had to cancel our wedding events. During this difficult and stressful time, Erin was a problem-solver and so helpful and accommodating. -

Tiffany McCord with Erin Padgett Events deserves 1000000 stars for all the hard work, dedication, positive energy, and FUN she brought to our wedding planning process! Seriously. She’s phenomenal. She was able to take the thoughts in my head, put them on paper, and create them into our DREAM wedding. She’s so laid back which made collaborating about all the small, important, details easy peasy. She knows how to ball on a budget, which was super important in our case! And, she has an eye for design, making her the artist behind our floral arrangements! She designed our entire venue the day of the wedding with the most gorgeous flowers she picked out for us. Not only did I walk away from this process a happily married woman, I walked away with memories from the best day ever and I couldn’t have done it without Tiffany. To my planner, who became my sweet friend, CHEERS TO TIFFANY! Best wedding planner, EVER. -

The Barnhardt’s
Candace is the bomb dot com!!! She made my Boho dream wedding a reality. I have told so many people that hiring her was the absolute best money spent for our wedding! We had our wedding on our land and had absolutely nothing but a bare landscape to work with. She turned it into a boho wonderland and handled every little detail! I couldn’t have done it without her!! I would have never thought I would connect with a wedding planner like I did, but now I definitely consider her a lifelong friend. 💛

Best Planners!
There are not enough positive things we can say about Tiffany at Erin Padgett Events. We knew our ceremony and reception would be handled beautifully, but we realized very quickly with Tiffany how little stress we would feel with planning. Every step of the way Tiffany was right there with us, providing recommendations and suggestions, contacting vendors on our behalf, and doing it all confidently and stress free. The day of the wedding she handled every single thing. We had high expectations, and Tiffany surpassed all of them! Having Tiffany and Erin Padgett Events help us throughout the planning and at the wedding was easily one of the best decisions we made, second only to being husband and wife. -

Great Job!
Erin knows weddings very very well - it’s very obvious she has a passion for it and getting the vendor that is best for you. We could not have gotten our big day together without her and Candace. We got married on private property and had to start from scratch from design - I was able to sit with a Erin and communicate what my vision was and it all came together beautifully. On the big day, Erin and Candace were amazing on coordination and keeping things together - they even helped me when my dress broke and sowed it back together -

Top Notch Wedding Planner
Words cannot express my gratitude for Erin Padgett and her staff. My wedding weekend was something out of a magazine!
Her and her team helped alleviate any additional stress leading up to the wedding by providing helpful tips and resources that kept me and my husband on track. She took the reigns on our rehearsal day and made sure all of the wedding party knew exactly what they were doing, and made it fun and enjoyable.
On our wedding day, I knew I had absolutely nothing to stress about! Every little detail was thought out. I couldn't have asked for a better planner. My favorite part about Erin is that she respected my input and always listened. She advocates for the bride and groom through all avenues and will make sure your vision comes to life.
Erin is so incredibly organized and high energy; her personality is perfect for her profession. If you need a wedding planner, her and her team are top notch. Book now, you won’t be disappointed.

A Must Have for Any Wedding
The best decision we made for our wedding was hiring a wedding planner, and Candace with Erin Padgett Events was wonderful! Candace has a fun, bubbly personality, and you can tell she genuinely loves what she does. Candace was a huge stress reliever for me throughout the wedding planning process - she mediated between my mom and me when we had differing opionions, handled all vendor relationships, and reassured me when I sent crazy, anxiety-induced emails. Our wedding went off without a hitch! My husband told me the day after our wedding how awesome Candace was (she kept his glass full the entire wedding night). You can’t go wrong with Candace and Erin Padgett Events on your team!! -

Candace was AMAZING! She was so helpful, professional, relatable, and fun! We brought her in with about 6 months until our wedding and she made all of our dreams come true! The wedding was SO MUCH FUN! She and Tiffany handled any hiccups, spoke with my family when they had issues, worked with the bridal party, and made sure we had the best time! Great team players and leaders
My daughter was moving to Charlotte and we knew nothing about the area. I insisted she hire a planner and my daughter selected Erin Padgett and her team. I could not have been happier. Erin and team worked with us providing vendors for us to select from, appropriate for keeping on the desired budget. She also made sure that decisions were made in a timely manner and explain the details involved with selecting specific vendors and venues. In the end, we I don't think we could have made a better choice. All team members were very adept at handling the few "personality" issues that come up so often with brides. -

We had the honor and privilege of working with Candace Primm, who is part of Erin Padgett Events. My daughter's wedding was a month ago and we are still on cloud nine and we could absolutely go through the whole wedding planning process and wedding day again! The wedding exceeded our expectations!
Candace is incredibly professional, organized and creative. She offered multiple suggestions when we were unsure of what we wanted and she implemented our vision perfectly! The wedding day was relaxed, fun and full of joy, love and happiness because Candace was there taking care of everything and keeping everyone on schedule in her kind, calm manner!

Tiffany M. With Erin Padgett helped make our special day PERFECT!!! From helping with big plans & decorating, to reminding us of all the little details we would’ve never thought of. I don’t know what we would’ve done without her- wedding planning involves so much more (tedious details) than I would’ve ever imagined. She made sure everything looked perfect, that everyone was timely & knew their spots, & constantly checked on us throughout the entire wedding process & day of to make sure we had everything we needed. She suggested & helped reach out to lots of vendors- including florists, hair & makeup, DJs, decor rentals, transportation, etc. This helped tremendously bc prior to having her as a wedding planner- no one would even respond to my phone calls or email messages. Vendors can be so busy & hard to reach!! We were so lucky to have Tiffany help us with our big day. She was the perfect wedding planner- so creative & talented, not to mention super sweet & thoughtful. She made the process as stress free as possible & she was fun & easy to work with!! If I had to do my wedding all over again the ONLY thing I would change is hiring Candace earlier. Originally we didn't think we'd need a planner. About 3 months out and after hearing enough people say having a coordinator was the best money spent in their budget (or that it was the one thing they regretted not having), we were able to snag Candace! I first met Candace when I bought my wedding dress at Paige and Elliott Bridal Boutique. Commercial break - if you’ve never been or are still looking for your dress, RUN to this place. AMAZING doesn’t even begin to describe it. From the second I met Candace and Erin, I was in love with them. They are the definition of a dream team!
Every single thing about my wedding was perfect. My husband and I are still getting compliments from our guests about how it was the most beautiful AND FUN wedding they had ever been to. Whenever I needed Candace, all I had to do was pick up the phone and Candace was there with her support and her ideas as to how she could get whatever it is that we needed done. The day of, she made sure order came from the chaos and I never had to know about any issues. It was obvious that she had everything so firmly under control, which meant that both of us and our families could relax and enjoy our day. I honestly can't say enough about Candace. We couldn't have pulled it off without her. Candace Primm of Erin Padgett Events is PHENOMENAL. Hands down, the best! I highly recommend her for whatever event you are planning.

Using Erin Padgett Events was by far the best decision I made in the whole wedding process! I worked specifically with Tiffany and couldn’t say enough amazing things about her. While planning my wedding that was in Salisbury NC I currently was living in California, so having her was essential. She was great at communication even with my time difference. She connected me to the most amazing vendors, from my wedding cake to the florist. She made a very stressful and time consuming process painless and easy! The whole Erin Padgett team is professional, attentive, and very organized. The day of my wedding Tiffany was a rockstar!! Several of my family members commented on how well my wedding flowed, which can only be attributed to Tiffany. She made sure my husband and I had time to ourselves and to eat! One of my favorite memories of the night was made possible by Tiffany. While our guests lined up for our send off, Tiffany told the DJ to play one last song for a private dance for my husband and I. I would recommend Tiffany to everyone whether you are a local bride or far away, using Erin Padgett Events is so worth it!! -

My husband and I agree that working with Erin Padgett Events was the best decision we made through the wedding planning process!! Tiffany was our lead planner, and she was absolutely amazing from day one. She was knowledgeable about all vendors, but we specifically loved her recommendations and advice about: florists, cakes, DJ, rentals, and transportation. She helped us negotiate contracts, which saved us hundreds of dollars with each vendor. During the planning process, Tiffany was always available via email or text and responded quickly to my random questions. It was so great to have feedback from someone who was confident and experienced. She was the one I would call when my MOH and husband were sick of hearing about things like invitation fonts, place cards styles, and linen colors. She was always patient, thoughtful, reassuring, and kind.
During wedding week, Tiffany managed all of the little details, like assembling our hotel welcome bags, and she even ran our rehearsal. On wedding day she was a rock star. She kept everyone on schedule, was calm and cool under pressure, and was our go-to with any questions or concerns.
The best part of the whole experience was when we walked into the reception and were stunned by how beautiful it was!! One of the first things I said to my new husband was “this looks so much better than I ever imagined.” It was truly incredible!
To say that we loved working with Erin Padgett Events and Tiffany is an understatement. They are truly the BEST!!

Erin and her team are amazing! I worked specifically with Kristin, who did a fantastic job and was such a lifesaver on the day of the wedding....everything went perfectly! I highly recommend a wedding planner in general -- especially if you don't have family in the area. Erin Padgett is, hands down, one of the best in the business. She is an unequivocal answer to any future bride's or event's wants or needs. Erin is clear and concise; yet affable and caring. She is both intelligent and intuitive. Her exemplary event planning abilities are clear within moments of meeting her, nit the benefits of hiring Erin goes beyond her expertise in planning. Erin is someone who will go above-and-beyond for the needs of her clients. She is detail oriented so that nothing goes unforeseen while also being able to see the overall picture and capture the essence of your idea throughout your entire event. As many have said, hiring Erin was one of the best decisions we made. Not only did Candace guide me and my daughter as we were planning the wedding, she assured me, as the mother of the bride, that everything that day would be perfect...and it was! Having the reception at our house was very challenging, but the professionalism of Candace and her team made the day go “smooth as silk” - it was beautiful and fun and the compliments from the guests go on and on. It was a true pleasure working with Candace....she's just AWESOME. My daughter and I said it a million times that Candace was the best and we just don't know what we would have done without her! The only negative is that now I will not have a reason to talk to Candace and I am gong to miss her! It was the best money we spent! Hiring Erin as our wedding planner was the best decision we made during the entire wedding process! At first, my mom and I tried to tackle the planning process ourselves but quickly became overwhelmed. We met with Erin and a couple other potential planners. We knew she was the one we wanted from the minute we left her office. She was so accommodating for my husband and me. We got married in my hometown where Erin is based, but we live about 2 hours away. This was not a problem at all for her. She skyped with us several times and was great at responding to all of my emails. I felt like I could ask her anything. She was instrumental in laying out our budget and ensuring that we stayed within it. Also, our wedding day went as smoothly as we could have ever hoped! She and her assistant, Colleen, handled everything; we felt like royalty! Our bridal party and families could not stop talking about Erin in the weeks after the wedding because she handled everything so well- from coordinating a 20-person bridal party, to pinning half of my bustle on the fly because the tailer left out a few ties. She is AMAZING at what she does and we felt so at ease with her as our planner. Would highly recommend Erin to any bride!! -

She is AMAZING, was incredibly helpful, organized, thoughtful, caring, and overall supportive throughout the planning process. I seriously cannot say enough great things about her. I began planning our Charlotte wedding from hundreds of miles away while I finished up my senior year of college and my future husband began his seven month Navy deployment. While there were large aspects of the wedding I wanted to plan myself, I began my search for a wedding planner to cover those other aspects. After with speaking with Erin Padgett and Colleen Williams, her Associate Planner, I felt perfectly at ease and incredibly excited to delve into the planning with them by my side - they are creative, engaging, and ooh-so fun to work with!
When I spoke with Erin and Colleen on the phone, I already had a couple of vendors lined up, and it turns out that they already had a great relationship with each of them. I absolutely loved their suggestions for the other vendors, and with their help, I formed the perfect team for my wedding day. Jay and I worked primarily with Colleen Williams. As the time before our wedding drew nearer, she became the most instrumental part of the planning process in a way that far surpassed our expectations. Colleen's even-keeled demeanor jived perfectly with our personalities and type-A style. She went above and beyond in helping us shape our ideas into reality - especially those that diverged from what seem to be the typical wedding requirements nowadays. She facilitated every detail our our big day from storing my personal collection of leather bound books at her house for months until we brought them out to decorate our reception to meeting us multiple times on Saturday mornings with short notice as Jay and I only had select weekends when we both happened to be in Charlotte. Colleen organized the vendors and the timing of our wedding day perfectly and from the evening of the wedding rehearsal to the morning we left for honeymoon, the entire weekend went off without a hitch thanks to Colleen and her team. Erin and Colleen are incredible!!! -

Wow! Erin Padgett Events successfully executed our vision for the perfect wedding. As a first time MOB, I was hesitant to relinquish many of the planning details & tasks to someone else, but Erin not only handled all we asked her to do, but did it superbly. She far exceeded our expectations. Her help was instrumental in implementing the logistics of an outdoor ceremony, as well as a seated dinner for 200+ people involving 4 entrees, seating assignments, table #'s, place cards, etc. Her advice in selecting & working with our vendors, like our florist and rental company, was awesome. Her ideas & creativity really helped when it came to selecting wedding favors, late night snacks, and all those little extras. She handled so many of our last minute details like purchasing frames, sparklers, and candy to printing our signs, place cards, programs, welcome bag note, etc. She was fun to work with, personable & patient. I'd highly recommend Erin & her staff - Colleen was great too. -

It is nearly impossible to truly capture in words how AMAZING Erin Padgett was, throughout our entire wedding planning process and the actual event! A wedding planner was not in our initial budget, nor did we really think it was necessary, since I'm a very organized person. However, spending the money and hiring Erin was our BEST DECISION! Erin was referred to me by my contact at the Embassy Suites. I originally had booked a different "day of decorator" that I found at a wedding expo back in January, but this fell through. I believe things happen for a reason and I have no complaints. I am forever grateful because I can't imagine anyone else decorating our reception hall. I wish I had found Erin sooner! Where do I even begin to explain how INCREDIBLE Erin with Simply Southern is to work with for your wedding?! I don’t think there is a word to describe that. However I can say that working with Erin and Colleen was one of the BEST decisions that we ever made and wish I could rate them 15/5 starts! In addition to truly having a passion for her work, having an infectious energy and personality, she is the queen of organization, keeping every up to date and on the same page and putting out any fires that may arise. We had a few issues throughout the planning process and Erin took the reins and we knew we could 110% trust her to resolve the issue. She knows how to get the best from vendors and how to work with them so that way we were completely stress free. She will go to bat for her brides to make sure that both the planning process and the big day goes smoothly and turns out to be even more than you could ever imagine. My husband & I got engaged in May 2014. I knew right away that I wanted to be my own wedding planner, because we had a 6 day wedding week full of festivities, and I love organizing, hosting, planning events in general so of course I wanted to be the one to do it all for my own big day. However, realistically I knew I wouldn't be able to implement my timeline, keep guests orderly, or even have a chance to set up my escort cards, decorations, etc. That is when I turned to Erin -- as much as wedding planning was stressful and fun for me all at the same time, hiring Simply Southern Wed allowed me to truly step back and enjoy the day I married my high school sweetheart. Although I had the package that was for day of coordination, Erin met with me weeks in advance to get all my timelines, vendor lists, special requests, and even small details like our guest book, name cards, photo frames, etc. She was there to answer all my emails, and organize all our contracts and vendor timelines as well. The Best Wedding Planner Award goes to. . . Erin Padgett of Simply Southern Wedding & Event Design and her team!!! Shortly after our daughter got engaged, friends began to tell us the best thing they did for their daughters’ weddings was to hire a Wedding Planner. Our initial thoughts were, “We’re quite organized, and we can pull this off on our own”. However, the more we contemplated this; we decided the Wedding Day might be more enjoyable if we didn’t need to worry about any of the particulars and what a backup plan might be, should one of the many vendors one deals with, not deliver what was promised. After interviewing several planners separately and upon meeting Erin, my daughter and I unanimously agreed that Erin HAS to be our planner! In the 12 months of utilizing Erin’s expertise, we have never looked back and we count our lucky stars that we hired her! She not only became a great resource for ideas, recommendations, vendor discounts (since she’s in the “business”) she became our friend and ally. When we had multiple issues with the venue liaison and I happened to mention it to her, she confidently stated, “I got this, this is what I do”. Erin was amazing from beginning to end. We waited too long to get a wedding coordinator, and once we did, we couldn't believe we waited for so long. Erin puts everything together, remembering every detail. If you want a stress free wedding, go with Erin! =) -

Erin and her staff were amazing. From the minute we got engaged (or maybe before then), I knew Erin was my girl! She helped me find the ideal location for our NYE wedding. We had a 6 month engagement, and knowing NYE might book up quick, we knew we needed Erin. She helped negotiate pricing, gave us amazing recommendations of vendors, and kept me stress free. The one NON-Erin vendor recommendation was a friend of our. We ran into an issue with this person, which is handled very professionally and efficiently. The day of the wedding, I didn't lift a finger. Erin and her staff coordinated everything! We had a perfect day and we enjoyed every moment of it. We couldn't have done it without her. -

I had no clue about wedding planners in the area and I was referred to Simply Southern Weddings and could not have been happier. Erin made my life as a bride SO much easier and for that I will be forever thankful to her! We used her as a partial planner/day of coordinator and she went WAY above and beyond the call of duty for us. From the day we had our first meeting she was so friendly & welcoming - you just couldn’t help but like her :). She’s so organized and did an awesome job of getting things done at every meeting, it was great having her help knock things of the “to do” list! I was clueless when it came to the decor for the wedding & one of my favorite things about her was her honesty, if she didn’t think it would look good she would let me know and that is exactly what I needed. The week of the wedding she took care of everything for us and it was such a relief to not have to worry about anything. I fully trusted she would get everything done as planned and that is exactly what she did. The day of the wedding her & her assistant were no joke, they got down to business and did it all. For us, the number 1 priority for that day was for it to be stress-free and Erin gave us that and we were able to just enjoy it.
I would highly recommend Erin & her team as your wedding planner she is well worth every penny. She has genuine interest in you, your family and helping make your special day perfect and she becomes a friend and makes it fun along the way! -

I really cannot say enough about Erin and her team at Simply Southern Wedding & Event Design! The first time I met with Erin I truly had no idea what I wanted for my wedding...other than twinkle lights. Seriously. That's it. And if you are planning a wedding you might understand that having that little of an idea about what you want can cause a little bit of panic in a bride. Erin, however, was not panicked. She immediately put me at ease and managed to offer wonderful ideas without ever seeming pushy. She always encouraged me to think about what I really wanted and gave me room to explore various options. I immediately knew that I needed her to help me throughout the entire process and I can honestly say it is the best money I have ever spent. Erin is fun, trustworthy, organized, energetic, smart, and dedicated to her clients. She not only made sure I knew all of the various options available to me, but she went to bat for me with vendors when issues arose, as they tend to do. She always offered multiple options for vendors and I never felt like she pushed any particular vendor or company. She was available to come with me to meet with vendors and helped me weed through the ins and outs of the wedding industry that I was not familiar with, and in doing so, ended up saving me thousands of dollars. She is incredibly competent regarding the wedding business and was able to walk me through the entire process with tremendous patience and organization. Throughout the nine months or so that I worked with Erin I found myself frequently saying to her " you can do that???" and her answer was always the same "Of course I can, that's why you hired me!" From the initial planning stage, to addressing envelopes and managing RSVPS, to helping me apply fashion tape to my dress on the big day, Erin did it all. I trusted Erin and her team completely throughout this process and my wedding was everything I could have wanted, twinkle lights and all. -

Erin was the most amazing wedding planner EVER! She and her team were so professional and quick, my wedding day was a complete breeze. She is creative, completely knowledgeable, and extremely friendly. I think she would be a great match with most any personality. I highly recommend her. She is great for the Bride that doesn't have a clue how to wedding plan or what she wants....but she is also great for a very detailed bride like myself. I knew what I wanted in a lot of things and she was able to just take it and run. I can't tell you how wonderful my wedding day was. Thanks Erin! -

Erin is an incredible woman whose passion for weddings and coordinating fueled her on the day of. She was my day of coordinator for my wedding and it was the best feeling to hand everything over to her two days before the wedding. It took no effort to trust her with everything that I had planned up until that point. She is so knowledgeable and familiar with everything wedding that she already thinks of the details before you can tell her. She was available throughout the planning process for any questions I had and to help keep me on a timeline and remind me of certain deadlines. She kept me sane and reminded me what it was all about when I needed it:) She has a beautiful heart that every bride needs on her journey. She also took over contact of all of my vendors for me a week or two before the wedding so that I could be stress free. She ran my rehearsal perfectly with a bridal party of ten groomsmen and ten bridesmaids- which was so impressive! Her sweet and spunky personality makes it fun and enjoyable, while her organizational skills and demanding presence make her just what every bride needs on her big day. She is incredible! Our wedding day was perfect and a lot of it is owed to her! -

I own a DJ company and have had the privilege of working with Erin on multiple weddings. My DJs and I can't say enough great things about her, both professionally and personally. She is full of life, such fun to be around & very organized. She works so hard for her couples to make sure their wedding day is amazing. I've seen firsthand the hard work she puts in and the end results. Erin helped us with our Grand Opening and she was fantastic! In the past we've attempted to put on events ourselves, resulting in an additional burden on our staff and our sanity. Having Erin help us not only eased those burdens but she was able to provide insightful do's and don't regarding the event. I would highly recommend Erin for any of your event planning needs! -

We've been married for two full days and cannot stop talking about how perfect our day was much of which is due to our amazing wedding planner, Erin and her sidekicks, Colleen and Jonathan!
Upon getting engaged we reached out to more than a few coordinators with a plan for 'Day of' coordination. Once we met with Erin we knew we wanted to work with this spunky girl. We even decided to have her help with more than just the 'day of' stuff - and I am so glad that she did. This girl worked her tail off to keep us within budget without skimping on making our dreams come true!
Throughout the planning process Erin became a close friend and confidant. When we felt overwhelmed she became a therapist and helped to alleviate many of the stresses a newly engaged couple can face during the planning process. Planning our big day with Erin was fun and easy - just the way it should be!
When our big day arrived Erin and her team knocked our socks off. We arrived and the day was more than we could have ever wanted. It was so easy to share our ideas and watch her make those ideas come to life!
Hiring Simply Southern Wedding & Event Design was LITERALLY the best decision we made while planning for our wedding. I promise you will not regret it! -

Erin Padgett Events is a great planning service!
After considering lots of alternatives, we went with Candace at EPE, and we're glad we did. They truly care about what you want your day to be about, and from day one, Candace was all about trying to understand what we envisioned for our wedding. There were a few bumps along the way, which is normal for any event, but we were glad we had Candace there to fight battles for us, advocate on our behalf, and make it right in the end. They made sure the day-of went off without a hitch, handling things behind the scenes, and made sure we were taken care of every step of the way. Of course, there are some cases where we wish things were done differently, but overall the value of their services, the time and effort they put in, and their consistent focus on the wedding couple are what ultimately gives them five stars. I would definitely recommend them for your special day. -

Erin took the stress out of wedding planning!
Erin was full of energy and personality the moment we met her. You can instantly tell she is passionate about what she does. We were on the fence about hiring a wedding planner. After several people highly recommended her we knew she was the one!
She did an awesome job listening to our vision as well as incorporating the asks of our mothers and other family members. She narrowed down decisions for us and took the stress out of planning.
The day of was a breeze and a wonderful day! Erin and her team took care of everything, from organizing vendors to picking up and setting up the cake! Even when the 95 degree heat melted off my eyelash, she came to the rescue. Erin and her team were worth every penny! Thank you for making our day everything we dreamed of! -

Worth every penny!
Wow! So much confidence in this young woman and her ability to get things done. From our first phone call to now, 6 weeks after the wedding, she has been helpful and informative. She went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care pre wedding - post wedding. As MOB, handing off the details and day of coordination to Erin was better than I could have anticipated. Day of she was everywhere at once and things flowed beautifully, giving me time to enjoy the wedding and our guests. My only regret is that we didn’t hire her sooner - before we made any decisions. Highly recommend Erin and her team! -

Best investment!
We initially hired Erin Padgett Events for month of and day of coordination and were immediately connected with Candace as a point person until it was closer to my date for the official assignment of a planner. 50 days out from our wedding date, everything was planned for the most part at the original venue when we got the call that our first choice venue was shutting down. Within minutes, Candace was on the phone with me 'what can I do to help?' We immediately called every venue known to man with our date available and within 2 weeks we had a new venue and hired Candace for full on planning to help as I didn't have time to complete it all myself with working, parenting and so little time! The meetings were organized and detailed and I really felt a sense of ease with Candace because I am very indecisive and I couldn't let go of the vision I had at the first venue, Candace made sure I still had pieces of it at the new venue. Hands down a great investment to ease stress and would highly recommend Erin Padgett Events for any planning needs! -

Erin did a phenomenal job on our wedding. She managed to create the wedding I never knew I ever wanted - she’s that amazing! If you’re looking for a wedding planner then look no further...you won’t regret it - I promise. She is positive and fun, well connected, listens to your wants/needs/concerns/etc., has an awesome team working with her and does anything she can to accommodate you. To top it all off she also owns her own Bridal Boutique, Paige and Elliott. If you’re looking for a dress you must visit. Paige and Elliott has a huge selection of dresses in many different styles and if you’re lucky you’ll find your perfect dress there. I know I did and it was the best experience.

They helped us plan a fab wedding in just four months, helping us pull together a venue and all the vendors (and ourselves!) and wrapping it up in a beautiful bow for a perfect day. Erin is wonderful! I had so many days just laughing along with her in her office, and love her, her dog and Candace. They are really wonderful. The only issue I had is that they were really busy opening their bridal boutique while we were in the final stages of planning our wedding. While everything worked out, it made communication a bit stressful. Overall, they were wonderful, and I would hire them again. -
