We truly cannot say enough incredible things about the Equinox Resort and the entire experience they created for our wedding weekend. From start to finish, it was nothing short of spectacular.

We hosted multiple events across several days, and every single one flowed seamlessly. The staff was beyond friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Our guests are still raving about the service, the food, and the overall atmosphere. The ambiance of the property is simply magical. Every corner of the resort felt like a postcard and gave us the most stunning photo opportunities we could have dreamed of.

A very special and heartfelt thank you to our venue coordinator, Ella (and Diane), who went so far above and beyond for us. Ella sat on countless Zoom calls walking through timelines, layouts, weather plans, and every tiny detail imaginable. She brought such positive, fun energy to the entire process and truly felt like part of our team, it felt like I was planning everything with my best friend. Her shared love of Vermont, skiing, and weddings made planning feel personal and joyful rather than transactional, truly!

One of the most meaningful touches was how thoughtfully she helped incorporate our dog, Ace, into the weekend. She made sure he was taken care of so he could be part of it all, and that meant more to us than we can ever put into words. It is those small, intentional details that made the entire weekend feel so special and so “us.”

Beyond the resort itself, the town of Manchester completely charmed our guests. From cozy restaurants to scenic views, everyone commented on how much there was to explore and how magical the setting felt.

The entire weekend truly went off without a hitch. It was, without question, the best weekend of our lives. Looking back, we are absolutely certain we could not have had our wedding anywhere else. The Equinox was the perfect place to celebrate, and we are forever grateful!

We got married at the Pond Pavilion at the Equinox last September, and we are still dreaming about that day. The whole experience from planning with Ella, seeing the venue a year in advanced, being surrounded by the green mountains the whole time, was perfect. Growing up in southern Vermont, the Equinox is known as a quintessential Vermont location, and getting married there was always my dream.

We hosted our daughter’s wedding at The Equinox this past weekend, and everything was truly perfect. From start to finish, the entire team exceeded every expectation—especially our wedding coordinator, Ella, who was absolutely amazing. She managed every detail with professionalism and care, responding promptly to every single email and phone call. She connected us with wonderful local vendors, offered thoughtful recommendations for food and bar services, and guided us through each step of the planning process.

On the day of the wedding, Ella and her staff were exceptional. Every small detail—from timing to décor to transitions—was flawlessly handled. Their presence throughout the day ensured everything moved smoothly, allowing us to simply enjoy the celebration without stress.

Our family spent the weekend at the resort, which made the experience even more special. The rooms were beautiful, the staff was warm and responsive, and the thoughtful touches—like complimentary wine throughout the day, and hot cider and apple cider donuts just minutes before the ceremony—made the weekend unforgettable.

I wholeheartedly recommend The Equinox for a wedding or special event. It was an extraordinary experience for our family, and we are so grateful for the care and hospitality we received.

Ella and her team at The Equinox are truly the best and made our wedding weekend a dream come true! From the very first time we toured the venue, we knew it was the right place for us to get married. Working with Ella to plan our wedding for October 2025 was so much fun! She has so many great ideas and is super personable - making the whole process so enjoyable. Working with Beth at the equinox was amazing! She and her team approach their job with such care and attentiveness that it allows you to relax knowing you're in good hands. Our day/weekend was better and more beautiful than we ever imagined and we were able to completely unplug. Getting married at the Equinox was an absolute dream come true, and our wedding weekend could not have gone nearly as well without the constant support of Beth and the Equinox team! Beth went absolutely above and beyond from the day we met her, and did everything with a smile on her face. Working with her felt so comfortable and like working with a friend. She answered all of our questions, and was so on top of everything that we knew we had nothing to stress over. When we had to pivot our ceremony and cocktail hour site due to weather, she made sure we had every possible option, solution, and support available to ensure we still had the wedding of our dreams. The weekend could not have happened as easily or as perfectly as it did without Beth and the rest of the Equinox team. She kept us laughing and calm from day one through the end and we cannot thank her enough. Truly the greatest wedding we could have ever imagined!!!!

Ella was absolutely fabulous and an asset to both our year and a half wedding planning process and the wedding day itself. We planned the entire wedding from Texas so it was reassuring to know things would run smoothly even if we were not able to be there in person for the majority of our planning process. Ella did not skip a beat. She answered every email promptly and I loved how organized she was. She is kind, hardworking and helped our visions come to fruition. We can't think her and the Equinox team enough!! We had the most magical week and it felt like a fairytale.

We got married at the Equinox Resort’s Pond Pavilion on 6/7. We are still in shock that we had our wedding at such a beautiful location! We found this venue on a weekend trip to Manchester (a location we visit frequently) after choosing a random hiking trail to go on with family. The hiking tail crossed paths with the pond, and as soon as we saw it we felt like we were in a movie scene!! A few years later when we were able to secure the venue for our wedding, we could not contain our excitement!

We worked with Ella throughout the planning process and day of, and she & her team helped us to coordinate every detail you can think of! She made sure all of our external vendors were taken care of, many of which were family/friends and new to working with the Equinox.

Ella and her staff made the day run so smoothly!! It felt like she did literally everything for us on the wedding day! Last minute collection of decor for the venue, making sure we drank enough water and ate food, organizing shuttle pickups for our guests, adjusting my dress and veil when needed, making sure the reception details were set, so many more things that we didn’t even notice! We also had rain in the morning of our wedding day, but she quickly changed everything over once the rains stopped so that we have our ceremony outside! She also gave us a small parting gift and note the next day.

We are so grateful for her help and expertise. She’s so talented at what she does!!

The bartenders, chef, servers, shuttle drivers, all other support staff were amazing! The food was so delicious, our guests are still talking about it. The drinks were top notch!

I would highly recommend having your wedding at the Equinox. It was magical. We want to relive the day over and over again!!

When we set out to plan a wedding, we knew we wanted a snowy winter wedding with an outdoor ceremony. There are not many venues with solid options for an outdoor ceremony in February. We really wanted a patio or deck that would be completely cleared of snow. When we toured The Equinox and saw the Rockwell Patio with the expansive mountain views, we were sold. Our goal was to be surrounded by snow, but not standing in the snow, and the shovel-able patio was the perfect setting. We were immediately impressed after meeting Ella since we understood that we were not just choosing our wedding venue, but we were choosing someone we would be collaborating with and trusting for the year we spent planning our wedding. Ella is outgoing, positive, and seriously knows her stuff when it comes to weddings. When we didn’t have a chance at our tasting to stop by the gift shop for Equinox postcards, she purchased them for us and mailed them so we’d have enough time to write them out for our guests’ welcome bags. She listened to and accommodated our specific and at times unique ideas. When seeing her interact with staff at The Equinox, it is clear she is well respected by all which says a lot about the type of person and colleague she is. The icing on the cake was how responsive she was throughout the whole year we worked with her.

The other thing that stood out to us about having our wedding at The Equinox was the food! When we did our tasting we were so impressed but had a thought floating around in the back of our heads “Food can’t be this incredible when they go to make it in large quantities”... but it was! Every single one of our guests complimented how delicious the food was.

The only thing we figure we should mention, which has nothing to do with the wedding festivities, is several of our guests' rooms were not ready at check in time, making it a time crunch for them to get ready for our welcome dinner which was off site. Also, the front desk was seemingly understaffed for the check in time on the day a wedding room block started.

Otherwise, we absolutely loved our wedding at The Equinox!!

Cannot thank Diane and team enough for all the help during the build up and weekend of our wedding. We got married June 8th, 2024 and it was perfect! Diane and Ella were so fantastic at answering any questions we asked and were extremely present and responsive the entire weekend of the wedding. We had some threat of rain and they all were flexible with options and allowing us to wait until day of to make a call which allowed us to have our dream wedding. We also had a dog involved in the wedding and they couldn't have been more flexible and easy going helping deal with him. Jackie and Jill also were so great helping with room blocks and ensuring everyone had a place to stay weekend of the wedding! The equinox made my wedding dreams come true and I couldn't be more grateful. Thank you to all the people who worked with us we forever are grateful!

We had our wedding at The Pond Pavilion at The Equinox on Sep 13th 2024. It was beyond a doubt the best weekend of our lives thanks to the many amazing people at The Equinox that supported us. First and foremost, Ella, the event coordinator. From the day we booked through the day after our event, she was by our side answering questions and going far above and beyond to ensure our wedding was memorable. All of the staff at The Equinox, from the shuttle drivers to the bartenders and servers to the many behind the scenes, everyone was incredibly helpful and kind. They are a well-oiled machine that has a great process in place but at the same time made sure you felt like you were the only wedding they will ever host. The service, the views, the food.. everything was spectacular!

We could not recommend hosting your event at The Pond Pavilion enough- it was absolutely incredible and the perfect fall weather we experienced made it even better. If you are planning on hosting a smaller event (75 or under) and appreciate nature, the pond and the mountains, do not hesitate to host your event here!

Ella was such a thoughtful and diligent planner – she went out of her way to ensure we had the best day. It was so comforting to have her guide us through all the details from the moment we connected to the very end of our farewell brunch. The Equinox was a gorgeous venue, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. We couldn't have asked for a better weekend!

Ella made all of my wedding dreams come true! I never thought I would be able to secure a date at the Equinox Pond. I found it on a hike one day with my dog and thought it was an absolute dream - one of the most beautiful places in the world. I reached out to the Equinox after my original wedding plans hadn't worked out, but never followed up because I thought I would never be able to get a date at my dream venue, the Pond. After a month, Ella followed up saying there were still openings for 2024 - an absolute dream! If she hadn't reached out it never would have happened. I also never expected this dream venue to be within my budget, but the Equinox was priced very similarly to other venues and was just as expensive as getting married in my parents backyard.

Ella continued to make our wedding dreams come true throughout the planning process, from helping us create an entirely gluten free menu with the chefs to sourcing particular Patron tequila to facilitating shuttles that picked up my guests from all over town. Not only that, she was an absolute joy to work with and brought order to the craziness of wedding planning with her color-coded emails. This wedding would not have happened without her and I couldn't have made it through wedding planning season without her!

The wedding was a dream - the pond is stunning, my guests said that the food was the best wedding food they've ever had (!!), and everyone was so kind and welcoming throughout.

We had our wedding in May of 2025, the first wedding at the Meadow Tent of the season! From the beginning, the staff at the Equinox was great to work with. Jill, Jackie were great accommodating all the overnight guests rooms we need and Ella was super attentive in the planning details of our big day. We lucked out and had the best weather and weekend ever. Can't thank the whole Equinox staff for such a warm and welcoming experience from start to finish. We can't wait to come back to visit!

We got married at the Equinox this past weekend and it surpassed our wildest expectations. We worked with Ella who helped us from the very beginning - touring the various venues, coordinating our tasting, and of course providing so much support on the weekend of! We had our rehearsal dinner at the Pond Pavillion and ceremony on 1811 lawn, followed by reception in the tent. Our guests loved the beautiful spaces and exploring all over Manchester. 12/10 weekend!

From start to finish, we could not have been happier with our wedding at the Equinox! The entire resort staff was nothing less than accommodating, making us feel at home each time we came to visit and throughout the wedding weekend. We had such an amazing experience working with the Equinox. This venue truly offers it all! we did 3 events there! Rehearsal, Wedding, and Farewell Brunch. Each event was hosted on a different location on site with a different menu, and our guests loved the convenience of being able to stay on site throughout the weekend and explore the local food, hiking trails, and shopping! This was such a stress free planning process with the help of the Equinox planner Ella, and she was such a life-saver throughout our events. Can't recommend this place enough for your wedding, big or small! We did only 25 people, an intimate family wedding, and it was truly so special.

We hosted a rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks at The Equinox, and also had a room block. Everything was just beautiful! Working with Ella Salcido, Jill Vallo and Jacqueline Spamer was a joy. Ella was our main point person, and she could not have been more accommodating - she clearly loves her work, and her warmth and positive energy infused the entire experience. We highly recommend the Equinox Hotel and Resort!

We had our rehearsal dinner at the Equinox Pond Pavilion and it was a dream come true! I grew up hiking around Equinox pond and had always dreamed of having a wedding event up at the pond since I was a little girl. Ella and Allison made that dream come true! They were so easy to work with, incredibly responsive, and just all around so helpful. Ella communicated with my fiance to plan the rehearsal dinner and was so organized and on top of it. I didn't have to worry about any of the details! The day went so smoothly, even with rain! We will remember it forever and always cherish those memories every time we hike up at Equinox pond in the future. We also had our post wedding brunch at Equinox Resort in the Colonnade Ballroom and it was incredible! The ballroom is beautiful and the food was amazing. Our guests are still raving about the waffles and the bacon! HIGHLY recommend this team for everything wedding related! Thank you Equinox, Ella and Allison for helping us execute our dream wedding!

Equinox pond is an amazing place for a wedding. The scenery is exceptional and the view of Mt Equionx and it’s reflection on the pond is breathtaking. The pond house itself has a rustic and intimate feeling with enough space to seat many guests. There’s a fireplace for chilly weather as well.

The staff at the equinox was professional and wonderful to work with. Ella Salcido ( wedding coordinator ) and Allison McMaster ( weddings and corporate events) were exceptionally great, going above and beyond!

Lastly, the food was delicious, thanks to Chef Joseph Stewart.

You can't beat the location if you're looking for a rustic setting in a historic boat house on the edge of a pond. Ella as a wedding planner at the Equinox took care of every need we had and provided valuable suggestions when needed. The chef prepared excellent meals and appetizers and was equally easy and accommodating to work with.

We got the garden wedding package and Ella our coordinator of events was aaaamazing, she helped us in every detail!!! I was the calmest bride on my wedding day, they were in charge of everything, even helping me with the decoration!!! The view of the garden is beaaaaautiful!!! The vendors that they recommended were greaaaat, very kind, very professionals! The food, the service all amazing! Our family stayed in Equinox and they said was amazing and the most beautiful wedding that they have been!

We chose to get married at the Pond Pavilion at the Equinox. We knew the moment we first saw the venue that it would be the place we would get married. The Pond Pavilion itself is a really cute space with a lovely fireplace on the pond, but its really the outdoor space where you have the ceremony that won us over. The pond itself, sitting at the foot of Mount Equinox, reflects the foliage and the leaves wonderfully. It was an amazing place to get married. From there, everything only got better, believe it or not. Most everything was taken care of for us - the setup, the catering, everything was included. And the food was absolutely incredible! The staff there were also excellent - everyone was incredibly kind and helpful. The venue coordinator Ella in particular was really helpful, and really helped make our day great. All in all it was an absolutely perfect choice. 10/10 would reccomend!

We initially chose the Equinox as our venue because we loved the scenery and we loved that our guests could stay in the same place as the reception. We didn't realize at the time how amazing the staff would be throughout the entire process – Ella and her colleagues were extremely friendly and consistently reliable with their communication. They answered all our questions quickly and patiently, and were willing to work with all our specific requests. We really enjoyed working with Ella and the Equinox staff and could not speak highly enough about the experience.

I have been dreaming of having my wedding at the Equinox for the past fifteen years, so this weekend was a long time in the making. Not only did it meet my expectations, it far exceeded them. I cannot say enough good things about working with the Benchmark team, the on-site team, Jill Vallo in accommodations, and Ella Salcido in event planning (the greatest collaborator on the planet!!). Everyone I encountered was kind, responsive, helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient. Most notably, everyone went the extra mile when they had the chance to do so - something that is rare in hospitality today! The setting was perfect, the food was delicious (start to finish!!), the ambiance was welcoming, and all 175 of my guests had the time of their lives. Here's to hoping there is an Equinox vow renewal sometime in the (distant) future...

We loved having our wedding at the Equinox. The setting was beautiful and we were able to do all events on the property (rehearsal dinner at the Dormy Grill, ceremony on the Lincoln Lawn, reception in the Collonade ballroom). We even rented out the 1812 house for our wedding party and were able to gather there after the rehearsal dinner and reception.

Equinox staff was also fantastic. Our original contact left a few months before the wedding and we were connected to Ella and Amanda. They picked up where the previous person left off seamlessly, and Ella was a joy to have around on our wedding day. Thank you!!

The Equinox pond was an amazing localization for an intimate wedding. The service staff was so accommodating and made us and our guests feel like we were royalty! Such professionals! We enjoyed the shuttle service and the drivers attention to our guests needs and comfort. The wedding vendor list provided by the Equinox worked out perfect.

We had the best experience working with the Equinox and planning our wedding weekend at the resort. The whole team was very responsive, flexible and so helpful. The whole weekend went so smoothly and they really worked with us to make our vision come together and they nailed it. Highly recommend planning your wedding here. All of the venues are gorgeous and our guests who all traveled to celebrate with us said it was the perfect weekend away and loved all that the resort had to offer.

I recently got married at the Equinox and it was an absolutely perfect day! The team at the Equinox was fantastic. They were extremely organized, responsive, accommodating, and overall great to work with. There was no stone left unturned and the day turned out absolutely perfect. The food and drinks were delicious, the drinks were plentiful, and the ballroom looked beautiful. I would highly recommend the Equinox to anyone who is looking for a place for their wedding and am so grateful to the team for helping to make our dreams a reality.

The equinox has always been a memorable place but having my wedding there was one of a kind. From the scenery to the warm home like feel to the WONDERFUL wedding coordinator Michelle I couldn’t have been happier.

We got married at the Meadow House in the fall of 2019.  The Equinox is such a beautiful, well-manicured location.  They keep the property clean and the landscape full of flowers. The wedding coordinator Rachel and meeting manager Jill were so wonderful!  Extremely responsive, so helpful, and incredibly nice.  We could not have asked for nicer, more organized people to help plan/execute our wedding.  We are lucky to have had them working on our special weekend.  We would HIGHLY recommend them.  The location, food, and alcohol were also great.  We were very happy with the outcome.

The only negative was the check-in process at the front desk.  There were 2 weddings that weekend and the hotel was not well prepared.  There was constantly a line at the front desk and rooms were not ready when guests checked-in.  We voiced our concerns when we were there so hopefully it won't happen moving forward. 

We had such a wonderful experience getting married at the Equinox! Leo our point person was amazing, the Collonnade ballroom was gorgeous and the surrounding area is just amazing.

The Equinox shines in the high-season in Vermont, but for our winter/christmas wedding they glistened! About 4 months before our wedding the wedding manager left the Equinox, which left us a little shaken, that it until we met Rachel. She connected with us right away to continue the planning process and keep our momentum going. She was upfront about what she knew and what she needed to find out, and was always responsive and friendly. In addition to Rachel, I want to give a shout out to Jillian for helping with our room blocks. She was on top of things that we didn't even know existed when managing room blocks! In addition to Rachel & Jill, the entire Equinox staff helped make our wedding weekend go off without a hitch. Every step of the way we were met with a smile and making sure we were taken care of. The staff went above and beyond from champagne in our room, to chef whipping up garlic aioli for a guest, polite turn-down service, extra water in our bridal suite, and superb bellmen. We knew that we were in good hands having our wedding at the Equinox, but they all exceeded our expectations once again. We are sure to be back for many years to come.

The Pond Pavilion at Equinox took my breath away - it was the venue of my dreams. It speaks for itself and we were lucky to have great weather for our wedding day in October. This review is for Ruth, their onsite event planner. When our first wedding coordinator at the Equinox left about two months before our wedding, Ruth jumped in and didn’t miss a beat – she got up-to-speed so quickly that we didn’t have time to worry. She was very calming and made us feel much better about the whole process and our plans for the day. Everything on our wedding day was perfect and we know we have her to thank. We can not recommend the Pond Pavilion and Ruth at Equinox enough!

My husband and I got married at the Equinox on October 24th, 2015. We had our ceremony on the 1811 Lawn and the reception in the Colonnade Ballroom. The Equinox did an amazing job executing the event from start to finish. I worked with
Charlotte Callahan who is their Wedding and Events Manager. Charlotte made my wedding the most stress-free and flawless event I could ever ask for. From my first meeting with Charlotte to the very last moment of my wedding, she was right by my side and there to take care of anything I needed. She was professional and personable and all around very easy to work with! Any bride would be lucky to work with Charlotte as a wedding planner. Charlotte helped out with selecting local vendors to rehearsal dinner recommendations and everything else in between. We did not need to hire an extra wedding planner, because really it was an unnecessary service while working with Charlotte.
The Equinox was a perfect wedding campus for our wedding. Our guests stayed at the Main Inn and the groomsmen took over the 1811 house - which worked out perfectly! I stayed in the Orvis Suite which could not have worked out better. The staff was excellent and our guests raved about the food and service

We cannot say enough amazing things about the total experience we had at the Equinox nor do we grow tired of the constant compliments we still hear from our guests. Our wedding took advantage of all the resort has to offer: we rented out the 1811 House, hosted a welcome party at the pond pavilion, and had our reception in the Colonnade Ballroom. All of this required quite a bit of planning and my wife only sang the highest of praises about Charlotte and all the work she did to coordinate our many wedding events. Her attention to detail, prompt responses, flexibility, thoughtfulness to vendors and guests, creativity of ideas (honestly, we could go on and on and on!) let us know we were in the most competent and trusted hands. The beauty of the resort is something to be seen, nestled at the foot of Mount Equinox in the picturesque town of Manchester. The rolling hills of Vermont provided an unprecedented backdrop to our outdoor ceremony that left guests in awe. As someone with a culinary background and just a guy who likes to eat, having a wedding where the guests enjoyed the food was a priority. The Equinox delivered above and beyond anything we could have expected! Over the two-day event our guests sampled over 12 passed hors d'oeuvres, countless desserts, various entrees, and a farewell brunch. The welcome party had a buffet and the wedding reception was a plated event. Our wedding really exposed us to all the exceptional talents of the Equinox chef and kitchen. Many guests told us that the food at our wedding was the best they had experienced at any wedding. One other thing we want to highlight is the exceptional staff. They absolutely went above and beyond to accommodate our guests and make them as comfortable as possible. When a guest complained about the reception room being too hot a staff member brought him cold towels to keep him cool. The Equinox Resort is absolutely beautiful. We had a fairy tale, out of the world wedding and we have had countless guests tell us they have never been to a more beautiful, fun wedding. The resort itself has a great spa and amazing deck with a huge fire pit. It is an awesome spot to hang out with friends after your reception or during your wedding weekend. We had our wedding at the pond pavilion- WOW, it is the most gorgeous spot in the world- Right at the base of the Equinox mountain, with a clean pond, and a rustic pavilion that sits literally in the water. It is like you are in a whole new wonderful world when you are at the pond. There were no bugs either, which was a big concern of some of my friends. The food was amazing and the staff was very flexible. We ended up changing the time of our dessert buffet and moving the DJ outside so we could dance the night away under the stars on the stone patio. The suite we stayed in was the most beautiful suite we have ever stayed in or laid eyes on. It was huge- 2 bathrooms, 2 floors, clean, but still had some old, vintage charm (not to mention 24 hour room service- get that turkey sandwich late night and in the morning, order breakfast because it was to die for). Although I encountered some bumps in the road when planning my wedding at the equinox- with our room block, some catering issues, and a small transportation issue, the staff at the Equinox did everything they could to make any mistake or inconvenience up to me. They ensured I was a happy bride and went above and beyond to make up for anything that i was even a little unhappy about. They did not stop at just resolving the issue. I still am in disbelief that our wedding was truly perfect. Nothing is perfect, right? Wrong!! Our wedding was truly magical and absolutely out of this world. My bridesmaids keep saying they feel bad for anyone who has to get married after us...well, UNLESS they do it at the Equinox too.

We did not use this vendor for the venue, but they catered our reception dinner at the Southern Vermont Arts Center. It was done beautifully and met our every wish.

Our wedding day was absolutely perfect in large part because of Lauren and the whole Equinox team. We got married at the pond which was spectacular and we had a stress free weekend because of all the hard work of Lauren and her team did for us. We can't say enough good things about the hotel or the staff and I promise you will be so happy with your decision if you choose The Equinox.

The Equinox Hotel was AMAZING! I had the wedding of my dreams. It was so wonderful to have a coordinator who helped everything run smoothly and have in-house everything. I was able to get a great deal by having my wedding in the winter on a non-holiday Friday.
Everyone at the hotel knew about the wedding and congratulated us around every corner. I really CAN NOT say enough about how fabulous this was... I am so sad it is over.

We had our Wedding at the Pond. Ruth and Lauren were our coordinators and were amazing. Throughout the process their response to questions was almost immediate. As a bride it was assuring to know you could fully trust and rely on your planners. Would recommend the Pond it was breathtaking !!

Jessica Smith was an absolute pleasure to work with. The Equinox provided the elegance we were searching for. The costs is excessive, but worth every penny.

I can say that, without a doubt, The Equinox is the perfect venue for couples looking for a romantic and scenic venue matched with impeccable service and luxurious amenities. The resort and town of Manchester Village provide a beautiful backdrop for a destination wedding weekend within a few hours' drive from New York and Boston.

Our entire planning experience with the Sales, Catering, Culinary, Golf and Spa teams was absolutely flawless - they helped us put together a weekend full of fabulous activities, UNIQUE and restaurant-quality dining, and above all, impeccable service for our guests.

We have received SO much positive feedback from our guests - even so far as WE have received thank you notes from THEM in the mail these past couple of weeks!

I can't say enough about The Equinox team and cannot thank them enough for making our wedding unforgettable.

The team at the Equinox was wonderful to work with. They were flexible with their menus and were professional from beginning to end. Most importantly, they were happy to partner with my wedding planner to make everything perfect.

The Equinox helped us pull off our ultimate winter wedding dream in December. We asked them to collaborate with a local off-site ceremony venue in a blizzard with the reception and all of our guests at Equinox. It took a ton of planning but they stuck with us. In the middle of our wedding our planner resigned and we had a new planner, Rachel join the team. Rachel and Ruth worked with us to make everything go swimmingly and they went out of their way to make sure we were happy. Everyone at the resort puts so much effort and love into what they do, even if they are doing weddings every single weekend they make each couple feel truly special. Jill Vallo, who handled our room booking did everything she could to make sure our guests were accommodated and the Spa also went out of their way for us. We will never forget how lovely our wedding was and all the people who worked so hard to make it all happen. Equinox will be in our heart forever.

Only watchout for future brides:
1) I highly recommend having another day of coordinator, the team will be too busy setting up your wedding to help coordinate you prior to your wedding actually starting. I wish I knew this in advance. It would have been totally worth it in my opinion. I missed the first look with my father (who is now ill) and many photos because we didn't have someone keeping us on schedule (also because my makeup artist ran behind).

2) The resort surprised us with construction outside of the ballroom less than a week before our wedding. This was a huge deal to me. One of the female "VP's" met with me to try to downplay my feelings about an awful temporary wall they put up. Our wedding planners Ruth and Rachel did exactly what they could to conceal and make the temporary wall less obvious and did every single thing I requested. Ultimately, they made it better but I wish Equinox had warned me or given us a discount since we weren't aware of this when we signed our contract.

My now husband and I took a trip to check out wedding venues a few years back. We were looking for a rustic venue with a picturesque nature and water around it. This was the first place we visited. Although the Inn looks beautiful, it didn’t match our expectations at first glance. However, upon meeting staff and being shuttled to the pavilion (which could not be directly seen from the Inn), we found the perfect hidden gem. It has an outstanding view of water and mountains as well as the a rustic cabin feel. It feels like you are away but you are still close enough to the beautiful town of Manchester and all that it has to offer. We ended up visiting several other venues on this trip and subsequent trips but ultimately came back to this perfect spot at The Equinox. While others hit one or two of our checkboxes this one checked them all!

The event staff was a pleasure to work with. We initially started off with one event coordinator who ended up leaving during our planning process. While this can be stressful, the transition to our new coordinator Charlotte was very smooth and we were lucky have planned with her! Since we are not locals they were able to accommodate us with our travel plans. The food tasting was phenomenal and we had a hard time cutting down our choices. We decided to go with a buffet style. We also skipped having a cake and decided to go with desserts. They worked with us to create several fall style desserts which were very tasty, including their own homemade cider donuts.

Our wedding day was organized very well and went smoothly. Ruth was the coordinator of the day and did an amazing job keeping with the timeline. Whenever dealing with a member of staff it was a pleasurable experience. If a problem arose whether it be monetary or a type service, it was handled well and reasonably. We had a great experience having our wedding at The Equinox pavilion (they have a ballroom as well) and would recommend it to anyone!

The Equinox team was extremely helpful and responsive during all of our planning. Whenever we visited for preparations throughout the year of planning they made sure to make us feel special. All of our guests had a lovely time and could not stop raving about the food at the reception. We would highly recommend this spot if you are looking for a picturesque venue.

My husband and I chose to elope with our families and host a small, intimate dinner reception at The Equinox in Manchester, Vermont — and it was truly the best decision we could have made. From the moment we began planning, the team made everything feel effortless, and I have to give a special thank you to Ella, who brought my vision to life with such care and attention to detail.

We had a cocktail hour with music followed by dinner, and the whole evening was simply magical. The setting was elegant yet cozy, and everything flowed so seamlessly that I was able to be fully present and enjoy every moment — I truly had zero stress, which, for a wedding, is saying a lot!

The staff was warm and attentive, and every single one of our guests commented on how beautiful and joyful the evening was. It was intimate, personal, and everything we hoped for.

I can honestly say it was the best day of my life, and The Equinox played a huge role in making it so special. I would highly recommend it to any couple looking for a stunning Vermont venue with outstanding service and heartfelt hospitality.

I’m not sure what I will do without talking to Ella every week from now on. She was an absolute joy to work with. We had so many laughs and a few times because of my crazy life, she put up with my tears. She put up with me asking the same questions over and over and over. The woman is absolutely amazing.

The food was exquisite. The service, the same. All of my guests were extremely impressed from beginning to end. But I will tell you this, the equinox is very very lucky to have Ella and Jill on their staff.

Parents, the only thing is, you’re not getting out of this one cheaply 😂

We held our wedding and reception at the Equinox Pond Pavilion. Ella, Allison and the rest of the Equinox team did an amazing job and I cannot thank them enough for all of their hard work. The Chef and his team were also incredible, they were very willing to work with us on the menu and welcomed and encouraged feedback during the tasting. Our guests absolutely loved the food!

We looked all over Vermont and NH, and soon as we walked in and met with Rachel - we knew this was the place. Every staff member was kind and courteous - always reaching out to make sure everything we were planning was coming along and if we needed anything to help. The day of our wedding, was no different, with vendors and family members pulling you in every direction. The Equinox staff seamlessly kept our day going without any disruptions. The rooms, location, and views around this small town are beautiful. I must say the only downside is that they can double book weddings on the same day as they have 3 locations available; however, only 1 coordinator. I give Rachel all the credit for keeping it together will all the multiple fall weddings.

The Equinox Resort & Spa was the perfect venue for my New England fall-themed wedding. The Pond Pavilion provides a gorgeous outdoor venue for a ceremony and the resort provided enough flexibility to where I was able to do part of my cocktail hour at the Pond and then move the other half to the Lincoln Gardens since I was having the reception and dinner in the Colonnade Ballroom (which was also gorgeous). The Pond is about a 5 minute drive from the main resort and they do provide transportation to and from for you guests.

The food and the cake were delicious. Presentation was amazing. Shelly, the pastry chef, did an amazing job with my fall themed wedding cake vision.

The entire staff was extremely professional, helpful, and on the ball the night of the wedding.

Throughout the planning process Ruth Whitelaw the Equinox event coordinator was there for me every step of the way. Whether it be trading emails back and forth or touching base on the phone she was always prompt with replies.

The only downfall to a fall wedding in this small town is that you need to book everything very early especially if you are planning around the peak foliage weekend. The Equinox room rates can be fairly pricey especially over the weekend in the main hotel and they have a 2 night minimum stay requirement in the fall. If you are on a budget and you don't mind having your wedding on any day of the week besides Friday and Saturday the venue is nearly half the price.

Overall I had a fabulous experience working with the Equinox. It provided the perfect venue for my dream wedding!

From the first moment we walked into the Equinox, we felt the warmth and hospitality uniquely provided by this great venue. It was an easy decision to select the hotel as the location for our wedding and reception. On top of the beautiful vistas and high-end accommodation was Charlotte Callahan (Wedding Events Manager and Day-of Coordinator). Charlotte was extraordinary throughout the process and helped make our wedding day perfect. Leading up to the wedding, Charlotte and the Equinox hotel worked closely with us to make sure everything was ready and how we wanted it. On our wedding weekend, the hotel did an outstanding job making everyone feel at home and delivered seamless service to ensure we didn’t have to worry about a thing. The hotel’s ability to adapt was on full display on the wedding day. Weather forced the ceremony inside, but that did nothing to take away from the beauty of the event. They did an outstanding job transforming the main colonnade into a gorgeous setting for our wedding. All in all, we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. The Equinox has a very special place in our heart and we look forward to returning their annually for years to come.

Venue was beautiful and overall well-suited for a wedding. Service was fantastic on all fronts throughout the wedding weekend. Our guests enjoyed the wedding and their stay at the Equinox thoroughly. We plan on vacationing here again in the future.

My husband & I live in the NYC area, but we decided on VT for a “destination” wedding. We researched other venues (MountainTop Inn, Hildene, Reluctant Panther, etc) and finally found the Equinox Resort in Manchester. We wanted outdoorsy feel, something with a lake and mountains, and the Pond Pavilion was perfect! We really liked that it didn't feel too rustic or campy, since some other outdoor settings reminded us more of an Adirondack lodge. I was also surprised by how reasonable the pricing was given the stunning setting; I wouldn't say it was inexpensive but I feel the cost was worth the high quality of the food, service, and venue. We started our wedding planning with Jessica, who was fantastic but then left the resort to move to Colorado so we continued our planning with Ruth. We were a bit nervous but soon learned we were in great hands; Ruth has been a part of the Equinox team for years, had so much great advice to offer, and really made our wedding planning easy and stress free. She was very flexible on our menu and allowed us to combine different food choices from separate menus to create our dinner buffet. Every time I would get nervous or worry about something Ruth would provide a great solution and everything went flawlessly the day of the event! The entire resort staff was very friendly, always said hello, remembered our names and that it was our wedding weekend. I was very impressed with the service and positive attitude from the staff. Our wedding servers were great, and it was awesome having 2 bartenders. I've been to weddings twice our size where there is only one bar and you spend a lot of time waiting for drinks. Overall we had an amazing experience at the Equinox resort and I am so happy we chose it as our wedding venue. We're still getting compliments from family and friends more than a year after the wedding, and some have said it's the best wedding they've ever attended – all thanks to Ruth and the Equinox team!

The Equnox Pond was the perfect venue for our 65 person fall wedding!!

Our event coordinator, Ella, went above and beyond to make our day flawless and perfect. She saw my vision and set up all of our decor the day of wedding and made sure that I had nothing to stress about. She coordinated with all of our other vendors and ensured that they had what they needed. She was extremely responsive and patient when I got stressed or anxious.

We had our wedding at the Equinox in September of 2022 and it was perfect. I could not think of a more beautiful wedding venue. We got married on the 1811 Lawn and had our reception in the Meadow Tent. The weather was amazing, and we got glowing reviews from our guests.

The team at the Equinox made us feel so supported throughout the entire wedding planning process. They were accommodating and responsive. Ella, Amanda and team really want to help make your wedding day perfect. We used almost all of their preferred vendors, and that made the day even smoother. They have great relationships with everyone and they know the Manchester, Vermont wedding scene well.

I do recommend hiring your own day-of wedding coordinator to help with certain things. The onsite team at the Equinox is amazing, but there are so many moving parts to your wedding day that having the day-of coordinator was very helpful!

I have nothing but great things to say about the team at the Equinox. Amanda was incredibly helpful in the earlier planning stages. She answered all of my questions as they came up, and remained super flexible about specific requests. Ella went above and beyond during the actual wedding weekend. All of the last minute things that I needed help with, that were probably out of the scope of her role, she happily helped with. The whole team was kind, fun, and really enjoyable to work with. They helped to make our day absolutely perfect. Even with some crazy specific requests they remained flexible and made it all happen! Our wedding exceeded our expectations, and a large part of that was because of how accommodating and kind the team at the Equinox was. We were in great hands and felt that way throughout the whole weekend!

We had our wedding at the Pond Pavillion in on August 10th. It was fairly intimate with 24 people. Every detail was executed perfectly. We had a rehearsal buffet dinner at the Rockwell Patio, the ceremony and a Reception/ plated meal up at the pavillion. The best aspect of our weekend was that the resort is so intimate, that all our guests would see eachother and meet up at the exercise classes and lobby or the bar, and became one big happy family.
Our wedding coordinator, Rachel, was outstanding. She made everything so easly and seamless that all I had to worry about was my guests and having a nice time. The staff at the hotel took great care of us, and also got to know our guests. Richard, a gold key concierge, did a historic tour for us and that was one of the highlights for the parents. The bellman had a few last minute changes with my deliveries and made it happen! I had a few guests arrive early, and housekeeping was rushed to get them in as soon as possible. Rachel even made sure that all my vendors knew where to go and coordinated with them. If you hire local - it is easier as they all know eachother! I would highly recommend my floral vendor, Flowers by Cara, and the cake was by Centerpiece Cakes by Stephanie. Fabulous. We also had our family do a private Falconry School experience - which is great for the young and old.
The biggest compliment I received was when we were at the bar after the wedding, my guests wanted to plan a 1 year anniversary trip so we could all come back! I loved the venue, and would highly recommend The Equinox. I'll post pictures when I get them in a few weeks!

We had the most incredible experience hosting our wedding at the Equinox. From the beginning, we knew we wanted a venue where as many of our guests as possible could stay on-site, and the Equinox was absolutely perfect. Over 100 of our friends and family stayed at the hotel, and it became the hub for our entire wedding weekend—we were able to host group workout classes, hikes, golf outings, our ceremony on the 1811 Lawn, our tented reception, and even a morning-after brunch, all without ever leaving the property.

The staff was phenomenal throughout, and we especially want to recognize Jill, who went above and beyond coordinating all of the rooming for our large group. She made what could have been a logistical headache completely seamless.

On our wedding day, everything ran flawlessly. The food was delicious, and our guests are still talking about how impressive it was that, even with a tent reception far from the kitchen, every entrée arrived hot and each table was served promptly. The combination of historic charm, beautiful grounds, thoughtful service, and top-notch hospitality made our wedding unforgettable. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue.

The Equinox was the perfect place for our wedding. There are a lot of options for both the reception and the ceremony (we used the Pond Pavilion). Jessica Smith, their wedding coordinator, was always responsive and very helpful. She was able to answer all our questions. The day of the wedding I was completely comfortable leaving everything in her hands and she executed it perfectly.
I would recommend the Pond and the Equinox to anyone wanting an elegant, beautiful, stress-free wedding.

My husband and I decided to get married in my hometown of Manchester, Vermont in the Fall season. When we began our venue search, we knew we wanted both our ceremony and reception venue to give us and our guests the feeling that we were in our own little world. Ideally, if the weather played along we wanted to be married outside surrounded by the foliage with a pretty view but we knew we would need a back-up for this plan. For the reception, we wanted to avoid venues that felt like they could have easily hosted a board meeting during the day (as many hotel event rooms do). Many of our guests were not from Vermont and so we also wanted to find a reception venue where they could continue to enjoy the beautiful Vermont landscape.

With all of the above in mind we viewed the Southern Vermont Art Center, Hildene, the Arlington Inn, the West Mountain Inn and the Manchester Country Club. Initially, our first preference was Hildene. It is a beautiful location with fantastic views and I had volunteered there for a number of years. Foliage season has however become a peak wedding season in the area and we felt the venue pricing was too high for a reception in a tent which was the only option for 90 people. We therefore selected the Equinox.

While also expensive we liked the breadth of services available. In the days leading up to the wedding, I was able to use the fitness facilities to stay dress ready :-). Our guests received a discounted pricing offer (although still very high for the area due to peak season). We had discounted use of a suite the night before the wedding and so my mother, sister and I stayed at the hotel the night before and the bridal party got ready in the room. Our ceremony was held at the 1811 Lawn which has beautiful views and our guests were transported to the Equinox Pond Pavillion for cocktails by the water followed by the reception inside the pavillion which has a beautiful fireplace, ceiling and lovely wooden floors. The venue was anything but a converted meeting room. Following the reception we returned back to the hotel and enjoyed time around the outdoor fireplace at the Falcon Bar before my husband and I retreated to our complimentary wedding suite where delicious ice cider and cookies awaited us. The staff was attentive and well-trained, the food was delicious and the signature cocktails were creative and tasty. The entire atmosphere was extremely pleasant the entire day.

So why is our rating not 5.0/5.0? There were a few areas of improvement for the team and the venue.

1 - The Pond Pavillion can only accommodate a buffett service. The Equinox should either make the space renovations required or find a creative way to address this. The venue atmosphere was more important to us than being served in our seats but a dinner service would have been nicer than a buffett.
2- The first contact we had at the hotel was not their usual wedding coordinator, it was their manager. Despite being the manager, the contact was very cold and clearly focussed on every last penny and lacked the warmth of personality that the majority of the staff had. Working with her was extremely unpleasant and we had almost decided to go elsewhere when a friend who worked for the resort stepped in.
3 - Our dealings with the rest of the hotel staff were by far more pleasant but they also made a few mistakes which meant that we could not have a rehearsal at our ceremony location, our room still had a dress steamer when we returned for our wedding night, our top layer of cake was disposed of and a few of our wedding decorations were missing when we came to collect them. Not the end of the world but areas to improve.
4 - We never received a final statement. An amount they felt was outstanding was simply deducted from our credit card.
5 - The resort has not yet planned for colder weather usage of the pavillion. They could easily obtain glass panes to insert over the screened windows and heating other than standing heaters. (We knew this when we booked but would still recommend for their future use of the venue).

Overall we would strongly recommend the resort if you have a food and drinks budget of $90/head plus and a venue budget of $5K plus.

The Equinox is an absolutely beautiful venue and we are thrilled to have had our wedding here. We got married two months ago and we keep hearing what a blast everyone had, what a nice place it was, it was magic, etc... We worked with Ruth who was absolutely outstanding- we couldn't have asked for a better contact. She was really thorough and so pleasant.

Our tasting was delicious and we were so psyched about the food because my husband and I are both foodies! This was one of the most important aspects for us. After the tasting we kept telling our guests they would be blown away by the food, it was diamond rated, so delicious, etc... Well, the food was good, but not phenomenal like we had expected. The serving sizes were much smaller and the quality seemed less. I understand serving 90 is harder than 2, but we were disappointed. I would just be cautious of this-We just thought they would be able to deliver -

The Colonnade room was beautiful with our decorations - make sure you have plenty of decor because this room is huge! If you don't, it will look much like a regular nice room and remind you of eating breakfast in there. Luckily, we had lots of decorations and uplighting that really brought the room to life.

The staff was terrific - all very professional and friendly for the most part. The only complaint about the service other than food quality is the bar - we asked to have the bar tenders switched because the drinks were very weak and guests were paying top dollar.

Overall, I absolutely loved our weekend there and we don't have many complaints at all. The bridal suite was gorgeous (hard to find pictures online, but its two floors with lots of room on the first floor for hair/makeup and general lounging). You are spending a lot of money at this venue, so that is why I am being honest about the food and bar - you expect a lot for the $.

Hire a wedding planner to ensure you are getting your money's worth and that no details are missed. They can have 4+ weddings in a weekend and things get forgotten.

Even though we were the biggest wedding of the weekend we were put in a cramped room that was clearly not the main bridal suite.

We had multiple issues with our room block ahead of the wedding. At some points the staff were unresponsive and we had to get them to the right solution by working closely with them.

In addition, we hosted our rehearsal dinner at The Pond -- which is beautiful-- but so many things went wrong at the rehearsal dinner I couldn't sleep the night before my wedding because I was so worried about what would go wrong the next day-- My wedding day! Overall I was disappointed in the service given the large amount of money we were spending over the weekend and the amount of guests we had staying at the resort.

I never complain but I would just like to warn those looking at the Equinox. We originally loved the Equinox because of the beautiful location, ability to have all the wedding activities at one spot and the friendly staff. After signing the contract, the friendliness quickly faded. We had picked the Equinox to be able to have our guests Stay there. The Equinox agreed to have a certain discount for the rooms to make it more affordable for our guests but when it came time to doing the actual room block they would not honor the discount and essentially no one was able to stay there and guests had to scramble to find elsewhere to stay. Then my wedding planner decided to quit a week before the wedding. We were given another wedding planner who was great but the day before the wedding she passed us off to a different wedding planner not even associated with the equinox, who I had never met and barely saw on my wedding day. Thank goodness our other vendors were fabulous or this day would’ve been a mess thanks to the Equinox. Also, the bar in the wedding was about 3-4$ more expensive per drink than the bar inside the hotel so a lot of our guests would frequently leave during the reception to the bar to get cheaper drinks. We were told originally we would be the only wedding there but a few months before I find out from my florist that there was another wedding there that weekend (not that big of a deal but just another lie told to us). Aside from all that, the scenery is beautiful and the food was fantastic but be careful when choosing this vendor and planning your budget with them. It was pretty evident they did not care about us that much. I would never recommend them to anyone.

We had a terrible time with the Equinox Resort venue. We were able to book our wedding easily but that was the only easy step with the Equinox. Everything was a struggle from working with the planner (which they provided) to food tasting to layout of venue. We constantly communicated with our planner via email and in person and nothing was according to our plan. We were planning an outside ceremony but 3 weeks before the wedding they told us they double booked our wedding. We were moved to another location for the ceremony. Completely unacceptable they double booked and told us so late. We had to provide napkins for the reception so don't expect anything to be provided. Our planner responded when she felt like it. It was unpredictable and she never answered everything completely. Completely regret booking this venue.
