There are no words to describe the magical and EPIC wedding we had this past October at the Kimpton Epic Hotel in downtown Miami. Everything at this venue is flawless, from the food to the views to the Director of Catering, Holly.

Planning a wedding requires a lot of time, energy, and sleepless nights at times. However, I can say that as soon as I selected this venue, a weight was lifted off my shoulders.

This hotel is incredibly hospitable, everything is so chic and elegant, the guests were wowed from the moment they entered the building to the moment the party finished. I have a friend who had been to three weddings this year and she said this one was the wedding of the year.

This was truly the best wedding turn out I could ever ask for. Communication was prompt every single time and they do an amazing job at making you feel as if you are the only couple getting married that year. We had such a perfect personalized customer experience.

Also, if the budget is an important factor for you big day, you can relax. Prices and packages are reasonable and affordable, and worth every single penny.

The Epic Hotel is the best hotel in Miami that houses every single need you may possibly need. My husband and I hosted a 200 hundred person wedding and the hotel was able to accommodate everyone with a great room block and beautiful reception space and wrap around balcony. The suites were absolutely gorgeous and we have the most beautiful portraits with the best view of the city. The wedding reception flowed smoothly and Tricia really knew how to stay on the timeline and keep everything and every vendor organized. The food was superb and the beverage package was fantastic. The epic really knew how to house an EPIC wedding. The Hotel was able to host our rehearsal dinner/ party as well in their beautiful sky lounge and people are still talking about the views. I highly recommend the hotel for all your event needs. The Epic catering team and hotel staff is professional, knows how to work together, and excellent at what they do. I would say to run, don't walk to book The Epic Hotel.

I planned my dream wedding at the Epic Hotel for May 2, 2020. Unfortunately, due to Covid19 we had to cancel and I was devastated and we were unable to reschedule due to availability. Patricia, our main point of contact was beyond AMAZING and helpful. She made the whole planning experience so enjoyable - she was beyond responsive and professional. She did multiple tours for me and my family, always answered immediately and sent very detailed recap notes after every meeting. When we had to make the hard choice to cancel, she made everything so easy and was beyond supportive. I couldn't recommend this venue more and I'm beyond sad we won't be able to see our dream wedding all the way through.

There is not enough words in the world to express the gratitude I have for Patricia and the entire Epic team! Our wedding was in 10/27/2018 and it was a true dream come true and out of a fairytale! Every question, every detail was handled with such love and care, that trusting them with our vision was easy! Patricia is an angel on earth! She is so professional and a friend at the same time! Through my million questions and concerns, she was always there to assure me that everything would turn out perfect and she wasn’t kidding! We even had a situation in which we had to change things around 3 weeks before the wedding and Patricia guided me in the right direction, calmed all my nerves and took charge! My wedding was perfect and it’s all thanks to them! The food, the accommodations (Guillermo from the room coordination is amazing!) and the communication was top notch! I wish I could re-do my wedding again and again exactly the same way! Thank you Patricia and the Epic team for making my dreams come true!

The EPIC hotel exceeded all of our expectations. Patricia was wonderful for the planning process and always answered all of our questions. The venue itself was beautiful with an organized staff. Their catering was incredible as many guests told us it was the BEST wedding food they have ever had.

The team at the Epic was superb and helped to make our wedding absolutely PERFECT! Lissette and Chanel helped with accommodating my guests with their rooms before the big day. Patricia came on board once we had already booked with the Epic and she didn't miss a beat. She made me feel comfortable and her communication and professionalism were above par. Michael also helped to make our day run smooth and without any hiccups. Nelson was the man of the night! Everyone was talking about Nelson and how attentive he was to my husband and me, as well as my family. His customer service was impeccable! All in all, I am elated that we chose the Epic to host our wedding as it was our BEST DAY EVER!!

This is one of the best reception venues in South Florida! I married my husband in November 2016 and I am so happy that I choose this reception venue. From the beginning working with Lourdes R. was a pleasure. She was helpful, professional and hands on. She was there from the start of the reception to the end. I could not ask for a better banquet manager.

EPIC hotel was the best decision I could have ever made for my venue. It was everything I was looking for: sleek chic sophisticated modern elegance in the heart of the city. Beautiful ceremony/reception room, the best food options & package. Now that my wedding has passed I found even more reasons why EPIC was meant to be. First & foremost, the staff were incredible. I could not have asked for anyone better to work with than Stacy Rosario. She was professional, always got back to me/my mother promptly, was very organized, detail oriented and not to mention the biggest sweetheart. I am an out of town bride and was nervous about things but Stacy was there with a good attitude & a smile & got things done! I was so appreciative of her help I almost cried seeing her on my wedding night. She even apparently found out where I was going for my honeymoon & surprised me & the groom with a plate full of our favorite in our honeymoon suite: chocolate covered strawberries! But they weren't just any chocolate covered strawberries - they had chocolate Mickie Mouses on top (we went to Disney for our honeymoon!). We also had an ice bucket full of our favorite beverages after our wedding which was so thoughtful! Ah and Chris - he was also so very helpful answering all my questions - such a pro and on top of things! Even helped us when he didn't have to with our bridal and groom getting ready rooms! EPIC also provides you with your own butler. Ours was Nelson and he was incredible - he brought us drinks, food, anything the groom & I needed throughout the night! This man made sure to keep us relaxed, hydrated, fed and happy. We are so very appreciative for that! And the foooood! Everyone gave us so many complements on how the wedding food was like a 5 star restaurant! Everything was so spectacular & I have never felt like such a VIP in my life! Worth every penny and can't wait to come back for our anniversary!

My dream wedding was simply spectacular and one of the main contributors who made this possible was Lourdes Ramos and the wonderful staff at the EPIC. My search for my ceremony and reception venue was easy since I knew from the start that I wanted the Miami Skyline as my backdrop. Knowing this, I requested information from a few venue sin downtown Miami. The EPIC had plenty of wedding information on their website and I made an initial site viewing with Lourdes, the Catering Manager. As soon as I walked into their Ballroom knew right then and there that was my venue, same way when you try on "the dress". I didn't need to visit any other hotel. Now was just a matter of planning out the details. As any nervous bride, there was constant communication on selections and Lourdes was always more than helpful and responsive to all my inquiries, Although the planning process was very smooth, the most important part came on my actual wedding day. Lourdes came early in the day and from that moment sho took over and was hand ons with her staff, guests, ad yes even my "fiancee"! Making sure everything was perfect as if she had come to know me in the past 9 months of dealing with me! lol My maid of honor kept saying Lourdes is handing everything down stairs. I was sooooooo very thankful because she went above and beyond and because of her hard work and dedication, our day was PERFECT!! We also had the most amazing wedding butter, Manuel, whom we had met in or tasting, and on our day he stuck to us to ensure we ate, drank and fulfilled and any and every request, even accompanied us to our room at the end of a very long day! SERVICE is super at the Epic but Lourdes, Manuel and the entire staff are the reason why we and our guests have the best memories of our special day. If you happen to consider the Epic, I assure you you're at the right place for service, hospitality, satisfaction and lasting memories of your dream day!

Absolutely.....EPIC! Yes, price but Every dollar spent was worth it. My husband and I have ZERO Regrets. A millions times YES to the Epic. We had our wedding on a Friday night, you can imagine how busy that place can get. And it did.. and Valet was a mission, but still no one cared about that. No one even mentioned it because all people are ranting about was how they just attended the most amazing wedding day ever. I tell you, I spent a lot of time imagining how the night would look but nothing amounts to the magnitude of such setting until you see it. I loved EVERYTHING. The food, the space, the people. Let me tell you about the people. LOURDES... THANK YOU! She was superb. Helped me every step along the way. She made me comfortable, calmed my nerves, and washed all my worries away. She gave advice even when I didn't ask for it; she made it easy. and Nelson.... He is the one that will follow you all night making sure you're great. When I needed water he was right there! it was incredible. When I need anything: wiping of the floors because someone spilled wine, food, or anything else... he was there. Even my family highly thanked him for taking great care of the bride and groom. So to Epic, and the team at the Epic... a huge THANK YOU! We recommend this venue to everyone! I cannot stop replaying our wedding night.

Let me just say, WOW!!! Love Epic, EPIC made our dreams come true more then once. My guest were blown away by everything, love everything about it. The ball room look glitz and glam. Just like they promise. Our catering manager Lourdes was incredible from the beginning to the end. The staff, service and food will blow you away alone. The ambiance is just so beautiful. The professionalism and very detail oriented from start to finish. The Metropolis ballroom with the city view is a gorgeous background for any event!

I'm extremely grateful and happy to have chosen the Epic Hotel Miami to as both my Wedding Ceremony and Dinner Reception venue. Lourdes Ramos is a class act, incredibly helpful and flexible. If it's in her hands she will make it happen for you. Everything was handled flawlessly from beginning to end, even the times when situations could have gone wrong. Also the staff was so attentive and seamless at the same time. If you want excellent bar service. exquisite food and practically your personal butler following you around solving problems for you on such an important and potentially stressful day, this is the place to go. The views are spectacular, the place is pristine and spotless but cozy at the same time. I highly recommend the Epic for a breathtaking and enjoyable celebration!

I loved the new renovated ballroom with the most fantastic view of the city. Staff was extremely attentive and always had a smile on their faces. I recommend this venue if you like a modern and upscale feel. :)

After our numerous visits to various wedding venues in and around Miami, we were so ecstatic when we finally decided to host our wedding reception at the Epic Hotel. The Epic Hotel speaks for itself, great location, modern look, welcoming staff and great atmosphere. The ballroom was everything we had hoped for, not to mention the balcony, which provided a night time view of the Miami skyline. The staff at the Epic Hotel did a commendable job, from the catering manager, Lourdes, who was by our side throughout the planning phase, down to the staff members who assisted on our wedding day. The service was welcoming and very professional. We specifically, wanted to point out the great service we received from our waiter, Nelson, he really did a great job and saw to our every need on during the reception. Thank you once again.

Lourdes was incredible! Everything about the venue was set beautifully and just how I pictured. She was always responsive to my requests and diligent in everything she managed for the wedding. Must have wedding venue!!!

The EPIC Hotel hosted our daughter's wedding on Saturday evening, November 8th. It was a fairy tale come true and the EPIC played a large role in it. Lourdes Ramos, catering manager, worked with me for nearly a year. She is professional and unemotional in dealing with a very emotional time for a bride and her parents. She tried to accommodate our desires, and guide us through the process. She understands the hotel's capabilities and the proof was in the final product. The entire weekend was fantastic. Our guests had a great time. The food was delicious, and the staff smiled and was accommodating to the needs of guests ranging in age from 3 - 85!!! Not easy. We had a Welcome Reception poolside on Friday night; guests sunned themselves on Saturday at the glorious pool, and the wedding played out in the Metropolis Room on Saturday evening. There was nothing unexpected or missing. It all worked seamlessly. Kudos all around. Shout out to Banquet Captain Rafael Quintero who directed the evening serving at the Welcome Reception and at the Wedding. Lovely, professional. And to the emergency Bow Tie Man Zach, who came to the rescue of the groomsmen and wedding party when no one could tie a bow tie. The front desk sent him up and it saved the day. The front desk staff and the security team dealt with lost items
(misplaced by guests), found and returned them. The bellmen, John, Kevin and too many other professional men downstairs, volunteered to do anything and everything to help me get through the weekend. I am grateful to all and HIGHLY RECOMMEND the EPIC to anybody planning the event of their life.

Everyone at Epic was so accommodating and friendly!! Andrea Rodriguez, the catering coordinator was exceptional! She made my dream wedding happen. What originally attracted me to the Epic Hotel was their gorgeous metropolis ballroom but since we had a small wedding guest list, a conference room was more suitable. The day of the wedding, Andrea (who also gave me her personal cell in for quick access to her) told my husband and I she had great news. Since the Metropolis Ballroom was not being used that day, she asked if I wanted to move my celebration to that room. I wanted to cry! Andrea was like a family member working hard on my wedding day to make it perfect!

The purpose of this letter is to commend you for the wonderful service we received during my daughter's wedding. I was very impressed by the overall performance of all events together: food, decoration, staff, service, and the honesty of your Security Staff. The day of the wedding my niece inadvertently forgot a ring in the ladies room that had a deep sentimental value, as it used to belong to my deceased mother.
Around 5:30 am we went looking for the ring among other things at the Ladies restroom to no avail. My sisters and I spoke to your security agent, Mr. Travis as soon as I provided him with the description of the ring he informed us that one of your staff, Sandra, had found the ring and submitted the same to the Lost and Found Department. He went to get it and after requesting a full description of the ring, he gave it to me and asked me to sign a form as proof that the ring was returned to the rightful owner. It meant a lot to me.
I want to take this opportunity to Thank You and your staff for the wonderful customer service, professionalism, honesty and integrity of your personnel, also want to let you know that Nelson, assigned to my table, gave us and the rest of our guest a delightful service all night long.

Epic Hotel was our dream venue, and thanks to Lourdes Ramos catering director, our dream wedding came true. Very modern, high class, great service, professional, and caring venue. Our wedding at the Epic turned out to be much more than I ever imagined. The staff (from the planner Lourdes and all of the front desk and day of staff, etc) were all so great and helpful throughout the whole process and day of. The food was delicious and the venue is so beautiful. We also all stayed at the hotel and had such a pleasant experience. Everyone at the Epic was a pleasure to work with and we were all so happy with everything.

I can't even begin to express the gratitude I have for every single person that made our big day absolutely amazing (Lourdes Ramos- Epic Hotel wedding planner; Vivian Colls Flowers; Alain Martinez Photographer; Alex & Ulyses-Videographers from In the Ring Productions/Hitched Wedding Films, Adrian-DJ from EMG Entertainment). We were absolutely thrilled with our venue choice. Everything went off without a hitch, and Lourder Ramos was always around to make sure everything ran smoothly. After all the planning and changes we made along the way, everyone was extremely flexible and accommodating, and we had quite literally the perfect wedding. People always tell you they had a great time, but it is not that often that you have multiple guests tell you that it was the best wedding they have ever been to. Lourdes Ramos was fantastic and delivered on every single thing that she said, while being very flexible to all of our last minute requests. This was the best day of our lives, and if I could give them higher than 5 stars I would. I would recommend them, and will to anyone who is looking for a wedding venue, without hesitation. Thank you all so much for being so amazing. You remember your wedding day for your entire life, and we will always look back on our day as pure perfection!

I have to preface my statement with letting you know that I am extremely detailed oriented and have a discriminating palate and love for great service. Choosing Epic to host my recent nuptials was by far one of the greatest decisions we made. Compared to the Four-Seasons, Fontaine Bleu, and Intercontinental, the Epic gave us the biggest bang for our buck. The catering manager and waitstaff were extremely attentive all the way from the tasting through the end of the event. I was further more impressed with their willingness to accommodate my every request and their intuitive service approach, that other venues are typically know for. I highly recommend that all brides and grooms, brides and brides, and in our case, grooms and grooms consider Epic. Know that this recommendation is not being written with a light heart, or with any subjectivity. I know a good deal when I see one and EPIC will deliver on every level.

The EPIC is a dream venue for any couple looking for top of the line everything! (espically if you are looking for a modern venue) On top of that the catering manager, Lourdes, is amazing! I had my wedding this month and I already miss working with Lourdes, because she is go great! The hotel, the bridal suite, ballroom, food, service and everything that a couple would look for in a venue the EPIC has it all! Dont look any further because this is THE place to get married :)

Lourdes is the best! I was planning my wedding over the phone before our move to Miami from San Francisco. Lourdes is very professional and also very approachable. She is a true service professional. She was very patient and accommodating to all of our needs! The Epic Hotel is a beautiful venue, but Lourdes is what takes the experience over the top! Thank you, Lourdes, for everything. The reception at the Epic was amazing. Everything from the attention to the view were fantastic.
They took care of every little detail and accomodated each and every one of our wishes.
First of all the lobby to the hotel is so beautiful that you enjoy the place since you walk in. Not to mention the pool area for taking pictures, so beautiful with the city view as the background.
The cocktail and the reception ballroom looked beautiful. And the food, wow!. The wedding consisted of 140 guest and all I have received is praise about the venue.

Perfect venue for our wedding! Beautiful hotel with great service. The ballroom is unique and beautiful with a great view, cool lighting and nice decor. The food was delicious and the wedding coordinator, Sunshine, is extremely helpful, professional and knowledgeable. During the wedding, the staff treated me like royalty and were very attentive. Would definitely chose the EPIC Hotel again! My wedding turned out perfect!

Not only is the EPIC an amazing venue with an AWESOME ballroom and location, BUT their personnel and staff are professional, helpful and overall just good caring people. They really cater to all your needs and make the day very relaxing and worry free! HIGHLY recommend the EPIC to any couple. It is worth every cent!!!

Choosing the Epic was one of the easiest choices in my wedding. From the minute I saw their advertisement in a magazine I knew I wanted to have my wedding there. The ballroom is absolutely stunning from the ceiling to the floor. The mother of pearl wall was gorgeous and made quite a statement as did the glass blown lights to the floor to ceiling windows showing the bank of america tower! The food was delicious, even better than the tasting. The service was amazing! They had a private server for the bride and groom who was there every second getting us drinks and food. Lourdes was very responsive in her emails and very professional as was the entire hotel. If something happened that shouldn't have, they fixed it right away. Great venue for a great price!!

I had my Reception at the Epic Hotel on July 16th, and it was absolutely beautiful! The Ballroom looked amazing, the food was great, and the people were wonderful!!! I couldn't have picked a better venue!

The staff was fantastic the day of our wedding, any request was handled promptly. Everything went off without a hitch.

There is so much to comment on the Epic hotel, where do I even start? First and foremost, I would like to thank all of the staff at the Epic. Ivette Perez, the social events manager, is a true professional. Unfortunately, I was unable to have my wedding reception at the Epic because the health department was investigating the hotel’s water filters, two weeks prior to my event. Due to this issue, Ivette had my event relocated to the Mandarin Oriental at no additional cost. Given that the Mandarin Oriental is a five star hotel, I was confident my wedding reception would be executed as planned. This was a hard transition for me, because everything had been originally planned at the Epic hotel. The food at the Epic was amazing. I tried it at my tasting. The staff was great as well. In conclusion, the Epic had no fault in my wedding reception relocation. They truly made the relocation as smooth as possible. I highly recommend the Epic Hotel for their professionalism.

Lourdes is the best, she made our special day just magical! She was patient; knowledgeable, and extremely attention to detail. Best part? She genuinely cares unlike other hotels where you are just a number. Thank you Epic Hotel for making my fairytale wedding become a reality!

The Epic Hotel was a great and beautiful venue, it was exactly what I was looking for. The venue is different that most though, just like the hotel is different from most. Everything has more of a modern feel, but if that's what you're looking for then it is perfect for you as it was for me.

Thank you to The Epic Hotel team, including Lourdes (the Catering Manager) that was an absolute dream to work with. The many changes, phone calls and anxiety i had during the wedding process all subsided as she took care of my every need from the day we booked the venue to the wedding day. Her friendly and upbeat personality made wedding planning at The Epic a blast.

The wedding day was unlike anything I have ever experienced, from the valet to the concierge, everyone took such good care of me (the bride) and our family and friends. Anyone with special needs were accommodated and the ceremony, which we held on the lawn, as well as our poolside cocktail hour, and reception was a perfect 10. Our guests have been calling us since the wedding and all the keep saying was that the service was top notch and the venue was incredible. We couldn't be any happier with our choice, and of all the venues in Miami that we looked at, this was the absolute best value. Thank you Epic team for the most "EPIC" event!!!

My experience with this vendor was great. Any questions or concerns I had were taken care of so I didn't have to worry about anything on my big day. I was very happy with the service and how I was treated. My big day was awesome and memorable. My husband's favorite part was that we had our own butler during the reception and his drink was always available to him where ever he was throughout the night! :) I also like that my guests enjoyed the food and still talk about it till today!

The Epic was an incredible venue and its staff were absolutely amazing! Lourdes made sure to answer every single question and request during the entire planning period. We were sad to see her go a month before the wedding but her replacement Stacy was just as amazing and responsive! The venue includes many extras in its package that make it well worth the price! The food was amazing! The only issue we had was that two of the hors d'oeuvres did not come out as previously decided upon. The day of Stacy was great and on top of everything! Also shout out to Nelson who was there getting my husband and I everything we could every want/need the day of! He is truly amazing and the sweetest person as well! So happy we had him!

The EPIC hotel was a dream come true! The venue is amazing, the staff were wonderful and Lourdes Ramos was great. She was very helpful and accommodating throughout the planning process. The food was also very tasty. My wedding felt like it was right out of a story book and it was exactly what I had dreamed of all thanks to the EPIC and their wonderful staff.

The Epic is so beautiful! I really couldn't have asked for more. Lourdes helped along the way when needed and helped things run smoothly on the day of. The best part was Nelson, he made sure to keep us hydrated all night long. We never had to go to the bar for drinks and no matter where we were on the dance floor Nelson was there with water and a drink. He's the best!

Where to even begin... First of all, Lourdes Ramos is an absolute pleasure to work with. She not only understood my needs, but my mom's as well, and learned very quickly how to work with both of us. She is extremely professional and timely. She held my hand through the beginning of the planning process since I did not have a planner at the time.

Fast forward to the big day, and EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT. The service was magnificant, and the food was amazing. Everyone has complimented me for the amazing food (including the hors d'oeuvres) that we served. The view from the Metropolis ballroom that night was spectacular with the Miami Tower all lit up in the background. The room itself is definitely of the prettiest ballrooms I saw in my search process, with the gorgous Mother of Pearl wall, Downtown View, and neutral carpet and scheme. The cocktail party by the pool was perfection.

I do not recommend booking a wedding here around Ultra (which we did, before they extended to a second weekend). However, truthfully, the Ultra-goers had no negative impact on us (only a little the night before when I wanted to sleep).

Lastly, the only thing that I had always been worried about was the crowded lobby/valet. But that day, everything was smooth and easy, and athe feedback I've gotten was that the valet was on its best behavior.

The Epic did an AMAZING job at my wedding!!! It was truly a pleasure working with everyone on their team. Everything was flawless!!! The catering was GREAT. All my guests LOVED all the food and beverage (bartenders and drinks... to be specific ;) lol), the service was phenomenal and everything was done so neatly, professionally, and in a timely manner. I really cannot express in words how PERFECT it was. They put in a lot of hard work to put everything together and it was a job well done! Couldn’t have done it without them! Hope to work with them again in the future.

Where can I start?? What brought me to the Epic first of all, was the reasonably priced packages. It included everything from the chiavari chairs and silk pintuck linens (in wide variety color of choice), a custom fondant cake with 3 well known famous cake vendors, automatic premium liqouor, and beef tenderloin at the cheapest package!!!

From the moment I walked into the hotel itself, I automatically knew that, this was the place I wanted to host my wedding. I love the grandeur of the hotel entrance and the pristine lobby and high ceilings, it was perfect. Once I met with Ivette, in which I called probably 10 min before arriving and she accomodated my last minute meeting, she took me to the 14th floor and already I was in love. The foyer is gorgeous and perfect to host a cocktail event. With dark expresso wood walls, marble floors at the entrance, and modern sofa lounge seating available, just gorgeous. It flows perfectly with the ballroom, there is no need to walk through a long hall in order to get to it. Now what really sold me was the ballroom itself; not too large, beautiful hanging ball lamps, huge floor to ceiling windows with views of the Bank of America building, and a gorgeous wrap around balcony for smokers, like my hubby, and non smokers to enjoy! This ballroom does not need any major transformation, the room itself is beautiful, with a mother of pearl wall and dark expresso wood walls; in other words, you don't need to spend an arm and a leg decorating, just add flowers and uplights, and your done!

I booked immediately with Ivette and they were flexible with deposit and payments. They did not require full 50% up front, just to reserve the date. I think depending how far away it is, they can work with you. Ivette was very helpful with choosing vendors and other questions I had along the way. She does get a little busy sometimes, so she has an assistant named Christy, who is just as helpful. The food tasting was amazing! Although I wish they would let you choose a little more hor'dorves to try, although I did not have one complaint about the ones we tried. I was a very relaxed bride so I did not require attention at all moments, nor did I bombard Ivette with a thousand questions. So planning at the Epic was a breeze.

Wedding day: I was able to get a gorgeous 1 bedroom suite to accomodate myself and my girls to get ready. We were 15 of us in the room (including make up artists, hair dresser, etc), and were comfortable! I would suggest to try to get this room because it will make your day so much more special. Room service was extremely attentive to all my girls requests as well! Before heading to the ceremony, I took some gorgeous pictures with my girls around the lobby, the hotel employees were aware and would help along the way with blocking some hotel guests from interrupting pictures. Back from the ceremony, my hubby and I were taken to the residency side of the Epic to avoid having passerbys interrupt our photos. The manager of the building came to us and asked if we wanted to take photos at their penthouse suite, and the photos came out absolutely gorgeous!!! That was very nice of them to allow us to do that.
Ivette followed us through and it was so much fun. Once we were done, she took us the back way into a meeting ballroom she set up for us to unwind with our drinks and a platter of our hor'deovurs. This was also a room set up for me to change into my second dress.

During the reception the service was outstanding and extremely attentive, not only to us, but to all our guests as well. They picked up after every meal and did not leave any plates after a while. My guests also told me that during the cocktail, the servers would be attentive of their drinks and brought them refills once my guests would finish. They also said the hor'dorves were in abundance and there was never a moment that they weren't offered a different dish.

I never tried the food because the hubby and I were all over the place saying hi to people, etc. I truly wish we did eat because till today everyone raves about the food.

Another great thing is once the reception was over everyone headed downstairs to the River Lounge (a beautiful venue) to keep the partying going. It was a great change of pace and perfect for the young people who want to stay up all night.

Cons: My 2 only complaints about the night were;
- I originally had a table seating layout that would have a table on the far right corner of the ballroom (facing the windows from the back wall). I tried to explain that I did not want that table there because it was a horrible spot and you could not see the rest of the room from there. I thought it was taken care of, but the table was there, and I was completely embarrassed when my guests asked jokingly if we didn't like them.
- I had planned for the curtains to be closed only at the beginning of the reception when my guests were being seated and to be opened during the middle of my first dance and kept open the entire night, but for some reason, they closed it after awhile (I believe bc the bank of america building lights shut off, but I did not care about that). I wanted them open till the end of the night. Because they were closed, alot of my guests were confused and kept walking to the foyer to use the balcony from there, that had no view of the city. So I was upset about that.

Other than those two complaints, I had a wonderful time. The hotel is brand new and beautiful and I would recommend it to everyone. All my guests keep raving about everything! I also love that they think I spent a bunch of money on everything because the food, drinks and venue were amazing!!

It was very important that our wedding venue/caterer support our love and wedding. Our planner recommended the Epic Hotel, and we booked immediately! Such an incredibly beautiful hotel with amazing grounds and decor - it was the perfect setting for our wedding! The menus are so yummy, the staff was on-point and hospitable the whole time, and our guests enjoyed themselves!

The Epic was a great venue for my daughter's 15th birthday. Lourdes Ramos and her staff were very nice and easy to work with. The service on the day of the event was excellent. I would recommend this hotel for anyone who is looking to not have to get from different vendors chivarri chairs, glass beaded chargers, pretty tablecloths and a cake. These are all included and therefore eliminates the need to secure those things.

Best day ever! Everything from the food to the events team attentions was on point! Nelson was my personal butler for the day and my husband and I couldn't have asked for anybody better.

My Wedding should have been on TV with how Fabulous I planned it.

Lourdes in catering will make your wedding an absolute dream. \My daughter and I couldn't have had a better catering person to work with. I recommend her wholeheartedly.

We loved our wedding, and the space, food, and facilities were great. Lourdes is very experienced and organized, which is very helpful if it's your first time planning a huge event. We also had great service from Nelson.

However, things started out rough with The Epic, after I flew in from out of town to sign a contract in person. I was at the airport, waiting for my flight home, when I received multiple frantic voicemails and emails from the hotel, which resulted in the hotel canceling our previously executed contract due to the fact that we had booked our wedding for the same date as a major event in town. We were able to rebook for another date, but it caused a lot of stress. The hotel did not apologize for the gaffe, let alone offer any discount or additional service to make up for its own scheduling mistake. We let this slide, though, because we were so excited about our wedding. The actual planning process was a bit rough also because the venue was very inflexible with regard to our request to start our ceremony on time. We had to request this multiple times before the venue agreed to our proposed schedule. There was less emphasis on customer service and more emphasis on what was best for the hotel staff and the hotel's bottom line during the planning process, which was very off-putting. We were treated very differently than friends who married at other Kimpton hotels in other cities. However, we were very happy with our wedding day overall.

Our guests also had problems with the room block reservations at The Epic, and we had much better service with regard to our room block across the street at the Hyatt Regency. The Hyatt provided great service and released special rooms to me after the hotel had sold out online, made changes quickly by email, and hand-delivered our welcome bags to guests' rooms free of charge. The Epic charged $7 per bag for delivery, and many of our guests at The Epic never received their bags. :-(

We met with Lourdes for a tour of the venue, and were promised a proposal to be emailed within a week of our visit. Despite this promise, we never received the proposal or any other further communication from this vendor.
Because we indicated that we were looking for selecting one of the lower tiered options, we felt that we were not given professional treatment or courtesy and that the event coordinator was disinterested during our meeting. This lack of hospitality and service was disappointing to say the least.
Given the way Epic handles their business, I can say that the feeling of disinterest is mutual.
