  After 20 years together, we decided to get married in D.C. We found Michael's website and even though it was a Sunday morning, he answered his phone. From that moment forward Michael made the entire process a wonderful experience by explaining the entire process, making it easy for us to make decisions, and when we met him in D.C. for our ceremony, he was just as nice as he seemed over the phone. He remembered every little detail we wanted in our ceremony and we will always remember him as part of our special day.

  It was a double wedding for Ted and Keith - Michael and Rodney. We were very pleased with Michael's service - from providing details of getting marriage certificate, details for the ceremony and how to get the marriage license.   Michael was wonderful! Our simple ceremony was the best day of our lives so far and Michael definitely helped making the whole process of obtaining Marriage Certificate so much easier. He was extremely personable, and informative. He's very eloquent and a great listener and his warm, welcoming personality creates such positive and non-stresfull aura. Yet, he is a very professional and responsible Officiant. Thank you !

  Michael was a fantastic officiant for our simple ceremony wedding. His services went beyond just the actual day. During the preparation and planning stages, he was informative and easily explained how everything worked. Not being from the DC area, Michael took the extra time to help us with any questions, concerns and even made several great suggestions. He was quick with responding to our questions, ideas and made the process smooth. The day of the ceremony Michael was on time, professional, warm and really made it special for us. This was not just a "simple ceremony". Michael made our day the best day we've ever had! We're so grateful and honored to have Michael conduct our ceremony. If you are looking for the perfect officiant for your big day, look no further, Michael is the best choice.

  Thank you for making our wedding day special. Although we were only looking for something simple and brief, it turned out even better with a last minute change to outdoors at sunset. Michael was so professional and relaxed it made it seem as if we'd planned it that way from the start. It was just perfect. We would recommend Michael without reservation.

  Micheal was perfect! We couldn't imagine a better experience than he provided for us. He invited us into his home as if we were family - which we now feel like we are! Being from a small town in Alabama and nervous about about setting up our marriage from out of town, Micheal was was a calm breath of fresh air and painlessly led us through the entire process from obtaining our license, warmly and lovingly performing our ceremony in his home, and coaching us on navigating the big city! He was incredibly responsive and personable through our entire experience.   I found Michael just a few months before our wedding and luckily he was available. He was always very responsive from the time we started chatting back and forth as well as after our wedding. He was a great pleasure to work with. Very easy, caring and kind. Both myself and my partner fell in love with him from the start. It made the whole process that much easier. Also, we were trying to obtain our Marriage License during the government shutdown so Michael actually did all of the legwork for us in obtaining the license. You will not find anyone nicer, easy to work with and just an all around nice guy. He was terrific!

  Michael provided a beautiful service for us with 48 hrs notice due to the govt shutdown.
  He was very responsive, professional and understanding. Once he committed to doing the service our worries evaporated.

  Michael was the perfect celebrant for our wedding! He guided us through the planning and was very responsive to customizing the ceremony. We held the wedding in our home surrounded by family members. We hadn't met Michael before but he fit right in with our close-knit group. My partner - now spouse! - and I highly recommend Michael.   My partner Zach and I were married on September 14th. We are extremely satisfied with Michael. He was very polite, courteous, professional and helpful. We're from out of town and he recommended places for the wedding, restaurants close to the venue, parking, etc! I recommend Michael's services anytime! :)
